An old manor that had simply been the home to an aristocrat was slowly becoming the bastion of the medieval revival as groups of people from the kitchen workers to distinguished guests began to make their ways into the cordoned off room at different times and with differing levels of fanfare from those already present. While a kitchen worker would simply be shuffled off to the kitchens to do whatever work had been set aside for them, an aristocrat would be told that the feast would begin in a while and that he may share some light snacks with his spouse if he had wanted. The wealthy men and women of Cloverford were pouring into the room with their fine clothing and their well raised children following them from behind. Government ministers followed the men of wealth with their tuxedoes and dresses and then came members of the Cloverford Defence Forces who decided to wear their uniforms at this feast to show off their love of their duties. A medieval orchestra took their positions in the room as well with their instruments at their sides. They looked the part and were being paid to act it as well.
Decorations showed off messages of welcome and good will to the guests who would inevitably see them as they walked into the ballroom and the flag of Cloverford hanged proudly along with a flag that showed off the coat of arms of the House of Plantagenet which had ruled Cloverford for centuries; the Reigning Princess had only been one of many monarchs who claimed direct descent from this old medieval house before it had its schism. As everyone was preparing themselves for the feast whilst welcoming Damien Aghion as he entered the ballroom, Princess Zelda was at her hillside castle where she was changing into a lovely evening dress and getting her hair done so that she would look presentable for the feast. As she got dressed, she would see her faithful German shepherd watching her by the door as he did plenty of times. Zelda's canine friend was ever-so-faithful and he would always be around to see her whenever he could. Before Zelda got into the limosuine waiting outside, she told a friend she had among the butlers to make sure the shepherd had his food. She stroked his head before getting into the vehicle which sped off towards the site of the feast.
The ballroom had, by then, already been filled to the brim with all the guests and with the workers bring out the food and beverages to the rowed tables at which the foreign guests could have their fill. Families were gathered at tables, children were running around, and security guards were poking fun at their colleagues. Trumpeteers and the carriers of flags were waiting to greet the Reigning Princess when she arrived and the seat where she would sit, explictly reserved, would be waiting to have her seated upon it. It took a while but soon she had arrived with everyone cheering and bowing from the members of the Legislative Assembly to the little toddlers that gathered around Zelda with their adorable mumblings which loyal patriots translated as patriotic greetings. Zelda took her seat and soon she had been greeted by Aghion. They talked, discussing their wishes concerning the feast, while the first foreign guests would be trickling in.

"Happy you came along?" Woff asked Rathma as they came to the steps of the manor from the walk from the airport. The pair were in their traditional red and black uniform alongside with their slouch hats. They had their longswords safely locked away in their holders which was safely hidden under their cloaks.
"Its either this or listen to Amy talking to me about how I should use my R&R days," replied Rathma as they walked up the steps to the manor front doors.
"Haha," laughed Woff as they stopped for a moment. "Before you go in, loosen up a bit. Remember your manners and...I was about to say keep your eyes peel but that doesn't apply," joked Woff. "Ohh yeah, listen to everyone,"
"Now I know why I didn't become an ambassador," laughed Rathma as they waited for a moment outside the manor to be shown inside.

Elena Elijah was reading an interesting article in The Avavi Post, the national newspaper of the Elijah Islands, about defence policy and the Abraham Isle. The general vibe from the public was that the Elijahs should invade the ISAI, reclaim the isle and kill all the militants who had started the entire thing. Despite the peaceful, how-about-we-solve-this-through-words-first status of the government, the populace were like bloody Americans, in COUNCIL's opinion. The Prime Minister, Elena Elijah, wondered why her Koset codename was COUNCIL.
She was in her armoured SUV, driving it by herself. She didn't want to be treated like a bloody princess as Prime Minister, and the Koset didn't say a word. However, two Koset guards, armed to the teeth, sat in the back seats, still as leaves on a calm day.
As she parked at a nearby parking lot, she admired the castle. Her home was a mansion, yes, but this castle was huge. The Cloverfordians were true aristocrats.
She stepped out of the car, and started walking towards the castle, with the two Koset guards behind her. Both male and twenty-four, she suspected they wouldn't be too happy if told to disarm. Luckily, she had a concealed Browning 9mm to fight off any possible threats, and she had trained in the Army.
The white limousine, despite it's outward appearance of being something you could by from a civilian dealer, sported bullet-proof materials on jus about the entirety of it's body (including the windows) and had extra low-profile tires. Said limousine carried President Zigana Saáry, Vice President Aliz Gyarmati, and four members of the White Shield. Actually, Zigana had partially lied in her letter: only bringing two members of the White Shield. The other two men were actually members of the Black Guard but the two White Shield members didn't know that. Zigana was adjusting her light brown hair at the bangs while the rest of it was secured in her typical pony-tail when the limousine began pulling up to the castle. Zigana watched it's towering walls until the limousine slowly pulled to a stop and the doors were opened. Zigana and Aliz stepped out of the limo with their four guards.
As Zigana slowly approached the front door with her four, suited men with sunglasses and her vice-president: she spoke.
"Remember boys, look neat and official." Zigana said, almost for herself given how nervous she was at talking to this new nation.

"Now I know why I didn't become an ambassador," laughed Rathma as they waited for a moment outside the manor to be shown inside.
It did not take long for some greeter to be sent over to welcome Woff and Rathma to the feast with some generic welcome that he simply learned to recite in the hopes he'd secure his salary's presence in his bank account. As the greeter led the two men from Lynion into the ballroom, they were greeted by the butlers who held trays of fine snacks of varying kinds accompanied with the usual formula. They were told that they may sit at one of the tables and relax as they enjoyed the musical stylings of the medieval band or that they may talk to the locals such as those local women who looked at them with curiosity marked all over their faces. As Rathma and Woff had walked inside, a rather buxom woman in a lovely evening dress walked past them with a small smile before her attention had been caught by the food table; some of the children also looked at Woff and Rathma with curious looks and inaudiable whispers.
"We hope you enjoy your time here, gentlemen." The greeter said simply before rushing off to greet Elena Elijah.

