There has been a discussion about wether or not the monarchy should be abolished. There have been many suggestions about if the monarchy were to be abolished, what the makeup of the new government should be. Will there be a president, king, or prime minister to be head of government?

as a civil rights group known as the crazy socialists of West Havanabron, we believe that the system put into place should be a parliamentary democracy with no fixed written constitution, the system should be highly federalised with local government based on a system of shires being responsible for amenities such as gas and electricity and social needs such as education and health.

the parliament should be two chambered, the main house should be elected by first past the post and have a speaker elected from its members to hold order within it any legislation to be passed by a majority vote.

the second chamber should be elected by proportional representation to allow special interest groups a place in politics but should only have the power to accept or reject bills passed by the upper chamber and accept or reject government appointments, it may also amend bills and pass them back to the upper chamber to be debated again.

at the head of government should be a prime minister elected through a system similar to a presidential primary, each party holds internal elections which then pass to national elections, as many candidates as there are parties stand and the election should progress in rounds, one candidate being removed each round (as well as any candidate that scores under 5% of the vote)

the prime minister is the head of state having according powers, any appointments to his cabinet have to be ratified by both houses.

local government should consist of a mayor in each town elected in the same fashion as the prime minister and regional governors for rural areas elected in the same way, local government should be elected through first past the post system.

every citizen should be entitled to vote from the age of 16, be entitled to stand in any election and have the right to trial by jury of peers for any offence.

supreme courts judges should be elected into office and can only interprate law presented to them by the houses of parliament, judges should be elected outside of party politics, no party may put a judge up for election. basic judges should be elected for every 10 000 people and be selected from people who come from backgrounds of diligent competent public service.
