Along the northern coast of Northam, there's a chain of islands called Hell's Deep that were believed to be a place of great evil. Then again, most people regarded it as nothing but a simple myth yet none dare go there. It was said it was a stagging place somewhere in the Spirit Realm between Heaven and Hell however, most people believe it’s nothing but folk lore.

Boarding School

Along the northern coast is a boarding school for children with no families or have long distanced families. Among them were a group of four misfits that were more into pranks and horror than they were with their school works. They were called Rachel, Craig, Thomas and Mac. Their ideas sometimes went too far. One of their pranks caused the headmaster to nearly break his leg while another sent shock into a crying boy. It didn't occur to them that they could be expelled from the school. However, the one thing they love doing was proving that ghost stories are nothing but myths.

"That train line is haunted," wailed Douglas who was eating his last bit of meat.

"Ha! It's just the military trying to give a scare to everyone," laughed Craig.

"It’s true! All the trains that have gone down that line have had their breaks suddenly jammed on for no reason," replied a now embarrassed Douglas.

"Boo!" shouted Mac from behind Douglas.

"Ahh!" wailed Douglas who was now scared out of his wits.

"Anyhow, we were wondering if you wanted to come with us," offered Rachel as she sat across from Douglas. "We're heading out to Hell's Deep,"

"Hell's Deep?" replied a now scared 8 year old child. "That's off limits,"

"Aww..." replied Rachel with a smile.”You could be a real kid Dougie,"

"Who...who...who else is going with us and when?" asked a nervous Douglas.

"Well," started Craig as he looked at Douglas. "There are four of us going including us four and you would make it five,"

"O...ok," Douglas replied nervously.

Midnight
Albany Northern Coast - Hell's Deep Chain Islands

The group of five had forced themselves to come to the coast in their night clothes and had taken off in a row boat. Douglas was the youngest out of the group of five. Rachel was about 11, Craig was 12, Thomas was 13 and Mac was 12.

"How far do you think Hell's Deep Islands is from Albany?" Thomas asked as he scanned the waters.

"I dunno," replied Rachel as she rowed the boat alongside Mac. "I think about 15 minutes at the most," estimated Rachel.

Douglas was sitting at the back, he wrapped his legs with his arms together as the boat softly waded over the gently waves. Thomas and Craig were taking in turns to throw insults about how scared Douglas was to pass the time. That was before Rachel noticed the main chain island. It wasn't hard to not notice the main island of Hell's Deep Islands. The main island had this massive tower towering towards the heavens. Thomas was the first to set foot on the island followed closely by the others and a now nervous Douglas as their first sight was a battlefield of dead soldiers lying all over the island.

"Wha...what happened here?" whined Douglas as they came across a dead soldier with a radio on his back.

"It seems like a battle took place," replied Rachel as he winked at Thomas. "A battle that will haunt the island!"

"Bahh!" shouted Thomas as he pushed Douglas over the soldier as the group laughed at him.

"Ahh!" screamed Douglas as he took covered behind a rock.

"Reckon this old radio works still?" Mac asked as he reached over at the radio.

"Maybe if you hit and talk into the microphone, you can get some sucker on the other side," laughed Rachel

"Hello!" shouted a young voice over the radio as the operator picked up his microphone. "Who’s there?"

"This is Albany Alpha Base calling unknown source, please identify yourself," replied the operator as he listened to the radio.

"Err...this is Mac calling from Hell's Deep Chain Islands," replied the voice as the operator started to find the source of the frequency. "I'm here with four others,"

"What the hell are you doing on Hell's Deep Chain Islands?" replied the operator. "That's a restricted zone sonny. I'll let you off if you scamp off the islands!"

"We will mister," lie the voice on the other side as the radio frequency suddenly closed.

The operator sighed as he placed the microphone on the stand for the moment. He was taking the graveyard shift alongside his friend Mike and he was enjoying the evening until some kids started to talk to them. He preferred the night shift and he enjoyed the dead of the night.

"Who was on the mic Johnny?" Mike asked John as he handed him a cup of coffee.

"Just a bunch of kids doing a prank," replied John as they drank their coffee.

"Hello..." whined a voice on the other end of the microphone as John flicked his end of the microphone back on. "Where's that nice man that was talking an hour ago?"

"This is Albany Alpha Base calling Hell's Deep Chain Islands Radio," replied John as Mike joined him with another drink. "What's up kido?"

