Diplomatic Communique

The Commonwealth of Whiskeasy is interested in joining a high power alliance. We see the benefits of both of sides and being a centrist democracy lean in no direction. However because of our Human Rights beliefs we believe that CSS is more right than ODECON. Which alliance should we join? A comment by one or both alliances would be nice.

I personally see no reason why the great nation of Whiskeasy could not join both organizations. The Holy Empire itself is a member of both ODECON and the Confederate Sovereign States. These alliances are idealogical allies, and share similar goals.

I do wonder though, what makes you beleive that there is a discrepency between the two regarding Human Rights?

Thank you for your reply. I mentioned the Human Rights differences as they are needed to join the CSS, but not to join ODECON. E.g. it is the CSS charter and not ODECON's. Joining both would seem to be unnecessary for us and may cause conflict at a later date. However we are swaying towards ODECON at the moment for it seems to be better operated and run. And according to you exactly the same principles apply to both of them.

I understand you want to know possible ideas of CSS and ODECON. Even though Lynion is not part of CSS, we did sided with ODECON during the Last Ryoues War. When the war was over, we managed to captured Isabella and Kanna. We were intending to put them on a fair trail but it was replied with ODECON highly demanding that we hand them over to third party nations. They didn't bother to name the country, they contiune to bully us until they were taken away by Rouge Lynions to Allanea.

That is what Lynion thinks of ODECON. Nothing more than bullies to smaller nations.

Naturally as the General Secretary of the CSS I think you need to join our alliance whose charter is far more concerned with individual rights.

OOC: Lynion, what in the world are you talking about? The third party nation who captured Isabella and Kanna was you. We wanted you to turn them over to us to turn over to a neutral third-party but for some reason you just gave them to Allanea.

And what do you mean "bully us?" When did we ever show you anything but respect?
