National Syndicate trials in Bardar;

The National Syndicate members that was caught in the showdown between their forces and the Bardarian armed forces are now on trial in Baradech. The leader of the National Syndicate; Imre Nagvar is one of the men on trial. Already some of the less important members have been tried and convicted for treachery, treason, heresy and murder. They have been sentenced together with their families to a status of lawlessness in the Kingdom of Bardar, and families who have lost their relatives to their wicked deeds have now rights to carry out their holy retribution on them. They have also lost the rights to enter a Bardarian shrine, temple and church and stand now without the protection of the gods. They have lost their rights to seek blood revenge if any of their kindred are killed, and they have lost all the support of the law, the nation of Bardar will not help them in any way if they are robbed, raped, killed or injured by an other member of society.

These were the sentences given to the low rank captives. Now the high rank commanders of the National Syndicate are on trial. Judges say they will face charges of treason, murder, genocide, terrorism, heresy, blasphemy and unethical conducts. They will probably face public executions or stoning.

Trials in Bardar continue;

The trials in Bardar continued today with the trials of some of Imre Nagvar's men that had died in battle. They were declared unholy ghosts with no chance of redemption in the Otherworld, and their families were sentenced to lawlessness. Another trial that took place was the trial of Imre Nagvar's wife and children that were convicted for kinship with evil and sentenced to death by stoning, performed by relatives of Imre Nagvar's victims. Still the mixed tribunal of religious, civilian and military judges has not commented on when Imre Nagvar himself or his closest lieutenants will face justice.

Yesterday stoning sentences on Imre Nagvar's wife and children, and some other National Syndicate members and their families were carried out. the Royal Government assured that only people with real blood oaths against the families in question were permitted to participate in the stoning. A spokesperson from the Royal Government said that families of the victims now had been able to get their Holy Retribution, and that true justice have been made. Yesterday the trial against Imre Nagvar himself and his closest lieutenants began behind closed doors. No one from the Royal Government or the Committee of Anti-terrorism has yet commented on that.

Today a mixed tribunal of religious, civilian and military judges has convicted the dangerous terrorist Imre Nagvar and eight of his closest associates for terrorism, genocide, murder, crimes against humanity, blasphemy, heresy, crimes against the Bardarian nation, treason, sorcery, treachery and cowardism. We find your stoning of innocent women and children appalling. By killing the innocent families of the criminals, you have demolished the already slight amount of respect we have for you. You have been put on the maximum watch level that does not result in war. Even the method by which they were killed is absolutely unacceptable. Also, the location of the trial suggests to us that it was not a fair one. We demand some record of the trials.

We also find the naivety of your nation quite amusing. Heresy and terrorism in your country will not die by the execution of one man.

In short, we have our 522 million eyes on you.

Hmm. We understand the pain that has been brought upon your nation, but your method of execution still remains questionable.

Also, surely you could have reeducated the children, stop them from being like their fathers, perhaps even make them forget they even had fathers, instead of killing them?

In any case, we demand records of Imre Nagvar's trial.

The news; during the first trial of the horrific heretic and traitor Imre Nagvar the judges read the charges to him, and he full of lies and heresy questioned the judges' authority and claimed he was a God and that mortal judges had no authority over Gods. he then swore to bring a "bloodbath of purification over Bardar, to cleanse the nation from the millions of sinners that oppress the people". The guards then gave him a good beating for these shameful and sinful remarks and added "Contempt of Authorities" to the list of his crimes.
During the second day of the trials the judges decided he had pleaded not guilty and asked the prosecution to bring forward witnesses. Survivors of the massacres directed by Imre Nagvar and his eight closest lieutenants. The witnesses described the horrific events and asked the judges to deal Holy Retribution on the sinners and their sinful families. The judges promised to honor that good and holy request. Next one of Imre Nagvar's men took the stand and witnessed that "the sinners and traitors has to be purged for this nation to become pure and just".
The third day of the trial the judges in their honorable and just ways convicted the traitors to a public torture and execution. The lawyers that had taken care of the National Syndicate's defense were asked to go to the temple and purify themselves from the pollution these men had given them.

The records of the trials will be sent to your foreign ministry. About your plans to reeducate the children, that wouldn't work. it would be to teach them not to be Bardarians. We couldn't do that, we can't deny our nationality. In our culture you have to avenge your relatives if someone kill them. These children would have blood oaths on the Bardarian government. They just couldn't be allowed to live.

Hmm. We see. The records are quite fair. We now have only one single issue, just one issue, and we will leave you alone...

Why did you have to stone them?

Could you not just have shot them, hang them, use a lethal injection, maybe throw them off a tall building?

Instead of giving them a slow death, why not a quick death instead? Surely the people with blood oaths could have shot them just as much as they could shoot them.

Stoning is an important way to punish criminals in Bardarian culture, it allows victims of crimes and relatives of those who has been killed to actively participate in justice, and to give the pain they feel to the family they have a blood oath against. It's an over 1000 year old tradition.
