Sudden Revelation (FT;Closed, ATTN Sith Council)

OOC: This is open only to the Sith Council and others whom have worked out things with me.

IC:

The battleship Darth Rilven had escaped on soon began its transition into real space with ripples of pseudo-space that had the ship rocketing into normal view out of hyperspace. The Sith Lord sat in the Captain's chair as Deschel barked out orders. Fighters were launched to cover the battleship and messages were sent to the small garrison force used to protect the system from pirates. Two frigates and a cruiser were all that was used to protect the system aside from Rilven's flagship. Deschel finished speaking and walked over, bowing.

"We are prepared, Milord. The Lady awaits you in the Inner Sanctum. She appears to have a guest, a one Balroggan named Atrox. He is apparently a powerful Sith Lord whom has passed her trials. She has sent word of your expected attendance." He hesitated and Rilven turned to focus his mask on him.

"What is it, Captain? I sense fear in your thoughts. Do not hide things from me, I do not appreciate such lies."

Deschel cringed and then nodded. "Y-yes. It would appear that a tracking device was planted on our ship. It's design and markings reveal that it's of make common to the Sith Order. The Library has been found." He went to one knee, head bowed in shame. "Forgive me my lord, I have failed. I accept full responsibility."

Rilven was silent as he gazed at the kneeling Captain. He then reached down and the man tensed, preparing to die when he was hauled to his feet. "On your feet, Captain. It is not your fault, nor can I expect you to catch so small a thing. Notify the Lady and her forces, and bring us to high alert. I have already sent for a meeting with another potential ally and he should be able to aid us in our defense. Now go!"

Deschel shakily saluted and proceeded to bark out more orders as Rilven left. His cloak fluttered behind him as he headed down to the hangar. His two guards waited, faithful as always. Making a small motion with his hand, the guards fell into line behind him into the dropship which took them down to the planet. This unknown world was a great place of the dark side, and yet it had strange beauty to it. Beautiful red and black flowers, strange ruins and extensive river systems. Underground a massive basin was the Sith Library, a temple to Sith glory and a pseudo-Academy to teach prospective Sith. It was to redeem Sith might and bring out those whom would rise above the filth that was "Sith" today. All this had been done by the Librarian herself, the Lady of the Sith....Dartha Annilus. Rilven's shuttle shot through an open hole in the basin, only for it to close behind him and cloak, hiding it from sensors. The shuttle landed and Rilven made his way through the facility. Veteran Sith soldiers and Dark Jedi, trained to protect the Library, all moved out of Rilven's way and bowed. Soon Rilven came to the Inner Sanctum, where guard's similar to his own bowed and opened the doors. Inside was an black marble room filled with great art and architecture, and a large garden. Sitting at a table, drinking tea, with a strange-looking being, whose Force presence baffled Rilven and a lady dressed in armor with a flowing cape and a mask that hid her all of her face but her mouth and neck. Darth Annilus (http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k308/Nirokasa/Sith_Empress_by_namesjames.jpg) turned to gaze at Rilven and waved him over.

"Greetings, Lord Rilven. Come sit, and meet our new acquaintance." Rilven made a motion for his guards to stay and walked over to take a sit, glancing at Atrox.

"Whom, may I ask, is this?"

Annilus smiled, her eyes hidden by the mask. "This is Lord Atrox, a master of a recently created New Sith Order. He came when the beckoning call of my Library reached him and he passed the trials quite easily. We have been discussing matters concerning Sith revival." She turned to Atrox and waved at Rilven. "This is Darth Rilven, my first and most successful Sith that I have trained through this Library. Now, I would like to continue, but we have matters to deal with." She set down her tea cup and looked at Atrox.

"It would seem that enemies have come to our doorstep. Lord Rilven here discovered a Sith Order that was reforming itself and calling for Sith Lords. Seeking to determine their worth and see if he should lead them here, he went there to become of the Lords. However, he soon found them to be disgusting shades of Sith, dishonoring the name and proving my point that this Library needed to be formed to ensure Sith did not become what they are. They seemed to have tracked him here and will probably seek to destroy us. I have forces to protect me but it may not be enough. If you would be so kind to aid us, you would have my deepest gratitude."

Rilven waited for Atrox's response while wondering when the Sith would arrive. His potential ally should be arriving soon but if they did not come fast enough, the Library would be in great danger. Suddenly, he felt his communicator sound. Taking it out, he activated.

"Yes, Captain?"

"They've arrived, sir. The Sith have come with their fleet."

Rilven glanced at Annilus before speaking. "Stick to the plan. Let them come to us. Our defense stations and ships should be able to hold them at bay, for a time."

Atrox set aside his own tea cup. The delicate carved glass decanter sat alongside the teapot he had brought with him as a gift. The container was filled with Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearl green tea he had brought. He had first imported the stuff directly from Earth but once a place was created, he has his apprentices grow it at the New Sith Order academy on Lehon. Each was hand rolled into a tiny pearl which would open up when infused. It really made the best tasting tea in both galaxies he had tasted so far and he made it a gift to The Librarian.

Atrox stood to his full two meter height and did an intricate bow when introduced. He spoke using a voice that was not insect-like nor was it mechanical in any way. It sounded like the speaker was clearly human. Modern voice synthesization made them undetectable from the real thing long ago.

“It is a great Honor to meet you. If you are the prize student of my host then you are Great indeed.”

Atrox returned to his seat, his ebon armor moving as if it was skin even though it was made out of some unidentifiable black metal. He listened carefully to the words of Darth Annilus, his hostess before responding.

“Of course, I will help defend your Honor from there Ragers. Delusional Ragers who think they deserve to wear the honorific title of Sith deserve nothing better than being put out of their misery. You have my assistance but to what extent? What do you desire?”

“I can call for reinforcements but it would take some time for them to arrive. I have my shuttle here and I will direct it to take offensive actions. I can even have it disassemble and create a station if you need, perhaps even a Forge if enough materials can be found in time.”

Annilus jumped a little, as if startled by his claim. "I am not familiar with your people's technology, Lord Atrox, but I do not see how a shuttle can battle enemy ships, even cruisers, by itself. If you can call for reinforcements, that would be beneficial. The ultimate goal is to ensure the Library remains safe and the artifacts unharmed. Any loss will be disastrous to the quality of future Sith."

Rilven nodded. "A station, unless you could construct it within minutes, would not be beneficial as of this moment, as it would only buy us a little time, nothing more. We essentially need a concrete force that will enable us to destroy this Sith threat, which will not only protect the Library but vastly weaken this pathetic Sith Order."

“Ask and ye shall receive. Please allow my shuttle to leave your landing bay and I will explain why we have several minutes to respond before they are able to attack.”

After getting the required permission from The Librarian, Atrox reached out through the Link his armor possessed with his shuttle. He gave several commands to the Shipmind and returned his attention back to his hosts.

“OK, I have given my orders to my shuttle. I will now explain.”

Darth Atrox spread his hands and generated a photonic illusion of the system centered on the planet where The Library lay. While he spoke, the map zoomed in on what he was talking about showing real time details of the ship’s positioning.

“…as you already knew, the only way they could have followed you was to use Hyperspace otherwise the distance would have separated your ship from theirs and the tracking signal would have been lost. That means they are bound by the natural laws of hyperspace Travel which means they cannot arrive near the planet or any other source of gravity wells. Your ship has the entire system mapped within its nav computer while theirs do not. This means they will have to arrive outside the immediate range of the planet to avoid from jumping into a solid object. Their safeties will prevent them from arriving too close. This means they have to use their sub-light drives to approach the rest of the way. This buys us time to set up defenses.”

Atrox paused while the map showed his shuttle (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v248/beldragos/AtroxsShuttle.jpg)entering orbit. Once it achieved orbit, it pulled into position on the front line where it waited for the invaders.

Lord Kilont arrived in orbit above the planet. With him were all loyal Sith, pirate forces, and even some rouge Charzakian vessels. Vessels included 1 super dreadnaught, 5 dreadnaughts, 10 cruisers, 13 corvettes, and 7 pirate cruisers.
(ooc: all stats are in my nation's factbook except for pirate cruisers which are just corvettes.)
30 starfighter squadrens began pouring out of the capital ships. From his command room on the Death's Head, the only super dreadnaught in the fleet, he sent a message to this unknown location in a code that hadn't been used since the Charzakians brought life to Earth.
Tell the Pirate Leader Lumiya to hold position untill we call for her. When we do tell her to jump with all weapons charged.
All ships opened fire on the front line while the Death's Head sharged her superlaser.

The planetary defenses came online as the enemy Sith fleet arrived. The only standing Sith forces, being the two frigates, a single cruiser, and Rilven's battleship, the Silent Shadow, stood at the ready, with their fighter and bomber squadrons deployed. The planet had only about eight defense platforms, but they were good ones. They had good armor, heavy shielding and had all the weapons the makers could fill them with. Plenty of point defense lasers, heavy turbolasers and three proton torpedo launchers to quickly put the pain down. And so it was that the battle over the Library began.

