Greetings from Don Alphonse Capone III:

To all my new friends in Nation States, I would like to invite you all to Corleone to celebrate our newly formed country and region. The Kingdom of The Capones successfully broke away from the old regime of the Mustache Petes when we assassinated Don Frankie Stunado in the pork store over on 23rd street.

Just let us know who's coming and if you're gonna come packing, please, just one gun, eh?

regards,

Don Capone III

Tiberius Griffincrest looked over the invitation and smiled. It had been some time since he had done anything, and his last job in Hobson city was noyhing more than smuggling and paying off the cops. Perhaps this "Don Capone" could provide alittle more excitement for him.

Him and a group of well dressed body guards all made their onto the jet black Lear jet Tiberius owned, and took off. It would not be long before they were in the Kingdom of the Capones.

"My Don, I have on the screen a small private jet on the outskirts of Corleone."

Don Alphonse Capone, the third of which bore that distinguished name, glanced at the screen. "Hmmm, I see we have visitors. I do not recognize the image on the tail."

"Shall I contact our 'friends' to scramble their jets to intercept?"

"No, Luigi, I have a feeling these visitors are here for the Festa. Alert the cumpare at the airfield."

"Si, Condottiere Capone."

The plane touched down smoothly on the runway at Corleone Airport. The doot opened up, and a large man in an expensive suit and an ear piece made his way down the steps to the ground. After quickly surveying the area, he spoke into his headset.

Moments later, the other men emerged, and they too came down to the runway. In the middle of the group of men stood Tiberius Griffincrest. He was a thirty six year old man, rather handsome, with a very expensive suit and a clean cut goatee. He looked around, and waited for the Capone delegation to meet them.

A large private jet flew away from Sasha heading toward its destination. On board was Webster, in charge of the most powerful of all the mafia gangs, the Sasha Mafia. He had a few bodyguards with him that were harden by street battles with other gangs. After hours, the plane began to descend and touched down. Webster quickly exited the plane, with his bodyguards following him.

As the two Cadillacs pulled up to the Lear, Tony spoke into his sleeve mic. "OK youse guys. Heads up here. Dese are VIPs from anudder country an' da Don want 'em treated wit respect, capische?"

The Capone soldiers held open the doors of the sedans, faces impassive behind the mirrored sunglasses. Tony Facciabello, capo of the Family, bowed to the impressive gentleman at the bottom of the Lear's steps.

"Sir, in the name of Don Alponse Capone of the Kingdom of the Capones, I welcome you and your people. If you would kindly get in da cars, we'll take youse for a ride to see da Don."

Tony was beginning to get a little nervous. A second jet had touched down and several people were exiting the aircraft.

"Gotcha, boss. On my way." Giacomo DeMuro, Tony's right-hand man, hurried over to the Sasha-Greali delegation and smiled broadly. "Bueno Fortuna, mi amici. Welcome to our little Kingdom. The Don is most anxious to meet wit youse at his villa."

Salvatore "No Nose" Santese checked all the security arrangements one more time. Even though there was peace among the various Families of the region of Corleone, it was a very recent peace. For many years there had been war: the Capone's hit the Bonannos, the Bonannos hit the Brunos, the Brunos hit the Scorcezes, the Scorcezes hit the Capones.....on and on until the eldest sons of the Bonannos and the Napolionis were killed in seperate incidents.

Don Napolioni called for a sit-down meeting of all the Families. After many days and nights of discussion, a plan emerged. The plan called for the formation of a Kingdom which would be run by a King selected by all of the Families.

Alphonse Capone III was a young man, not yet thirty years of age. His territory was on the far western edge of the region, so there was not too much involvement in the Family Wars. Any enemy could be seen coming from miles away, so there was little chance of the Capone's being surprised.

Alponse, though young, had a reputation for wisdom and common sense beyond his years. He walked a line right down the middle of all the factions. Not too far on the side of the hot-heads, not too far on the side of the traditionalists. It was for this reason that on the final ballot he was chosen King of the region.

