“Welcome to ‘Good Times’. I’m your host: Julcsa Fazakas, a man of the world. It’s my job to take you, the viewing public, around the world to places where you’ll find great food, good liquor, and friendly locals. I’ve travelled the world from the coldest wastelands to the hottest of deserts and now I’m going to take you along with me on a tour that’ll last in your memory forever. In our first stop on this fabulous trip: Ursava.” A young, black-haired woman said on the T.V against a light green background with the words ‘Good Times’ written in white all across the aforementioned background.

The Torma Sixty-Seven

The view was of a shining sun, sparkling water on the coast of Ursava, locals walking around smiling and waving, and of course: a ye-old styled pub. Cars went going by as the camera slowly zoomed in on the sign above the large wooden doors. Painted in gold raised letters against the blue background was ‘Kardos’s Old Den’. Then, on the camera the young Julcsa Fazakas steps in front of the camera with her black hair in a short pony-tail, wearing khaki pants and a white t-shirt. Julcsa steps in front of the large wooden doors while the sun shines down, before she starts speaking again.

“The coastal city of Torma, located on the coast-line of Ursava, is known for it’s astounding sixty-seven pubs and bars!” Julcsa said, motioning to the door behind her and to places off-screen which the camera turned to look to “So we’re going to get ourselves drunk.” Julcsa said, smiling.

The scene changes to a fat man sitting with Julcsa sitting at a large booth, a table with an intricate carving on it, and two mugs. Both of them have plates of various types of food that are partially eaten and both are happily digging in to their meat and other parts of the meal.

“I met Moricz Kardos, the owner of ‘Kardos’s Old Den’ and their head cook. He helped me to a serving of steak and greens along with a large meat-pie on the side. So far the meal’s been delicious but we had the mugs on the table for a reason.”

A waitress comes up and takes the mugs away temporarily before coming back with said mugs having been filled to the brim with a dark copper-colored liquid and a little foam that nearly reached the rim. Both Julcsa and Moricz nod at the young woman with happy smiles. Julcsa then reaches for her mug.

“As the old saying in my home-town goes: you haven’t had rum till you’ve had it in Torma.”

<<X>>

Yeah, I got the idea for this after watching Anthony Bordaine and his tourism show. I didn’t too well with this first one because I was in a hurry but anyways: this is it. If you want your country visited, post so and what places that have good food, people, and maybe a notable fact or two. I’ll get the countries in order of ‘first-come first-serve’...assuming anybody comes. Also, if you want to have guest stars (like people who do local versions of this show in your country) telegram me first.
