alright, my NS nation is still fairly young, and i'm new to the whole forum based war thing on here. how does it work? how can i organize my military? after that, how do i develop that into a virtual war?

In addition to the stickies, you may want to lurk for a while and read the other RP threads. See what other players are doing. The stickies make for good advice, but reading the various RP threads would give you an idea of how you want to present yourself to the world.

^^ Fully agree, take a peak into other RPs to get a feel. And ask me - or most anyone - if you've got questions. Most of us are more than happy to help you guys who are new to improve so NS can be a fun place to play around in.

Basicly the above is how most RP'ers get the hang of RPing.
And welcome to NS! But a few words of advice before you prance off:
1. Don't immediately attack a nation when you have very few posts, if you must, create a detailed and long description as to why. (No, "I can atacks becuz I can"!!!!!)
2. Wait a bit and choose your friends wisely, take it slowly when joining alliances.
3. Know what godmoding is, and avoid it in all cases.
