RS Selene, Exengrad, Parilisa
It was the finest ship in Parilisan history. 1,020 ft long and weighing over 137,276 tonnes, she was a majestic and glorious sight. Her 4000 passengers were given luxurious cabins and fantastic service; every piece of food was specially selected to insure its quality and there were almost 5000 bottles of expensive champagne in its hold. Today it was celebrating its 100th voyage; it was to be a moment of pride and achievement for its designers and her Captain was uncontrollably excited.
But, unknown to them all, there was a great threat in their midst. Amongst the rich and famous passengers who had paid hundreds of aurums for a ticket was one very, very dangerous man. A fascist terrorist determined to detonate a small bomb on board; big enough to sink her, but small enough to make it look like an accident.
The Government knew it was about to happen, but they had no idea who or where this terrorist was. For a while they considered cancelling the entire voyage, but the organisers of the event would have none of it and insisted that the ship would sail. And so it happened that the Parilisan Intelligence Agency had sent an agent on board to find and kill the fascist before he could blow up the cruise. Jacob Karr was the best man in the business, but if the terrorist succeeded both he and 4000 others would sink beneath the waves.
Thousands of lives were in the hands of these two men.
