The Savage Family Vacation (Information/Sign Up)

Neo-Spensonia

Nations of the world! Do you want to show off your nations? The merits of your culture? The beauty of your women? The adorability of your progeny? Well, as it turns out, the Lord Protector of Spensonia is looking to take his family out on a tour of the world in the hopes of enriching the minds of his children and helping himself learn more about other nations. Before you get posting about your willingness to host a visit by Spensonia's most famous family, you really ought to read the following information. Please note that failure to comprehend it will result in instant rejection and it will be numbered so you can understand it more easily then if it was in one large paragraph.

1. The Lord Protector has about three children who will be accompanying him during the visits to your nations with the oldest being sixteen and the youngest being about five. Under no circumstances can any of them be harmed or I will kick you out of the RP because I won't tolerate stuff like that. This goes for the Lord Protector and his wife as well. Please, people, I don't want assassinations and the like. I really don't want to argue with people about it either.

2. Any nation regardless of political background may apply to host the family of the Lord Protector of Spensonia so if you are an anarchist nation a la the Third Spanish States or a devoted Communist nation a la Rumanovia then you may freely join. Please note that the Lord Protector may end up criticizing Communist thought but he doesn't mean to offend. He simply feels that it doesn't work as Marx intended.

3. All applications must have a list of places that the family can visit and some of them must be child-friendly because the Lord Protector doesn't want to have his children bored during the tour of the world. If you wish to post about some places where the Lord Protector and his wife could have some romantic fun alone then feel free to do that. They will probably want to get some alone time. You ought post about your nation's landmarks and what's notable about them.

4. Diplomatic relations will be handled by the Foreign Minister rather then the Lord Protector since he isn't hoping to be bogged down in diplomacy during the world tour he is embarking upon. The Foreign Minister's name is Mikhail Fyodorov and he will answer all of your questions whatever they may happen to be.

5. The oldest child of the Lord Protector is sixteen. After remembering Ralkovia's thread with Miroxia, I've decided that I'm open to having a fling between the sixteen year old son and a girl from your nation. There's also a fourteen year old daughter who is open for a boy you have. Please tell me if you have any ideas; telegram Neo-Ixania since Neo-Spensonia is a puppet of Neo-Ixania.

6. Unlike Lamoni who created multiple threads for his world tour all at once, I'll be creating one thread at a time for each nation visited. PLEASE TELL ME IN ADVANCE IF POSSIBLE if you will be unable to either continue RPing in a thread or if you are unable to participate before the family visits your nation. RL always comes before NS. If you want to continue a thread when you get back, if you do, we can do that.

7. Isa, if you are going to read this, I do hope you'll understand that I've decided not to do the world tour with the leader of Aresium but, instead, I've decided to do this one here.

8. This is the OOC thread from here on out.

9. Let's just have fun!

From: The Chazakain Foreign Ministry
To: The Lord Protector of Spensonia

The Lord Protector is welcome to visit Chazaka.
Mt. Erebes is always available for tourists, where the lord protector('s children) can visit our visitor center detailing the history of the volcano and the general area around it. The volcano is currently dormant so should be safe enough if you would like a closer peek.

If that does not interest you we have a space center that is almost always open for tourists infact we will be launching a commutation satellite soon if you would care to watch and if you or your family is of the more military sort we will be having training exercise on our training island around the time you would arrive. It would be quite easy to hook up any of your children with a local if requested.(Our vice president Apollo has two children the right age and gender who would love to show them around.)

If your family would like to learn more about Chazakain politics we could show them around the Senate Building(s) and/or the Presidental "Palace"

The Lord Protector of Spensonia would be pleased to visit the Communist State of North Calaveras and sees no problem in having a pilot fly his kids in a fighter jet. He is glad to see that North Calaveras refuses to let ideological differences get in the way of friendship between nations. Thank you for your interest.

The Lord Protector is definately interested in visiting Chazaka and would like to make it known that the volcano is definately interesting enough for him to pay a visit with his wife and children as would be the military exercises and the space center with the upcoming launch. Basically, all the stuff you said will be seen. The children of the Lord Protector would not mind being shown around by the children of your vice president; they will behave in your nation as they would back in Spensonia and, we are sure, will not cause any problems.

OOC: How is that possible for your population? Yes, the Lord Protector will visit your nation.

OOC: a recent civil war and brutal civil war, killed many of the men and woman 16-58. When most of the adults were dead, the children formed their own government, and on of the first acts of the new president, was to issue a bounty on anyone who was born before a certain date, basically anyone over the age of 16, for genocide. The punishment was death. The the new president lead the young military, on a campaign of Senicide, which apparently you can get away with, as nobody did anything about it. So yea, basically things are a bit rocky right now. Oh, by the way, I don't know if this affects your visit, but the new president, was selected, for his popularity, and is a popular jock, who is dumber than a tree.

Bears Armed
22-11-2008, 12:50
The Lord Protector and his family are welcome to tour Bears Armed, if they're willing to acknowledge the existence of sapient non-humans. If so, then they would experience a thriving civilisation of Ursines (& minority-groups of several other origins, too) with all of its wonders...

Some possible sites for visiting _

Council Groves. Our capital city, where you could [potentially] meet members of any & all of the nation's differing clans.

'The Falls of Bauross'. Located on the River Surra, where this forms part of our border with the nation of Mikitivity, this consists of three Niagara-scale sets of waterfalls within a distance of just a couple of miles along the river. (This site has religious significance to the locals, so tourists are asked to behave 'respectfully'.)

'Mount ThunderFire'. A more-or-less dormant volcano, with hot springs & geysers in the national park that surrounds it. (ditto)

'The City of the Way'. An entire city (Well, by most nations' standards, a medium-sized town...) that's built around the centres of the 'Eightwayist' religion (similar to Buddhism), with temples that are open to [polite] visitors of other faiths and numerous public ceremonies.

