The Moses Operations: Adjustment (Open, MT).

Abraham Isle, Elijah Islands.

The Local Parliament Buildings.

Daniel Moses adjusted his M40 sniper rifle's aim slightly. He was zooming in on the gathering of Arab men outside the Local Parliament building, which had attracted the attention of the Scholars, his agency. The Arabs were starting to chant their Takbir, the act of saying the phrase 'Allāhu Akbar', which so many fundamentalists had spoken before their bomb went off, taking them to Hell, along with ninenty-something innocents.

"What the fuck are they doing?" muttered Moses.

There was a mosque just down the street, and Local Parliament was usaully a cesspool of corruption; which explained why the Elijahs always ended up with such bad prime ministers. Hardly a place for holy worship towards the religon about 'submission', as Daniel often joked over a pint of Guinness, while his friends sipped their Miller Lites. Not that Millier Lite was actually a proper beer, of course.

His M40, exclusively bought from the Yanks, was actually quite a good rifle, which Moses loved, along with the Army, Airforce, Navy, Scholars, Counterparts and the Koset. Clearly favoured in the Elijah Islander Armed Forces.

There seemed to be a leader of the Arabs, chanting the Takbir. Though, he was not just chanting, but ranting to Moses' look. He was making a speech, which combined other Arabic clearly. There was other, more complex mouth movements.

Elijah Islander Airlines Flight.

Tzipora Livni sat back in the first class seat. She was reading the Greengold, an economic magizine based in the Elijahs. She couldn't work out what was causing a cold feeling on the back of her neck.

She looked at the stewards. About five of them were Arab. There were six on the plane. Well, the Ministry of Equality were brainwashing all of the Hebrews, the first people to live on the Elijahs, to welcome all Arabs, even goddamned Saudis, if they actually wanted to come here if the monarchy hadn't poisioned them.

She sipped her glass of white wine, before the only stewardess took it away as the plane prepared for take off. She put down Greengold and grabbed Newsday International, which was on the floor. The leader this time round was The World has Changed.

Suddenly, the plane lifted up into the air. It was a Boeing, thankfully. She didn't like Airbuses. Well, she didn't Europeans at all, too be honest.

Ten Minutes Later.

"Get up!" ordered Mahmoud, as Tzipora stood up.

He had a Desert Eagle in his hand, holding the stewardess hostage. Tzipi stood up, held her hands up and tried a little too hard to look scared.

"Passport!" boomed Mahmoud, as Tzipi threw it over to him.

"Oh shit," thought Tzipi. "If they find that Israeli stamp-"

"Israeli, eh?" smiled Mahmoud, dropping the hostage. "Come."

Mahmoud grabbed Tzipi, leading her into the toilets. He locked the door, and started raping her.

"Shit!" muttered Moses.

The Arabs were storming the building now, armed to the teeth with spare AK-47s. He had shot a few of them, but there was the entire Mosque Community, minus the women and children.

Dear Sirs and Madams,

Our Government has recently intercepted a communique indicating a possible terrorist attack against a flight from your national airline. We are currently monitoring the incident, and preparing a detachment from the Salzland Civil Defense Hostage Rescue Team for deployment should you request the assistance. Additional forces are on standby, should further intervention prove necessary.

We can confirm that the attacks were organized by a terrorist group in our country, though we do not know which one. However, a Koset operartive was aboard that flight. The Koset is our chief foreign intelligence agency, and she had an Israeli passport as she was arriving back in the Elijahs.

We request help from the Salzland Civil Defense Hostage Rescue Team as soon as possible. If the terrorists were Arab, I fear what they have done to our agent.

Thank you.

I have been alerted of the recent terrorist outbreaks in your nation and we wish to assist you in any way possible. A group of 3 MIG-20s has been dispatched to tail the hijacked aeroplane and we await your instruction as to what to do. We advise you to consider negotiating with these people, but it may also be necessary to take more fatal action.

I await your reply in earnest.

