(OOC: Yes, Post Future Tech. Basically, this is fully open-ended. Technologies allow extrauniversal travel, people live in artificial universes inside of our Universe, and communication is instantaneous. And I'm sorry for sucking at writing.)

Artificial Universe New Earth, Year 29000, 12:00 AM IUHT

Quintillions (OOC: Yes, it's a real number) of people celebrated the new millennium, the resulting noise of which was deafening. Every planet had billions of people screaming "Happy New Millennium!".

Then, a tragedy of impossible magnitude struck.

The "Eyes" saw it first. It was huge, a thousand times bigger than a red giant. And it was headed straight for New Earth.

At first, the Eyes dismissed it as "Nothing Significant". The object was so minuscule compared to New Earth, a mass that could hold 700 galaxies the size of the Milky Way, that it was hardly worth mentioning. Then, the object struck.

As the ball of energy smashed into the hull of the capital of the Confederation, spreading across the imperfectly circular Artificial Universe, lines solidified around it.

And then the Artificial Universe broke across those lines.

As the huge mass broke into a trillion pieces, they went straight for the population centers, destroying everything within a few hours, going faster than light, as though FTL drives were fitted to them.

Soon, there was nothing left of the once mighty structure, other than a few pieces of poly-duranium floating in the void.

A City Block Hurtling through Space

Two bums were standing in an ally, on the edge of the space platform, talking. They had been bums, as had their fathers, and their fathers' fathers, and so on, for about 27,000 years now. They lived in the cardboard boxes that prefabed homes came in.

Bum #1: So you see, that's why I like it here.
*Bum #1 turns towards building, to go to bathroom on it. Bum #2 stares off into space. Big explosion rushes by, due to speed at which platform is traveling.*
Bum #2: Do you see that?
*By the time bum #1 turns back around, explosion is gone.*
Bum #1: See what?
Bum #2: That big ball of light.
Bum #1: You mean a star? I see thousands of them, if not millions.
Bum #2: No, it looked more like an explosion.
Bum #1: You've been viewing to many of the classic moving pictures at the library. It's impossible for there to be an explosion in space, no air.
Bum #2: You didn't see it?
Bum #1: You been eating those mushrooms from the park again.
Bum #2: Nevermind.

Interuniversal News Broadcast

Today, disaster struck on New Earth, the capital of the Confederation of Human Worlds. Supposedly, a huge ball of energy hit it on the outside, and the Artificial Universe blew apart, with the pieces mysteriously going "Inwards" towards the center, perhaps heading for the teragiant artificial black hole in the middle of the universe. Amazingly, the pieces destroyed the black hole, which suggests an attack by a hostile faction. Miners and workers on New Jupiter and New Saturn, in the meanwhile, are demanding to be sent home to New Sol, New Mars and New Venus, causing mass hysteria, paranoia and rioting. Only three survivors of what is starting to be called "The New Earth Disaster" have been found so far. Many have been found too damaged to resurrect. The Supreme Council of Military aboard the Mothership has said, quote, "We aren't going to tolerate this kind of insult, this kind of massacre. Whoever did this will be fed slowly into a stable extrauniversal black hole slowly while being nerve-tortured."

In other news, extrauniversal experiments have seen fruition; however, special materials are required to ensure that particles do not go out of existence when they are exposed to... whatever is outside the universe. The first manned operation is now being planned and full extrauniversal flight should be feasible in another decade. This is Anna Marie Davidson Vladmir Mark Aristole-26 signing off on UNN.

The New Ziolisian Third Fleet was hovering in Universe A-12 (Agricultural 12), it was a small universe compared to what New Earth had been, but it was still sizable. The Third fleet had recently been tracking an anomaly that they had code named BATOF or Big Ass Thing Of Energy. The BATOF or anomaly had appeared then left into the Abyss (what the ziolisians call the space between universes). Sentry Cyborgs had reported an energy discharge as it slipped into the Abyss. The NZCM 3rd fleet was preparing it's Abyss-Ripper Jump-Drives to go into Universe UE-6 (UnExplored).

