Avavi, Elijah Islands.
8:06pm, 30th November 2008.
Avavi International Airport.
Prime Minister Ami Hasson looked up the sky, as the cool breeze hit his face. He was expecting the arrival of Lady Zelda any minute now, and he knew how important another ally, on the back of Parilisa and several Mediterranean nations, would be to the Elijahs.
Unfortunately, his nephew, Daniel Moses Hasson, more commonly known as 'Daniel Moses', couldn't attend this conference as he was aboard a Hryvatian ship and the Ministry of Defence hadn't managed to contact the Hryvatians over that certain issue. He grimaced. Daniel would just love Zelda.
He stood several metres away from where Zelda and her foreign minister would land, with two guards armed to the bone standing beside him. The recent events in the Abraham Isle had made the Armed Forces crap seven shades of shit, and security had been uppered from a Desert Eagle pistol to fully loaded AK-47s.
"They're be arriving any moment," thought Ami aloud.

Zelda Plantagenet was estatic at the prospect of turning the Elijah Islands into a solid friend of Cloverford and felt quite energetic as she boarded the private jet which would take her to Avavi where the conference would be held. It was also the first time in her life that she would leave Cloverford for another nation and she was energized by that fact as well; Damien Aghion, on the other hand, seemed to be merely calm and lacking her visible energy but Zelda considered that irrelevant in her mind. As the plane set off into the skies, Zelda was busying herself with various things such as hoping her German shepherd would be taken care of at her hillside castle and that the security guards she brought along with her were prepared to fight if needed. The head of her secret service, Samuel Bracewell, stayed back in Cloverford but he had sent highly trained officers to give his liege lady protection. Those men looked emotionless as they sat in their own section of the jet. Zelda had her own section away from all the others and it was where she busied herself with a reading of Whitehead's Process and Reality which she had obtained to stimulate her mind while Damien Aghion, in his seat, would read his notes about the Elijah Islands and their dealings with radical Islamists. There was no way that Cloverford would help them due to the neutrality policy that was enshrined in law as well as a predicted lack of support for such a venture. There was also no recorded trace of Islam at all in Cloverford; no Muslims lived in the land where a traditional brand of Anglicanism was the majority religion. There were small sections of Catholic and Protestant minorities that grew out of non-English settlement but records often showed that Anglicans held supremacy over the Catholics, Methodists and all the rest. Zelda, though, had been publically seen as the most famous agnostic in Cloverford but no one could care less about her doubt as to whether God existed or not save the occassional fundamentalist you'd find in the street.
As the plane eventually landed down on the airport in Avavi, Zelda tucked away her book and walked down the plane with Aghion and the security guards silently trailing behind. Zelda, when she came out, breathed in the fresh air of the islands and smiled at Ami in the distance and so she walked towards him. All would go well, she hoped.

"Hello, Lady Zelda," smiled Ami, bowing. "I trust all is well?"
He knew about the neutrality position, and thanked God that he wouldn't drag another nation into that conflict.
"Sorry about the absence of my nephew, Daniel, who wished to attend," explained Ami. "He was severely wounded during a Scholar operation, and he is aboard a navial vessel. I am sure he would get along well with you."
The breeze coming from the nearby calm beach, the Blue Sea, was relaxing. The clear, cool night was like heaven on Earth, and was part of the reason why Ami loved his job.

Zelda smiled. "It is nice to finally meet you, Mr. Hasson. All is well for me and for Cloverford. Before we proceed, I would like to introduce my foreign minister, Damien Aghion, to you."
Damien shook Ami's hand quite firmly whilst giving off a smile of his own. "I look forward to solidfying a friendship between our nations since, after all, that is why My Lady and I are even present here in your nation."
Zelda looked at the Blue Sea for a moment before replying to Ami's words. "I do not know what a Scholar would be other than one who is charged with intellectual work but I assume a Scholar would be some sort of agent in your nation's lingo. Perhaps, one day, I may meet Daniel. Now, shall we proceed?"

"I do too, Minister," replied Ami, before turning to Zelda. "Scholars are special forces, and the Koset are our chief foreign intelligence agency. Daniel's compulsory service is coming to an end, thankfully. Though, I believe he'll join the Koset."

Avavi, Elijah Islands.
9:01pm, 29th November 2008.
The Office of the Prime Minister.
The office was large, with pictures adorning the ways. Generally creamish in colour, four bookshelves stood firmly in different corners of the room, with a coffee table and chairs around it in the centre of the room. However, this time, a Chocolate Labrador was sleeping in the corner, along with several pups.
"Welcome to my office," smiled Ami, as they entered. "Excuse Daniel's dogs, but they follow me and Daniel everywhere and I'm a softy when it comes to animals. The Koset pratically started an operation whenever they came in!"
One of the pups, quite possibly the cutest out of all them, walked over to Zelda and seemed to grow a likeness for her instantly.

Zelda did not seem to mind the presence of the dogs out of the fact that she owned a pet German shepherd back in Cloverford and when she had seen the puppies that Daniel owned, she smiled and reached down only to see one of the puppies had been quite attached to her which made her smile even more than before as it reminded her of when her German shepherd was the adorable little puppy that ran around her family's hillside castle years ago. "I do not mind the presence of these puppies since I am a proud dog owner myself, Mr. Hasson. Shall we, though, proceed with our venture? Cloverford would certainly be interested in establishing diplomatic relations with the Elijah Islands and Aghion, a faithful minister, shall preside over our part in this conference."