Daniel Moses had given up on logic, and was now just firing random rounds at the more unfortunate of the Arabs. It was a Darwinian process. You always caught the stupid ones, but the smarter ones you never caught; they just kept getting smarter. And the majority of these Muslims were becoming smarter by the minute.

Moses knew he had no chance to get out of here anytime soon. Any helicopters trying to make in here would be shot down in a few minutes; the bastard Islamists even had RPGs.

The Arabs were going round the isle, rounding up all the non-Muslims and shooting them all. They were mad.

"This is a coup d'etat," thought Moses, the true horror of this hitting home.

Dear Sir,

Having just received your message, I can confirm to you that two squads of the SCDF HRT are in the air, and are taking up a tailing position approximately one half (1/2) hour behind the hijacked airliner. Once they set down, the HRT will deploy and liase with local law enforcement as to the best course of action to take to ensure the safe rescue of all hostages and detention of the hijackers, in that order.

Should you wish to deploy any of your own counter-terror forces to assist or take point (as it is an airliner from your national airline that was taken), we would be grateful for the assistance and outside ideas.

The printer spat out a piece of warm paper. It contained a short communique from the nation of Elijah Islands. Evidently they were having a plane hijacked. And this plane happened to be airborne above the Mediterranean Sea.

And it happened to be overflying Jerark.

Some unimportant NCO grabbed the piece of paper and read it. He brought it to his superior, who was sitting in a chair, smoking a cigar and watching several large screens.

This was the home of Aerospace Defence Command, which commanded all air superiority fighters in Jerark.

On one of the screens, a large composited radar readout of all of Jerark was being shown. One of the blips was highlighted as a civilian jet - and it was off its stated course.

The commander - who was a major, indicated by the badge on his beret - read the paper.

"A clue to the mystery." he said in thick Spanish. "That plane is hijacked!" He pointed at the blip with his cigar-laden hand. A bit of ash fell off the cigar and fell on the paper. It caught fire.

"¡Mierda!" he exclaimed, crushing the paper in his hand. The fire went out, smothered by his hand.

"Launch F-35s to intercept." he said, recovering from the momentary shock.

A Coruña Air Force Base

The F-35s at A Coruña were, by standing orders, always on five-minute standby. They were fueled and loaded with weapons when the klaxons sounded. The pilots ran out into the hangar and climbed the ladders into their planes.

They pulled the canopies down and affixed their helmets properly.

"Pushback would be too slow. We just need to go, and now." one of the pilots said.

He fired up his F-35's engines and pushed the throttle forward, taxiing out of the hangar. That was probably not a good idea, as the force shattered a few windows. But this was a high-priority situation.

"Halcónes Un y Dos, this is A Coruña Tower. You have clearance for takeoff."

The F-35s taxiied out onto the runway, one following shortly behind the other. They ran their throttles up to full afterburner and pulled up hard. The airframes gently glided off the runway. They banked and headed towards the vectors of the hijacked plane.

It took them fifteen minutes to reach the plane going supersonic. Once they located it, they matched its speed and took up positions off its wingtips.

One of the pilots tuned his radio to the civilian frequencies. "Unidentified aircraft, this is Halcón One of the Jerarkan Air Force. You are to proceed to the nearest airport at the pre-indicated vectors. Failure to comply will result in destruction."

He glanced around and waited for a response, flipping up the safety on his air-to-air missiles.

Daniel stopped running from the Gonian, the capital town of this isle. He was panting heavily, soon started to stagger and eventually collasped.

His equipment was gone. His white shirt was splattered with blood, most of it his own. The Islamists, those sons of bitches, had slaughtered the isle's non-Muslim citizens, and nearly killed him if he hadn't dropped that grenade.

Shit. Glancing down at his shirt, he saw blood starting to ooze out. He was losing too much, after that 9mm bullet had hit the area around his heart.

"Requesting..help...emergency..please.." he gasped, before fainting. He didn't know the line was open to all.

He saw nothing. Just an eternal darkness. Well, he didn't see it. Or did he? The depressing bit was he would probably never know.

[OOC: Please excuse any errors in this post, I don't have a lot of time!]