Although he would have to admit that Elena Elijah certainly had some pretty good bodily features, it was his belief that he dare not try to let her think he was some sort of pervert especially when he was working for Her Highness' Government. How embarrasing it would be to read, in the newspapers, that a lewd pervert was stalking a pretty prime minister only to end up being assailed by her bodyguards. "It is a pleasure to have you here, Miss Elijah. Please correct me if you are actually married. Follow me to the ballroom."
What had happened to Woff and Rathma was played out for Elena with no deviations at all; she had been told she could sit at a table, she was watched by the locals, and she was offered some light snacks. Some of the local men kept an eye upon Elena since they viewed her as a potential dance partner on this prestigious night. These men were handsome, gentlemanly, and well endowed. If Elena was not into men, though, perhaps she could find a woman here. You never know what could happen.
If Elena looked, she could see the Princess of Cloverford taking a sip of a clear liquid that must have been wine or at least something alcoholic and refined. She was certainly beautiful, flanked by stern security guards, and was simply watching everyone else in silence.

"Remember boys, look neat and official." Zigana said, almost for herself given how nervous she was at talking to this new nation.
The greeter sent himself out to greet Zigana and Aliz with the same formula that he had used upon Elena and the men of Lynion. He had found himself to be looking at female leaders the most so far so he decided he would try to restrain that little dirty side that he had kept hidden for his own private reflection. Guiding them both into the ballroom and past the butlers with their typical would-you-like-some-snacks routine, the greeter told them that they could talk to anyone they wanted including the Princess of Cloverford who he pointed out for them although he told them that diplomacy ought to be handled by Damien Aghion who could be seen laughing with some mustached gentlemen as they stood under one of the flags that showed off the coat of arms of the House of Plantagenet. It was well known that Damien Aghion was not only an ardent nationalist but a devoted Anglophile as well. Anyone who knew him could tell you that he had been a supporter of those movements that argued for an Anglophile interpretation of Cloverfordian nationalism.
"Do as thou wilt but keep yourselves in line." The greeter said with a smile.

"We hope you enjoy your time here, gentlemen." The greeter said simply before rushing off to greet Elena Elijah.
"This is nice," smiled Rathma as he sat down with Woff at a table. "Is this how you get treated Woff?"
"This, this is more of the fancy diplomats that try and win points with other nations," replied Woff as he noticed their hats were still on. "You need to take off your hat Rathma," pointed out Woff as he removed his slouch hat as he placed the emu feather down more.
"You wanna take bets?" suggested Rathma as he noticed the children were looking at them.
"Give ya a hundred if a shelia picks you up," offered Woff as he took out a piece of paper and wrote a note to himself.
"Done deal," replied Rathma. "200 if they throw me out."
The game the pair were playing was often a reaction. Due to Rathma being firmly 'locked' in his werewolf form, he can no longer change back to his Human form, thus, it was often hard for him to fit in with the foriegn nations. However, it has being noted that sometimes, Rathma has had his luck with the females but it can never be depended on. It has also being noted that Rathma has being thrown out of the room from time to time due to his appearance.
"I'll get us something to eat," smiled Woff as he left the table to get the pair some food.
Rathma was taking mental notes about the appearance and soon, the reaction of how people were going to treat him. He looked at his glass on the table as he drank the cool water for a moment. Rathma was looking around as he noticed the princess was sitting on her throne. It made him sigh briefly before looking down. He can't remember the last time when the offical wasn't sitting on the throne. His attention was quickly taken away when Woff returned with his plate of food. It wasn't filled but it was filled just to make them feel full.
"Who's the girl with drink and sitting on the throne?" Rathma asked as he started to eat his dinner.
"The one flanked by guards?" replied Woff as Rathma nodded back at him. "That's Princess Zelda. She's the head of the kingdom and rumours are going around she's engaged," finished Woff as he ate a mouthful of dinner.
"Security seems light," pointed out Rathma as he glanced around.
"The scamps are still here," replied Woff as Rathma quickly glanced around at the children standing around as he waved at them before going back to his dinner.

The children that had been looking at Rathma were all mixed on how they should handle gazing upon the appearance of this foreign guest. While some of them rushed away in fear that they could become Rathma's next meal, a few actually stayed behind and smiled as they studied him as if it were cool to look like him. Kids, after all, had varying standards of what it meant to be cool. Some of the women who were passing by, gorgeous and well dressed, briefly stared at Rathma as they walked. Perhaps they assumed he'd be a fine man with that werewolf energy bottled within him but that could have been just a carnal assumption. Perhaps, in some distant country in the world, they had a belief about how lovely it would be for a woman to be banged by a werewolf or some similar creature.
It did not take long for the Princess to notice that she had a man like Rathma at the ball she was hosting in conjunction with the Prime Minister of Cloverford but when the security guards asked her if they should have him kicked out, all they got from Zelda was a smile. "Retain his presence in the ballroom. I don't see any reason why he should be kicked out. If he does something we consider to be improper then you may do whatever you wilt with him. Until then, treat him with respect."
The Prime Minister simply relayed the same message back to them when he had been asked by guards who didn't really know if their monarch's words were acceptable to the leader of those ministers in the legislative assembly.

A greeter's work is never done until the last man leaves home with his belly full and the last woman leaves with some token of love from some man she danced with. The greeter who had so far greeted all the other foreign guests noticed the Imperial guest waiting to be guided. Assuming his position, he took up arms and went at it with the usual formula of a welcome followed by a pointing out of people he could talk to. "Make yourself at home but not literally of course."

