Dear Ms Laugier —

The national government of Pacitalia, as representative of the Pacitalian people, consistently seeks to build upon the country's internationalist heritage and seek new partnerships with which to extend the Pacitalian ideal abroad.

We judge the situation between our two countries to be such that we must lay down the foundations for a bilateral partnership. Therefore, we agree a series of discussions to develop official ties and relations is more than appropriate in that context.

The earliest I would be able to lead a delegation to Georgetown would be mid-February next year, though I welcome further candid discussion until that time. If you have any questions or requests, please do not hesitate to contact me via telephone or email.

We very much look forward to meeting with our Pacifican counterparts in Georgetown.

Sincera in domina bene,

Vasiliou Bandanaris MPP, RPAg

Secretary Rebecca Laugier’s petite hands firmly held the first official communiqué from a foreign national government forty years ago. The isolationist Scott McKinnon National government dissolved the Department of State after a debacle occurred. Prime Minister McKinnon took it to his death bed for fabricating the story that’s shrouded in mystery.

Prime Minister Wittrock overnight had transformed the country during his inauguration that promised Pacificans change and progress: to reopen Pacifica to the outside world for international commerce and trade. The following day he was declared the savior of resurrecting a extinct department. Prime Minister Scott McKinnon rolled in his grave during that speech including announcing a Pacifiquois woman would be its Secretary. She was pleased with her work over the past two years since being sworn into office.

Laugier quickly brainstormed and dotted down a few notes. She realized that Agustinate Bandanaris couldn’t personally attend formal meetings in Georgetown until sometime in the early New Year. She circled the best option and picked up her phone, “What time is it in Pacitalia?”

Her Office Manager Daryl Tripp answered, “Five o’clock in the afternoon Madame Secretary.”

“Could you see if you can try their International Relations Agustinate, Monsieur Vasiliou Bandanaris?”

“Yes Madame Secretary,” Daryl Tripp. “Is there anything else I can help you with?”

“No. That’ll be all.”
