I loved Colbert's admission for Press Secretary in the 2006 White House Corespondents Dinner. Just kidding.

I'm trying to place some of the Characters in various places, while eliminating some all together. I loved John Spencer's character as well, alongside Richard Schiff's character. Doesn't mean they won't appear in the future.