Captain Deschel stood on the bridge of the Silent Shadow, watching as the enemy squadrons began to pour out of the enemy fleet. As expected, they far outnumbered their own. But their fighter pilots were well-trained, and veterans of countless battles in the name of their master. Shields and weapons were powered and as the fleet began to close in on them, enemy fire began to lance towards them. They still had some distance to go before reaching most of their weapons, but it was bound to be a starfighter battle for the beginning anyways. As the fighters roared in to attack, they faced a hail of fire from the small fleets point defense lasers and the defense stations, filling space with energy fire that would end many enemy pilots lives.

Then as they fired, the small few squadrons available to Rilven's forces charged forth and engaged, firing tracking missiles to do some damage before laying about them with their energy cannons, filling space with explosions and darts of light. Deschel saw some blasts hit his shields but knew they would hold. More worryingly. He saw the super dreadnought powering up something. The energy levels could only mean one thing....super laser. He gritted his teeth and prepared for the worst. This battle was going to be ugly.

He waved a hand to the comm officer, whom opened an encrypted channel to the planet.

"Lord Rilven, we have engaged the enemy. But they have a super laser. We need reinforcements and quickly!"

**********

"Lord Rilven, we have engaged the enemy. But they have a super laser. We need reinforcements and quickly!"

Rilven held up his communicator. "Just hold the line, Captain. We have allies on their way. Just try to dodge that blast as best you can and hold tight."

He gazed at Atrox as he turned off the communicator. "I have someone coming to aid us but whatever you can do to aid us is paramount. Defenses, ships, whatever. I must warn you, they have a super laser capable ship, so things will be tough."

*****

Meanwhile, as the battle continued, Deschel's officers noticed a strange anomaly in the system. A large field of space was being distorted by a massive and fluctuating set of readings. The type was unknown and they could get any idea as to what they could be. They informed the Captain, whom merely said if it was more ships, it did not matter. They had to hold, no matter the cost.

Lord Kilont stood at attention on the bridge. "My lord, the super laser is charged."
"Good. Fire on the lead capital ship. Ignore the battlestations for now."
The super laser fired at the Silent Shadow. The beam was strong enough to destroy anything from a super-dreadnaught down and could rip right through battlestation shields and cause hull damage.

A small stealth ship arrived in the same sector and watched as the battle progressed,"Lord Rasada, Senator Vextor wants to know if he should send ships in to help this Kilont," a ralkovian warbot spoke."For now tell him to wait, I shall enjoy this battle dearly," Rasada said chewing on an apple.

Sire, the Ragers have arrived

Atrox looked up for a moment as Shipmind spoke to him through the Kython link connecting his suit with the ship. Shipmind began to feed him a tactical overview of the battle which he used to update the photonic illusion he was projecting so there was an up to the second live action display of what was happening in orbit.

I am picking up additional ships as well as what appears to be some cloaked ones. Their dimensional displacement plainly shows there are ships where other sensors find none.

Excellent, keep them under observation but pretend they are not noticed. We will turn their cloaks against them.

Sir, I am reading a power buildup in the lead enemy vessel. Reading point to the possibility of a super laser.

You know the standard procedure for super lasers. Take actions as you see fit. I will coordinate defenses from planet side while you take care of things there. If you have to, disengage and swarm.

I understand Sire.

Atrox turned to his hostess.

“I think things are about to get fun. You will soon see what my simple shuttle can do.”

In Orbit:

As The Death’s Head fired, a silver streak shot sideways in front of The Silent Shadow. The 15 meter shuttle held position in the direct firing path of the super laser. Sensors on The Death’s Head would register a massive power surge in the small craft as their own laser fired. Charged protons hurled toward the miniscule shuttle standing defiantly in-between attacker and defender. A massive incandescent bolt of energy bore down on the little craft to suddenly and without explanation vanished about a hundred meters in front of the shuttle. For a few seconds both sides could only look on wondering what the heck happened.

After a couple seconds, the energy bolt was reborn out of seemingly nothingness in the same place it disappeared with one exception, it was returning to where it originated.

In the Library, Atrox could feel the bewilderment in both Rilven and in Annilus.

“Let me explain what just happened."

"My shuttle has employed an old defense the Ta’Nar developed long ago to combat the use of Super Lasers. We mastered wormhole technology and used our expertise to create something we called a Mobius Construct where we created a wormhole bent back upon itself so it uses the same opening for both the entrance and the exit. This means space warps and turns the straight shot back upon itself, sending it to the point of origin, usually destroying not only the Super Laser but also the ship or platform it is located upon.”

Atrox waited a moment for the technological discussion to register before beginning again.

“My shuttle slid in front of your defender and activated the Mobius Construct. The energy entered the tunnel of warped space and looped back upon itself leaving in the direction it came from. Now without The Death’s Head, the rest of the ships should quickly fall.”

“Please keep an eye on the ships marked green on the display, they appear to be cloaked ships but without Dimensional technology, they were not able to disguise their dimensional footprint. I suggest we pretend they are not there and use them to our advantage. If we cannot detect them then their allies cannot either. Perhaps we could use the fighters to lead other ships into collisions with the cloaked ships. It would take two birds out with a single shot.”

"How predictable."
"My lord our shields won't hold against the laser!"
"Watch and learn."
Lord Kilont opened him self up to the force. He suddenly lashed out and the force spread in all directions. The laser vanished.
"Incredible!"
"All ahead full. Make them pay. All batteries fire on that shuttle. Fleet defensive formation! Bombers concentrate your fire on the shuttle, fighters give them some cover."

Without more specific details of your attack there is very little to go on other than you posted "All ahead full. Make them pay. All batteries fire!".

Where are you attacking, What are you attacking with, What tactics are you using, or are you even aiming at specific ships or even subsystems of ships. Without details there cannot be a proper response unless we make stuff up in an attempt to try and figure out what you might have meant.

Sire, it seems the redirected laser fire has been somehow dissipated. I am not sure how this is possible.

The Rager used some sort of ability. Hopefully it needs a recharge time before its next use. The Force energy needed to counter one of those is immense. One cannot quickly replace the expenditure easily.

Sir, it appears they are concentrating fire upon me. The Mobius Aperture is still operational so nothing will get to me from the front.

I will ask the defense fleet to cover your flanks. If you are about to be damaged, drop the Aperture and disengage your form. You have permission to Swarm. Your only target restrictions are allies with life signs or unmanned stations that are not damaged. If they are wrecked and dead, incorporate them.

I understand Sire.

With that Shipmind brought its attention to defense of itself. It maintained the Mobius Aperture or Construct to return enemy fire back to its source. The lasers, kinetic weapons, and missiles were devoured by the unseen aperture and through a warping in space-time, hurled back at their sources.

Rilven and Annilus watched in wonder as the Balroggan shuttle repelled the super laser and shot it back at the enemy ship. Annilus shook her head and chuckled. "I must say, your technology shocks me, Lord Atrox. Your people are powerful indeed." She glanced at how the enemy fleet began to form into a defense formation and launch their fighters at the shuttle. "To make them fear your shuttle so much to make a much large fleet become so hesitant."

When the super laser was forced to vanish, both she and Rilven had merely stared at the screen and narrowed their eyes. She made a motion and Rilven began to send orders to Deschel.

**************

Deschel had watched as the Aperture deflected the super laser and protected them from the massive barrage from the enemy fleet. He sighed and smiled. For once, they had something going their way in this battle. He then noticed they began to pull into defensive formations and sent their fighters on attack patterns towards the shuttles. He turned to the officers on the bridge. "Have the frigate take the left flank and the cruiser the right of the shuttle and all fighters are to fall upon the enemy flanks and rear. Hurry!"

The enemy fighters rushed in to attack the shuttle, but were quickly coming under fire by the two ships point defense system. And they were getting hammered from the sides and rear by the Sith fighters. Extensive damage could be done by this really swift attack but only time would tell how effective it would be. Deschel kept up the fire of the battleship on the enemy fleet targeting one of the enemy frigates to take it out. They hoped reinforcements would come soon as only the platforms could put a real dent in the enemy fleet and even only for a time. He then noticed the Balroggan data on the stealth ships and two fighters heading for the Balroggan. He sent out orders for two squadrons to keep an eye on it and would jump on the two ships when they came within range.

Darth Atrox bowed to his Hostess as custom dictated. “I thank you for your compliment. The enemy that is made to hesitate with the least of your weapon will surely flee when you bring your greater weapons to bear upon them. In 6 minutes my reinforcements will arrive. We will then see what their response will be toward an armed craft.”

Sire

Yes Shipmind?

The enemy is attempting to send boarding craft against me as well as deployment of a couple bombers.

Keep sending data to my suit even after you Swarm, I will make sure it is relayed to the defense forces.

Yes Sire.

Atrox turned to Darth Annilus. “My craft will continue to relay sensor data to my suit. Please allow it to be distributed freely among the defense forces. Remember to ignore the ones marked as cloaked so we can use them as splatter targets for pursuing fighters. Lead their forces right into them.”

Three ships had taken critical damage from the returned laser blasts. They were nothing but fodder and formed s protective barrier for the fleet. They were almost gone before Kilont grew angry.
"I am through playing around!"
Kilont then attempted to reach out with the force and enter the mind of a weapons officer in one of the space stations. He tried to force the officer to give the command to fire all weapons at the shuttle. Hopefully the shuttle would be distracted long enough for a boarding shuttle to reach it.