"Umm...please don't be mad," sobbed the voice. "My friends have gone into a tower and they haven't come back,"

"Calm down kid," replied John as Mike started to trace the source again. "What's your name? My name is John,"

"Doug...Douglas sir," replied the voice on the other end of the microphone.

"Ok Douglas, tell what has happened," started John into the microphone as Mike turned on the recorder.

"My friends, Thomas, Rachel, Mac and Craig went into this...tower to look for something," started a sobbing Douglas. "I waited outside and they didn't come out. I don't know what time it is and its getting scary," sobbed Douglas. "I've seen this lady wonder around the tower and she's calling my name,"

"Poor kid is scared out of his skin," whispered Mike.

"Doug, take a deep breath," started John. "I'm going to change channels and talk to the military and see if they can send someone to pick you up. Keep talking and the recorder is going to be picking up everything your saying," explained John.

"Please...please don't leave..." whined Douglas as the channel suddenly changed.

"This is Albany Alpha Base calling Northam Guerrillas," started John as he changed channels for about 20 minutes. "We got a problem down at Hell's Deep Chain Islands. We have a child standard on the island and can't escape. I'm requesting support to go out and find him and rescue him,"

"Err...This is 501st Guerrilla calling Albany Alpha Base," replied another voice. "We just got your call about ten minutes ago. We can send two full choppers within two hours,"

"Copy that and thanks for your help," thanked John to the operator on the other side of the microphone before he signed off and then tuned into the frequency that Douglas was on. "Hello Douglas, we got people coming," started John as he waited for a reply from Douglas. "Hey Douglas, can you respond?"

Douglas repeated his message a couple of times before Mike came in with the recording device in his hands. He looked to be in shock as he sat down quietly still in shock. He placed the recording device on the table as John continues to find the frequency the boy was on when they talked. John stopped the messages as he turned off his microphone.

"This message can be picked up by anyone if they have a powerful enough radio and frequency channel," explained Mike as he played the message.

"This recording was recorded on the 3rd of December, 2010," started the standard message before a boys voice took over.

"...that's why I enjoy chess," started the recording as Douglas started to calm down. "I can't see why everyone has to bully me just because I'm different. I've being to two different schools already and when I came to this boarding school, I managed to make friends more quickly than the others. I don't know why there are bullies. The big people always seem to be enjoying it," Douglas stops for a moment and takes a deep breath before a rustling noise could be heard in the background. "I've sort of lied to the nice man on the other side. I sort of went inside the tower," his voice starts to fill with worry. "I...there's all this blood on the walls. *sobs* I cried and screamed before I ran out," Douglas starts to sobs as the rustling noise comes closer. "I don't wanna be here anymore. I just wanna see my mummy and my daddy. I want to feel mum's warm hugs..." Douglas suddenly stops as his voice weakens for a moment before the message continues. "I can see her John. I can see her coming out of the tower. Please...she's coming for me..." the message suddenly stops before a soft sobbing could be heard.

"This is John of the Albany Alpha Radar and Radio Base calling on all frequencies, if there’s anyone out there, please respond,” started John into the microphone. “We just lost contact with a boy known as Douglas. He last call from Hell’s Deep Chain Islands. If you have had contact or heard the boy, please respond to me. It’s important that you take extreme care when you arrive on that island...” the radio suddenly stops as static takes over the frequency. If there was anybody listening into the message, the next part was just about to send a shiver down their spines.

“Douglas,” started a sweet female’s voice. “Oh... Douglas my sweetie. Where are you? Why have you left me alone? Why have you forsaken me?” The channel is finally swamped by static and the messages have finally stopped.

OOC: the very last paragraph is done by a female’s voice is meant to sound like the person who keeps saying this in a movie I don’t know the title to.

"Get up soldiers!" shouted Lieutenant Tash as she hit the sides of the bed to wake up the gurellia's. "We've got a serious issue on our hands and we can't afford to get this to the public. Do you get me?" shouted Tash as the soldiers stood to attention at the front of their beds.

"Ma'am yes ma'am!" shouted back the gurellia's in unisim.

"I want everyone in full gear and out to the helipad within ten minutes!" ordered Tash

"Yes ma'am!" replied the gurellia's in unisim.

"We'll be taking a couple of Lynion's to view the operation and I don't want a bloody stuff up or everyone is going to do a full days worth of drill!" snapped Tash as she left the barracks.