Elena ordered a glass of water, rather than the wine which had destroyed her mother's life. She grimaced as she remembered her mother, in the hospital, dying...
"Remember I love you, Elena," she had said to her then 19-year-old daughter.
"I love you too," replied the young Elena, before her mother passed.
No. She couldn't mess up in here. She held back the tears, but it stung her eyes like a bee had stung her yesterday. She would leave the remembering for later, but now this was her as Prime Minister, somehow.
Why the hell had Ami quit?
Why had her father started drinking?
Where the hell was Daniel Moses Hasson, Junior?
"Stop thinking, you idoit! she screamed in her mind. "This is not the time!
She sipped her water, and the guards disbanded under her orders. Then, she noticed the men and women. A few young men were looking at her, along with several women. Clearly, as they said in Britain, 'eyeing her up'. She remembered then how dumb she had been during the teenage years. Instead of chasing after boys like her friends had done, she had studied hard, passed all her exams and became the youngest Prime Minister in the history of the Elijahs.

One of those men happened to be one of those officers you'd find sitting in some military division with nothing to do other than to constantly review his comrades with a strict regimen of training and awareness tests. One of those women happened to be a girl who was imagining herself in a one night stand with Elena. Everyone who was looking at her from the carnal or at least romantic viewpoint had their stories to tell. It was a woman who decided she would talk to her and, as it turned out, it was the one night stand girl. She had to adjust her busom, accent her cleavage, clear out her mind of imagined scenes of her and Elena in the swing of things and, of course, introduce herself to Elena.
"You must be Miss Elijah. All of Cloverford has heard of your recent rise to power in the islands. My name is Sarah. Care to talk?"
While Sarah was busying herself trying to seduce Elena, one of the men was watching them with his comrades close around him and with his hands in his pockets. This man was James Bloodsworth and he had been quite influential in Cloverford for his work in the political realm as a high up official somewhere in the Principality's hierarchy of ranks and titles and he looked quite handsome in the eyes of plenty of women. He was looking at Elena, studying her, wondering if she was a lesbian, and deciding he'd talk to her once she was done with Sarah....but only God knew what Elena could end up defining "done" as.

Sarah smiled. "It's not uncommon to have news of political changes in other nations be heard about in Cloverford and so forth in that fashion. It's one of the top political stories heard here as I recall; next to that conference with Zaheran, your ascension to power caused quite the commotion. Perhaps, though, we may deviate from politics. Tell me about you, Miss Elijah. Don't tell me about your political beliefs for now...but tell me what makes you who you are. What makes you tick?"
The military man smirked. He wondered what message he could obtain from Elena.

"I'm actually deeply interested in music," explained Elena, sipping her water. "Not pop, of course, drifting towards the more heavy metal and world music, along with most genres."
"You are into heavy metal? That would be quite interesting to see the newspapers if they heard that you were seen headbanging to some metal band having a concert in Avavi. I'm into all sorts of music and I rely on how it interests me rather than what genre it is. If it's good then I'll listen to it."
"I'm also into football, or soccer," remarked Elena. "I've attended all the Elijah Islander matches and Avavi F.C. matches since two thousand and five."
Sarah began to drift into the dirty side of her mind again. She was imagining Elena in the shower room after having some time on the soccer field....but she couldn't let that awesome and sweet vision distract her lest she lose her chance to make her visions into reality.
"Have you ever played soocer, Elena? Your figure would testify to me that you've been doing something athletic at the very least." Sarah said; trying to restrain a grin which she did with ease. She didn't want Elena to find out her motives just yet.
"I don't actually drink, whih is uncommon among women from my country," added Elena. "No wonder the public weren't half suprised when former PM Ami Hasson was nearly ran over by a minicab. I believe he poured twenty glasses of everything, whiskey, beer, the lot, then drunk them all with an interval after five drinks, when he downed a gulp of cider."
"Alcohol is best enjoyed in moderation, Elena, and one should never indulge in it like they would never want to indulge in food. I can tell by how you look that you must be certainly health conscious because women who don't care about their health wouldn't have such amazing figures....I wouldn't be surprised if you've got a man back home waiting for you....or a woman. If you're a lesbian then that really wouldn't matter to me (OOC: Of course it does!) because some people, in my opinion, just like different things. It's like a kid who goes to an ice cream parlor and finds that while some like chocolate ice cream, other children partake in the other flavors."
Sarah giggled. "You don't need to tell me about such things if you don't want to, Elena. I don't want to end up making you....uncomfortable if I end up digging into what you do at night. Let me tell you about me, though, since you'll probably want to know more about me. I'm a wealthy woman, via the medium of inheritance, and I've been working in business for quite some time; I've been thinking of taking a break from work, though, and traveling so I can have a vacation. Perhaps I could visit Avavi, who knows? The world certainly has plenty of interesting places to visit. I'm sure some people would visit your nation just because of you. After all, who knows...I'm sure some people would be, in the confines of their houses.....enjoying you if you get my drift. Anywho, do you have anything you want to talk about?"