As the Sentries watched a rip in the very fabric of the universe appeared and the ships went full-speed into it.

It was a very strange feeling to be in the Abyss. Some had described it as being very peaceful and serene. Some had said they had the feeling of dieing, of blood rushing out.

As suddenly as it began it stopped. The battle group had appeared on the outer edge of what was once New Earth. Here they had tracked it from the depths of the Abyss, to this single point in which the anomaly had detonated itsself.

(OOC: New Earth is classified small. Maybe A-12 could be smallish small or largish minuscule?)

The scout readied up. It was half a kilometer long, but each entry port could accommodate a galaxy. As the XT-930183892 engaged it's FTL drive, the pilot checked that she would not somehow, despite all chances, crash into one of the walls. Then, she sped out of New Pluto on autopilot.

The woman inside the ship didn't know what to expect outside of the place that had been her home for so long. What she didn't expect was this. The entire place was red like the sunset on her planet. She was in a megagiant nebula. Her interuniversal autopilot kicked in as she was admiring the scenery, along with her HUD. She felt herself being "stretched" across the universe in all directions as the 10bnlyps drive kicked in. And then, she and her ship appeared near the wreckage of New Earth.

She sped along at 1c*4, looking for clues to the universe's destruction. She was saddened at the loss of lives and three hundred year's work.

But all of her sadness was swept away when she saw active blips on her radar, moving towards her.

The Tempest Keep flowed smoothly through the fabric of space time. The spherical hull of the massive vehicle glistened in the light of a million stars as the Arkanite-drive in the center of the ship warped the very fabric of the infinite universes the ship was passing through every second.

Only 300 people occupied this behemoth. They were living, and had been for the past million years of local time on the vessel, in the only blemish on the otherwise perfect surface of the sphere. These intrepid passengers were on a voyage that would take them outside of space itself, into an inconceivable void outside their universe and any other.

"We have reached the final checkpoint in our journey, my fellow passengers." Announced lead Project Scientist Dr.Martin Sankt over the loudspeaker, eliciting cheers of joy from the others occupying the dining hall. "Finally, after a million years of toil, our venture is about to pay off. The symphony of our voyage is about to reach it's crescendo ladies and gentlemen. Prepare to have your minds blown."

This was, of course, completely true. Tempest Keep, which had been traveling at speeds never before even conceived by intelligent life, was reaching the end. It's destination was a specific point in time and space, a place that would be, according to ancient calculations preserved only in the artificial arrangement of stars by a long dead civilization, the exact epicenter of the complete collapse of the extra-universal structure.

Darkness, Complete, and Utter Darkness

A platform stood, in the middle of Darkness. It sat on a pole, which extended infinitely downward. On the platform, was a structure. It was rather plain looking actually. It was made of wood, and metal. It had windows, to look out onto the lush green garden, and the pond, which fed a stream, which flowed off the edge of the platform, and infinitely downwards, the same as the pole. The building, from the outside, was two stories high. It had a chimney, from which smoke could be seen drifting. The smoke drifted infinitely upwards. The garden was lined with lights, so that one could see it, in the Complete, and Utter Darkness. This was the Void. This was outside the universe. Someone, wondering where the water that flowed of the edge of the platform went, jumped off the edge. Though his corpse has long since decayed, the dust that was his body, continues to fall, at roughly the same rate as the water. It so happened, that today, Miss Penny Marple, was sitting in the garden, in one of her finer Darkness Dresses (Sun Dress), reading a quite interesting book, on thermal dynamics and quantum physics as it relates to the multiverse, and the void between the infinite universes which make up the multiverse. She found it all quite fascinating, wrong, but fascinating none the less.

What has happened here, where is the anomaly we were tracking, are you hostile, what is your nation?

The Battle group prepped it's Abyss-Drives in case the inhabitants of this Universe were hostile.