What you do is describe the attempt and the other player gets to figure if your attempt is sucessful. It would be the same as if I used my abilities to cause every captain in your attack force to self destruct your ships. I would be controling your character without your permission calling your damage and destroying everything in a single (and boring) cheap shot. Like I noted, that makes the story boring.

I would suggest you edit your post to read something line this:

Kilont then attempted to reach out with the force and enter the mind of a weapons officer in one of the space stations. He tried to force the officer to give the command to fire all weapons at the shuttle.

That describes your attempt to the other player and allows him to decide if the officers in question might be out of range, force resistant, or just stubborn and hard to influence... possibly a mix of all three. You never know with another player's characters.

I arranged with him to let one of your bording shuttles slip through the flank defense and I will let you attach onto the shuttle if you wish to attempt a boarding. If you noticed, I acknowleged your boarding attempt in Shipmind's report to Atrox.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact either of us and we will help.

OOC: Sith Lords have not done anything like that before. That is something beyond them especially due to distance, control, and everything. They are not THAT powerful. And again, you still have not finished editing. BY controlling ANY of my forces, you are godmodding. I have not given permission for you to do so and its bad etiquette. Please change. You can easily just overwhelm my fighters, which I was PLANNING on having happen and threaten the shuttle that way.

The battle continued, as fierce as before. The enemy fighters pushed on and on, and the combined efforts, as well-organized and drilled they were, they could not hold back the press of the numerically-superior fighters. Explosions punctuated the space around them as several Sith fighters exploded, sending their pilots to their deaths. The cruiser and frigate began to struggle, as constant strafing runs began to eat away at their shields, which in combination with the fleet, began to go down rather quickly. The battleship held strong, but even it would not last for long.

The Sith Lord reached out to one of the weapons officers and began to try and coerce him to his will. The man began to shake his head, trying to clear his suddenly hazy mind. Rilven and Annilus soon realized what was going on and focused their wills to combat Kilont. Together, they began to focusing on pushing him out of the weapon's officer mind, using all their skill and might in the Force. The shuttle would be safe as long as they continued to work in concert.

However, while they were stalemating him on a spiritual level, the physical level could not be denied. Two of the three squadrons were wiped out and the enemy fighters, escorting the boarding shuttles, raced through, heading for the Balroggan shuttle which had found itself the center of this raging battle.

Sire, it appears a boarding shuttle has broken through the defense fire. It is approaching my port side.

I understand, the Ragers are attacking the minds of the defense platform gunners and the True Sith here are working to protect them. Distracting them apparently let the Ragers to slip a ship through.

What are your wishes?

Let them board. Expose the starboard exterior door and allow them to initiate automatic connections.

Yes Sir

After that I believe the standing orders will cover their actions. Have fun.

Oh, I will.

Darth Atrox looked over at the two Sith Lords standing near him. They were both concentrating still on keeping the gunner’s minds free from foreign influence. They were both staring intently at the holographic display of the battle he was projecting. A small corner of the screen where there were not any units to display filled with an inset window depicting the shuttle and the approaching boarding vessel.

In Orbit:

The shuttle held position as if it was unaware of the approaching vessel. On the side away from the soldier laded craft the hull shimmered and began to flow as if it was liquid. Black metal flowed away from a newly revealed airlock and formed a docking ring. When the alien vessel curved around the shuttle, the docking hatch was found to be extremely adaptable and useable for their purpose.

OOC:

You can take over the boarding action until you get inside. The shuttle has no weapons other than a few defensive tricks like the Mobius Aperture thing so there will be no weapons fire from me but you are still within firing range of the defense fleet behind me.

ooc: just making sure :)

The boarding ship approached the shuttle. Seeing the ship actually expose an airlock made the 10 Sith apprentices inside very nervous. The boarding ship docked and as soon as the airlock opened 8 of the apprentices ran inside lightsabers ignited. Seeing no immidiate danger the remaining two entered with slaves and droids. Five human slaves packed with explosives, 10 destroyer droids, (ooc: the ones that roll and have shield generators) and 5 demolition droids began to work and destroying the ship.

In Orbit:

As the airlock latched onto the docking ring, Shipmid carefully monitored the progress of the boarding team. Sensors could detect them on the other side of the door and without any problems the door opened, as if they were expected. The air pressure equalized automatically as the door opened showing the interior of the small 15 meter shuttle.

The eight apprentices rushed in to find a very small interior, they barely had room to stand and with their sabers lit, they were in danger of doing an extreme amount of harm to each other considering the size of the space involved. The apprentices were careful not to puncture the hull of the shuttle or they might get sucked through a two inch hole as the air pressure would have pushed them through pulverizing bone and tissue painfully. Seeing they were greeted by illuminated screens and the overhead lights showed them the entire ship was absolutely empty they called the rest of the boarding team. Unfortunately there was no room for them and the last two apprentices and the slaves with the explosives were forced to wait in the airlock. The fifteen droids would have to wait for the living to vacate the compartment before they would even see past the backs of the slaves ahead of them.

It was small indeed and the apprentices were looking around for any sign of the occupants when a female face flickered into existence floating over the pilot’s seat.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v248/beldragos/Morganna.jpg

“I must protest. You have no authorization to be here. You must turn around and exit at once or else. There will be no second opportunity to leave.”

Seeing they were not (The droids were in the way) the hologram frowned and shook her head.

“I see you are not civilized so I will have to deal with you in my own way.”

The surfaces of the shuttle turned black and liquefied. The air pressure burst it like a balloon and fragments flew everywhere propelled by the atmosphere of the boarding shuttle. Like a cannon, inertia would cause the living and the droids to expel away from the boarding craft.

As the doomed organics looked on with burning lungs, expelling digestive tracks, boiling circulatory systems, and bulging eyes as their bodies depressurized the last sight they would see is the black blobs of the liquid metal forming rough humanoid shapes. They were the lucky ones for they would not survive long without help. The droids were not dependent upon air so they would be able to monitor everything that happened next.

The vague humanoid shapes that formed out of the black metal continued to morph. Legs and arms, more than needed grew out of the liquid shape until there was two pair of each. A rough head formed without eyes but a snout full of teeth was present. Within the gullet there was a slight glow as if raw energy coursed within. The body was vaguely insectoid but also reptilian at the same time and a row of black metal spines ran down the back.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v248/beldragos/Kythonbeta.jpg

There were fifty Kythons and they were not floating helpless in space.

About half of them streaked off to the boarding ship, foot long brilliant purple blades extending from the ends of their limbs. The blades composed of dimensional energy would cleanly slice through almost anything in existence. One of the only known things immune were the Kythons themselves, designed to be impervious to their own weaponry so they would not be able to hurt each other. The twenty five swarmed over the decompressed shuttle slicing at the engines, view ports, and crawling through the open boarding hatch. They made short work of any doorway attempting to make sure there were no survivors. Wherever they touched the ship, black marks began to grow rapidly as if they were causing some sort of infection.

Floating in the void, the combat robots would obviously try to defend. The remaining 25 Kythons closed in on the fifteen robots floating uncontrollably in space. They swarmed over them in a great twisting and turning pack of pure chaos. For now they ignored the floating soon to be corpses drifting further away from the combat.

The Library:

The sub-window of the display showed the demise of the shuttlecraft and the reforming of the Kython Swarm. Darth Atrox was watching the faces of those viewing to see what their reaction to the sudden appearance of the swarm. Once they witnessed them in battle he suspected faces on both side to be a mixture of awe and terror.

“Now the fun really begins.”

"Fire the baridium missiles and then enter hyperspace to where Lumiya is stationed!"
The Dark Lord knew that the only way for anything in orbit to survive was to jump to hyperspace. The baridium missiles packed about as much a punch as 10 Death Star laser blasts. The baridium missiles launched and the fleet jumped to hyperspace.

I am waiting for you to post your reaction to my last post. When my shuttle "disintegrated" and reformed into Kythons, that left your crew exposed to space. If you noticed, I only descrived what they might be going through. I sent half my Kythons against the shuttle and the other half swarming your droids.

I am waiting on those to react to. I still have 4 minutes before reinforcements arrive and Atrox is planetside.

You might want to let Kaldari react before those missiles hit. You just launched them and technically they are just leaving your tubes. I needed you to post what your boarding crew were doing. I was not sure if your people had space suits and described what would normally happen if they did not but without actually posting their deaths because I was not sure what you had equipted on them.

How long will it take for those giant missiles to travel the long range distance to the target zone and what exactly is their target? I need to know so I can react accordingly.

The slaves and apprentices did have space suits and were able to function in space. The droids, not having to breathe, also were functioning properly. As the creatures attacked them the apprentices and droids did their best to counter them. The missiles one aiming at the creatures and the other was aimed at the enemy fleet. They would hit in 4 seconds because of their extremely powerful propulsion systems.

Even as the Rager's began to board the shuttle with more men than was conceivably possible to use against a shuttle of that size, the small fleet that the True Sith had garnered began to feel the strains of combating the enemy. The Sith fleet had finally come into range of their defense stations guns, and weaponry designed to put down even Star Destroyers was brought into play. Waves of proton torpedoes shot forth, followed by concussion missiles, to bring their explosive power against the shields of the Rager's fleet. Powerful banks of turbolasers and lasers slashed through space towards the enemy fleet. Although their fleet was much too large for both the stations and failing TS ships, the stations would be able to hold them off long enough for reinforcements to arrive. The crush of enemy weaponry and fighters could not be denied. What little of the defending squadrons remained had been wiped out and the volleys from the enemy fleet in tandem with the strafing runs of the remaining Rager fighters was causing heavy damage.