"King Al" was not an imposing figure. Slight of stature, he sported slicked-back hair tied in a short pony-tail. A wisp of a chin-beard lay upon face, his piercing cobalt-blue eyes the most distinguishing feature.

He dressed well. Expensively, but not flashy. No shark-skin suits for this Don. Dark colors suited him well.......they matched his demeanor and his skin color, for he was of a dark olive-skinned people. His gait was measured, like a panther's, silent until he attacked.

His ancestral Family, the Caponii, came from the hills and valleys of the north-west of Corleone. Skilled as hunters, they became experts in the disciplines of stealth and assassination. Guns, knives, poisons, garrotes....the Capones used them all in the establishment of their territory.

Santese halted suddenly as he was making his rounds. Had he heard something? He lightly sniffed the air, and as his eyes widened in recognition, he felt a hand slide under his chin and a blade rest upon his throat.

A low chuckle came from behind him. "Is this how you will protect me, Sal? If I were a Bonanno, you'd be dead." Al Capone released his security chief and Santese was all apologetic. "I am sorry, my Don. My reflexes are not what they used to be. It will not happen again."

Capone looked long and hard at Santese. "It hadn't better, Salvatore. It hadn't better......"

Giacomo had calmed down a bit when the limos pulled out of the airfield and headed towards the Don's villa. There was really no reason to be worried. He had it on good report that Don Capone's new "friends" were always watching, ready to step in at a moment's notice if any trouble should occur. And from what he heard, it was literally a moment that it took them to come to the Don's aid should it be necessary. He wondered, not for the first time, why Capone was keeping his new partners a secret from the rest of the Families. But, it was not his concern, so he concentrated on the task at hand.

There had been little conversation in the limo between the Capone capo and the Grealis. Giacomo kept glancing in the mirror to keep an eye on the car behind them which carried the Blackhelm reps to the gathering.

Shortly, the limos came in sight of the villa. But, calling it a 'villa' was a bit modest. It was, in effect, a palace fit for a King. Which, in fact, Capone was.

The Cadillacs pulled up to the front portico and a dozen guards bearing AK-47s immediately surrounded the diplomats. Giacomo jumped out o the front car and opened the doors for the guests. As the Grealis and the Blackhelms exited the vehicles, looking around as if a bit nervous, he said, "Please follow me to the Hall of Greeting. There will be a place for you to freshen up should you desire to and refreshments as well." He turned on his heel and signalled the guards, who immediately snapped to attention, weapons at the ready............

As the entourage entered the large building, they could not help but notice the opulence with which they were surrounded. The purple, black and off-white hues of the fine Carreran marbles were evident in the floors and columns of the entry-way. Hand-carved statues of various dignitaries lined the way to the Hall of Meeting, itself ensconced behind huge bronzed doors set with a relief of the Triumph of Caesar. Immense, brightly-colored tapestries hung on the walls, each depicting a different era of the Capone Dynasty.

As they approached the bronze doors, they swung in noiselessly, allowing the group entrance to the Hall itself. The royalty and lesser nobility of the Kingdom and the region stopped talking and turned to treat the visitors with polite applause.

At once, waiters and waitresses in the livery of the Royal House of Capone descended upon the guests with drink and plates of delicacies. Giacomo, ever mindful of his security duties, noted with approval that there were three guards for every personage in the room. They were discreetly present, lined along the walls of the Hall.

Within a few minutes, the visitors were chatting amiably with the Kingdom's dignitaries. In due course, an old man bearing the regalia of the Royal Seneschal entered the Hall, stood for a moment, looking around at the crowd until there was a cessation of activity. He then banged his Staff on the floor three times, and with a voice of pride and authority said, "Mesdames et Messeurs. His Majesty, King Alphonse Capone III."
Osteia

A twin engine private jet powered down and a door opened on the side. After docking was complete three men disembarked, two bodyguards and Don Francesco Andolini of Osteia himself. The Don had not sent any responce so to keep his visit quiet, things in Osteia had not been the same sence the war with the Irish quarter had started, same old reasons, turf, money, power, the drug game. Wating in the parking lot was a 2009 Maybach Landaulet, pearl white. The Don entered the car with his two men and they drove to The Capones Villa. Andolini enjoyed the countryside on the way to the meet, the time of the year was beautiful here. The Maybach pulled up to the gates and waited to be approached....

