History
Beggining
Beldentias meaningfull history starts in 1551 . Spanish explorers reached the coasts of what would soon be called Beldentia. From far off they saw a beautifull natural bay and decided to enter. They landed and imediatly started to forage for valuable recources. At first there were not many but the fertile land and lush forests for houses were a good a good enough reason to settle.
Nueva Amanecer and Rio de la Boca (1552 - 1567)
Architecs were brought in to desing the layout of Nueva Amanecer (New Sun Rise). Construction began at once and by 1552 the city was ready to be fully populated and began to grow.
The colonists branched out from Nueva Amanecer and founded a sister more city Rio de la Boca (River of Mouth, becaue the city is situated at the mouth of the river).
As the colonists moved inland they encoutnerd many natives, some were friendly and others were deadly evil. Military campaigns to push back the nasty Indians worked and the Spanish managed to secure future territory for expansion in 1567.
Prosperity and War (1567-1725)
The Beldentian Colony Coexisted with its Spanish masters for 167 years. Beldentia being an important port colony grew rapidly and became very walethy. Therefore the Spanish kept on imposing more and more taxes to reap the wealth from the colony. These 167 years were followed by 5 years of tension, public pickets and riots ensued in these years untill an all out 2 year Revolutionary War took place in 1723.
The Military Genrals , General R. de Azul and General San Roman were the commanders for the revolutionary war. With thier help the Beldentian Milita pushes back the Spanish with the help of English capital.
Finnaly in 1725, The Peace of Buenos Vientos was signed, liberating Beldentia from spanish rule and recognition as a soverign nation. Also all Spanish troops must be removed from the newly deemed Beldentian Territory.
Struggles (1725- 1798)
Internal struggles insued with the country once again being torn in half because of the indecsion on how to rule the country. General R. de Azul was palced into power and remaind there until 1790 when a revolution took place to overthrow him.
This was because ideas of the French Revolution had reached Beldentia and its citezens wanted this form of democratic gvernment. The country was split in Republicans and Plutcratics. Both wanted to overthrow General Azul but once he was gone this struggle came up. The Aritocrats of Beldentia Wished for a Plutocracy for obvious reason while the rest wanted an equal Republic. In the end the republicans triunphed and it became the new form of government
Forward (1798 - 1880)
The country grow but it was very empty and had almost no population to work the industry. The country began so stop functioning and the economy groudned to a halt
Progress (1880 - 1950)
This is when the great famines,wars and pandemics in Europe helped the growth of Beldentia. Millions and Millions of europeans crossed the Atlantic to the promised lands. This required an expansion of Beldentian territory into lands still riddled with Indians, these new imigrants helped fill the ranks of th army and pushed the indians back to the current Unclaimed lands. This provided more room for new cities and growth.
Beldentias Stance in WWI as completly nuetral as it recieved many imigrants from Europe sidint with one side would greatly hamper internal relations. Although in WWII we could not tolerate Nazi Germanys Acts of destroying human rights and sided with the Allies. This was both a political agreemnet and some recources were also given to the English to help them stand up to the Battle of Britain.
Contemporary
After WWII, Beldntia kept her head down from politcs untill recently, throguht the whole Cold war it remaind neutral but obviously siding idealisticaly with the USA because of its highly capitalistic economy.
After the fall of the USSR Beldnetia decided to come intot he world stage and mkaing any of is Information and Data public to the world view.

Beldentias heart is around the biggest water body under its jurisdiction called Mar Nuestro (Our Sea). After that the country branches out inland into the continent. It has many river that give the land its fertile value with sediments coming from the Indian Land

Geology

Natural Recources : Oil, Gold, Iron, Coal, Uranium, Nickel, Zinc, Plutonium,Natural Gas, Tungsten, Lead Copper, Natural Gas.

After the fertile plains comparable to the Argentine Pampas there a pocket considerable in size that has quite a few geological recources. This is around the area of Corrientes all the way down to the Caminata and several km outwards from this line. The origin of this plentiful pocket of recoures is unkown and our scientesit are trying to uncover its origins

The largest river is Rio de la Boca which cuts the heartland of Beldentia in a North,South fashion. It then stems into 2 rivers. One in the South and another in the north, both go eastwards. The Northern one is called Rio Quilmes and the Southern one Rio Estudiantes