The Silent Shadow was holding up, its shield system being one of the strongest money could buy. But the cruiser and frigate were in dire condition. Their shields were gone and multiple explosions had covered their hull with holes and jagged slices where enemy fire had taken its toll. The frigate began to list to one side, while the cruiser's engines began to flicker. The incoming fire kept coming, unabated by the obvious defeat of these two ships and stabbed deeper into their hulls. The strain of the structural damage was too much for the frigate, and as energy rained down upon it, it began to split apart, great chunks of the hull ripping apart amidst explosions. The cruiser itself listed and then a rain of explosions covered its hull, sending shards of metal out in every direction. A lucky shot hit the reactor and an immense explosion consumed the cruiser in a ball of flame which was quickly snuffed out.

All that was left was the battleship, and the defense stations. Their cards, already few in number, were almost all played out. However, it was at this moment that the enemy fleet launched a flurry of missiles, and jumped away in response of the shuttle disintegrating, and some strange substance absorbing the nearby debris, forming into a large swarm of frightening creatures. Rilven and Annilus, having kept the Rager Lord from influencing their forces, turned to Atrox. Shock emanated from Rilven, while Annilus was full of amusement.

"I see you are full of surprises, Lord Atrox." Annilus turned back to the screen. "I hope they can keep the enemy at bay until your reinforcements arrive. Oh, excuse me." She pressed a key and opened the channel to the orbiting defenses. "All enemy missiles are to be destroyed. Set weapons to wide dispersal mode and wipe them out."

The officers acknowledged and space was filled with laser fire. The missiles were fast, but they still had some distance to go before reaching any targets, and with the battleship feeding targeting data and using its own PD system, proceeded to clean up the missiles aimed at them. The ones that swerved off to engage the strange creatures were shot at but those they could not get were not aimed at them, so they let them through. Partially, also, to see what this swarm would do.

Darth Atrox grinned to himself, well he was the only one able to see it. Not only did his mask hide his face but insects are unable to smile, chitin did not work quite that way.

“My flagship should arrive in a couple minutes at most. It has reported it is about two minutes until the wormhole should open and she arrives. If you have interdiction in system I would activate it to keep them here, I am sure the Ragers will show their true colors and turn tail when it gets here.”

Atrox turned to the screen watching the plotted locations of the ships and incoming missiles. It appeared the defensive screen of fire had taken almost all the incoming projectiles. There was still one fast moving missile approaching. From the Kython readout, it was pretty powerful but he was confident Overmind would know what to do.

In Orbit:

The two swarms of black death seemed to act as one body. As the last missile homed in on the one devouring the shuttle, both groups suddenly and quickly sped away on vertical trajectories, both ascending and descending. This left only the half-eaten remains of the drop ship in the path of the massive missile. A moment later a small sun came into being as it detonated on the ruins of the ship.

The massive energies released were concentrated in a single area, the point of impact. The remaining energies radiated away in every direction becoming weaker as distance passed. Caught on the very edge of the blast, the black death was propelled away by the intense energies, bathing them with raw energy. The semi-liquid forms seemed to bubble and boil as energy was absorbed and replicated. The forms split in half and reformed into two beings, then four, and further until they were finally thrown from the area of effect for the short lived blast. As the light faded from the single missile strike, a halo of black seemed to fill the perimeter of the explosion, basking in its energetic radiance as if it was recharging them. A much larger black halo indeed for they have gone through many generations of replications thanks to the high energy yield of the superweapon.

The swarm, now numbering in the thousands began to head toward the location of the enemy fleet, accelerating to near light speed, turning themselves into c-frac projectiles.

Space:

The black swarm seemed to blot out The Silent Shadow as they closed in on the position of where the intruders were hiding. They had damaged two of the defending vessels already with only a single warship remaining but the enemy had retreated to their current position. The Kythons were hungry and they were closing in on their prey.

Suddenly empty space tore open, a black hole to nothing which seemed to swallow light whole. As reality was torn asunder and space groaned in labor pains, a single vessel slipped from within the rupture and it collapsed with a massive surge of energy temporarily flooding the sensors with exotic energies as it closed behind the ship.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v248/beldragos/Abominationarriving.jpg

The Abomination had arrived.

The first thing noticed when sensors cleared from the wormhole collapse was the new star in the system. Sensors detected a massive gravitational signature that registered to be that of a small star. The energy readings were equally obscene and registered off the scales. Several technicians wondered if they should take sensors offline to run a diagnostic on the system. Then Threat Alert alarms went off as the massive dreadnaught began to target vessels. Alerted to positions over the Kython Link, they knew which ones were friendly and which ones was designated as meat.

Library:

Darth Atrox watched the swarm heading towards the distant withdrawn foes. He secretly hoped they would not surrender but all signs showed they were broken and lost their Castras. They had attacked without Honor and they fled the battlefield without the same. They were Honorless and deserved the same death as that of an animal, nothing more or nothing less. It was likely they was about to either surrender or to try running away. The later would be worthless because of the interdictions on the defense platforms keeping them held fast, like an insect on a glue trap.

Suddenly the holoscreen transmitting the chatter in orbit crackled and the message from the Rager Kilont emitted from the display. Undoubtfully his Hostess would wonder how sound would come out of a holo projection but if she asked, he would explain.

Message to Darth Rilven
Tell your masters that we wish for a meeting. Flagships and guards only. We will converse over the HoloNet if you accept.
Kilont out.

Darth Atrox sighed. He knew they would do something like this. He was so wishing to see their end as a puff of dispersing plasma but it seems the nature of a Rager demands them to be this way. Atrox turned to Darth Annilus.

“The choice is yours. They invaded your home. They destroyed your property. They attack your ideals. If it were up to me, I would vaporize them. The Ta’Nar do not take prisoners unless we plan on using them as ammunition.” Atrox never bothered to explain that last statement.

“I have an idea. Contact them and tell the Rager that if he is…”

Orbit:

The Abomination changed its heading and slipped into orbit as directed by The Silent Shadow. Dimensional shields reached over and snapped over the damaged ship in case the enemy had planned on violating even the sanctity of the Surrender. Repair droids were send out to work on the external damage, taking advantage of the current cease fire.

Annilus signaled to a nearby officer, whom nodded and began to send out the order for interdiction. Turning, she looked back at Atrox. "Of course. We do not want them leaving once our turn to lay down the pain comes. The Ragers want war, pain, and destruction. We'll give them that and more." Rilven nodded in silent agreement. The battle continued, although much more muted. The ships had jumped away from range of weapons, so both sides could not hit each other. Deschel was able to relax a little and focus all non-vital weapons power to regenerating the shields. He watched as the remaining missiles impacted amongst the strange creatures, and sent them flying. But instead of destroying them, they absorbed the energy and multiplied. Soon, over a thousand of these creatures charged the enemy fleet. They watched in awe as they came in to attack the enemy. In tandem with the interdiction fields raised by the stations, the enemy fleet was going to be hard put to fight this enemy.

Then came the largest shock of all. A message was received on all channels.

Message to Darth Rilven
Tell your masters that we wish for a meeting. Flagships and guards only. We will converse over the HoloNet if you accept.
Kilont out.

Rilven and Annilus could not believe their ears. This Rager Lord, whom had planted a homing device on his ship, gathered a large fleet, invaded this system, had attacked his forces and wiped out most of his defenses....was now surrendering to them? Granted, these creatures Atrox had unleashed were very scary, but they had plenty of ships. This was just insane....but they would take it.

Rilven stepped forward and pushed down a button, opening a channel to Kilont. "I do not have any masters but myself. However, I agree to your offer. The owner of this system, Darth Annilus, and the one whom defended us, Darth Atrox, as well as myself will be coming. The location of the meeting will be here. Rilven out."

Rilven turned and listened to what Atrox's suggestion was and he smiled. "Indeed. Let's go meet our surrendering foe, shall we? I intend on ensuring this never happens again."

The meeting place was to be at a point where they could meet between their respective fleets but it was still within range of the orbital guns. The Silent Shadow, its shields recharged and fresh once more, moved towards the meeting point. The Abomination went with it, protecting and repairing what hull damage it had received. Aboard it was both Lords Rilven and Annilus, standing on the bridge with a rather overwhelmed Captain Deschel. The arrival of the Abomination had been spectacular, but the events of this battle had overloaded them with awe-inspiring feats and this did not have the same effect as it normally would have. When the Sith flagship had reached the meeting both the SS and Balroggan ship were at, Rilven opened holographic communications with them.

"That's far enough, Kilont. Kilont, so-called Dark Lord of the Sith. You have committed many crimes against me and my allies here today. You sought to come kill me and anyone here, I imagine, when I left your pathetic excuse of a Council. You brought a large warfleet to this system, kill many soldiers and pilots under my command, and sought to destroy countless projects I have worked on for some years now. Not only do you insult me, but this is an act of war in most cases. It would be well within my rights to kill you right now."

