The NDS Blanc: International Recruitment.

The NDS Blanc is the best aircraft carrier in the whole of the New Darland Navy. Bought from the United States recently, the ship is often desribed as a 'city at sea', which is understandble considering the 1,000-3,000 soldiers soon to be filling it.

This is one of the first vessels in the world to start an international recruitment drive, meaning anybody from anywhere can join the crew of the ship and be either regular staff or a pilot aboard one of the F-16s aboard the ship. All soldiers from ally/neutral nations to New Darland are welcome, and this ship will never attack the home country of any of the crew members.

Biography:
James was born In Tren'Lar. Less than a month after his birth his parents were killed in a hit and run incident. He grandmother Holly Bauer took him in and raised him. James was Enrolled at Elementry school where he did exceptionally well in P.E and several other subjects. During his first year at Middle school James first developed a want to join some sort of service. This was due to an incident he was involved in. A Tren'Lar Police Department Officer was chaseing a Rape suspect through the streets near the school. James saw this and using a baseball bat, which he had, he was able to trip the suspect and give the cop a chance to arrest him. The cop thanked James and offered to give him a tour of his station. James agreed and the spent the next day at TPD Headquarters. After graduateing from Upper school James joined the Battlehawk Marine Corp, after traning he served several years durin Operation Jungle Storm. After returing home James left the Marines with honours and relocated to Los Angeles where he joined the Police. He served with distinction for some years before applying to join the Special Weapons and Tactics department. He was accpeted and following testing was assigned to a SWAT Element. In the Summer a few years later James deceided to join the Airforce, and as his first assignmend was assigned to the NDS Blanc.

James Bauer from the ROTB is accepted to the NDS Blanc. Arrive whenever you wish, you have been assigned to Squadron '1'.

Christania Owens stood in the cold, New Darlander air, wearing a white navy shirt, black leggings and brown boats. Her long brown hair fluttered in the wind, as her eyes scanned for a sign of the Battlehawkian.

Name: Rupert Harmansen

Age: 21

Description: Tall, thin, wiry. Hazel eyes. Black hair.
Biography: Rupert Harmanses had been a fully-fledged pilot for only a few months before he heard of the NDS Blanc. After graduating high school at the top of his class, he decided to take his knowledge to the military. Favoring a classic rout through combat training instead of going straight to command, he joined the New Kereptecean Navy as a pilot. He was quickly revealed to be one of the most skilled pilots in his training group. After completing his training, he was released on leave, a welcome break because the navy was quickly gearing up for war with the Ryou Black Islands. Not wanting to loose experience, Rupert quickly applied to join the NDS Blanc after hearing about it from one of his friends from traning.

James arrived in a Taxi, he'd been flown to the Airport by the BAF and had got a taxi to docks. He payed the man and got out and walked towards the ship. He carried his bags and was in full miltry uniform. As he got closer he spotted an attractive female New Darlandian Officer standing on teh dockside in Navy uniform. As he approached he raised his hands in a greetings salute before lowering it down again.

Rupert Harmansen, from Glaskov, is accepted and is welcomed aboard. Included on Squadron 1.

"There's a new guy coming, Chris," explained the Airboss. "Harmansen, Glaskov. I'd expect him in a few minutes."

"Thank you, sir," saluted Christania. "Looking forward to these nuggets, personally."

She turned towards the dock, waiting for them.

Harmansen hunched his shoulders against the biting cold of the winter night. His military issued overcoat did little to stop the heat from leaving his body. Slung over his shoulder was a large duffel bag, which contained everything he thought he would need for this voyage.

Trudging through the snow that covered the ground, he looked ahead. A few hundred yards in front of him stood a figure, silhouetted by a streetlight.

When he reached the figure, he saluted.

"Rupert Harmansen, airman. Reporting for duty."

"Hey, mates," smiled Christania. "She's from the US, of course she's brilliant! Anyway, do you want a tour or do you just want to get to your bunk? I think we're all in the same la chambre, as the French say."

"I'd love a tour" James replied with a smile

"And you, Rupert?" asked Chris. "Don't be suprised by the cold, but I hope we're on a voyage by December! Winters are deadly over here."

"Yeah, I'm Rupert. Don't worry. Kereptecean winters, even in the south, are at least as cold as this."

"OK, I suppose, since you're all pilots, show you the F-16s you're be flying tomorrow on a test flight," she nodded, then started walking towards the aircraft aboard.

"Straight from America, these things are the best planes in the New Darlander Navy and Airforce," she began. "You're be flying along with me, on Squadron One."

"Sounds like good fun" James replied

Ruppert watched pensively as Christania talked about the planes. He had, of course, had plenty of experience with F-16s in his training, but he nevertheless followed every word that the woman said.

"Oh, it will be good fun," laughed Christania, as she started walking inside, towards the Cafeteria.

"Here's the cafeteria," she began. "If this ship goes the way of the USS Enterprise, over one thousand kilograms of food will be eaten here. There's usaully quite good food, supper today is scrambled egg. There's already a lot of the regular staff posts taken, as you can see."

Description: long blonde hair,usually in a bun. Deep dark blue eyes. Her height is 5'5" with long legs. She is caucasian and weighs 112 pounds, looks more like a 19 year old.

Biography: Her father was the world renowned ralkovian experimental plane pilot, Richard Florana. She has been flying ever since she was 8 usually with her father. She joined the ralkovian air force at 19 and do to her experience and her fathers position she got promoted to the rank of captain in the ralkovian air force. While young she has plenty of experience and that was why the ralkovians chose her to join this international aircraft carrier project. She, like her father, is energetic, enthusiastic, and fun loving. She loves fishing and swimming almost as much as she loves flying. Her father and mother died about 4 years ago in an plane crash. She survives it only by ignoring it and usually doesn't like to talk about it to anyone.

She has a recorded 2000 hours flying cessna and other civilian planes, 80 hours in an F-22 and has a recorded 60 hours in an F-16. As well as 2 recorded aerial kills(2 migs) and 1 ground kill(a B-52 about to take off).