While the Osteians were enjoying their ride, much communication was flying around between the various security details between the airfield and the villa.

"Yeah, Boss, it's Don Andolini himself. No, I 'aint shittin' ya. Him and a couple of his boys. Yeah, don't worry, we got him covered all the way into town. Youse guys can pick him up there, eh?"

Giacomo mused upon this development. Don Andolini of Osteia. One of the oldest Families from the Old Country. One of the few remaining Families of the Old Country. They had managed to survive the Chem/Bio Wars fifty-five years ago and now......? Now maybe they wanted a piece of what the New World Families were into.

He spoke into his sleeve. "OK, everyone. Listen up. Don Alphonse is about to make his entrance. It looks like we may have a few more late arrivals so we need to be on our toes, capische?" He looked around. "Here's what we're gonna do...................."

Sal Santese and two of the advance guards were actually the first to enter the Hall. He looked around and then nodded back over his shoulder.

Alphonse Capone straightened his tie and quickly stepped through the doors into the Hall. All the guests, foreign and domestic, stood and clapped as he made his way down to the front of the dinner table as the strains of "Speak Softly Love" played in the background.

At the head of the table stood a woman go breathtakingly beautiful that most could not help but stare. Francesca Maria della Fortunescu stood next to the Don's chair dressed in a gorgeous diamond-studded gown of white silk which clung to that unbelievable figure like a second skin.

Though Francesca was only half Italian, the citizenry had come to adore her. She was the perfect compliment to the Don's darker personality. Her auburn tresses and pure-white skin set off her green eyes, and her lively demeanor framed her statuesque body.

She and the man standing beside her, Cardinal Carol Fortunescu, were of Romanian descent. The region had not, as yet, officially embraced any formal religion, although some form of Catholicism was held to by most citizens of the region.

As the King made his way to his seat, it was noted by more than a few of the Corleone nobility that two foreign nationals in quasi-military garb followed discreetly a few steps behind the Don. Many rumors had been circulated as to who they were and the distinct possibility that they were representatives of the Don's new "friends".

As the clapping subsided, Don Alphonse gave a short bow and said, "Thank you, my friends. I am honored that you could all attend this little gathering on such short notice." He paused for a few seconds as Don Andolinin made his way to his seat. Capone nodded his greeting to Andolini and continued. "Mi Paisani, there is, of course, more to this than meets the eye. Have you ever known it to be otherwise when I am involved?" A polite smattering of laughter." But, I get ahead of myself. Let us sit and dine. I'm told that Chef Borromeo has been slaving in the kitchens since late last night. So...mangia, eh!"

Three Toyoda Land Cruisers pulled up to the palace. Out of the center vehicle emeried Boss Ken Yoshamada, boss of Tarlags biggest family. Barely looking at the local rulers guards he spoke in a almost dismissive manner "Please announce me to your ruler."

The guards, unimpressed with this Oriental thug and his superior attitude, simply stared at him for a moment until one of them said, "Please wait here, sir, and I'll advise my caporegime of your arrival." He turned and ran up the stairs, disappearing into the building. Less than thirty seconds later, he and Giacomo descended the stairs, walking up to the Oriental man.

Giacomo asked, "If you please, sir, your name and country?" He was guessing this guy was one of the new Yakuza Families from overseas and he was aware that the Don was very tolerant of foreign Families.....much more than he himself was........

Charles was en route from an extended hunting expedition when his secretary, Jane, advised him of a somewhat novel situation. The King read the message over and grinned. "Huh...there's what the world needs. A region whose government is run by a Mafia King." He looked over at Jane. "Think we should go, Jane?"

