OOC: Kanami here, by permission and full authorization of Ryou I have taken control of his nation. I want to do this right, which means (yes I'm sorry to some of you) no invasion fleets, or war decelerations! I want to do this diplomatically and right. There's enough war-fare in I.I to go around if you want to go to war. What ever grievances you have had with RBI in the past either forget them and pretend as though they didn't happen or they were small or something, or come and work them out by negotiating as civil nations do. Or should do anyway. And to put it simply if you in your OOC mind don't want to RP with Anime characters or Furries, then DON'T! If your nation is simply hard pressed to accept Furries as living beings and you like the aspect of the RP, I welcome you. NS should always be a game where a player can create a nation to his desire whether he want's to RP Anime, RL, or Halo Characters. I don't need a million complaints and I don't need to justify it.

In the heat of the International Conflict with the Ryou Black Islands, with all the countries stating their clear objectives, with it's Empress in exile as well of it's old guard, it was time for something good to come of all the mess in the Ryou. Kanami, and Kurona (maybe Aqua Anu but that is now up to Mokastana) got together in a meeting to decide how they would handle the fate. Isabella's letter to the soon departing Prime Minister Elenore Romney and the Prime-Minister Elect Karou Kamiah as well as Princess Tomoyo Weaver asking them to see the nation into the future of peace and harmony and democracy.

Ryou has been a long friend of Kanami and Kurona, and it's gotten them both into tight spots. Kanami wanted to see serious change in Ryou as it would determine the extent of it's future relations with the Islands. There was no doubt in anyone's the Islands have had a long and rocky history. A bunch of nomads wanting to assert their voices on the international stage and perhaps getting carried away, piracy, corruption, civil unrest, it would be one hell of a mess to clean up that Romney, Kamiah and Weaver were all surprised any of their Legislative Bodies approved of the legislation.

Ryou would have a long way to go as a transitional republic, not to mention there would likely be old pals to deal with. Money was going to be demanded in some cases. Hopefully these women and others could save this ever sinking ship. The Capital Shai was a wreck as they toured it. Civil unrest had torn it apart.

Thank you for a moderate reply. However we already have, considering the prior agreement, troops and ships in the vicinity of these bases and land that cannot leave. It is our land, defaulted by the fall of the Empire, and given in prior agreements. We WILL not leave, and shall not fall victim to political back washing. If the Prior Ryou Government does not defend our interests, then we will. We don't care who runs Ryou now, or who owns it, or who helps it. For all we care the People of Ryou can rot in Hell for Backstabbing our People. What we care about is OUR land. This land we OWN, and have our FLAG upon.

He sighed as Keneth Marsh, his bodyguard, drove him to the airport and boarded the plane with him. In about six hours, he would arrive in Kanami to discuss the current situation in the Ryou Black Islands. He was hoping that Miroxia would gain some territory through this, even if it was only temporary; and for stabilization purposes. To King Andrew, land was land, but overall, these people needed help.

"Indeed," he said, the limo driving off into the distance of the city. One they hit a large building, they both stepped out and walked inside only to see the Kanami delegation...

IC:
The Totalitarian State of Red Tide had taken no-more then a passing interest in the subordination of the Ryou Black Islands to Kanami. A short summary of information was written up by the State Intelligence Commissariat, was read by some high-ranking bureaucrat, then filed away and forgotten about.

That is, until Anagonia issued its ultimatum.

When that happened, the summary of information was unfiled and examined more thoroughly, before being passed on to those higher-up in the chain of command. Eventually it all landed on the National Secretary's desk, where it was read... and then orders issued.

The SIC was ordered to keep monitoring and informing on the situation, while seperate orders were issued to the Central Armed Forces of the State Command to go through their warplan archives, dig up the warplans involving Kanami and Ryou Black Islands, and update them as nessecary.

Things were happening in the world, and Red Tide was watching.

A C-37A Gulfstream V took off from Duval Air Force Base just west of Coricas under heavy escourt and would fly for several hours before stopping once to refuel and taking off again. After several more hours the plan landed safely in Shai, the former capital of the Empire of the Ryou Black Islands.