"I'm just scouting out the area so that the Confederation can rebuild." she said, letting go of her held breath. "The anomaly hit the outer shell, the energy swarmed over the Artificial Universe, and then-" she paused for a moment, "New Earth cracked. We think the anomaly dissipated and also, due to the speed of the pieces, it was probably an attack."

(OOC: Not sure if you were addressing me, or not, it is not another Universe, or an Artificial Universe, or a Universe at all. It is, a void. The space between parallel Universes.)

OOC: Ahh, I see. Thanks for clearing it up. But, I was addressing Ziolis, since he said something about the Abyss.

So, we will start immediately.

Meanwhile the ship AI sent a message to Universe E-16(Engineerium-16).

Moments later one huge WorldShip appeared and began the settle itsself on various asteroids and began to project an energy field that seemed to draw everything inwards.

NZCM Transmission,
Don't worry, just a simple gravitic construction field that we've invented, it draws everything in and the gravity constructor binds materials together to build a semi-circle dome, then another, then it joins them to create a Dyson sphere about the size of 8,000 galaxies.

OOC: I'm assuming you're going to ask how this works, It works because when it mashes the metals together it generates heat which slightly melts the metal and the gravity pulls the melted metal together and space cools it, gravity field needed to temporarily stop space from freezing the metal up instantly.

"Wonderful! With New Earth being Small... That would translate to it being a Largish Large universe! Thank you again- however, I have to continue my mission, to find who was responsible for this catastrophe. Rest assured you will be duly compensated for your work."

Miss Marple's Darkness Inn; Darkness, Complete, and Utter Darkness

Miss Penny Marple found there to be quite a chill in the air outside today, so she kept here stay in the garden short. When she entered the Inn, she could detect the distinct smell of Algernon Epoxy, which could mean only one thing. "Jebediah, you've been messing around with that dagnabed infernal machine of yours again haven't you?" she yelled.
"Nu-o Ma'am," replied Jebediah, though she could tell by his tone he had.
"Now Jebediah, what have I told you about messing around with that thing. Trouble, I tell you what, that's all you'll get from it, a big heap load of trouble. You know better, we just the caretakers, we aren't supposed to be messing around in the machinery room."
"Now, Miss Penny, you know me better than that. I wasn't messing, I was fixing. Something came loose, and I fixed it."
"Really?" asked Miss Penny Marple, suspiciously. "And nothing else happened?"
"Well..."
"Out with it Jebediah!"
"There was this glowing thing that used to be in one of them tanks down there, you know the ones, that disappeared right afterwards, but I don't think it was all that important."
"Jebediah, you know how Mister Jehovah can be, you can set fire to his favorite tree and he'll forgive you like that, but when you go messing around in the machinery room, he gets all sorts of angry."
"I'm sorry Miss Penny."
"Well good, you ought to be. Now go clean yourself up, dinner's going to be ready soon, and you'll want to look your best for when you tell Mister Jehovah what you did."
"Yes Ma'am."

Ba-bump!

OOC: Gah! It ate me post! Anyway somebody try and sabotage me to start something going?

OOC: Okay.

Suddenly, just as she left the system, a little ball, much, much smaller than the BATOF was, started to move towards the worldship.

In fact, not just one, but 40 little tennis-ball sized balls of energy started to close in on the ship, accelerating as they got nearer to the ship, colliding-

And soon, the ship was rendered...

Klaxons suddenly went off as the first ball of energy hit the ship's shielding.

OOC: Hey Beatus are you gonna do something?

The lines of energy spread across the shields of the huge ship as four more hit the ship, making the shields dissipate-

Leaving an easy target for the 35 other balls of energy.

As the shield dissipated the crew was ordered to evac immediately. Millions of Escape Pods ejected with or without crew.

The 35 other balls impacted on the hull and started to creep across of it, ready to make the ship crack apart in a single moment.

The ship imploded towards the gravity generators in the center. A fantastic explosion and pulse wave followed. The Pods were all obliterated.

The ships repositioned themselves and short-warped to the location, and found a huge asteriod.