Grad Mia, the Kingdom of Hryvatia, Mediterranean Sea
Saturday, 29th of November, late-afternoon.

The Ministry of Signals was of course not called the Ministry of Signals. It had a very long and obscure Slavic title that this writer cannot be bothered to elaborate on at this moment in time, but rest assured it is more than a mouthful. Regardless, the newly titled 'Ministry of Signals' was ordinarily a rather quiet governmental institution, as most of the trouble existed from within the fractured Kingdom itself rather than from its regional neighbours. Thus, it came as a surprise when the Elijahn emergency transmission was intercepted by the ministry and forwarded to Intelligence Command. So surprising that the Chancellor himself was briefed immediately on the threat, who in turn was so surprised he chose to brief his Prime Ministers (a slip of translating from the Slavic Hryvatian tongue, the term is perhaps more correctly expressed as Senior Ministers) on the situation. Unsure of how to act, they did what Hryvatians do best. They requested the military needlessly intervene.

Hryvatian Cabinet meeting, Mia
A half hour later

Luka Alcaeus Zephyr, Chancellor of the Kingdom, flicked through a selection of intelligence reports rather nervously on the table before him. The table in question was long, broad, and made of a fine, dark oak. The table in question had also captivated his concentration for far too long; as Luka had only realized that such an unusual interest in a table he frequents nearly every other day is nothing more than either A: Escapism from the tricky matter at hand or B: Simply old age. Luka really was rather old, anyway. He preferred to say 'old' as the term 'elderly' really was too old for his liking. It was then that Luka realized he was thinking about something completely irrelevant again. Oh dear.

"Chancellor," began Alexandra Maria Aleši, the Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs, "I believe we should open with a message of condolence for the Elijahn Federation, and offer our assistance. After all we must show solidarity with our more civilized of regional brethren, even if they are not Christian"

The Chancellor opened his mouth to begin to speak, however was cut-off by Andrija Žaknić, the Prime Minister for Defence,

"Chancellor I advise that we immediately move a naval force into Elijahn territory in order to ensure that their crisis does not spill over onto Hryvatian soil-"

Luka then sprung into an energy of comparable life considering his previously slumped and aged posture, rather determined not to succumb to his warmongering minister's fervour:

"One destroyer, Mister Žaknić, one destroyer"

Andrija shifted uncomfortably at the news that he couldn't deploy his entire navy to handle a few dozen upstart Muslims.

"Okay, fine, but I want jets"

Luka smiled warmly, as a father would at his son's innocence,

"Sure. You may have jets"

Beyond the eastern Hryvatian border
A further hour passed

Two JAS 39 Gripens were immediately scrambled and currently tore through the air towards Elijahn territory. They were in actuality nothing more than a show of international force, serving to show the Kingdom's unity with its neighbours over the Arabic pirates and terrorists that plagued its overseas interests. The twin jets were soon approaching their desired location, and lacking any definitive orders from Intelligence Command they proceeded to make it up as they went: In shaky English with a heavy Slavic accent.

"Uhhhh... This is the Hryvatian warplane JAS 39 Sierra-seven-niner and escort, requesting permission to enter Elijahn territory. We are instructed to patrol the aerospace above Abraham Isle in accordance to the Federation's wishes, Sierra-seven-niner out"

A considerable distance below sailed HMS Neprekidan Sudija, a French engineered La Fayette class frigate (as it happened, no destroyer was available for immediate redeployment) as it slowly but surely made its way through international waters and established a patrol across the Elijahn border offshore of Abraham Isle. Like the jets it didn't serve too great a purpose either, save to represent the Kingdom's prevalent insecurities... Nevertheless an assault party was being prepared on board, ready to take to the air aboard the frigate's single helicopter gunship.

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y154/Retro_1989/Hryvatianletterhead.png

In regards to the recent events surrounding the Islamic insurgency within the Federation of Elijah Islands and the seizure of Elijahn flight 267 over Jerark, I must offer my most sincere condolences on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen and Her Majesty's government. Let it be known that if the Kingdom can assist either the Federation or the Sovereignty in anyway, we shall do so.

