Bohovia Nuclear Power Plant Problem
At around 2:30AM last night, during the 6th day of the operation of the Nuclear Power Plant, the Plant let out a very loud BOOM, almost deafing, as the sound shockwave streached over thousands of kilometers. For an odd reason the Nuclear Power Plant failed. This caused a nation of about 450 million people, to loose power a 14 and a half hour power outage was reported in ALL of Bohovia. After further investigation officials found a leak of Nuclear fluids, as a result the safety devices forced the plant to turn off. The Plant has been fixed and is operational again. OOC: It was remade, to get rid of all the OOC posts, debating the functionality of the reactors.
IC: The seismic sensors dotted around the ASoGM noted the shockwave, but the General Ministry came to the decision to do nothing, as they didn't want to involve the ASoGM with the risky Bohovian technology.
OOC: He said he'd repost a clean one.
"Welcome viewers, to UN3. In recent head-lines: a large explosion of a nuclear reactor in the country of Bohovia has been reported causing a temporary nation-wide black-out. Ursavian experts say that they believe reports of the situation 'already being fixed' is simply propaganda given the known size of the reactor and the average system of reactors. URsavian haz-mat crews have been mobolized and an aid offer has been sent to the nation of Bohavia to search for any survivors, account for the dead, and attempt to help jump-start the undoubtedly long clean-up process predicted to take many years. We'll bring you more on this situation as details come in to us." The red-headed anchorwoman said as she straightened a pile of papers filled with interesting topics "In other news, the Ursavian rail company: UNM has recently..."

It has come to our attention you have recently experianced a nuclear failure. Given the condition of any nuclear reactor and what they use it is impossible for you to have fixed it so quickly. However, we assume your lie was to ease the tension of your public. We are willing to send several units of haz-mat containment units to aid in the identifying and catalouging of the dead, rescuing any possible survivors, and help in the jump-start of the undeniably long-term restoration project on your environment.

Massive Explosion Rocks Bohovia
The blast could be heard over a thousand miles away, according to sources inside of the Free Land of Bohovia. The source was apparently the alleged "nuclear power plant" completed there less than a week ago. However, the detonation itself, press coverage of the structure itself, and the immediate propaganda release from the Bohovian government, fail to live up to its supposed role.
The blast occured early in the morning, shattering windows across the region. Casualty figures have yet to be released, but PRA's Creative Weapons Division projects a tremendous loss of human lives. "From the sheer size of the shockwave, we're looking at a blast of at least fifty megatons," says PRA's doctor Isaiah Hallson. "There weren't any reports of a flash, so we're probably looking at an underground nuclear test, which would be incredibly irresponsible at such a scale."
This hypothesis is supported by several factors, including the power loss experienced by the entire country, which could be explained by the destructive electromagnetic pulse commonly associated with nuclear blasts. Bohovian government reports have done little to dispel such rumors, citing a leak in "nuclear fluids." Furthermore, previous press releases have been equally nonsensical, even confirming suspicions that weapons grade nuclear material was on hand at the site.
The Otagian State Department has yet to release an official stance on the matter.

Ascelonia Technocracy News Report
A man in a blue suit with a red tie begins reading off news reports. The first story is displayed with graphic satellite imagery of charred wastelands and videos of people fleeing what appears to be an area hit by a nuclear weapon.
"Today, in Bohovia, a rather large nuclear reactor has exploded. Ascelonian officials cite that the reasons behind the disaster [A man in Ascelonian Guardian Angels uniform appears on screen]: "(Coughs) The whole incident was remarkably laughable (chuckles), except the whole millions of dead people deal (snickers to himself). Well, the nuclear reactor probably went into meltdown after the Bohovian government attempted to use the nuclear power plant to power four hundred million people. No nuclear power plant is capable of power so many people. We think that the Bohovian government was not aware that running it's power plant at such power levels would cause a radioactive meltdown. The fail-safes built into the nuclear power plant do not appear to be idiot-proof (another chuckle)...
(Flashes to more graphic imagery) Hundreds of thousands of Bohovians have been confirmed dead upon the initial impact of the explosion. The Bohovian officials attempted to shut down the power plant a little belated, since it was after the reactor had exploded. It has been fourteen and a half hours since the meltdown and radioactive fallout is sweeping across Bohovia. The Ascelonian government has not issued an official statement, but our sources and government insiders report massive trafficking of aid supplies and sudden appearances of large refugee camps in Ascelonia, itself. More to come in our next report...

We have detected a massive explosion in your territory. Please don't censor the fact that there is a radioactive meltdown in your nation. Millions are dead. Millions are dying. Millions more will die if you do not accept our offer of assistance. Millions are fleeing your nation as we speak. It's time to be realistic.
We offer economic assistance. Refugees will be employed in Ascelonian public works projects as well as work to improve the refugee camps. There will be temporary housing for your government and people within our country and any parts of your country that are not irradiated. We will warn that wind will sweep radioactive fallout across your nation. Haz-mat crews will be on the scene to investigate the damage incurred as well as attempting to isolate the reactor. We propose that a large sarcophagus be established around the reactor site. We will attempt to introduce bacteria that absorb energy from radiation into the area. A research facility will be built adjacent to ground zero, not only to research the effects of radiation on wildlife and humans, but also to learn ways to prevent further incidents from occuring.