"I'd be interested in seeing them perform if it was possible. Are you one of their devoted fans, Elena?"
"Yep," replied Elena. "Attended all their concerts since two thousand, bought merchanidise, even met them a few times. No VIP stuff, though."
The dirty thoughts came into Sarah's mind again as she spoke to Elena. "I'm not surprised to hear that you're quite devoted to exercise and so forth with that gorgeous body of yours. One can only look upon you, in awe, and wish that they were you or that they had you as a wife or at least a lover or a one night fling. I wouldn't be surprised....if you've gotten plenty of proposals."
"Thank you," replied Elena, smiling. "I have to say, you are beautiful yourself. You ever played anything like soccer, swimming, and the like?"
"I'm single as well but I've been thinking of finding someone to get attached to....." Sarah said as the feminine charm began to kick in. "Don't you, Elena, just wish that you found someone to cherish for even just an hour?"
"Same here," charmed Elena. "I've also wished for that..."
"You'd really get me a holiday home? That would be an honor but it'd probably be out of your own pocket since the taxpayers wouldn't like their hard earned money being spent on me and, indeed, rumours could end up flying around if you get my drift. Anyway, I'd love to visit Avavi if it's possible."
"I can pay for anything from a small apartment to a mansion," grinned Elena. "Politician wage, seventy thousand."
"Perhaps you'd like to go outside, Elena? I think you'd like to see the garden. The host who gave the rights to use his home here has kept it well and I'm sure you'd be interested in seeing the wonders of nature masked in the night. Shall we?"
"I would," replied Elena. "Which way out, Sarah? I was escorted in, and I can't remember the layout of this castle."
OOC: Let's just see how this conversation leads. Who knows....it could develop into a full blown relationship unless you're aiming for having the straight female leader who just wanted to know how it felt to differ from the mainstream. ;)

"Yep," replied Elena. "Attended all their concerts since two thousand, bought merchanidise, even met them a few times. No VIP stuff, though."
"I'm pretty sure that, if I asked, you could tell me the names of all the members along with some interesting facts about them. Such is the power of devotion."
"Thank you," replied Elena, smiling. "I have to say, you are beautiful yourself. You ever played anything like soccer, swimming, and the like?"
Sarah noticed the emphasis that Elena had put on the word "are" and guessed that her dreams could soon become reality if Elena had, herself, been inclined to being with other women instead of with men. That only made Sarah more happier deep inside.
"Same here," charmed Elena. "I've also wished for that..."
Sarah smiled. "So did I....so did I...."
She looked into Elena's eyes for a moment. "Perhaps you'll find that someone tonight....you never know."
"I can pay for anything from a small apartment to a mansion," grinned Elena. "Politician wage, seventy thousand."
Sarah returned the grin. "A mansion would sure be nice.....but I'm sure whatever you could give me would be quite.....adequate."
"I would," replied Elena. "Which way out, Sarah? I was escorted in, and I can't remember the layout of this castle."
Sarah smiled. "Just follow me, Elena, and all shall be shown."
Once the two women had been away from everyone else as they entered the gardens which certainly looked beautiful in the night, Sarah stretched out her hand and began to gently take hold of Elena's hand. If Elena turned to look at her then Sarah would simply smile and hope for the best. They walked down the gardens, seeing the flowers, and enjoying the fresh air of the night. Sarah began to wonder about where the one night stand ought to take place and decided it'd be best to start it at the castle and end it at her own place. Perhaps they'd even fool around in her limosuine during the drive. Who knew? All that would matter, though, was that Sarah could proudly say she slept with a national leader....although she was beginning to feel attached to Elena. She wasn't like other women she'd ogled before. She had something more to her. After a while, Sarah stopped Elena in her tracks and looked into her eyes. It was time to conquer her heart. "Elena....you look....beautiful. It'd be a shame if such beauty was neglected."
The eyes begin to close, the heads lean in, the lips perch, and will all be well?

The fourteen year old Henry loved to tease his eleven year old sister in good old fashioned games of sibling antagonism and he didn't feel the need to restrain his urges during the feast as he chased after her in the hopes of provoking her to cower in fear before his epic awesomeness as he'd often call it. As he ran after the younger sister he deeply cherished, past guests of varying sizes and ranks, he noticed that his sister had ran straight into the Imperial officer before falling down onto the ground. She didn't mean to collide with him. She had turned her head on that split second and, well, you can easily get what happened.
She looked up at the officer and uttered an apology before turning to her brother to give him a look that suggested she was both nervous and angry with him and about what happened. Children were allowed to attend the feast but not all the children were just going to sit around and be little angels.

Zigana could almost laugh at how Aliz and her four body-guards looked. Being a former Major in the Ursavian KGB: a lethal branch at it's peak, he carried himself with a stiff back and a grim face when he didn't have to talk or show any other sort of emotion. Meanwhile the two secretive Black Guards and the White Shield members wore combat-boots, quite amusingly, under the legs of their black suits and sunglasses. Besides that they wore dark gray ear-buds and all-in-all it made them look like members of the Secret Service. Zigana looked around, wondering where the cultural guide she had requested was or if there was somebody was on their way. Meanwhile, the two Black Guard member's felt uneasy with all the locals around the two most powerful political figures of Ursava and thus tried to keep everybody around them in check while the four guards walked at any one corner of Zigana and Aliz. Aliz on the other hand, the unnofficial fifth guard of the group, was simply enjoying the sights while both he and Zigana found a table and sat down.
All six people: the four guards, Aliz, and even Zigana herself were all carrying fire-arms hidden on their bodies. One could guess that old habits died hard from the 40 Day War.

OOC: One should imagine such things with their NS characters. I'm quite able to do romance stories but, indeed, this one's not the focus of this thread. That's the feast's position. ;)
It had been a dream come true for Sarah as she began making out with the Prime Minister of the Elijah Islands with their tongues dancing and hands moving all over the place and nothing could have been more sweeter than to know that this wasn't a dream but that it had been real. They spent about several minutes at the game of kissing and so forth before Sarah stopped Elena in her tracks. "Let's go to my place, Elena. We can do much more there than we can here."
Sarah goosed Elena with a grin upon her face before leading her to the limosuine where the chauffer had been quite surprised to see Sarah with Elena but he didn't question Sarah's intentions. It was possible that he merely assumed she was a lesbian, bisexual, or simply curious. He just got into the car, not knowing that his passengers were making out in the back, and sped away towards Sarah's place where the one night fling would be consumated by Sarah passionately ravishing the lady from the islands and vice versa. When all was said and done, after about an hour, Sarah looked at Elena and smiled. "You were wonderful, Elena, but did you want to go back to the party or did you want to stay here and.....talk? Want another round of love?"
Sarah smiled. This was so great. She wondered if this would be the only time she'd see Elena if that plan to get her a mansion would not go through. Damn, she thought. She'd lose a fine woman indeed.
OOC: Elena's more than welcome to come back to the feast. Feel free to show Elena's newfound feelings. ;)