As I speak the honourable Chancellor has seen fit to deploy a war frigate and aerial patrol to the Elijahn Islands to assess the severity of the situation and to contain the insurgency if possible, however these forces pose no threat to the Federation itself and are merely a Hryvatian safe guard.

As you are undoubtedly aware, the Kingdom too suffers at the hands of these merciless Islamic extremists, with merchant shipping regularly prayed upon by Arabic pirates to the south. We hope that our new common ground, however bleak, is ground enough for a new mutual understanding between the Kingdom of Hryvatia and the Federation of Elijah Islands.

Hvala lijepa.

The Elijahs thank the Kingdom for their action against these Islamic terrorists, but we do feel a frigate was unrequired, as the main part of the problem is a coup d'etat on a small isle in the north-west. The aircraft are welcome and premitted to enter our borders, along with the frigate, despite concerns.

We believe that a Koset operative has been wounded badly in Abraham Isle, and we believe he is on the verge of death. We are having trouble locating his position, but we believe his is somewhere on the Abraham Beach.

Thank you for your help and I hope peace is restored to Abraham Isle and the Elijah Islander Airlines hijackers are dealth with.

"Bastard," she muttered.

Most of the people on the aircraft were dead, and she knew there was some aircraft tailing behind. One had even contacted them, and she was planning to respond to them. Though, the dead bodies scattered around the floor were making her uncomfortable.

Stepping over a young boy's body, she made it into the cockpot, launched a swift roundhouse kick to the pilots and grabbed the headset.

"This is a Elijah Islander Airlines flight, flying over Jerark. Islamic fundamentalists have attacked this aircraft, and all on board are thought to be dead-"

-Oh shit. She hadn't grabbed the controls-

My frigate's about to deploy some marines, I don't think anyone else would get there in anywhere near enough time. It'll have to wait 'till later though, either tonight or tomorrow morning :P

Abraham Isle, Western Limits of the Elijahn Federation

HMS Neprekidan Sudija; literally Eternal Justice sailed comfortably towards the Elijahn Federation as the sun began to set on the Mediterranean horizon. She was one of many of her class purchased from the French Republic for special naval operations alongside the Hryvatian Navy's newly acquired Visby class corvettes; both machines of considerable tactical power. As per Hryvatian custom, both classes were aptly renamed to properly designate the Hryvatian modifications to the vessels; La Fayette became the Renesansa class (Renaissance; in reference to the groundbreaking design) and the Visby class became the Zephyr class, named after the Kingdom's much loved Chancellor by Her Majesty.

However names are not important. The strategic location of the vessel is. The Neprekidan Sudija had long left the Adriatic and was now holding its position offshore of Abraham Isle, broadcasting only in encrypted bursts to Fleet Command. The Neprekidan Sudija was a tad longer than her La Fayette counterparts in order to accommodate one Doomani-built ACI 39N Bellicus (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13108809&postcount=200), that had to be secured to the deck during the ship's voyage to hold on to the aerial killer. However now the killer was being prepared to be let loose; eleven Hryvatian marines ducked under the downforce of its already spinning rotor blades to pile into the belly of the beast, and within a minute the gunship was in the air. It proceeded to speed away from the Neprekidan Sudija towards solid ground, with the increasingly orange skyline reflecting on the glass cockpit. Their only lead was a gargled radio-transmission originating from the Abraham beach; a location that grew steadily closer to the pilots of the bird. Overhead, the two Gripens from the Kingdom advanced across the skyline leaving vapour trails in their wake, eagre to make their way towards town and assess the situation their.

"Foxtrot one-seven Kos, this is Sierra seven-niner, movement on the beach, hostility unknown. Uhhh... We can't see much more from up here Kos, it's up to you. Sretno, out"

"Roger that Sierra seven-niner, Kos out"

The rough static of the radio in the absence of the warplanes left little reassurance to the marines, however their training was thorough, and like most Hryvatians they had been wielding a rifle since they were boys, and killing at far too young an age. As the island drew in a massive column of thick, black smoke originating from town rose up towards the sparse clouds, echoing the destruction of the afternoon. The Bellicus reared back as it descended down upon the beach, the powerful rotors kicking sand in every direction, and the sides and rear opened to reveal the marines awaiting deployment. It wasn't long before the slumped body of Daniel was noticeable.

