Aliyah came wearing her new, Battlehawkian uniform, her long dark brown hair tied up into a ponytail, after the ROTB started complaining as expect, but her beautiful features still illumanting the sky.

"Aliyah Benziri, reporting for duty," she saluted.

"Here we go," she thought. "I wonder what we'll be doing. Terrorists? Arabs? Oh, I hope we kill some Islamists..."

She was Israeli-by-birth. She had nearly been killed by a few Arabic planes, whom the nation who had such had never been found out, though she put her money on the Saudis. They hated Israelis, they hated women, so they must hate her.

She dropped her backpack, taking out a bottle of water and drinking it.

"Good Morning Flt Lieutenant" Stuart replied with a aknowldgement Salute "Welcome to Battlehawk Air Force Station Woodvale"

"Thank you, sir," she replied. "pardon me for asking, but what is today's operation?"

She threw her water back into her backpack, deeply hoping for a chance for revenge on the Arabs. She thought silently, her intelligent eyes seemlingly looking through the Squadron Leader, rather than at him. That was a trademark of hers, as her father also said.

Before he died, of course. A business trip back to Jersualem, some terrorist group blew up his car. It was understandble why she hated Islamists and the Saudi Royals, at least to sanity, pity, and God.

"Famirialisation" Stuart replied "This is the first time we'll all have flown together, we're going on a standard patrol around the Battlehawks boarders"
Stuart turned to look at the Talon
"We'll have full Patrol armamants, but we'll follow ROE"

"Interesting," commented Aliyah. "Looks quite safe, quite likely nothing bad will happen. To us, at least. Not impossible, of course."

"Of course something bad will happen! her 'pessimist' screamed. "Do you even know who you are?"

She knew that some member of squad will probably be eyeing her up now. She had to admit, she did look attractive in her slim, black uniform.

"Your more than welcome to take your Talon up for a spin" Stuart offered "The others are slightly delayed, something about their bunk cleanliness"
Athresia
24-11-2008, 22:12
"May I?" she asked, motioning towards her Talon. "And with the others, bunk cleanliness? Never been shot down, eh?"

She smiled at the last bit. She had to keep optismistic in nearly all aeroplane flights, civillan or military ever since The Ocean Incident.

"Just bring me the Jet back in one peice and I'll be happy" Stuart said with a smile "I need to deal with the others, god help them"
Athresia

"THank you," she smiled. "Back in Athresia, a urgent military operation was delayed as some pilots couldn't get out of bed. They get expelled, happily."

She climbed into her Talon, and took a deep breath. The controls were different, but all she needed for today she knew. It was actually slightly better than the F-16s in the Athresian Airforce, as should would expect. Though she would love to be in the Israeli Airforce.

After about thirty seconds, the plane roared up into the sky at lightening speed. She let out a cheer as she started flying the Talon at such a rate it would shame the people who were awarded prizes for being brilliant on these things.

Stuart smiled and brought a Flt Lt over "Go and get those lazybones over here by the time I'm on the ground again"
The Officer looked puzzled before smiling and nodded.
Stuart pulled a helmet on and jumped into his Talon and taxied out onto teh Runway before powering the engines and soaring into teh sky. Stuart temp turned off the Jets transponder so he'd appear as a bogey on Radar. He was soon in RADAR range of Aliyah's F 28

Aliyah glanced at her rader, then let out a frown. She wished she didn't have to do this.

"One..Two..Three..." she counted slowly. "Four!"

The F-28 soared up into the air, upside down. She was much higher than the bogey, and she could just imagine the confused face on the bogey.

((OOC: Please tell me I'm right when bogey means 'unidentified' in military speak. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brevity_code#B ))

OOC: Thats confirmed

Staurt smiled as he watched as Talon pulled up and went high upside down, he pulled on the control coloum and quickly pulled a 120 degree turn to match the heading and to gain hight. He clicked on the Talons weapons and began to seek a target lock.

"Hold on," said Aliyah to herself. "That's a Talon!"

She sensed something was about to happen. Something not humane.

"Unidentified ship, please identify yourself. Over," she said into the communication system.

((OOC: Yes, I don't know a fork about planes. I'm never going to be a weapons designer, eh? Still, I have a small knowledge thanks to the documentry USS Enterprise.

Stuart smiled as Aliyah tried to communicate and did not respond. the beeping of his target locking system got fasters as the lock got better.

"What the fuck?" she asked to herself.

She didn't want to fire back, thanks to those damned rules of engagement. But it was that part of her brain which just wanted to blow that thing back to Hell, where Lucifer would deal with it.

She was actually Jewish, as most Israelis. She was still deeply interested in her homeland, of course.

"Bogie, please respond. Over," she said, anger creeping iunto her voice as she launched into a random stream of twirls, ups and downs in the aircraft, then, suddenly, fired a warning shot.

Stuart watched interested as the warning shot sped of to the right.
"She actually fired" He said to himself as he brought the Talon into a large loop round the sky bringing him behind the other Talon and getting a positive lock. If he fired he'd shot her down, unless the advoided the missle

2:45 PM, Engel Squadron
BAF Woodvale, Battlehawk

With the hiss of rubber hitting asphalt, the lead FA 15 Cardinal (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=523062) Block D (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12683151&postcount=76) of Engel Squadron touched down on the tarmac of Woodvale Air Force Base, his nine wingmen following close behind. The planes and their pilots had been tested against every threat conceivable, from SAM’s in the United Government war, to fellow pilots in the invasion by Waldenburg, and it showed—Engel Squadron was one of the most decorated in the whole of the Bundesluft. It had only been a few months since the squadron had been pulled off of active duty, yet it seemed as though their days of dog-fighting were not at an end.

Corporal Adler had belonged to Engel Squadron since its inception some four years ago, and he and his wingmen were drawn together by their common experiences in conflict and bonds of friendship formed over years of flying as a unit. Corporal Faber sat behind him in the weapon’s officer seat, his eyes drooping from nearly twenty hours of straight flying. Faber was Adler's navigation and weapons officer on his FA 15 Cardinal, and he was also one of his best friends.

“Hans, how many Battlehawkians does it take to screw in a light bulb?” Faber asked dryly. He was well known as the squadron’s resident wisecrack—a habit put up with by his superiors because of his exemplary record.

“How many, Dieter?” he replied, playing along.

“Hell if I should know. I’m just here to kill them, not screw in light bulbs…” Faber replied with mock irritation. “You’d better get focused on the mission, Hans.”

Hans ignored the attempt at humor with a roll of his eyes and parked the Cardinal in one of the open spaces he was directed towards by Battlehawk ground personnel. With a hiss of air he opened the canopy and climbed out of the cockpit, shaking the hand of the nearest Battlehawkian military official who introduced himself only as Killeen.

"Welcome to Woodvale Gentlemen" Killeen said "I'm afraid out CO is in the air at the moment, he should be down soon"

"No problem at all," Adler muttered, removing his flight helmet and placing it under his arm. "So what sort of exercises do you have planned for us?" The other eighteen Leistungi pilots walked up behind Adler, waiting for some word of what was to go on.

Aliyah looked at her fuel levels. Damn. All the crazy flying had destroyed the thing, nearly to E. Empty.
