So the premise of this thread is a group of individuals, the "Adventurers", who go around the Galaxy investigating strange stories, myths, legends etc, with the promise of treasure, wealth (all the usual trimmings) etc. If I do get enough support i'll put a Adventurers Guild thread up tonight. As far as i'm concerned, there's no limit on what you can have in terms of equipment, powers, vehicles etc.

She is the sister of Lieutenant James Grayson, and is an Evolved Human with the power of Invisibility.

Well, technically anyone can. If you have a good idea, pitch it to the group and we'll roll with it - since they're doing it for their own reasons, there's really no limit; City Of Gold, Missing Scientist, Dead Planet etc.

Overall look: Normal enough, looks like the ruggedly handsome guy next door except for the crimson skin. Most often Errant is dressed in a loose white shirt, blue trousers with a yellow ring on each leg, and a well-worn leather jacket.

Notable marks: Errant has more than a few scars, mostly blast wounds and some deep lacerations. He's been lucky to avoid facial scars. Most all of the scars are concealed by his clothing except for a burn scar on the back of his right hand.

Personality:

Errant is an odd duck. Long ago he decided he'd grow older but not grow up. He acts like a person in his mid-twenties when at rest and among friends. When things get serious, his actual age and maturity set in, carrying himself like a much older man. Errant believes that anything with sentient level intelligence deserves to be treated the same. That's why he ensures his droids, Etin and Viper, is treated as an equal. He gets really torqued if they get treated badly.

At rest, he likes to laugh and make people laugh, especially through harmless practical jokes. He is a softie deep down and will help out whatever the problem. He likes to talk to about anyone that'll talk to him. He has a lot of friends and acquaintances because of this.

While he does like people, he is just as comfortable on his own. He can wander off into a nice secluded place for days and be perfectly happy. He can and will do this because he's generally a people person and a loner at the same time.

It's important to remember that Errant is not a Jedi. He will attack with and in bouts of his emotions. He will do his best to avoid violence if at all possible if not, he is more than able and willing to fight. He will try to end the conflict as quickly and painlessly as possible.

Abilities:

The Force: Errant is not a Jedi Knight. He is a Force Adept from a sect of his mother's people, a Carafel Firaxi. As a Force-sensitive, he can call upon and is guided by the mystical Force. It grants him a wide array of abilities. Unlike most Jedi however Errant does not have much skill in telekinesis. That can affect other skills as such Force Jumping and easing a fall from a great height. Errant’s skills center around telepathy-based skills as most Zeltron Force sensitives do. This is Errant's area of strength from inducing fear in enemies to mind tricks.

Errant has two unique abilities in telepathy. One is a Force Battlenet. It's a level down from the legendary Jedi Battlemind. Most telepaths can communicate with a few minds; Errant can use his Battlenet to link many minds together over great distances for instant communication. However, while doing this Errant cannot focus enough to pull off any of his other Force abilities.

The other unique ability has no real name but allows Errant to separate his mind from his body. In the midst of this technique Errant moves around as a Force spirit, anchored to his body. His body decays a twice the normal rate it would normally. Were his body destroyed, Errant would be trapped outside his body like a ghost. This ability has a derivative that allows Errant to force someone's mind out of their body. However, Errant has only used each ability in combat or under duress once. They require a lot of strength and focus.

Empathy: Errant's mother was Zeltron. This race is known for their incredible empathic skills. As the entire race is empathic and any negative feelings make them feel bad as whole, the race evolved into a hedonistic culture. Errant gained his mother's empathy. He enjoys pursuing his pleasures but figured out when to buckle down..after quite a bit of trial and error. The Force has revved up his empathy giving him the ability to feel and project emotions over great distances. At times, Errant can also use his empathy to feel the intentions and urgings of the Living Force, a sort of willful entity that dwells in the eddies of the Force.

Damselsense: A strange interaction of his Force sensitivity and his empathy has produced something Errant calls his damselsense. He can feel the distress of female from distances. There are factors that affect how strong his damselsense is in different situation.
1. The better Errant knows the damsel in distress, the stronger the damselsense.
2. The more damsels in distress, the stronger the damselsense.
3. The longer the distance, the weaker the damselsense.
4. The damselsense of a particular damsel is affected by the damsel's level of consciousness. A wide awake damsel is stronger than a sleeping one. A sleeping damsel is stronger than one that is unconscious

Flight: Errant is an ace pilot of many, many years. He has experience in many different classes and types of spacecraft from fighters to freighters, transports, and smaller capital ships. He mainly flies his personal freighter, an YT-2000 named the Cerulean Dream.

Weaponry: Errant is a crack shot with his MerrSonn 434 DeathHammer heavy blaster pistol and a number of other projectile weapons. He carries a vibroblade in his boot. The vibroblade is a wicked little knife that has a blade that reciprocates hundreds of thousands of times each minute. His weapon of choice is a wire whip called an incara that Errant imbues with the Force to give it a resistance to most forms of energy, allowing it to go up against lightsabers and deflect blaster bolts. On occasion when things go to Korriban in a small woven receptacle, Errant carries a violet bladed lightsaber and wears white armored gauntlets that hide a pop-up vibroblade. These are the only thing Errant has left of his birth parents.