"Lajtnant, do you see that?"

"Roger, pilot can you verify the target?"

"Yes Sir, that's the source. Touching the dirt in three, prepare to scramble"

To most aboard the gunship the conversation was nothing more than voices in their ears thanks to the need for radio due to the background noise of the helicopter. When the soft thud marked groundfall the marines quickly spread out as per their training, establishing a perimeter around the Bellicus whilst two hurried towards the corpse with their guns trained. Daniel groaned-

"Sir, he's alive" remarked one of the pair without taking his eyes nor his rifle off of the man,

"Get him in the gunship. Scouts, move up, this is perfect gettin' ambushed territory"

It did not take long for the Gripens to reach town, and instinctively they began to circle the Parliament whilst analysing the situation below. The crackle of their radios marked the intrusion of Intelligence Command,

"Sierra seven-niner, report" The pilot paused for a second, looking down at the aftermath of the insurgency,

"Sir, we're going to need a lot more men" Another pause marked the Intelligence operator's consideration of his next words,

"Roger Sierra seven-niner, you have permission to engage, out"

One of the pilots looked across the airliner to his colleague. He crooked an eyebrow. Not that that mattered, because they were wearing helmets with visors.

The pilot selected the secure channel.

"She doesn't sound like an Islamic fundamentalist. She sounds like a good guy." he said.

"Possibly true, but it could be a trick." the other replied.

"Let's just put this tin can on the ground."

Just the they were interrupted by Aerospace Defense Command.

"Halcónes, tienen un mensaje de Comando Central."

The pilots sneered silently. Then the major in command of ADC began to speak.

"Halcónes, we've received a message from a previously unknown nation called Salzland. They have two Gulfstreams in the air off our airspace-"

"Great, but what's that got to do with us?"

"Don't interrupt. They have offered assistance in safely extricating the hostages and passengers from the airliner once it is on the ground. Now, we know you're not far from Murcia now, and so I'm officially ordering you to get that plane on the ground at Aeropuerto Murcia. The airport has already been evacuated and SWAT and emergency teams are on site."

"Roger that, Command." one of the pilots said. He pulled his plane off a bit, and hit the throttle to reach the cockpit windows.

A rather surprised woman was in it. It looked like some people were on the floor of the cockpit.

"I believe there was gunfire." the pilot said. He switched back to the civilian channel.

"I am Leftenant David Rodriguez of the Jerarkan Air Force. Can you fly a plane?" he asked. He flipped the safety back down. It looked like it would be unnecessary.

Response to the Office of the Minister for Foreign Relations, Salzland

Greetings.

At this time we would appreciate the assistance. We would like one of your Gulfstreams to land at Aeropuerto Murcia, at the enclosed coordinates. This is the location we are hoping to get the hijacked plane to land at.

The other should tail the airliner at a distance of five kilometres or more for safety reasons. This is in case the hijackers should choose not to comply with our requests and attempt to land elsewhere.

10:25am, 30th November 2008.
The Abraham Beach.

Daniel, lost in darkness, couldn't see a thing, but he could feel being lifted and taken into a navial vessel. Then, everything vanished, only to be replaced by humble gates....

..."Shit!" screamed Daniel, waking up. He was sweating like a rapist.

He looked like he just saw Hades. And he knew he had.

Somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea.

"Truthfully, no," replied Tzipi. "Everybody's dead on this thing."

Throughout the planes, dead bodies were everywhere. Babies to pensioners, they were all in Heaven now. Or Hell, for the bastard Islamic terrrorists. This was a cockup by Scholar and Koset standards. Why had she put her 9mm in her luggage? It was a rookie mistake, and all those innocents died as a result.