OOC: Assuming there was airport arrival, and therein skipping to the feast.
IC:
Someone might suspect that national leaders and commanders of a foreign nation would arrive via some classy aircraft or rotary transport. Imagining a modified 747 with some kind of presidential seal on the side, and perhaps top secret modifications to make it nearly impossible to shoot down. Even some kind of heavy-duty helicopter like a Chinook that was modified for leadership use. These things, and perhaps more, were indeed left to be expected as a single Bell UH-1N Twin Huey landed and unloaded Chief Governor Johnny Standford and Chief General Oscar Vladinchi to participate in the looming feast. An LHD Carrier off the coast of Cloverford had offered the launch point for the UH-1N, hours prior a C-130 Hercules had landed to unload a single SUV of the Explorer variety. Both transport craft had left as quickly as they arrived, and Oscar led the Chief Governor to the Explorer and entered the driver seat, driving away from the airport.
Johnny sat in the passenger seat, contemplating the days happenings. The recent construction of a Joint Land/Naval/Air base in Leistung had boosted the international military response time a good bit, and added a place for Leistung and Anagonian soldiers and officials to meet without fear of enemy oversight. A few skirmishes in unknown regions had offered Johnny a good read, and some updates on Internal Affairs for Anagonia had gifted the Chief Governor a respite from delivering the annual State of the Republic speech until yesterday evening. Other than that, paperwork and politics. Oscar noticed when Johnny sighed heavily, gazing over from the road for a moment to give a puzzling look.
Johnny Standford began combing his black hair back once more, a new habit of his formed through the tedious hours of work he had to do in a single day. Compared to Oscar whom stood six feet and eight inches, Johnny was a moderate six feet and one inches tall, with average frame and green eyes. He maintained a brown two-piece single-breasted suit with dark-blue tie. Professional and diplomatic was Johnny's style, currently getting ready for the feast and the inevitable hordes of foreign citizens that would either talk to him or look at his representation of his country. He gazed at Oscar and shook his head, noticing the look Oscar gave at the corner of his eye.
Oscar fashioned a crimson three-piece business suit with a matching crimson-stripped tie. His eyes were hazel, frequently changing color either due to mood or situational awareness. Oscar's body framed in a more muscular fashion despite the obvious gray hair combed backward and aged expression of 60-something. His mustache was brownish-gray and heavy as he chuckled remembering old times, and previous Chief Governor's whom he tutored just as he did Johnny. They all ended the same way, combing their hair to pass the time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
They arrived, having their Explorer SUV driven to a parking space. They entered the Manson, admiring the sights along the way, and entering the feasting area going to a single corner to discuss Anagonian Politics alone.

After President Kotenko had arrived at the party with the KGB director and an aide, they almost immediately went to get refreshments after greeting people at the door.
After taking a sip from her drink, Viktoria said to her company:
"Ulya, Ivan, go enjoy yourselves. It's really just a party, after all. No need to look like a statue..."
Ulya sighed "I suppose you're right... hey, where'd Ivan go?"
"He's probably chatting with people, as usual. I swear, he talks more then the whole staff combined..."
As they had suspected, the aide was indeed talking to random people, fully enjoying the time off.

Sarah had been cuddling with Elena under the cover of the blankets as many couples would do after their hours of passion and occassionally she would kiss her upon the lips and other parts of the lithe body that Sarah craved. "Elena....can I go with you to Avavi? I'm sure your private jet could handle one more passenger.....right?"

"Zigana..." Aliz said, sipping at a cup of water "...one of the people who just came in from Chernobyl..." Aliz was watching the man with his peripherals "...in my time with the KGB I believe I may have met him once." Aliz finished.
It wasn't supposed to be a warning, just a statement. Then again, it could be a warning because if the man from Chernobyl-Pripyat's had ever read later reports on him (shortly before and just at the start of the 40 Day War) he would know that Aliz had become very anti-communist shortly before dissapearing without a sign of where he might have gone. Zigana wasn't worried however, she knew that even some crazy person from a communist country wouldn't try anything at a place like this.
"I think those security blokes are being caustious around you especially since their princess is here," pointed out Woff as he finished his meal and pointed it out to Rathma.
"I think its a bloody insult kicking out a Lynion. Its racism or spiecism," replied Rathma as he finished his meal.
"What happen to the last guy who attempted to remove you?" asked Woff as he took a sip of wine.
"I told him it was an insult and he buggered off when I told him I've eaten another person who tried to throw me out," answered Rathma.
"Did you really eat him?"
"No, I tend to find some humans very tough," finished Rathma as he looked down on the children still hanging around them. "Hey kids, its rude to stare now run along now," concluded Rathma as he turned to Woff. "Do you think she'll mingle with her guests?"
"Doubt it," replied Woff. "Some monarchs are iron fist rulers and won't give a hint about their subjects. Then again our monarchy is more unique. Vamp actually talks to the people of Lynion to get an idea of whats it like to be a subject and see how he can change it,"