Pheromones: This is one of Errant's lesser known abilities; mostly because he hardly ever uses it. His mother's species, the Zeltrons, are able to actively produce and release pheromones at will. Since they are a hedonist planet with no military, this is their main line of defense. If an invasion force ever landed, a planetful of Zeltrons would exude pheromones that would effectively turned the most battle-hardened soldier-monk into a willing party-boy. Only two races have been known to resist these pheromones.

Errant is only half-Zeltron so he has a slower production of pheromones. He can put out an effective dose once every day. However, this limitation doesn’t keep Errant from using it. He doesn't like it because it takes all the challenge out of manipulating people to go his way.

Mandalorian: While the non-human half of him is Zeltron, the human half is not the holo of normalcy either. His father was a clone commando tasked endeared with Mandalorian precepts by the Cuy'val Dar. He and Errant's mother were killed when Errant was very young, and as a result, Errant was raised by a close family friend of his mother's. However when he reached majority and dealt with the woman who murdered his parents, he decided to pursue the heritage his father would have wanted him to know. He was put in touch with a Mandalorian his adoptive mother knew well, Ruug Mira'ade, patriarch of the Mira'ade allit or clan.

Errant had to prove that his mandokar, that he has the right stuff, the "he epitome of Mando virtue - a blend of aggression, tenacity, loyalty and a lust for life." A year or so and a battalion of shadowtroopers later, Errant proved himself to his clan and new family, earning the right to make and wear his beskar'gam, the iconic suit of Mandalorian armor.

Stance: The O'Holy Credit, the Most Dreaded Boredom, and the Chance to Meet New and Exciting People

Trademark Equipment: Other than her highly developed Heuristic processor and vocabulator that has the ability to speak any language, E-10 has two repeating blasters hidden in her lower arms. The charge for these blasters is very small, but they are mostly designed for a holdout defense.

Powers (If Any): Advanced mathematics, Thuroughly versed in over 6,000 forms of communication, More physically able than the average organic of her size, Near immortality with frequent backups, and The ability to transfer herself programming to other chassis and computer systems.

Stance: She goes where Errant goes, also in it for new gambling venues
Background: Once, E-10 was Errant's nanny droid. Well-loved but not-so-well obeyed, she had to develop sentience just to keep up with the little mongrel...little child. As Errant grew, her duties and needs changed, from nurse to nanny to companion and now to partner in crime and mischief. E-10 still takes Errant's wellbeing to heart and she frequently nags after him when she thinks he is not doing well. Beside her primary programming, E-10 has developed a penchant for games of wager and skill, enough to be labled a card shark and banned from the cansinos on Bespin.

Trademark Equipment: No single item of trademark kit, but rather an assortment of strange and interesting devices picked up over his travels. Closest things are: something that looks like a gold-rimmed monocle (but isn’t), what looks like a silver hunter’s pocketwatch (but isn’t), and a hipflask that ferments most liquids into some form of alcohol for when things get desperate.

Vehicles: VS Idle Victory, a converted space yacht and the usual paraphernalia you’d expect to come with it (air car, escape pods).

Powers (If any):
‘Generally a good chap’: This is a somewhat peculiar passive psychic ability that manifests itself from time in members of the Ventish aristocracy. Basically...he seems charming. People like him, even if they don’t have a clue why. This ability probably explains how a fair chunk of the Ventish idle rich have managed to survive this long.

‘Damn lucky fellow’: Exactly what it says on the tin. Rather unfortunately does not extend to cards. Again, probably explains how he’s managed to survive so long.

‘Bloody good blood’: It’s funny...he doesn’t have too much in the way of brains, few qualifications (although they are from damn good places, wot?), but he does look jolly good in a position of authority, doesn’t he? Another passive psychic ability that effectively inspires just that little bit of extra awe in onlookers when he does something brave/downright stupid/gets dressed up properly that makes them think he’s the right chap for the job, especially if that job involves taking over some sort of primitive culture.

Stance: Fame, fortune and to avoid getting a real job.

Background:
Harry (Feathers to his friends) is a fairly standard product of a certain type of Ventish family, well educated at Sennelm School and Veibridge University and with altogether too much money. His father is some lord or another and is some sort of admiral, and his mother is a socialite covering her husband’s back at Court.

A Grand Tour of the Ventish territories across the stars somehow ended up with Feathers becoming a sort of gentleman adventurer, and a surprisingly good one, managing to discover a previously unknown primitive alien species, civilise them a tiny bit, and persuade them joining the Ventish Empire was a fantastic idea.

At some point he’ll have to get a real job of some description, apparently Pater (that’s ‘Dad’ to most of us) has arranged some sort of commission for him, but real work? Not for Feathers!

Nondescript, wears a dark three-piece suit and bowler. Always around, always attentive, disturbingly attentive. Gentleman’s gentleman highly recommended by the Agency. Somewhere between mid thirties and early forties.