"All right, we have a green light! We're wheels down at the Aeropuerto Murcial in 15 minutes. Grab your gear and be ready to move once we stop," Hughes said, after reading the secured transmission in from Rostgard. "Team Bravo's going to land, refuel, then orbit the area in case the airliner makes a run for it."

Throughout the G-650, the dozen men from the HRT readied their weapons, secured extra ammunition and made sure they had all of the equipment they could possibly need to storm an airliner close to hand. Once they hit the ground, the situation could get dicey fast. Exactly the type of situation the HRT was trained to face.

Lieutenant Rodriguez sighed to himself.

"That's unfortunate. To be honest, I only have experience with small planes, so I'd probably screw up with these huge tin cans. I'll have Murcia ATC talk you down. Studies have shown that it's easy to land a plane with an adviser, so you'll be alright. And we'll be right behind you."

He switched channels for a moment.

"Murcia ATC, I hope you have aspirin and coffee handy. You're going to have to talk this plane down."

"Roger, Halcón One. We'll do our best." There was a pause. "Elijah Islander Airlines Flight 267, this is Murcia ATC. We understand you need some help..."

Lieutenant Rodriguez sighed with relief. He knew the plane and the woman inside would be alright. He looked at the multitude of fire trucks and lights on the ground below and noticed the SWAT crew.

"Er, Murcia ATC, I don't think SWAT will be necessary." he radioed. "The situation sounds pretty calm."

"Understood, Halcón One, but it's under the Federal Council's orders."

Rodriguez sneered. Those be-suited lawyers knew nothing about the real world.

"If you say so." he radioed back.

[OOC: Yeah, er, I've never flown planes myself so I can't really write the dialogue for talking Tzipi down.]

"Help needed very soon," said Tzipi, into the headset. "I think this thing's starting to run out of fuel. Over."

"I'm going to be a celebrity when this is done," she thought, giggling despite the situation.

"That shouldn't be a problem. You're only about 30 miles from the airport, and you can glide in if need be. Now, cockpit familiarization. I assume you already know what the stick does. The pedals on the floor control the rudder, which will move you left and right without pitching..."

This spiel continued for a few minutes while ATC continued to educate the would-be pilot.

Lieutenant Rodriguez had resorted to doing barrel rolls every few minutes to stave off the boredom. With any luck he'd make the Air Force's aerobatics team at the next tryouts.

Tzipi nodded several times, as the pilot informed on the basics of flying a aeroplane, despite the enormous pressure on her. If she failed here, it would become a global incident, something the Elijahs didn't want.

"Thank you," she said into the radio, not taking into account the very low fuel levels of the aeroplane.

In a few seconds, the aircraft began to dip. Tzipi tried to pull it back up, but then glanced at the fuel level bar.

E.

"Oh shit," she blurted. "This thing is...out of fuel."

Damn. Rodriguez thought. He leveled out of a barrel roll and zoomed up to the cockpit.

"Roger that, we'll see if we can't make this thing sail like the Gimli Glider." the ATC radioed. "Find the button for the Ram Air Turbine, or RAT. You'll need it when the engines flameout. Next, pull the airbrake lever to full and set the flaps to full. Also pull the slats. You'll need all the lift you can get."

"This has a good side." Rodriguez radioed on the civilian channel. "You don't have to worry about the throttle." He could hear his colleague chuckle a bit.

"Lieutenant, if you don't mind." ATC replied.

"Of course, do continue." Rodriguez said.

The ATC continued talking Tzipi down as best they could.

Tzipi had no idea why she was still sane. This was supposed to be a little flight back to Avavi, but then one of the passengers started a terroriost attack and raped her.

As she glided the thing down, the winds started to get choppy.

"Down in five..four..three..two..."

The aircraft crashed down into the water, and the force of this pushed open the cockpit windows, soon flooding the entire aeroplane. The aeroplane was, in some ways, being drowned by the water, and started slowly sinking to the depths of the deep ocean.

Tzipi, with all her might, forced herself through the cockpit, looking back the pilots. They would die peacefully, thankfully. Before she knew it, her weight had carried her back up to the surface, and she instantly began screaming.