Tash took her rifle and swung it over her shoulder as she was escorted by a guard to the Lynion's section. She scanned around at the passing soldiers as the night fill were changing the guards. She may be a beauty to the officers, but she made sure she gave the soldiers hell when it came to drill and exercises which made several of the soldiers slightly scared of her. She came up to the Lynion barracks as she took notice of the barracks she was meant to be going too. She found a nearby guard and turned to the guard.

"Guard, I'm here to see Vamperial Headmaster Lee about a situation that has come up," started Tash.

Is it Lee that are with the Lynion's or is it someone else?

Off the Coast of Albany Northern Coast - Near Hell's Deep Chain Islands

The Beatusian Fishing ship, technically should not have been there in the first place. They were quite a ways within (Northan? Yorkian?) waters, with out permission. However, they're fathers had done it, and no one seemed to notice, so they assumed, it would be fine for them. Maurice Jones was on duty in the wireless room, when the transmission began. He became quire concerned when the military got involved. At that time, he called the captain over. Captain Jeremy O'Brien, was the oldest, and most experienced sailor on the boat. His father had been a fisherman, before the civil war, and many a times, young Jeremy went on trips with him, missing school, and other things, his father though frivolous. Now, at age 16, Jeremy's father had been proven right. He now had a multitude valuable skill, that were in high demand. When he arrived, the transmission was coming up on the point where the boy's voice stopped. When the womans voice came on, it sent a chill through both the captain, and the wireless operator. Jeremy had a choice, the military was on it's way, according to the transmission. He looked over some charts, and found, they were very close to the islands in question, when or if the military came, they would almost surely be detected, at their current location. He saw two choices, either they could try and run, full speed away from the island, and get out of (Northan? Yorkian?) waters before the military arrived, or they could move closer, claim they were investigating a distress call. As badly as the radio transmission had scared him, he favored moving in, like they were a responder. They had no idea which way the military would come from, and if they ran, they ran the risk of running straight into them, and there would be no talking themselves out of that one. Once he made his decision, he gathered the who crew, all six of them, on the deck, and informed them of the situation. "Men, about fifteen minutes ago, we picked up a transmission, form a nearby island. It was, apparently a boy, who got himself stranded on an island. Anyway, the military is responding. Our proximity to the island, means that it is very likely we will be detected, when the military comes. Therefore, we are going to move towards the origin of the radio transmission, and attempt to help. Hopefully they will think we came from international waters. Judging by our proximity to the island, there is a good chance we will be the first ones to arrive. I don't know how this is going to go down, so get your guns ready, when we reach land, we are going in armed." The boat was now moving, at a moderate speed towards the island. Neither Jeremy, nor the men, knew what lay before them.

"I'll get the Headmaster lieutenant," responded the guard.

The guard knocked on the door quietly as the door was opened slightly. He was nervous when it came to talking to Lee. Not that he was a cunning commander, but his ideas were sometimes radicual. He pass through the hallway as he came to Lee's private room. He knocked on it a couple of times before Lee opened the door.

"*Yawn!*" started Lee as he looked at the guard. "Better be good corporal!" started Lee.

"Sir, we got a problem and Lieutenant Tash requires you to join a Search and Find Party over somewhere sir," explained the guard.

"Was she in a good or bad mood?" asked Lee.

"She looks like hell," replied the guard.

"Right, I'll go with her by myself and make sure Commander Riggs takes command while I'm gone," replied Lee.

"Yes sir," finished the guard as he left.

Lee quickly got himself dressed as he took his customised MX8 assault rifle, his pistol and his sword. He placed his sword against his belt, his rifle over his shoulder and his pistol on the other side of his belt. He came outside and found Tash waiting for him. He glanced around as he tied up his boots shoelaces before nodding at Tash.

"Alright, I'll come with you," started Lee. "Get five AU-1 gunships up in the air and circle around it a couple of times. tell them to find anyone attempting to escape. If anyone resists, damaged their boats and call in a Blackhawk to remove the sailors," explained Lee as he walked with Tash to wherever they were going too. "Increase the radar range and keep an eye out incase the Loyalists have returned again,"

"Yes sir," replied Tash as she checked her customised MP5 in her hands before putting her left finger against her ear piece. "We need a squadron of AU-1 Gunships and a pair of Tomcats Interceptors and Lancelon Fighter Jets to recon Hell's Deep Chain Islands,"

"Copy that Tash," replied a firm voice. "We'll be about 20 minutes before we'll be over the islands,"

"Copy that. Tash out," finished Tash as she escorted Lee over to the helipad.