He leaned forward, his mask glinting in the light."However, since I do not wish to taint my hands with your death, I will allow you to ransom yourself to me. You may offer anything that you feel may allow me to spare your miserable life. I'm all ears, Kilont."

Darth Atrox, The Dark Lord of the Sith, rebellious apprentice of Emperor Darth Vader, and Founder of the New Sith Order could not believe his ears. The worm actually demanded to be given part of the fleet Rilven supposedly had after attacking said fleet of three ships and half a dozen orbital defense platforms. The fool knew two ships were destroyed and still had the gall to demand more be given to him? Was Rilven supposed to give him his only remaining ship, The Silent Shadow? Even if Rilven was insane enough to agree to do such a foolish thing, Darth Annilus would never allow it. This was her world and she chooses who she would teach, not some washed out Rager who could barely control his own bowels in a battle.

Darth Atrox spoke up.

“I have no influence here but I will not take on a single Apprentice if you had any hand in their training. There would be too much to un-teach and it would be easier to start afresh with a newborn infant. I have much more skilled students back home who actually show promise.”

“As far as your Vong invaders, I have no fear of them. I welcome their presence if they would remove the likes of you from the face of this galaxy. They do not possess a threat to me in any way, but rather a source of food for my Kythons so I would welcome them and the battles they would bring. After beating their attacks, I would strike fear in their alien souls and they would listen to my suggestions for targets to bury under their hordes. You have seen what a single unarmed shuttle of mine can do, imagine what a warship would accomplish, even the smallest one I send out. The Abomination has the capabilities of removing this entire system from existence leaving empty void. The Vong would not be able to stand against her power. My Kython Horde would devour them from the inside out. The Childer in this ship alone could extinguish your men. The Ta’Nar are exponentially more powerful and I am their leader for obvious reasons.”

Atrox looked to Darth Annilus and then spoke clearly and carefully.

“By my Honor, I swear this is true. I can do all I spoke of and more. I am a Ta’Nar and that alone should say much.”

“Do not take this being’s futile attempts at bargaining for his life for he obviously does not value it much. Let’s just execute him and recycle his damaged fleet since he obviously does not recognize the chance at living you have granted him, instead slapping you in the face with it.”

OOC:

I think you should rethink that as it would be highly unlikely to happen for the following reasons.

1 The Superlaser was not recharged. You used the charge and drained the capacitors so it would not work.

2 If your ships showed signs of powering up weapons you would have been obliterated immediately by both his ship, my Dreadnaught, and the defense platforms.

3 He posted setting up Interdiction meaning your ships cannot jump in or leave until they are eliminated.

4 You are trying to call damages (his planet)

5 He has not answered you, it is his decision and I only offered Atrox's opinion in the matter.

Taking these 5 points into consideration, (no Superlaser charged, no ability to bring in your pirate fleet or leave with your ships, the ships powering anything up would bring instant fire, and the person you are trying to surrender to not answering yet) I think you might want to keep your options open before you do a fine godmoding action like this and at least wait for Kaldari to post his own answer.

OOC: Alright, I can't even post until we fix this fiasco of a post. It would seem you got scared because of Bal's post. His character could say all he wants, and I will only do what I want to. Whether it be his recommendation or what I want to do. So, there was no need to be so jumpy.

Second of all, you cannot call damage on enemy forces. If you send attacks my way, only I may say what I lose. Unless I give you permission, which I have not.

Bal was right in his points. Interdiction field is up, and since your FTL is SW tech by your own admission, you can't jump anywhere. Superlaser was already used and could not be charged so fast. Not to mention, as he said, if you even showed weapons powering up, we would have opened up on you, flagships and defense stations. Also, you stated in your intro post you had only 1 Super Dread, the Death's Head. Where did the pirates magically get one during the course of this thread?

Make the edits to deal with these problems and I will post.

Rilven sighed at the offer made by the defeated Rager. What was Sith these days and demanding things that would be more fitting to a capable officer than a defeated enemy, especially one that had killed two crews worth of good men and women. And he wanted Rilven to train his apprentices and himself. He had to be joking. Was he not thinking or something? The Sith Lord sighed and then began to speak in reply.

"Kilont, I do not know who trained you, but whoever it was had to be the stupidest glitbiter in the Galaxy to not have taught you the basics of how to save your own skin. When surrendering to someone you have done considerable damage to, you do not demand positions in their forces, training for yourself and your Order. And you do not try to side-step the subject by telling me about the Vong. You want my honest opinion? To Kessel with the Vong. They were beaten once and I have learned much of this universe. And they could come close to defeating the powers that reside in this galaxy. So they hardly post a threat; if anything, the Chronosians post more so of one. So, no, you will not be given a position in my 'fleet', which currently consists of one ship, mind you, no training will be given. And you still need to give me reason to keep you alive."

Rilven waited for him to reply but then Atrox burst in, incredibly indignant about what the Rager Lord had said. Rilven raised his eyebrows under his mask and turned to gaze at Annilus, whom merely smiled. She stepped forward when the Sith Lord had gazed at her and finished his speech. "Now now, Lord Atrox, we all understand your power. We know the Vong are nothing to be worried about and I agree on the apprentices. But there is no need to move so harshly-"

Alarms began to ring out and data scrolled down their screens. Annilus and Rilven turned sharply towards the sound, with the latter stepping forward to grab the railing. "What is going on? Status report!"

One of the officers turned, face livid with another. "The...The Ragers, milord...They're activating weapons systems...they're trying to power up their superlaser again. Orders sir? May we blast their mongrel hides?"

Rilven tensed and both Atrox and Annilus could see his gloved hands grip the railing tightly. Waves of controlled anger washed off him, while Annilus had a small aura of contempt and disgust. As Rilven strove to control himself, Annilus spoke. "You may fire at will. Wipe this pathetic excuse for a Sith from existence. No, he's not even a Sith...a Rager. Show him why we are the path to true Sithhood." She turned to face Darth Atrox.

"Before I advise caution, milord. Ignore those words; you have full permission to rip them apart. We'll get our ransom later, these cowards need a reminding of what true power is."

As all this was going on, the Silent Shadow raised its weapons systems and proceeded to lock onto the super dreadnaught. An impressive hail of turbolaser and laser fire streaked through space to hammer the enemy ship. Waves of concussion missiles and proton torpedoes followed, hammering the energy shields. This was compounded by the defense stations, whom added their considerable fire into the ship. They left the enemy fleet to Atrox, whom they knew could handle it. They wanted to wipe this fool whom had dared betray them for the second time from the face of this system.

Atrox could not believe the Rager wanted to live. He surrendered twice and then had the audacity to demand to be trusted? He attacked and wanted control of part of the Library’s fleets? What does he think he has over us that makes him think he can demand such ridiculous things? Atrox could only metaphysically shake his head and wonder at the meatbag.

“Honorless swine. You dare to surrender and then demand the Victor’s spoils? When that doesn’t work you then attack? You shall pay heavily for that mighty Rager Lord.”

Darth Atrox turned to the commander of The Abomination.

“Commander, establish a Space Minus Powertap and ready the PTI. I want that fleet powerless. Prepare the Kythons for a swarm to devour the incapacitated ships.”

“Yes Sir.”

Atrox watched from his command deck as the crew scurried to carry out his orders. The Powertap was quickly achieved and his entire ship began to glow as energy surged through The Abomination. The already impossible energy readings just increased exponentially. A nimbus of energy formed around the Dreadnaught as all system sped up to full power. Several protrusions seemed to grow out of the hull and a purple energy field coalesced at their ends. They all pointed at the incoming enemy fleet and nothing seemed to happen.

Suddenly a purple nebula formed around the gathered enemy fleet and strange things happened. The PTI went into effect. The Power Transfer Inhibitor. The Dimensional weapon would open a rift through the Veil and draw in part of another dimension to coexist with Real Space. The particular effect here was drawn from a dimension where the electron soup would not function; preventing the exchange that allowed electron transfer in metals so energy would not be transferred through it. It effectively stopped power lines from operating shutting down vessels dead. Without power, life support, communications, and most importantly engines, weapons, and defenses would utterly fail. The next step would be to send in the Kythons who were living entities and immune to the effects.

The swarm of thousands of Kythons from the earlier battle swept through the fleet spreading Infection to all the vessels. As they were consumed by the Kython Infection, the air in the ships was released and vacuum rapidly spread throughout the vessels. Soon all the crew would be either exposed to vacuum, infection, or the uncaring attention of the Kythons themselves.

As they spread their Infection, their numbers would grow, incorporating the mass of the ships they took over. Soon the 150 pirate vessels would be serving a higher purpose. A Kython centered one.

The New Sith Order is ruled by a Tribunal and they would not accept you even if you did win. I also have no say on the forces of the Library."

"That was a good one; perhaps you should give up your ambitions and follow another calling, one involving entertainment as a comic."

"The Fallen Empire is nomadic, there is no Homeworld for you to locate but I have gotten the details of yours from your would-be prey. I have passed those coordinates on to my people and enacted a jamming signal that will not allow transmissions to leave the system so you cannot warn them. As far as finding the NSO and taking that out, good luck. Emperor Vader has been searching and even he cannot locate it. "Well, for starters, you would have used it instead of surrendering. No Sith would surrender his forces if he had more tricks up his sleeve. You surrendered and now have to suffer the ignoble beating that goes with it."