Shai international Airport, Ryou

The large Boeing 707 touched down on time and without incident in Shai, on board was her precious cargo of political dignitaries that had travelled the 28 hours from the Holy Empire to the Ryou Black Islands par with Kanami’s hopes and ambitions for the ruined country’s redevelopment process. Stevid had been politely asked by the Republic to help them rebuild Ryou after decades of communist tyranny in which the Holy Empire and her allies had a part of destroying through political means. Isabella had an iron fist, one that the Ryouese detested but could not speak out against- now that she was gone a new democracy had risen from the ashes of tyranny and was now struggling to get on its feet. Foreigners wanted Ryou for themselves after years of war and Kanami thankfully saw Stevid as a country perfect for the job of security and also an ally in the rebuilding process.

The 707 lined up with one of the terminal buildings and the politicians and representatives of certain groups in Stevid disembarked with their security into neutral territory, that is until they’d passed through the airports security- then they were on Ryouese soil. Kanami had sent a few people to meet the Empire’s representatives, among them was the Foreign Secretary MP George Williams. The group from Kanami waited with outside the terminal entrance, security was tight and the press were kept at a safe distance with the local police preventing the crowd from getting closer. The Stevidian dignitaries appeared and suddenly there was a lot of shouting and cameras flashing. Stevid carried a bad rapport in Ryou since they were kicked from the Holy Empire and not too many liked the fact Stevid had a presence in Ryou again, it was a journalists wet dream. It got better for the press but worse for Kanami however.

Williams was greeted by Kanami with a smile, they shook hands and began talking.

“Thank you for inviting yes ladies and gentlemen. My name in George Williams, I have met with Eleanor before. With me I have several civil servants from the Foreign Office, some from our International Embassy and one or two from our embassy here in Ryou.”

Those fro Kanami replied but then their eyes fell on a tall and buffed up man in a sort of brown monks cloak. It parted in the middle but was tied together with cord. People from Kanami had seen people like this before and they assumed the worst immediately.

“Ah… yes.” Williams said gingerly. “This is Brother Captain Kern of the Order of the Knights Templar, 5th Chapter of Stevid.”

A look of mild horror washed over the press and those from Kanami as Kern undid the cord and revealed his white tunic with the red splayed cross, sword and pistol at his side and armoured bulging.

“You needn’t worry.” Williams continued. “Brother Captain Kern is one of the true pacifists in the Order and welcomes the return of democracy and wishes violence is the last thing to come of this political transition.”

“It is true.” Kern said. “My Order’s reputation precedes me but such stereotypes could be proved before they are waved around willy nilly. I am here to help rebuild faith and religion in society. Not just Christianity, but Shinto as the mainstream religion in Ryou, Islam, Judaism or any other that sees Ryou as home. Religion preaches peace and I want the Ryouese and everyone else who hears my word to heed it and act upon it.”

“Brother Captain kern is regarded as a living prophet by trillions and trillions of Christians the world over because of his peaceful work across the globe.” Williams said jumping to kern’s defence as well. “He will do nothing but good for Ryou, a country that is out of touch with religion on a whole. Hearts and minds are won with faith and Kern is a man more than capable. Of course we are here to help this economy of Ryou and we also have brought with us several members of the Bank of Stevid and the Head Civil Servant to the Stevidian Treasurery to work on this too…. The press are getting irritating. Perhaps we can talk more in private?”

The Ryou Black Islands has interested us. We haven't had many formal relations with them other than we are regional neighbors. However we do know much of Ryou is still sparcely developed, it may be dangerous for your soldiers to enter into the Antromimi controlled areas as they may take it as an invasion. So we purpose we help you in your quest to Restore the Fallen state, allow Kitsuneville to send in it's own peacekeepers, to secure the anthro territories. It will greatly reduce the chances of an immediate and bloody conflict breaking out between your peace keepers if they see fellow Anthromimis in the country and are told it's now under your control.
