This RP idea is what I came up with in my free time. It is for MT nations who want to try and dip into the realm of FT. Mainly for all The Earth based nations.

The Story:

It is The 24th Century, The Year is 2390. Humankind has started spreading though out The Area of The Orion and Sagittarius Arms of this Milky Way. But Space is not Peaceful as many want. The Nations of Earth Fight, Manipulate and murder for control of Worlds. The whole galaxy is now a fire band as Humanity expands and now, The most deadly race ever will soon fight for control.........with each other.

The Rules and Info:

The Rules

(1): No Godmoding
(2): No Flameing or Flamebaiting.
(3): No Trolling or Grieving.
(4): Play fairly and treat others with respect.
(5) and Remember, Have Fun!

In NS: 2390, you will play your own MT Nations in a FT style. also you will not meet Extraterrestrial Races (no ET Nations in This, but Alien Animals can be allowed.) so mainly, Humans are in this RP.

For FTL Travel, the type of FTL Tech is up to you. You can have anything from Warp Gates to Hyperdrive.

Expanding and starting Colonies is what this is all about. Most of The Nations of Earth have Empires in The Stars now, Empires rise and fall.

The setting is in this Galaxy, namely The Orion and Sagittarius Arms. Most nations will be based on Earth or Space Stations around Earth.

Oh and when Signing up. make a factbook for your FT version of Your own MT nation.

OOC: I'd just like to note my joy that you, TRBI, are dipping into FT. I've heard a lot about you, yet haven't had a chance to RP with you, and I can't be arsed to read threads I'm not involved with.:D

shouldn't it start with a blank slate in space, perhaps some colonies on the moon and other planets but no extrasolar stuff yet

Alright, I think I'll do this because I think this is a fantastic idea, Ryou. I just won't be a terribly active nation, so I figure 400 years in the future, Santheres is still Switzerland. Factbook will be up and coming soon; it'll be short since very little will change.