One or another of the [well-developed] gambling industry's better casinos.

One of the main treacle-mining & refining areas, with a guided tour of the works and a 'presentation pack' of their products.

We also have numerous national parks, other nature reserves, sites of special cultural importance, sporting contests, concert venues, and so on: Just let us know what sort of things these potential visitors would find most interesting...
Do any of these possible guests include fishing amongst their hobbies?

(The Lord Protector could bring a reasonable level of his own security along, or could rely on the 'honour guard' that our own government would provide if one was requested.)
Mizth-Sonika
22-11-2008, 18:24
You are welcome to come to Mizth-Sonika! We hope you will

See and do:

Thunder Peak So named because of the ammount of lighting strikes annually. It's one amazing light-show! (Warning: We advise you and your family to remain at the base of the mountain and in a enclosed vehicle)

Holy Church of Mizth-Sonika The largest Church in the country is also where the Royal Family worships. Religious services along with symponic concerts are given here.

Malza Springs National Park A lovely hotbed of geothermal and steam acitivty. Sulfer free hotsprings and relaxing forests

Sky World A large ammusment park full of great rides, fun games and decent foot all at very reasonable prices. Great variety of healthy and great tasting foods are served if you are health concious or if you want the good old fassioned Chesse Burger, Mizth-Sonika makes the best.

MalzSal Mountains A long and beautiful mountain range great for hiking and camping. Warning, these mountains extend into neighboring countries. Do not venture to far west through the mountain pass, best stay on an Easternly track or remain in a small radial area.

Stay Safe:

The Kingdom is a very safe country, however it's had it's problems and both domestic and foreing. If walking out late at night, always stay very close together in a group, stay in well lit areas. Again crime is not very rampant but always better safe than sorry.

Watch the skies, Mizth-Sonika averages well over a hundred thunderstorms annually. Thunder Peak having the greatest ammount of lighting strikes. As such Mizth-Sonika sees a fair share of tornadoes and tropical storms, always consult weather reports before extended day trips outside of any of the cities.

Always keep valuables in a safe place, all hotels have locked safes, keep wallet and money in a front pocket or jacket pocket.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES wander far west into the Malzan West Jungles. They are extremly dangerous and littered with mines.

Please Respect:

Malzan people are very religious and very conservative. As such we do our best to respect others wishes, but we do not like our values threatened or attacked.

Take note also most business are closed on Sundays including all Government offices. (exculding police, fire and medical) The Tourist Ministry and Foreing Affairs Ministry however do have emergency numbers if something goes wrong. These are in your hotel guide books.

To all nations who want to join in and who have joined in: Please post what method of transporation the family should use to get to your nations.
Chazaka
23-11-2008, 00:30
Your family can arrive through Chazakain Air Lines which has operations in all major airports, or they can arrive from the sea due to Chazaka's Position in the Southern/Mid Atlantic and having all sides towards the sea, or they can arrive to our allies to the north/south and drive into Chazaka. (Air would be easiest, by sea would be the coolest) If you do indeed go to training isle you must take a short boat ride, i hope your family has their sea legs because that area can become quite ruff.

You can come to the Empire of the Wolf if you like, we've got plenty to see and do.

Megalopolis One - The capital of the Empire of the Wolf and with over 5 billion inhabitants, it is one of the world's largest cities and houses almost the entirety of the Atopian population. The fact that this city exists is a marvel of engineering, but there are also plenty of sights to see such as:
- A full-size replica of one of the tungsten orbital weapons used by Axis Nova to devastate Atopiana during the One-Day war
- The Chamber of the Stars, where the Imperial Assembly meets to advise the Emperor and his Paw
- The Imperial Palace, a huge Gothic-style fortress set right in the heart of the city. Here the Emperor lives and conducts most of his day-to-day business.
- Various museums and art galleries, including the Imperial Museum of Shoes

The Atopian Wastes - once the countryside of Atopiana was lush and fertile, but now all that can be found out in the Wastes is ash, decay, deserted ruins and the occasional fortress established by the Empire in an attempt to reclaim the Wastes. Although travel deep into the Wastes is not recommended, there are several areas that are patrolled extensively which include several ghost towns.

Wolfport One - The Empire's main space centre. From here, there are monthly flights from here up to SkyEye, the Empire's first space station. Wolfport One also houses a small space museum detailing the Empire's accomplishments in space and before that, those of the Pact of Iron.

Skgorria City - the capital of the Imperial Province of Skgorria, it is substantially smaller than Megolopolis One but is still a major metropolis with close to three quarters of a billion inhabitants. Most of the architecture dates from the late nineteenth or the early twentieth century, giving the city a true feeling of history. History is not the city's only concern however, as in Skgorria City can also be found:
- Travel by Tastebuds, the largest international food court in the Empire, with close to a thousand different stalls.
- The Imperial Ballet Theatre. Constructed during the Tsarist era, it has miraculously survived several wars and is still the premier ballet of the region.
- Splashport! The Empire's largest waterpark. Constructed during the Nazi era, this waterpark is renowned for 'the Stuka', a waterslide almost fifty metres tall.

If you do decide to come to the Empire, you can take a private jet and fly to the Emperor's personal airfield at his palace in Megolopolis One.
Bears Armed
23-11-2008, 14:53
The best way of getting to Bears Armed, at least at this time of the year (when the northern seas are generally too storm-ridden for safe passage) would be by flying into our western neighbour Mikitivity and then continuing onwards either aboard one of the airships which that country's long-established national airline operates or by the (recently-completed) international rail-link.
Alternatively, if your party can get to WA Headquarters, there's a 'portal' connection from that site directly to our capital city.