(OOC: Christine Lind Friedrich used and referenced with Wagdog’s permission)
Royal Airforce One, a Modified Boeing 787 Dreamliner with all the trimmings had touched down at the Cloverford International airport; where Molly and her companion had been escorted by men almost twice there size in height and built like Soviet Era tanks with arms and thighs like tree trunks. Dressed in finely made, custom black suits complete with tie and shades they were the typical MIB secret service, they were armed of course with shoulder holstered DAC-99’s a doomani weapon of all places, the requirements had said ‘side arm’ and iI was certainly compact enough to sub for a side arm a fact was and Animarnian armed forces used it as such.
The Limousine motorcade trip from the airport was quick and prompts and with some chatter between themselves, Molly stared out the window at the passing buildings as they made a transition from old style medieval buildings to the glaring neon eyes of skyscrapers looking down upon them almost like passing from an old city into a new one.
Molly was dressed in a long black silk and velvet dress. The Skirt with pleats in the lower quarter and a built in push up corset that enhanced her cleavage but still left a lot to the imagination while hiding all the bits it should, It was somewhat a Victorian look. Molly’s coppery red hair up and braided at the back into a web in a spectacular display of artistry. Her Companion, one Christine Lind Friedrich, was wearing a shorter black all in one number with a kept neckline and knee length skirt and with a tricolour Wagdogian Sash, concealing the sword belt. It was the one that she had got from her encounter with the former Vetakan president Roxanne Wright, though Molly knew little about that from the stories she decided it was better that way. As they pulled up the secret service detail acted very professionally securing the local zone of control and escorting the two of them inside where they were met by another man this time Cloverfordian.
“Hello, I’m Miss DeLèan, and this is Miss Lind Friedrich”, Molly said while she presented her and Christine’s invitation; “We’re Expected” she added.
Now they waited for him to instruct them where to go, all the while looking very pleasant, polite but giving off the air of importance. The secret service constantly on the look out for potential danger, paying close attention to the man, even in ‘friendly’ or at least neutral nations there were still threats everywhere and people who would not hesitate to take a shot at the visiting dignitaries. .

The castle feast had been going exactly to plan in the eyes of the members of the Cloverfordian Government who could be found all around the ballroom such as Princess Zelda who was actively talking to both guests and the workers. She hadn't been known to be snobbish towards her subjects but rather she had been known to be down to earth, that is to say, that she enjoyed talking to them and learning about their trials and successes. The Prime Minister did that as well, though, so no one really felt it was a benevolent act merely monopolized by the Crown. The Prime Minister was at one of the food tables with his hands taking hold of dishes that caught his interest. He was a sturdy and robust man, quite handsome, and had been the leader of the ruling government since about six weeks before Zelda's ascension. Damien Aghion was commenting on the armorial of the House of Plantagenet that had been put on the flags that hanged over the guests and local aristocrats were dancing to the beat of medieval instruments or admonishing their children to behave and participate in the fun. All the newly arriving foreign guests such as the ladies of Animarnia and Wagdog were greeted with the standard formula.
On one occassion, it was possible to see Zelda Plantagenet walking past Rathma and Woff's table with her eye briefly catching a glance of Rathma's face which provoked her to smile just a little before walking onward. She didn't know if he'd take that as an acknowledgement of her acceptance of him but she would hope that it did. Zelda was wearing one of those lovely evening dresses you'll usually find only wealthy women wearing and flanking her were the royal guardsmen she usually had around her since she was around eight. When she noticed the new arrivals, particularly those from Ryantopis, she smiled and greeted the King with her own formula in a refined tone of voice. "A pleasure it is to look upon newly arrived guests. We are honored that you were able to attend, King Ryan. I am Lady Zelda, of the House of Plantagenet, the Princess of Cloverford. The pleasure of meeting you is quite present."
The ladies of Animarnia were soon greeted by Damien Aghion who could recognize them from photos he had stashed away in his office of relevant foreign personalities as he called them. With a smile and a firm handshake for each, he said: "It is a pleasure to meet both of you. I am Damien Aghion, Cloverford's foreign minister and I do wonder if either of you would be interested in a chat. My prior conversation just came to a close."
The young girl that had been talking to the Imperial officer had tried the move on her older brother but only ended up being sternly told by her mother not to resort to rough housing in the presence of others but a young officer who was walking by just laughed. "Damn woman, don't you know that kids will be kids?"
The Anagonian guests were greeted by some of the workers who offered snacks and drinks to them as they had with every other guest at the feast. Damien Aghion made a mental note to speak with them and Zelda had walked past their table with a quick formula of "How are you gentlemen doing?" and "I hope you all have a good time" before walking off to talk to the next group of people she had in mind which had been the Ursavans. "It is a pleasure to meet you." Zelda said to both Zigana and Aliz. "One can only hope for a brighter future between our nations."

"No, I tend to find some humans very tough,"
The children had all rushed away from Rathma and Woff but there had been just one child who had been listening to what they had been talking about. She was one of those fourteen year old girls who wore the latest fashions and such but who never felt she had been superior to others just because of the clothes she wore. She didn't know if she had been misinterpreting what they had been saying about eating humans but she felt she had to ask and that, if he did eat humans, that she had to watch out for him. God knows what a human eating creature could do in a place like this.
"Excuse me, sir, but you just said you found some humans to be very tough. Does this mean you.....eat....humans?"

"Good evening." They bid their fellow guests and the Princess.

"You sure you don't need to see a doctor?"
Johnny was motioning his head towards Oscar's right eye, which had went from its normal hazel to crimson red with a slitted pupil. It was something that happened to Oscar all the time, especially when a situation had a lot of emotion to it. He simply refused to go to any doctor, mainly stating time and again that it was natural for him and Johnny needn't worry so much. And this being such a conversation, like the thousands of times before Johnny merely shook his head and shrugged, changing the topic as a few workers came buy and Oscar and he took two drinks and a few snacks.
Oscar lowered his head and placed a hand over his eye, lowering his hand and blinking a few times as his eye returned to normal. Johnny smirked, figuring a long time ago that the reason he never went to the doctor was because the eye was false, and the main reason why he never pushed the issue because of Oscar's objections. Johnny turned his head as a beautiful woman passed by their table, Oscar not really taking note but nodding at her greeting. After they introduced themselves as Chief Governor and Chief General of Anagonia and she left for other conversations, Johnny looked over to Oscar shaking his head.
"Your not getting any of that, Comrade." He chuckled, "I've been living long enough to know a woman who's too pricey for a man of your ability."
Johnny chuckled, "I guess your right. But, hell, maybe she'll be back."

