Royal funeral ceremony
With things finally calming down in our Kingdom, the Royal Government has decided to have an official funeral ceremony for his Majesty Bardur I, his Highness Prince Orol Sarekh, and his grace Asmolach I. These great leaders of our nation was lost during the crisis and finally our nation has time bury our dead ones. This is an invitation to all foreign dignitaries willing to come to the funeral ceremony at the Temple of Baradech, which will take place this Thursday. We know the Bardarian King and prince had many friends among the international community and the nation of Bardar would hope to see all old and new friends attend the funeral. The Kingdom would also want to use this opportunity to reach out with a olive branch to all old enemies, this is the time of peace, and our great Kingdom is ready to forgive foreign nations that has conducted atrocities against our proud people in the past.
Regards;
Asmolach II, Patriarch of the Bardarian Church, Prime Minister of Bardar.
The city was being prepared for the great event, with things finally under control in Baradech, no incident had happened in several weeks most of the inhabitants were relieved and grateful they finally had a chance to mourn their dead in peace and say a final farewell to their king. Security had tightened a lot the last weeks and the royal palace had been quickly renovated and a new wings had opened; the Guest Wing, for diplomatic guests visiting the Bardarian capital. It was also said the Royal Government had returned to the capital from the Secret Military Base, but no one knew for sure. They did know that the new, young Prime Minister had returned and spent most of his time at the Temple, to prepare for the funeral ceremony. For most Bardarians this was the end of a generation; three national heroes, the king, the crown prince and the former Prime Minister was being buried. All three had been great leaders in the Liberation War. Most also hoped to honor and support the new young queen Barazine I. She would have a hard time coping with the death of her father and uncle, as well as leading the nation forward. These times were hectic indeed in Baradech, but for most Bardarians it felt like the nation was finally reborn.
Lakriv Sarekh, now Asmolach II was busy preparing the Temple for the ceremony, Bardar had rebuilt the important sites of the capital quickly. The government was back in Baradech, but times were not good. Four senior positions in the Royal Government was still vacant. Well, the Prime Minister thought, politics can wait, now the most important thing is to get this ceremony to become a truly memorable event. This royal funeral must become a signal to the world that Bardar is back, and stronger than ever.

The ceremony had begun. Only invited guests were allowed inside the Temple. Almost all the people of Baradech had gathered outside in hope of getting a glimpse. Security was tight, agents from the Secret Police were everywhere. All Bardarian TV stations showed the funeral live. The nation watched...
The caskets were carried inside the Temple and placed in front of the Altar. Many priests and priestesses offered flowers and incense to the dead. Asmolach II took his place in the behind the altar to begin his sermon.
"People of Bardar, Guests from abroad, our nation is in mourning. Many of our loved one has died. Today we have gathered to say our farewells to three remarkable men. Our beloved king and leader; Bardur I, his wise and brave brother Prince Orol Sarekh and our dear Prime Minister Asmolach. These three men were our leaders and they gave strength and honor to our nation. Now we have to do the painful act to say our final farewells and let them take their place in the Otherworld. Let us pray;
Oh, Mighty Lords of the Mountains, will you take these poor souls through the Gates of the Otherworld and give them a place in your Kingdom? Will you make them kings of your domains and give them a place in the Halls of Heroes. Will you give these travelers a new home in your Undying Domain??"
Two priests sacrificed a young goat on the altar. There was a long silence. Asmolach II looked towards the roof for an answer, then he continued;
"The souls of our dead ones has left this world and reached for the Otherworld. They have entered the Gates and been given the Undying Life. They are now in the hand of the mightiest Lords of the Mountain".
Queen Barazene I took Asmolach II's place behind the altar, a priest shouted;
"Her Majesty, the Queen"!
All rose up from their seats to give the queen honor and respect. The queen spoke;
"With deep sorrow we have now allowed our loved ones to finally enter the Otherworld. From the highest tops of the mountains my uncle Bardur I, my father Prince Orol and our beloved teacher Asmolach will watch over our nation. With their memory in our minds and their wisdom in our hearts our Nation will prosper. With their justice in our soul we will get our vengeance on those who were responsible, but today we will remember the dead, not just our beloved leaders, but all who has given their lives for the nation during this crisis. Today we remember, tomorrow we rebuild, and when it's done we strike. That's the Bardarian way, and that's the Bardarian nation."
With these words the queen left the altar and everyone sat down at their seats again. Asmolach II returned.
"According to traditions from ancient times Great Leaders will be buried under the Temple floor, so will happen this time too"
A hatch was opened and the cascets was placed under the floor, meanwhile everyone sung the hymn;
"Oh Great Lords of the Mountains take care of your servants, today and tomorrow, in this life and the next, give us strength and honor, lead us the way to greatness".

High Lord Ilfir Erenthi III watched the ceremony in his private chambers, and he looked up as High Inquisitor Mordolin walked in. "Ah. High Inquisitor. Tell me, as a man of the cloth, what do you think of this ceremony?"
"In what way?"
"As in; what do you think of this nation's loyalty to its leader?"
"My Lord, it befits their leader."
"A cryptic answer... Mordolin, you never change."
"I realise that, sir."
Turning back to the screen, they watched the rest of the ceremony in silence.
Asmolach II sttod behind the altar again. He looked at the crowd in the temple and started to speak again;
"People of Bardar. These are hard times for our nations. Many of our loved ones have crossed to the other side. i assure you they all made it through the Gates. All Bardarians with a true heart who has lived a life with honor will be welcome to live The Undying Life. Our King has taken his place in the Halls of Heroes. He is now watching us and protecting us from the highest mountain tops. Let's sacrifice to him"
A little piglet was placed on the altar, Asmolach II held the ceremonial knife himself this time. He did the deed quickly.
"Let's pray";
"Oh Mighty Lords of the Mountains. Protect us, help us, give us the strength to rebuild our lives and our nation. Weaken our enemies, give us the resolve to take our rightful revenge and give honor to our names".
A lower- rank priest appeared;
"Her Majesty the Queen, Barazene I has arranged a banquet in the memory of the dead in the Palace. Let's all move there."
When the guests left the Temple music was played.
