Hasson steps down as Prime Minister, Elena Elijah choosen as new Prime Minister.
Just hours ago, the popular Prime Minister, Ami Hasson left office for family reasons, choosing, radically, the extremely young Deputy PM Elena Elijah as the new Prime Minister, bringing comment nationwide and most of it in her favour.
Elijah, just 29, is extremely popular among the youth of the Elijahs, thanks to her charisma and common touch. She was a major force during the 2006 Elections, seriously assisting Hasson in winning 57% of the votes. However, the Socialist Party and other have branded her 'far too young' to 'even have a position in government', something she and the Democrats dismiss as 'living in the past'.
"The Elijah Islander population is thirty-five percent under forty," said Elijah earlier today. "That is just over one third of the population, making up the majority of the Elijahs. The second is education; in which she has decided to invest in majorly. The education system has been brought under debate in recent months, with the Socialists wanting 'no private or grammer schools', to which the Democrats are firecely fighting with the direct opposite of the Socialist arguement, basiclly 'have a fair balance of private and nationalized'.