"Hahaha," laughed Rathma to himself. "Eating Humans is a rare thing for a werewof to do. Its usually when we've lost our rations and we found some Humans walking about," explained Rathma. "I'm a high ranking officer in the Special Forces and we often run out of rations we sometimes we eat the enemy,"

"Greetings Sir Aghion," Christine returned the handshake strongly in trust, befitting one between proud and competent politicians both such as they were. "I would most certainly be interested in discussion of..." Christine flustered for a minute, thoughts running along the lines of weighing just how much enforced-formality these Plantagenets of Zelda were or weren't still for after all these centuries in the backwoods of royalty; compared to what Christine thought she remembered of their former height during the Middle Ages at any rate. "Well, whatever you felt most pressing really. I didn't come here only to eat myself full, drown myself in wine and deafen myself in song after all; fun as those are of course!" She was the kind of woman to do all that too, and more, if she let herself.
Whilst talking Christine also saw the Kitsuneville delegation arrive, another group of friendly faces considering standing Wagdian relations with them from some years' back, but figured Sir Aghion would turn to them in full so she simply waved politely and would get to the formalities once fully underway. She herself was also a guest here, no sense seeming to barge in and take charge of the place; there was being friendly, being rude, and being both at once; tricky situation that and something to avoid yes.

Of course, if you would prefer, we may head to one of the tables to have our discussion. Your fellow guest, Miss DeLean, would be more than welcome to participate in our discussion. Perhaps all three of our nations could initiate some agreement? As for song and wine, you'll find plenty of both. She than ran off, looking back for only a moment, before continuing to run along as Rathma wished.
"Kids have a wild imagination," started Woff as he watched the child run off. "I've got a question for you Rathma," contiuned Woff as Rathma looked at him. "How long do you think until the childs parents comes along?"
"Depending on what the child is doing, she might go to the guards and tell them what I've done which then goes to the Princess and I'll be kicked out," laughed Rathma as he watched the women pass by him. "If its the parents, then they may take it too seriously,"
"I think thats whats wrong with society," replied Woff as he thought about it for a moment. "Its all being too serious. I mean when was the last time you ate a human?"
"Never, we just say it because they don't know it," laughed Rathma.

Zelda had been walking through the ballroom with her bodyguards trailing behind in a solemn formation and with the locals making sure that Zelda knew they cherished her presence at the feast. One of those locals happened to be Amelie Poulain who had been accompanied by her military husband. When the three met, they enthusiastically greeted one another with handshakes and embraces and the usual formula of how each of them had been in the last week. Amelie announced to her royal friend that she was pregnant with her third child and that her little twins were running around at a friend's house since it was assumed they were too young to attend. Amelie's husband smiled. "I'm sure they are doing fine where we left them. I'm quite happy to be here, Your Highness, and I'm hopeful for a healthy third child."
Zelda smiled before the three began to walk to the Princess' table where they would sit and discuss whatever came to mind. If people looked, they would see all three of them with jovial laughs and grandiose smiles upon their faces. They took their seats and canvassed the ballroom and its occupants with their eyes before Zelda proceed to speak. "It seems that our feast has produced the fruits of success. I am overjoyed that both of you could take the time to attend. It reminds me, Amelie, of when we were little. Those parties we went to with our parents were so marvelous in nature, so lovely, so enchanting. I am sure we'll have many more feasts in the future, Fortune willing, and perhaps I will be a old and married matriarch by the end of it all."
Amelie nodded her head while her husband was talking to one of the butlers. "I am sure that I'll see you in the royal pomp with man and children by your side and perhaps you'll be luckier than your mother when it comes to children. She only had you, after all, even though she tried to have more."
Zelda nodded. "It's entirely possible I may end up just like her or that I may be infertile and thus unable to continue the line of the House of Plantagenet in Cloverford. We are the last vestige of this medieval house in its pure form. That is something I think we ought to maintain. Perhaps I'll find a man among these guests here but I really don't focus on that. I've never really given my love life any attention."
An aristocratic family came towards Zelda with humble bowing and curtseying before a little girl of twelve stepped forward to give the Princess what looked like a mural of children drawn by students younger then she had been. "My little sister is sick, Your Highness, but her class drew this mural for you. We hope that you will appreciate it."
Zelda smiled. "It certainly is a well made gift marked with the tenderness of youth. It reminds me of when I used to doodle in my notebook back when I was a schoolgirl like you. Please tell your sister that the gift is magnificent and that it shall hang alongside the portraits and paintings created by the legends."
The aristocrats bowed and withdrew while Zelda said these words to her friends: "The objective of a monarch is to ensure the well being of his or her people and not only of himself for, indeed, altruism must be the standard of his reign. It must be the flag which is flown every hour of the day, the sword with which enemies are cut down and the shield of liberty and freedom. It is always a pleasure to interact with the citizens and to learn from them. A monarch who learns from his citizens is a wise one but a monarch who does not is nothing short of a man destined, perhaps, for failure. He who does not listen to his subjects end up being forced to listen to them in the end."
Amelie's husband smiled. "You must have learned much about political philosophy back in the university, Zelda."
Zelda giggled. "No, my dear friend, it is all mere common sense. Besides, I am not the only one who need worry about the feelings of the citizens. Look at the Prime Minister: his future is in their hands. Then again, so is my own."