"What to the Librarian and her Student have to offer? Honor. That is what they have to offer."

"Throughout this mismanaged invasion of yours they have behaved with Honor and I approve of their actions. You on the other hand have shown no hint of Honor and therefore deserve to be slaughtered like an animal in the street. You cannot even fathom the concept of the Ta'Nar not having any homeworld for you to track down. They are nomadic and live on their fleets of ships. You cannot track down a homeworld of people that don't have any."

Rilven and Annilus were quiet as they let Atrox and Kilont engage in a battle of words, as they listened and began to form their thoughts on the matter. They noticed he had sidestepped the issue about what he could give, although he did offer his considerable fleet.....Annilus narrowed her eyes and thought as Atrox and Kilont battled over the threats about their homeworlds. When Atrox had finished hammering the idea of having no homeworld, she stepped forward. Rilven may have had his own ideas on the situation but she was the Librarian, master of the Library and this system. It was her call on what would happen. She cleared her throat, gaining the attention of Atrox and Kilont.

"I agree to your duel and its terms. If we lose, you will gain a single planet, with only one building and eight orbitals along with the single battleship I have to my name. You could try taking control of Atrox's ships...oh wait, you already tried that and look what happened?" She smiled before continuing. "You are bluffing about this superweapon, for you would have used it on us to win, instead of surrendering to us. Also, Lord Atrox is right. Neither of us have a 'homeworld'. His people are nomadic; this planet is merely a base, a place for my operations. We have no homeworlds. Finally...your 'congratulations' mean nothing to me. We have done well only because of our tactical skill, your blundering, and Lord Atrox's....abilities. And even then, you slaughtered my forces. Count yourself lucky that I have honor and won't even suggest letting those creatures consume you and your fleet."

She inputted some commands and information filled up on the screen. "This is the Library. The room you are seeing is the room known only as the Test. It is there that I test the worthiness of the would-be Sith coming to my Library. So far, only Lord Rilven has passed...well, excuse me. Lord Atrox has passed as well, I forgot to mention that. In there, we will fight. You and your two Knights, against myself, Lord Atrox, and Lord Rilven. Rilven and I will be heading to the location now. Feel free to join us quickly; I want this stupid invasion over and your presence out of my system. No funny business or I will let those creatures consume your ships, your crews and eventually you, Kilont. You want to prove you're the Dark Lord? Then face us down at the Test and prove it. Annilus out."

Rilven turned to her, eyes questioning. She smiled. "Do not worry, milord. I can sense Lord Atrox has his own kind of powers; the Force shows me this much. And we can have no better battleground to fuel our fury than in the center of our mighty citadel of learning, the Test. Come, we shall show this Dark Lord what the True Sith Order can do." He nodded and followed her as they went to the shuttle bay and quickly headed to the planet. Atrox and Kilont were expected to follow quickly; this battle needed to end, so the destiny's of those involved could be decided.

"Well, it appears you have your answer. I will meet you on the planet. If you try anything funny. I have left orders to have your fleet consumed."

"Atrox out."

Atrox issued several orders including ones that involved the complete destruction of the invading fleet as well as intediction and radio jamming. He then went to his suite and from the meditation chamber retried his equipment. Minutes later he was aboard his shuttle heading for the surface. He was now familliar with the route and soon arrived at The Test.

Upon arriving, he greeted his two Hosts and waited for the Rager Lord and his two patsies to arrive.

Kilont laughed to himself. He knew he would be the victor in a fight. With his 3 meter tall, naturally armored body, and deadly tail he would easily catch anyone offguard. His four legs could carry him faster than anyone else and he had some force poweres that these "Sith" would not know he could use.

Kilont signaled to Darth Kath and Darth Wkilrt the most senior Sith present besides himself and his loyal bodyguards. Darth Kath is a force-sensative Yuuzhan Vong warrior that was not cut off from the force by Yuuzhantar. Darth Wkilrt is a elite Wookiee warrior that became a Sith after killling his family. They boarded a drop ship that would take them down to the Test. The ship landed and the three Sith walked toward the where the three false Sith were. He called to them "We have come."

Atrox turned to face the newcomers as they were escorted into the Chamber. He approached Kilont to speak with him, weapons not in hand. As he approached, his metallic clad form moves as if he was not wearing a ton of black metal on himself. His four arms were clearly within sight and not hidden under his long black metallic cloak. He walked upright on two legs and his insect-like head was hidden by black metal making it appear vaguely robotic looking. There was no whine of electronic motors or pneumatics, only the sound of his heavy feet on the floor as he approached with his hands held open.

“Before we go further, I must point out your arrangement is only with the Librarian and her student. Because of the very real danger of my slaying you preventing you from collecting your deal with them on the off chance your two students defeat hem, I must give you the chance to choose the conditions of our battle.”

“What terms do you offer? Do you wish to fight to First Blood, Yield, or to the Death? This is something which has to be arranged between us before anything can proceed further. Also, are you going to hold anything back or can we use any ability we possess. It would not be right if you thought it was only a saber battle and I used something else. These terms have to be agreed upon before we begin.”

“Also, what spoils do you offer to me if I win? You have given everything to those other two who have a rightful claim since you attacked their base. What do I gain from slaying you? Once you make that known, I will most likely return with an equal offer of some sort.”

Atrox stood there waiting for an answer.

Kilont leaned closer to Atrox.
"The crystals in my lightsabers naturally enhance the weilder's strength, awarness, and stamina 100 fold. It is yours if you defeat me. Rilven stood in the middle of the room, his hand fingering a curved lightsaber hilt, as his masked face gazed about the room. He pointedly ignored the Ragers and gave a respectful nod to Atrox when he appeared. Annilus stood in her robe with inlaid armor that gave it a strong protection, but it didn't restrict her movements or make it harder to use Force powers. She glanced at Kilont and his two proteges. A Wookiee and a Vong. Most interesting. She mused to herself as she watched them arrive. Atrox stepped forward and asked his question of his own arrangement, making Annilus smile, seen just below the helmet.

He was so honorable, she should have expected he do this. Both she and Rilven listened as Kilont chose to the death and he wanted no instant death force powers. Rilven was shocked and gazed at Annilus, whom could only say she couldn't understand what she just heard. There was no instant death force ability. They COULD be used to do such a thing but that was not part of their nature. When he spoke the rules for not damaging limbs and such, she could only shake her head slightly and watch as Rilven tensed up. She could feel the rage boiling within them and then being shaped and controlled to become a blade, ready to kill his enemies.

She ignored the bits about the rewards for Atrox, that was his business. As he finished, Annilus and Rilven stepped forward. They would wait until he had accepted to attack but they would begin speaking. Annilus began. "When you are done with your arrangement, which should be satisfactory to you, we can begin." All of the fighters in the area would suddenly see the causeways, balconies and area around the room being filled with armored soldiers, Dark Jedi with their black robes and others. All were soldiers and protectors of the Library and they had never seen a fight like this. So it was something to be seen; that and it was tradition. Their Library was at risk; it was only fair that they watched.

Kilont and his fighters as well as Lord Atrox would feel their dark side power tingling, stirring, almost as if it was home. The dark side flowed strongly in the Library, for it had been a Force Nexus which had been turned into a dark side nexus by Annilus. She held out a hand from her right side and her double-bladed lightsaber came to her hand. It stayed unactivated as Rilven mimicked the motion but with his single curved hilt. Both spread out a little bit and then settled down to wait, obviously waiting for Atrox to finish before continuing.

Atrox wondered what this pretender actually knew about the Force.

“The first problem I have with your terms is the dictation of us not using force abilities to attack in those manners but then cleared three distinct force abilities. You are aware the Force Choke, the Force Hold and even the Force Burst are all Force abilities, right? That means by the limitations you have set you cannot use them for those attacks. They might need clarifications unless you are exempting them from the limitations. It was unclear.”

“The second is you promised to me the same thing you already agreed would go to Rilven. You were both surrendering all your forces to each other if you lost. That is none of my concern and I cannot lay claim to anything of hers.”

“I will take your weapons as trophies to be placed alongside the Jedi Master's I have slain. In return you shall have an equal number of my sabers as your trophies. The death of the other will signify the end of the challenge and we are not allowed to use any instant kill Force powers but Choke, Push, or Burst to break limbs or the spine. All other abilities and talents are free to be used. I believe this is a summary of your offer with mine as acceptance. With that matter taken care of, I will return to my starting position and prepare for battle. I thank you for your cooperation.”

With that, Atrox turned and placed his back to the Rager Lord and spread his hands out so they could clearly be seen, “palms” facing back showing they were empty in the same manner he held them earlier when he approached. After he reached his position, he began a short meditation, connecting with the Force and readying himself for the battle. He could feel Darth Annilus and Darth Rilven nearby and at the far side, their opponents, the Wookie and the Vong. Their Force presence called out to him as well as the presence of their Master. It was easy to see all three were not as skilled as he was but they each had their own “flavor”.

Atrox was ready.

