It wasn't long before the sound of artillery was sounding in the air as the border was lit on fire from North Calaverian artillery. To long had the Imperial States of Southern Calaveras defied there brother from the North, who if it wasn't for them, there states of Imperialism wouldn't exist. The one thing North Calaveras had on the South Calaverians was military power, which they used to ruthless efficienty. The reports of deaths were already coming in from both sides. The first and perhaps greatest battle of this war was still coming. For at the border ammassed were over thirty thousands tanks from both sides. The black and white hammer and sickle of North Calaveras flew from one of there grey painted tanks, showing a new form of Communism that would sweep across them like a black plague. The Patriotic National Communist Party demanded reuniting Calaveras into one force.

Airspace above border

The smashing of the airforces was immediate, over thirty North Calaverian MiG-29 and MiG-21 engaged South Calaverian F-15's. Both forces saw eachother slammed into the ground after being hit by missle and gun fire. Total war was happening to the two countrys, one could only wonder what the end result would be. BlackJack bombers were already hitting key military targets in the Imperial states.

Ground

The gunfire was terrible, North Calaverian T-90's ran into M1A1 Abrams from the Imperialists. The fire volley dealt heavy damage to the grey T-90's, destroying twenty and damaging ten more. The T-90's answerd back, and with deadly results destroying over thirty M1A1's. It was a matter of numbers the South Calaverian army was small, although effective for its size. The border was being overrun with North Calaverian ground forces which consisted of over three hundred thousand men and various military vehicles such as APC's, tanks, and anti-air units. The People's Legion engaged the Imperial Army, bullets shattering limbs and tearing through flesh. The two countrys were spilling eachothers blood by the tub full.

OOC: would you mind if a Mokan Volunteer corps joined the conflict?

OCC: only allied help is good, this is the story where NC reunites calaveras, ill let you do it as long as you do news as well.

Mokastana Volunteer Corps Base Alpha

The Mokan Volunteer Corps was a small democratic army based out of Tierra Nueva, with its Headquarters in Nuevo Orleans it would take votes on where and what it would do. So far the corps had over 100,000 members, all weapons supplied by the Mokan Government and many more by the Mokastana Bureau of Secret Affairs. Both had much to gain by having an army capable of deploying without the repercussions of "declaring war."

So far records showed that 12,435 members who voted wanted to assist the reunification of Calveras. Enough to form a Unit to deploy.

A message was sent to the North Calveras government, notifying them that in two months a Regiment of 12,000 Mokan volunteers would arrive, they would be armed with Lyran vehicles and Mokan weaponry. Details were still sketchy, but the Red Star of Mokastana would be on the field.

Zanski feels threatened by the reunification of North and South Calaveras, as we still hold territory on the western area of North Calaveras, as our Tur Kalavar province, where twenty million Zansk migrants form the plurality, along with twenty-one million Calaverans.
