Vendetta vo Viel looked out her window. Just weeks earlier was she leading her armies in battle for independence from Miroxia. She sent one of her rare smiles out her window and to the ocean, upon which the sun was rising. The water seemed to have an orange streaks as the purple sky started to blend blue with every waking inch it rose. She then got up and put on her military outfit. "Time to show these fools a glimpse of freedom."

Later that day, Vendetta was standing on a large stage in a large building in Clamburg, the capital. She had a small council of ten sitting behind her. She smiled as she opened her mouth to speak; the crowd hushed. "My fellow Dellukarlans," she said into the mic. The crowd roared with cheers at their national name. Their national name. The noise soon died down. "It is today, on November 23rd, 2011, that I, Vendetta vo Viel, declare Dellukarl of free and independent republic for the people: a people's republic!" The crowd roared as she smiled. "Today, the two political parties of Dellukarl shall be founded: The Militia Party and the Dellukarlan Progressive Party! So register to vote and learn more about them! Our first national elections," here the crowd cheered for about a minute, "will be held in a few weeks. Marvin Mason of the Militia Party will run with yours truly on the Militia Ticket, while Marion Quigmire and her friend, Admiral Charlotte Go'ed, will be on the Progressive Ticket.

"We will have elections soon and debates will be scheduled, so please check you local papers for those dates. So go and be merry for we are a united nation; Dellukarl forever!" Thunderous applause took control as she left the building. "Perfect," she said, driving off. "Perfect."

Militia Party- Wants the military to rule until the people can stablize. They have very Liberal views on most things.

Progressive Party- Trusts the people are stablized and ready for the national level. Very Conservative on most things.

Province of Inde Election Results

Quigmire/Go'ed- 34,086
Mason/Von Viel- 38,920

Vendetta von Viel stood at the same stage she had stood on in Clamburg just eight days ago. Voting in the Province of Inde took place yesterday and her ticket was ahead in the polls. She smiled as she walked to the podium placed in the middle of the stage. "My fellow Dellukarlans," she said. The crowd roared, but not as intense this time. "My fellow Dellukarlas, I welcome you to the first debate of your elections. Our national elections." Thunderous applause. I welcome to the stage Militia Party Candidate Marvin Mason and Progressive Party Candidate Marion Quigmire."

The crowd cheered as both candidates took the stage. They shook hands then sat down at a table in front of the podium. "It's an honor to be here," Marion said. She knew that the international community was supporting her.

"Thank you both for coming," Vendetta said now sitting at a table in front of the stage. "Our first question to the debate is for Marvin; Mr. Mason, how do you plan to stabilize our country?"

"My plan, if elected, is to have tight military forces always guarding and protecting us. Our senate will be made up of one hundred and thirty militians until our next election. Then, I will dissolve this party and reform it into a Liberal Party. Now stabilizing comes here. The military control will be limited, but, seeing how they fought for our independence, I think they'd run Dellukarl politically well."

"Mrs. Quigmire, same question."

"Stabilization is a big issue now, and to me, in order to stabilize our nation, we must let our wisest run the nation. The Progressive Party wants to immediately take this fine nation our of our current military junta and bring the needs of this country to the people immediately."

"Okay. Marvin, the people's tax, currently, is 27%. Will you increase or decrease it?"

"My, what a great question! In order to keep our military in top condition, I would raise the taxes at the most to 35%."

"Mrs. Quigmire?"

"The taxes are okay, but must be at least 25%. The people deserve better. We've got independence, which means our military can be decreased in size."

"I disagree on that," Mason interrupted, "The military must stay where it is! What if Miroxia invades us again? Then we'll fall back under international control!"

"Last question: What will you do with Miroxia?"

"I," Mason began, "would issue a peace treaty with them to ensure our freedoms. Doesn't mean they'll betray us; they are still peeved about the independence, but let them be! With a strong military, we could invade them! Hail Dellukarl!"

"I would do the same, but keep our military smaller. I trust that the Miroxians will get over our independence. They can't be that ingnorant!"

And with that the debate was over. Vendetta wasn't too pleased, but htey were ahead in the polls, so she'd let it slide...this once...

Province of Maltork Election Results

Quigmire/Go'ed- 46,523
Mason/Von Viel- 41,912

Vendetta von Viel frowned as she got her daily paper: "Quigmire/Go'ed Gain International Support, Wins the Province of Maltork". She groaned. Not only were they down by 223 votes in the popular vote, but they each held one of the 11 provinces! "This..." she sighed. She smiled and sat back. Perhaps today would go well. No, not perhaps, it would...

-----------

"Thank you for all your support throught these early days of election," Marion Quigmire said, smiling to a crowd of her supporters. "Not only do we thank you, the Dellukarlan citizens, but we thank the international community for influencing the voters. We couldn't do it without-" she was cut off as a few gunshots went off. Screams filled the air as a few grendaes flew up into the air, only to explode upon impact of the ground. People strated running everywhere as a few army men escorted the two politicians away.

-----------

Vendetta von Viel awoke the next day and smirked slightly at the heading. "Terrorists Kill 6, Themselves, And Wound 22 at Quigmire's Sunday Speech in Clamburg." She quickly skimmed the article before lighting a cigarette and placing it in her mouth. She puffed out some smoke as she left. "Time to campaign."