Annilus and Rilven nodded to Atrox and then gazed at Kilont's two knights. Rilven's presence merely turned cold and incredibly hostile, while a soft, smug grin appeared on Annilus face, or what was visible of it. They were both ready to deal with these upstarts, while Atrox dealt with the Rager Lord. As one, they both ignited their sabers, Rilven a pure red, Annilus a bright violet. Annilus lifted her head and spoke in sinister tones.

"Then let's begin, shall we?"
Balrogga
21-12-2008, 08:48
With the utterance of that phrase from Annilus, Darth Atrox finished what he has started. The Force Presences he had located before the battle of the Rager Lord and his two Patsies were seized and Atrox forced a bond between them. The technique was one he had discovered buried within the Rakatan computer when he took over their abandoned world and placed his Order there.

The Hunter’s Bond was used by Sith Assassins thousands of years ago and the technique was destroyed and forgotten because of the power. Darth Revan when he visited Rakata Prime (now called by another name by modern people) fifty centuries earlier, had used the computer whose core which was buried safely in the planetary crust and powered by a coretap to record his Holochron. There were many things he deleted from that Holochron that were still recorded by the computer and the Sith Assassin ability was only one of the treasures among them.

The Hunter’s Bond allows the Hunter to lock upon the Force Presence of the Prey, effectively gaining their powers in addition to his. The Assassins had killed off entire clans by making the Bond with their Prey and then upon the death, stealing their abilities for their own. With this ability it was possible for a single assassin to take out an entire Jedi enclave and from the texts of history, it was used quite effectively. It was fortunate one of the only sources of this lost ability was controlled by the New Sith Order and in the hands of only two of the Orders leaders, Darth Atrox and Darth Sunshine.

The amount of Power Atrox had access to was already immense. He was able to use his natural abilities as well as those of his insect host. The Force abilities were already boosted from being in the presence of the Dark Nexus. When he felt the Bond form between the Rager Lord and his two Knights, he received their Power and abilities. He felt his strength increase a hundred fold from Kilont’s light saber and all the personal boosts they used to amplify themselves. Atrox’s body literally buzzed with potential and his senses became astutely aware of even the sweat dripping from one of the Librarian’s soldiers on the upper level of the balcony at the far end of the arena.
The thing that drew his attention most was the heartbeats of his Prey. He could feel each beat from all three of them. He silently fought back the desire to sink his mandibles into the throat of each of the,. The urge was strung indeed but he was Darth Atrox, the Dark Lord of the Sith and Founder of the New Sith Order. He will not succumb to feelings and urges. His inhuman control over himself gave him great strength, more than the Ragers or the Jedi could even hope to dream. It made him a Master of controlling Force energies, tapping into the great power that lay within himself.

Fighting back the ever-calling lure of pure bliss in sinking his very being into the essence of his foes in an orgy of devouring, he steeled himself for the Rager Lords expected attack. In one of his hands a single black hilt rested with the blade not yet activated. His defenses were up and he was ready for just about any physical or metaphysical attack. He carefully tasted the Force Presence to see what his foe was going to attempt so he could easily counter it before the Rager could get his attack off. That was one of the minor advantages of The Hunter’s Bond, you knew what they were attempting because their abilities were now yours and you could feel and know what they did.

OOC:

Before you scream “Foul!”, the ability is a cannon ability of the Sith Assassins from Wookipedia and Darth Revan was on Rakata Prime and he did make his Holochron there. He was supposed to know the ability and this is based off cannon SW.

The effect I will use for this battle is if you use any of your abilities, I will also gain it and at your power levels. You are the one who dictates what I gain by you using it yourself. This includes your Light saber boost from those crystals you claimed you had. I also tapped into your Knights so I gain theirs too. IF they die while I am Bonded, I permanently gain those abilities but if I chose to release the bond before their death their abilities I gained would fade away right away. If you don’t use any Force abilities and go for a straight saber battle then I gain nothing but the boosts in power and your saber enhancements (and your Knights too) from this battle. Those boosts would go away after one of them dies and only Force abilities are gained.

When I use an ability I will try to remember to state the source (Ta'Nar. Force, natural ability, Hunters Bond, ect...) to make it clear what I am doing and cause less confusion.

Other than activating the ability and pulling a saber but not ignighting it, I have not done anything other than be ready for your first attack.

Kilont unclipped his lightsabers and activated his battle armor. His tail glistened with poison. Darth Kath took his lightsabed from his belt. An amphistaff rested there as well. Darth Wkilrt removed his lightsaber as well. As one they activated their lightsabers. With that the three Sith attacked. Kilont launched a flurry of strikes aimed at Annilus's midsection. Kath aimed a strong side strike at Rilven's head. Wkilrt slashed at Atrox's legs.

Darth Atrox seemed to glide sideways as he ignited his saber his legs not even moving as he used his armor to slightly levitate. A meter length of pure shadow filled the air of the small stadium with the familiar hum of an activated saber. The black aura of the eerie blade seemed to absorb light and in the dark would be absolutely invisible. Good thing the stadium was clearly lit otherwise Kilont would have run headlong into the death the shadow blade would have happily delivered. In the spot where Atrox stood moments before, Wkirlt struck an unseen telekinetic barrier Atrox had left behind, using his Ta’Nar abilities. To him it would feel as if he ran into a bulkhead at full speed. Atrox never even considered fighting the Knight, his battle and agreement was with the Knight’s Master, not with them.

“Your agreement is with me, Rager, therefore your fight comes from this quarter – unless you wish to break your word this early in the battle.”

Atrox stood there in midair slightly levitating.

“Remember, if you break your word, the conditions you set will not apply and I will use every means at my disposal to crush you into pulp. I will not give you another chance, you have had plenty already.”

Atrox raised his ebon saber to make a point. Kilont could feel the buzz of electrons from the blade even at this distance. Te Saber was powerful indeed and it would most likely cut through almost anything he might have.

“Now come on Prey, you have no choice but to fight me for more than your life hangs in the balance. I hunger and you will be on the dinner plate before the day is over.”

Rilven watched as his opponent rushed towards him, swinging a lightsaber at his head. The Sith Lord sighed mentally; did these Ragers even think in their battle plans? He swept his left foot back several inches, causing his body to move just enough that the saber passed before his helmet slit. As the Sith continued his slash, Rilven gripped his saber in his right slice diagonally upwards, the curved hilt easing the attack aimed at slicing through his liver and right kidney.

Annilus, meanwhile, watched as Kilont charged at her, his attack coming for her midriff. He would see she wouldn't even budge, and a small smile appear on her face. This would be explained when Atrox came forward blocking Kilonts path, speaking of the agreement they made. Annilus chuckled. "Indeed, Kilont. You would do well not to hurt your Honor any more than you have. Besides, I will not dirty my hands with you." She drew upon the Force and leapt through the air to land a foot or so away from the Wookiee. She drew upon the power of the Force Nexus, something she had done many times in her meditations and now allowed her to draw upon it with ease no one else in the room could match, and slammed a Force Push towards the Wookiee, who would be staggering or flat on the floor from the collision. She smiled wickedly at him as she eased into an Ataru stance. "Come you pathetic excuse of a slave, and see what true power is."

Darth Atrox was easily able to predict the clumsy attack of Kilont since he announced the attack, raised his saber, and ran at him. Atrox used his armor to quickly rise above his foe, held out an open hand as it filled with energy, and used his Force Push against the Pretender from above hoping the concussive blast of the ability would force the charging Kilont to the ground. If it was shot straight at him it would most likely have knocked him away. Atrox then used his momentum to carry his action further, making a summersault above the Rager and with a simple twist, he landed facing his foe but behind him. Two other of his hands were still holding incandescent energies just waiting to be sent into his enemy. His empty hand reached out and was held with the open palm toward Kilont.

Keeping herself still in her stance, she drew upon the Force and when the Rager was about to slash, she back-flipped up to a balcony, smirking down below at the Wookiee, who finished his slashes and hit nothing but air. She tsked and raised a hand. "Now now, rushing blindly and getting angry won't do anything." Blasters, small rocks and pieces of metal lifted into the air at her call and slammed at Wilkirt when she motioned. "You know, I am in need of a good rug; shaving you and using your coat seems to fit in just nicely."

Rilven saw the bug coming and twisted his head to avoid the bug, letting it fly forward past him to stick into the wall. Using this moment, with Kath distracted, sent a flurry of blows at Kath, ending with a slice at the legs, hoping to get a hit before he could even block.

The amphistaff on Kath's belt sprang to life knocking the blows aside while also twisting in a way that would position it so it could bite Rilven and inject him with poison. Kath being a Vong and worshipping pain he pulled himself closer to Rilven and let his lightsaber sear his living vondoon crab armor. While grasping Rilven he made a thrust up into Rilven's stomach that would surely hit.

I would like to post a reminder, you cannot tell me what happens to my character but you can tell me what you are trying to do to my character. In my last post, I said the blast was trying to knock you off your feet and onto the ground. I provided an example by stating if it was shot straight at you it should have sent you flying. The reason for this is you have not only no idea what my defenses are (see below for example of what I had planned) and you cannot call my damages as I cannot call yours. I can only put you into situations where you cannot evade (paralyzed and me swinging at your neck for example) and then let you post the results (hoping for what I stated or implied was the intention of the attack).