As the pair arrived at the helipad, they found 40 Gurellia's ready to board the four Blackhawks. They were armed with the new K-36 Assault Rifle, Nighthawk pistol and one bayonet to each man. Tash smiled as she gave the order to board the Blackhawks when her and Lee boarded one of the choppers. The Blackhawks took off quickly as they soared over head. The base wasn't far from the chain islands but the pilots weren't going to rush in. They kept their eyes open as the AU-1 rotorless Gunships wizzed past them alongside the jets. The lights came on as the gunships had seemed to have found something in the water. The blackhawks ignored the gunships for a moment as they quietly landed on the ground.

"I want everyone to fan out but keep yourselves in sight of each other," ordered Tash as she jumped out of Blackhawk when it landed.

Lee was ushered out of the Blackhawks as they went to the skies and started to dart around to keep an eye out. Tash gave sign orders to move up as one of the gurellia's knelt down. He was looking at something lying on the ground when Tash came over to the man.

"What is it soldier?" Tash asked.

"This is the radio the boy used," explained the soldier as he turned on his flash light for a moment. "But the boy isn't here,"

"Blast!" muttered Tash as she looked at the massive tower in the centre of the island. "Hmm...we'll have to check the tower. They would've gone into there,"

"Lieutenant, we found something heading towards you on the water," came a voice of a pilot as the gunships pass over them. "This is AU-1 Gunships Tango Squadron calling unknown boat. Identify yourself or we will treat you like a hostile! You are now in a military zone!"

Maurice heard the helicopters, long before the radio transmission was received. "We are the SS Narwall, a fishing vessel, that is responding to a distress call from a nearby island. We wish to render any assistance we can." While Maurice transmitted this, the boats engines were cut, however, it was now within yards of the islands shore, and there really was no way of stopping it from drifting towards it. The men were standing on deck, they were now carrying their guns, which ranged from M14 and M1 Grand rifles, to M1911 pistols. Jeremy had not chosen his crew randomly, most of them, had fought with him in the civil war, and those that had not, had been boyhood friends, who were also experienced sons of sailors and fishermen.

Lee was ushered off the chopper as he gazed around at the battle ground. He could tell that one of the sides was the Loyalists but he couldn't make out the other one. Lee was about to have a look before someone found the radio the transmission was made from. He quietly walked over to the dead radio operator and he quickly took hold of his rifle and checked it for the moment. Lee looked at the radio and noticed a few things about it before he turned to Tash.

"Lieutenant," started Lee. "Who were the combatanments of the battle that took here?"

"Lieutenant, they want to help with the search," replied the pilots voice over the ear piece as Tash looked at the tower.

"Tell them that they can help us but they're going to be questioned later," ordered Tash as she stood next to Lee for a moment.

"Ok strangers, the party is a couple of minutes east of your position," the pilots voice stated to the fishing boat.

"Loyalists and Democratic Forces waged a battle here and the Democratic Forces defeated the Loyalists," explained Tash. "We'll wait for the others to arrive before we venture into the tower,"

When Maurice reported the conversation to Jeremy, he was wary of the locals. When the boat was close enough to land, one of the boys, Kevin, jumped off, and tied the boat to a tree on the shore. Then, the rest disembarked. To be safe, Jeremy left two of the men, Robert, who was 15, and George, who was 14, to take cover in the bushes near the coast, just in case. Jeremy and the other four men, kept low, and slowly moved towards the tower, using the darkness, shadow, and cover to their advantage. They still didn't know what was going on, and who was on the island.

Tash gave out orders that half were to stay outside and watch their escape route. The remaining gurellia's formed two squads and ventured towards the tower. The tower reminded Tash of that tower from Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers except it was much taller than the one from the movie. Her eyes darted about as something felt strangely wrong about the Tower. Tash came to the main door which was slightly opened enough to fit one person at a time.

"Keep two men out here to keep an eye on our escape route," ordered Tash as she went inside with 18 of the original 42 men with Lee following them. "We need lights people," shouted Tash as she was handed a touch.

The main enterance of the Tower was filled with paintings of...children. However, every painting was the same theme. The child was hung from a butchers holder with the spike coming out of his chest. Their torso was bare and their legs were torn off. However, in every picture, the children (both boys and girls) seem to be dying when the ppainting was created.