"Well, your Majesty, that's up to you. You have been away for two weeks and I'm sure the Queen is awaiting your arrival. But...this IS a bit different. Perhaps an extra day away won't make a difference."

"Very well, let's go. Contact these Capones and get landing clearance. Advise them that we'll be there in about four hours. And you will be accompanying me this time, Jane. Your'e better with a gun than I am."

Jane was actually Captain Jane Matheson, commander of the elite Green Commando Unit of Knave's Rock. She was deeply trained in all of the arts of stealth and silent death techniques. "From what little I've been able to read about these Capones, your Majesty, is that they are masters of the Craft. Assassins, infiltrators, spec-ops. Perhaps I can teach them a thing or two, eh?"

The King looked at her gravely. "You'd better hope that they don't teach you a thing or two, Captain....."

Skulls and Bones Gang
08-12-2008, 09:54
The private sleek black leer jet took off from Dublin Ireland. This jet was financed through a large number of dummy corporations that all had ties back to the Skulls and Bones Gang. The notorious biker gang that had gained international notoriety for a number of crimes ranging from gun running to murder for hire.

The passengers onboard were several top representatives of the Skulls and Bones Gang along with some of their closest allies. Danny Connelly the son of the founder of the motorcycle gang was the most prominent wearing his standard black sunglasses with a black leather jacket equipped with Skulls and Bones insignia on the back.

He looked to his left and saw Lono Demilo a Capo in the Garazoni Family based in Palermo Sicily. The man next to him was Vinny from New York City a hit man from the Barlucchi family based in New Jersey.

The Italian men were supposed to represent Danny’s interest considering he was paying them top dollar to represent him and to kill off his many enemies ranging from rival gang members to the occasional lawyer or politician that had a hard on for the Gang’s downfall..

The Sicilian assassins were not sure on their stance with the Capones. The Garazonis were old school Mafiosi and the Barlucchis were American knockoffs that had connection to the Garazonis through a few cousins.

The Garazonis were strict isolations with the other families and often had rivals whacked to avoid complications with territory disputes. The Barlucchis often helped their Sicilian cousins in this matter by sending their own American grown assassins to fight Don Giovanni’s many rivals…

They were not sure how this was going to play out as Danny used his private line in the air to call Don Alphonse….

“Don Alphonse, This is Danny Connelly current boss of the Skulls and Bones Gang. I am heading towards Corleone. I am also with some of my Italian friends’ one by the name of Lono Demilo and Vinny Barlucchi. We hope to meet you shortly…”

The Leer Jet speed off towards Europe with the goal of heading towards Italy to meet King Capone.

Tiberius was impressed with the entire scene, Miss Fortunesu in particular. He soon made his way to the kind and introduced himself.

"I am Tiberius Griffincrest, you may or may not know of my father, Claudius. He is the CEO of Griffincrest Oil Incorporated, the world's largest and most powerful oil company. I'm not here for the oil, however, I am here to discuss weapons. Please excuse me for getting right to the point, but please, take a look at our wares."

He then opened up his suitcase and took out several stacks of paper. Tanks, planes, guns, missiles, boats, drugs, everything was there, all produced by the Griffincrest Corporation, were now being made available to the Capones, for a price.

With a smile plastered onto his face, Don Alphonse gave a cursory glance to the wares being offered to him by the Griffincrest representative. After a few seconds, he said, "Please excuse me, Tiberius. Your weapons are quite interesting, and there is the possibility that you might be able to outbid an offer I've received from another national company. However, at present, I need to focus on my guests. Please, I'd be honored if you sat next to me while the next wave of dignitaries arrive." He snapped his fingers and two servants scurried over with a couple of chairs that were placed on the Don's right.

With Cardinal Fortenescu and the Cardinal's niece on his left, and his two new 'friends' standing directly behind him, Capone now felt secure and in charge once again. He was thinking about how interesting the evening's proceedings would become when....if....these friends of his were identified or introduced. He found it particularly amusing that Griffincrest was looking to sell him weapons.......