"Help! For the love of God, help!" she screamed, as the aircraft began sinking.

HMS Neprekidan Sudija, International Waters

Daniel Moses lay on a soft, white cot in the modest medical bay of the frigate, in complete peace save for the regular beep of the monitor. A few personnel had gathered around his body, whispering quietly as if to avoid waking him, not that it would...

"How is he?" enquired the Neprekidan Sudija's Captain; Jakov Škoro,

"Sir" began one of the medics, "We've done what we can, but the Sudija simply isn't kitted out for this kind of treatment. We need a proper hospital with professional surgeons to carry out immediate cardiac surgery"

"Out of the question. I'm not breaking our patrol until our marines have completed their mission and are safely back aboard"

"But Sir... He may not survive the night"

"Then revive him" A sudden silence marked the medic's amazement at the order,

"Sir?"

"You heard me, revive him. I've got a fatally wounded Scholar on my boat and I damn well want him debriefed before we lose him" The Captain's whisper was increasingly agitated, growing into a very subdued yell,

"If we wake him up now, his odds of survival will drop dramatically, Sir" responded the medic, her weary tone conveying her sense of hopelessness at continuing to argue. The Captain turned to leave, making his way up the metal stairway towards the bridge.

"Just tell me when it's done"

"Bloody hell." Rodriguez said. He hit the afterburner and started circling the wreck.

"CENTCOM, this is Halcón One. The plane has splashed down. I repeat, the plane has splashed down." he yelled into the radio.

"Roger that, Halcón One. Stay in position. Lifeboats are departing now."

Several rigid-hulled inflatable boats and one Severn-class lifeboat sped out to the wreck. A Navy patrol hydroplane also scrambled to the scene, taking the advantage with its speed and arriving first. Its crew fished the would-be pilot out of the water.

The rest of the boats set up a makeshift cordon until larger ships arrived. They began fishing floating debris out of the water for investigation.

"Halcón One, Navy reports floater is on deck. She will be debriefed. Confirm you see no other floaters, over."

"Roger, CENTCOM. I see no other floaters at this time."

"Roger that. There's a tanker in the area at the vectors we're sending you. Refuel and head back to base."

"Wilco, out."

The HMS Neprekidan Sudija.

"What...?" asked Daniel, as he woken.

He was in a pure white room, surronded by doctors. Or, it seemed he was surronded by doctors. He really had no idea about anything, truthfully. He could only remember pengiuns. Potraits of pengiuns.

The human mind can only have a maximum of seven thoughts in itself at one given time; if another enters, one is deleted. The pengiuns had engulfed all of his thoughts, to the only thing he could remember was that. Pengiuns.

The Jerakian Lifeboats.

Tzipi shivered as the crew wrapped a blanket around her. She knew she was coming down with hyporthermia, and the crew had to get her back to shore, no, a hospital, now.

She couldn't move, so the crew began drying her the best they could, but it was a futile task; she was as wet as a sea lion.

She collasped backwards, to hit the lifeboat again. The last thing she remembered before she fainted was....

..Nothing.

HMS Neprekidan Sudija
Some time after the kamikaze event

Captain Jakov Škoro watched as the young man's eyes began to blink into life, before he started to look around to ascertain his surroundings. One of the medics had called him down as soon as we was ready to be revived, and his vitals were already looking promising compared to what they could have been like.

"What...?"

...

"You are on the Hryvatijan warship Neprekidan Sudija. Vhee received your transmission and airlifted you from the coast. Soldier, do you understand Vhat I am saying?"

Škoro took the time to pronounce the words clearly. With such a swift departure from port in Hryvatia nobody had thought to include a Hebrew-speaker on the crew roster, although this was not anticipated as a major problem due to the Elijahn's historical ties with the United Kingdom. The Captain spoke rather good English, however his thick consonants in his pronunciation clearly gave away his Slavic ethno-linguistic background.

"Soldier, Vhee are vorking with the Eli-yan Government. Can you give me a sitrep?"