Johnny Standford sighed softly, gazing down at his PDA and looking at the recent reports from the Homeland. It didn't take long for Oscar to notice, and he abruptly took the PDA away and hid it in his suit pocket. Johnny gave him a questioning look, Oscar merely shrugging. Grumbling under his breath, Johnny retrieved his cell phone and began looking through some messages he received. Once again Oscar snatched that away, and Johnny returned the action with a threatening look. Oscar shrugged again, and Johnny retrieved his other PDA and began browsing the internet on it. When Oscar tried to snatch that away Johnny punched the Chief Generals shoulder without looking up, Oscar rubbing it and chuckling. "Comrade," he said in his rough russian-english accent, "You seriously need to dabble in associating with this crowd instead of merely doodling with the fancy technology." Johnny looked up with a raised eyebrow, "Oh really? Almost everyone here is expecting a leader who is patient enough for formalities. I, my dear Brethren, am not such a leader." He continued browsing the internet on his PDA, "Besides, what chances do I have to meet someone interesting enough to gain my attention?"
Oscar Vladinchi shook his head, taking out Johnny's cell phone and dialing numbers on it. He proceeded to begin to talk to someone over it, and Johnny looked up horrified. Oscar continued to converse with the individual over the cell phone, and quickly snatched the phone and apologized to the person before hanging it up with a click. He snarled at Oscar, and for the next couple of minutes the two began snatching electronic devices from one another until both were so caught up in the new game they created they failed to realize many people looking their way in confusion at their laughter. Johnny was the first to clear his throat, straightening his tie, and smiling at those who thought their little charade was immature. Oscar merely snickered at those people, looking at Johnny.
"See?" Oscar laughed, "You can have fun at social gatherings!"
Johnny looked down, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "Holy Goddess, Oscar, did you seriously intend for us to look like children?"
Oscar shrugged, "Not really. I intended it to be fun."
After a few moments, Johnny looked at the corner of his eyes with a smirk. "Yea," he agreed, "that was fun."
Oscar slapped Johnny hard on the back, bellowing a laugh that only an old man could give. He straightened his red outfit and sat comfortably back in the chair, proceeding to nibble on a few snacks before washing them down with the drink provided. Johnny did the same, and for a time silence came from their table. Everyone's attention whom had drifted to them, proceeded to be distracted elsewhere. Oscar seemed to gaze around to ensure they weren't the center of attention still, and looked at Johnny. "When I was young, my father would take me to court assemblies to learn how to be a civil person." He looked around, as if about to say something so horrible he had to keep it between Johnny and himself. Satisfied, he looked back at Johnny, going in a quieter tone. "And I'd play pranks, lots of them, and get some laughs."
Johnny gazed at Oscar as if discovering a revelation about the universe, "You what?!" he said louder than he intended. Oscar hushed him, "Quiet down, Comrade!" After a moment, "Yes, I did."
Johnny smiled, "I knew beneath that exterior of Rambo meets the Russian Bear you had a mischievous side." Oscar chuckled, "There is a lot you do not know about me, Johnny. A lot indeed." He nodded, still smiling, and sipped his drink thereafter changing the subject. "So, how goes your search for the perfect woman?" Johnny shrugged, "Not so well really. I took the weekend off two weeks ago to try someone out, turned out to be a dud." Oscar merely nodded, Johnny continued. "Seems like every time I put myself out there and invite them on dates, they turn out to be more work than I care for. Hell, two months back my Secretary hooked me up with a blind date."
After a lengthy silence, Oscar raised an eyebrow. "How did that turn out?"
Johnny shook his head, "You don't want to know."
Oscar shrugged, taking another sip of his drink and gazed about the room thinking about something. Johnny noticed, but he allowed his friend to ponder, and went about toying with his PDA. Finally, after fifteen minutes of nothing but silence between the two, Oscar spoke. When Johnny looked at him, he noticed his eyes were red again, but looking out into space as if remembering.
"I once was like you, looking for the perfect mate, the perfect match." He closed his eyes, "I found her, right under my nose. We got married soon after, had two kids." Oscar sighed heavily, and took a drink. When he opened his eyes finally, they were back to normal, and he looked at Johnny. "You really should try to find somebody, you know. You can't be single forever."
Johnny stared at Oscar for a long moment, never knowing the greatest General Anagonia had to offer had a family of his own. He never mentioned it before, and thoughts crossed through his mind. He spoke softly after contemplating, "I never knew you had a family, Oscar. You always looked like a loner." Oscar looked down, a pained expression on his face. "I don't anymore, young one." Johnny placed a hand on Oscar's shoulder, "What happened to them?" Oscar gave a slight smile at the gesture of comfort, but he looked up taking a deep breath. His pained expression gone, replaced by a joyful one, beaming a smile at Johnny as he looked back at him. "Now is not the time for that, perhaps later. Now is your time, Johnny. We should think about that, okay Comrade?" Johnny gave a smile back, lowering his hand. "Sure."
They sat there for a while then, talking about other topics at hand. Johnny would occasionally drift an eye towards the Princess, whom he believed was named Zelda. Whenever he suspected she'd gaze back at him, he looked at Oscar and continued his dabble into ancient history and current events. All the while at the back of his mind, Johnny couldn't get the fact off his mind that the man whom he knew almost all his career, and nearly all his life, actually had a family. He wondered what had happened to them, and why. But just as suddenly as the thought came, he'd finally manage to push it back, enjoying socializing with an old friend.

Molly smiled with a slight blush on her cheeks, truth be told she didn't like these fancy shindigs, give her an Office or a gun any day but ask her to go to a party and things tend to go down hill from there, especially formal Royal things, there had been no Royalty in Animarnia for nigh two centuries, she looked up at Aghion, and noded her concsent along with her companion her smile turning more into a cheeky grin "Of Course I however, did come here to eat myself full, drown myself in wine and deafen myself in song " she said with a laugh; "but of course I can engage in a little diplomacy" she added looking around though still paying attention trying to spot anyone she knew, Central had prepared extensive files on all attendants but none were close friends of her naiton or even trading partners and she felt a little out of place on the whole.