"Yes, we shall," he smiled, sitting down. "Well, I feel I should inform you on the history of the Elijahs."
"Founded in nineteen double zero as a British colony, the Elijah Islands or the Elijahs, were usaully a haven for the Empire's resources, like steel and wood. Whenever we were handed over to Israel in nineteen fifty, the population campaigned for independence, as the majority of the islanders were Christian, and we recieved independence in nineteeen seventy," explained Ami, reading like a textbook.
"As you've probably guessed, our culture is a blend of Western, Hebrew and Arab cultures, and the Elijahs economy is growing greatly," said Ami. "However, there is a dark side; we have severe diplomatic tensions with nearly all Arab nations, especially with Saudi Arabia. We are not diplomaticlly reconigsed by most Arab nations thanks to being a former Israeli territory, which explains why military service is compulsory and our current and long-standing DEFCON three."
"Shall I go on?" asked Ami.

Zelda nodded her head. "Your nation sounds quite interesting to me, Mr. Hasson, but it is certainly different from my own. Cloverford began as the appanage of an English prince during the Middle Ages and through the centuries it gradually attained its independence due to a loss of contact with the mother nation which, in time, had been plagued with its own problems. Being a descendant of that prince, it is my duty to lead and serve the people of Cloverford. Our nation is Anglican by majority but there are still Catholics around who, indeed, have some links to how Catholicism was practiced in the Middle Ages; I, however, am an agnostic."

Damien Aghion spoke this time. "They dislike you merely for that purpose? Let us hope that Cloverford will not be plagued with these Arabs running rampant against us merely because of our association with you. We are a neutral nation, Mr. Hasson, and we do not get into the world's multitude of conflicts. You may go on if you wish."

"We will do our best to make sure Cloverford never gets involved with these fundamentalists," vowed Ami.
"Our territory is that of thirty isles in the Mediterranean Sea, all with beautiful, sunny landscapes with the execption of Mosaiu Isle, which is tropical," started Ami. "Our population is mostly of Hebrew backgrounds, with the largest minority group Arab."
"The state languages are English, Hebrew and Arabic, and the grand population is seven million," Ami further went on. "We are a very peaceful nation, minus the compulsory service, and usaully solve foreign issues through diplomacy. In some ways, we are actually quite neutral."
"Cloverford's neutrality is a great thing, and we will never force the Cloverfordian people into any conflicts," confirmed Ami. "If I may ask, what is the government formation of Cloverford?"

"Let us hope that your best is enough, Mr. Hasson." Damien said with a small grin.
"Perhaps I may one day visit some of those islands, Mr. Hasson, but I will leave that up to the future to decide upon. Cloverford is primarily Anglocentric but with some minorities if memory serves me right. Our nation was founded by Englishmen. It is known that I descend from the Plantagenets which once ruled England because Cloverford was originally an appanage given to a younger son of an English monarch. I am directly descended from that son through the paternal line."

"English is the sole official language of Cloverford although we respect any languages other than English spoken within our borders; we are also a very peaceful nation and we rely upon diplomacy to solve problems. We are also devoted to neutrality which is enshrined in Cloverfordian law."
"Cloverford's neutrality is a great thing, and we will never force the Cloverfordian people into any conflicts," confirmed Ami. "If I may ask, what is the government formation of Cloverford?"
"We are a constitutional monarchy, Mr. Hasson. When I am deceased, my eldest son or daughter, when I have children, shall take the title of Reigning Prince or Princess and hopefully manage the nation well. A unicameral Legislative Assembly is elected by the people of Cloverford."

"I hope you do, Mister Agion," smiled Ami. "Expect land if this conference goes well. Lots of it."
"It is nice to see another nation who puts diplomacy before war," replied Ami. "We seem to be an endangered species, nowadays.."
"Ah, just like the UK, I see," noted Ami, sipping his glass of water. "I'm confident that all your descendents will lead Cloverford well, along with the Legislative Assembly ."

Aghion smiled. "Land? Tell me more, Hasson, about this land you speak about."
"It is nice to see another nation who puts diplomacy before war," replied Ami. "We seem to be an endangered species, nowadays.."
Aghion smiled. "It is essential that one not rush into conflict lest he is willing to be humiliated upon the battlefield. A man who does not plan his fights will only end up fighting in vain and, thus, he fails."
"Ah, just like the UK, I see," noted Ami, sipping his glass of water. "I'm confident that all your descendents will lead Cloverford well, along with the Legislative Assembly ."
Zelda smiled. "I am hopeful that they will rule well with the members of the Legislative Assembly and the citizens of Cloverford; all of them must work together in the spirit of solidarity to ensure prosperity for the entire nation. Is there anything else you wish to discuss, Mr. Hasson?"

"Well, maybe a few acres on one of our islands," smiled Hasson. "And Lady Zelda can recieve double your amount, if she wishes."
"Words of a wise man," smiled Ami. "A very wise man who is long forgetton."
"Well, I believe that relations between our nation are off to a fine start, My Lady," commented Ami. "I believe that our nations will soon be close allies."

Zelda smiled. "This is nothing short of unexpected generosity, Mr. Hasson, and I would not mind having an estate on one of your islands where I may, perhaps, visit when I want a vacation or to get away from the stress of politics. I do hope no problems will arise from any of this, though."
"Well, I believe that relations between our nation are off to a fine start, My Lady," commented Ami. "I believe that our nations will soon be close allies."

"Free every acre," smiled Ami, his famed engaging, relaxing smile on his lips. "Maybe on Baptist Isle?"
"Yes," replied Ami. "The Foundation Hotel, just out of the window, five star. I think Daniel's also got a room in there. Some marathon party with old school friends, starting on the tenth, methinks."