You also seemed to forget to take into account the concussive effect of a pipe bomb type of blast going off right above you (The description Wookipedia gave Force Push by the way) which should have affected you in some way. This time I am letting it slide but next time I will demand you respond to my attacks because you expect me to reply to yours.

Atrox smiled to himself.

He had read Kilont perfectly and forced him to use his tail in an attack that not only put the Rager off balance with himself fully extended but he was also faced away from him, the only way he could have reached him since he landed far enough away that Kilont would not have been able to reach him. As far as his curious palm open gesture, Kilont would soon discover what it was for.

Kilont’s tail lashed forward and seemed to strike something in mid air right before the outstretched palm. Whatever it hit, the tail would feel like it struck a solid iron wall similar to the Telekinetic barrier Atrox had already used on the charging Wookie earlier. To make matters worse, since the strike was expected, the return strike was already in motion.

The ebon blade blurred as it swung down to slice at the very exposed and what should be a stunned tail. Kilont would be overextended and off balance from the unexpected impact. He should be unable to move his tail out of the way in time. Following all courses of logic and taking into account the increased reflexes they both received from the Hunter’s Bond sharing the boost from Kilont’s Saber to Atrox, the tail should be flopping on the floor in a mere fraction of a second.

In addition, Atrox released the two held Force Push charges he had been building and powering up. The first was shot to the right of the Telekinetic Shield set to go off right next to Kilont throwing him to the left and the second was set to go off where the Rager’s flying body would be. It was all precisely calculated using the Overmind. The only way to save his tail AND to survive the concussive blast of Atrox’s two attacks would be to draw on his Force power, allowing Atrox to gain the ability and enough time to counter it. Atrox carefully monitored Kilont’s Force Presence and kept an eye upon the other two with fragments of his minds solely given those tasks.

Are you using actual force abilities or are you using the Force as a mystical force to do anything you wish? The reason I ask is because I have not noticed you using any actual Force Abilities names so far. You have seemingly used the Force to do what you wished instead of restricting it to certain abilities.

If you want a good list, go to wookipedia and do a search on "Force Abilities". It would really help the story if we were on the same page. I will have to either copy your style and just do vague abiliries and call it The Force or you could adapt my style and only use certain abilities predetermined ahead of time.

The apparent imperviousness his tail had to light sabers was a surprise too. Good thing they shared enhancements, it would make him tougher for armor alone would not prevent the positronic Arc Wave blade from severing the atomic bonds of the tail alone. There was something else and he was positive it was being transferred by the Hunter’s Bond.

The kick Rager tried would have hit harmlessly on the telekinetic shield Atrox has allowed the tail strike to hit but the Force Push had moved him away. That was when he felt something.

Atrox felt the Hunter’s Bond flare and felt the Force Presence of Kilont access unfamiliar powers. He was not sure what the Rager was trying to do but he paid careful attention to how things worked. Soon he would sink his proverbial fangs into the fool’s essence and end this fight once and for all. His redirection took him by mild surprise, he was warned the ability was activated but did not know the outcome.

When Kilont reared and yelled at him, Atrox simply shoot his head and spun in a quick footsweep to knock the only set of legs on the unbalanced form out of underneath the centaur like being. Atrox rolled to the side away from where the Rager would fall and sent several Force Push blasts following him. He even used one to push himself high into the air and away, landing lightly on his feet several meters away.

“So, your tail is armored and apparently protected. Out of curiosity, what method did you use?”

Saw the foot coming and quickly jumped up slightly on his hind legs. The foot missed him by mere centimeters and he knew that he wouldn't try that again. But he felt the surge in the Force and all he did to counter was bring his lightsabers up and block while bracing himself with his strong, horselike legs.
"I simply Force Held a solid object that was anchored firmly to the wall. I redirected myself with just enough power to move but not so much that I rip the wall down. Oh..did you mean my tail? Well Sith alchemy my friend. You should look into it. Make yourself less ugly."
Kilont then trotted forward and launched and aimed a slash at Atrox's legs while his other blade he kept back to defend himself.

Atrox was relieved to hear the enhancement Kilont used was based on Force power instead of more mundane methods. This meant he was sharing his protection with the Ta’Nar and could do nothing to prevent it. He would not give Kilont the reason he was protected nor will he tell the Rager Lord, for now he would play along like he could be hurt.

“Oh, I know all about Alchemy as well as several other abilities, most I can expect you have never heard of.”

Atrox watched as the wannabe galloped forward to swipe at his legs. He made a simple leap backwards, leaving several more Force Pushes streaking toward his face, chest, and underside. He also fired several off aiming at the saber hilts Kilont was holding. It was important to make him think he was trying to disarm him so only a couple of the explosions of Force energy would actually land upon the target, the rest calculated to narrowly miss giving his opponent a false sense of security.

Atrox kept the leaping around the room and firing the blasts of Force energy, making himself a dangerous opponent keeping out of reach of the harmless sabers Kilont would be trying to use against him. The judicious usage of Force energies would either force Kilont to use his own Force abilities or drive him to physically attack. He had plans for both already in motion.

Meanwhile, he was continuing his taunting of his opponent.

“You missed Rager."

"Who taught you to fight, Jedi?"

"Where did you learn your Force skills, from a book found in a cereal box?"

"Your apprentices are better than you are, perhaps they should teach you…”

and so forth sending out a nearly continuous stream of insults and slights designed to enrage him.

Actually, a Force Push was described as an explosion of kinetic energy much like a primitive pipe bomb. I read that on Wookipedia and have been posting based on that description.

ooc: Really? In all the SW games I have played Force Push does just that. It pushes you back. I don't know what Wookieepedia is doing anymore. Sith Alchemy only uses the force sometimes. Usually they just end up putting some crazy ingredient into some creature's (like the Massassi) body and it somehow mutates them.

IC:
Kilont had had enough. He deactivated his sabers and began calling upon the Force. He began to levitate and energy was visably eminating from him. Lightning raced up and down his body. He unleashed the energy and it raced around the room. Lightning arced everywhere. The energy would slam into Atrox followed by the lightning if he didn't counter the right way.

Here is the list of powers from Wookipedia:

Force Powers (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Force_powers)

The Force Push link leads to this:

Telekinetic Basic Applications (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Telekinesis#Basic_Applications)

I am going to quote you the first sentence of the description I was going by.

Force Push was the ability to create a telekinetic impulse via the Force, launching a concussive burst of pressurized air-not unlike the blast of an archaic 'pipe bomb'-that would impact a target with enough force to knock it over, launch it into the air, or even (particularly in the case of fragile materials such as ceramics) shatter it into pieces.

I am going to work on a post now and should get it up in a little while.

Also, you might want to reconsider that bit about posting his damages, it would make him angry. Be patient. I don't know if he has a RL issue that is keeping him from posting, I have not spoken to him for a couple days.

Also, in your post when you had Kilont jump over my foot sweep, you mentioned his recognizing a mistake and thinking about not repeating it again. Little details like that are great and I liked it. Good job, but keep the details comming.

Darth Atrox watched Kilont deactivate his light sabers as he jumped away one again out of range of those slashing energized blades. He felt Kilont draw on the Force, recognizing the effects he was attempting. The Force Levitation was an ability he did not possess but the Lightning was very familiar. Very familiar indeed.

As Kilont drew in power and unleashed it in a blinding storm of lightning bolts arcing everywhere they seemed to be drawn to Atrox. Darth Atrox stood there and accepted wave after wave of the lightning wash into him, bathing in their energies. These were the same energies that caused his form’s creation in the crypts of Asfaltum so many years ago. He was at that time Ba’El, the Ta’Nar Admiral accompanying Emperor Daniel Masaki from Coreworlds and Prince Doran from Abh. He had been betrayed and left to die by those two when Emperor Palpatine was assassinated. In his death throws Palpatine had caused a Force Storm to cover the system. The mutagenic energies of the Force Storm had created the insect form Atrox now used. Because Kilont used the energies of his birth, Atrox was able to absorb them, empowering himself with the very energies the Rager wished to destroy him with.

The Ta’Nar quickly turned these energies into a massive Force Fear that would cause the very foundations of his sanity to shake and crumble. Not only did Atrox draw from the energy gained by the Force Lightning discharge, he tapped into the Dark Nexus itself and the Hunter’s Bond. From within the Force Fear, he empowered the Force to seek out his worst fear, his worst horror, his most dreadful dread and magnify it a hundred times, no, a thousand fold. He wanted the Rager to be reduced to a trembling quivering mass of flesh curled into a fetal position while his mind was being tortured by the very things it feared the most, the things that lay within himself.

While the Rager was distracted by his own Horrors, Atrox began the second part of his attack. He switched to his Ta’Nar ability of Hypnotic Suggestion and implanted a post hypnotic suggesting suicidal tendencies. When Kilont came out of the Force Fear, he would be so shaken and disturbed the suggestion would take hold and he would attempt to slay himself, ending the duel.

Atrox stepped back away from Kilont further so when the fragile mind inside the alien erupted, it would not take the Ta’Nar out with him.

ooc: !!!!!!!!! wow you don't leave me with a lot of options.

Kilont accepted the Force Fear. He embraced it. During his time spent in Kath's Embrace of Pain he had learned to accept fear and pain. The Dark Lord's mind was well sealed against Atrox's attacks. Even when they broke through Kilont brushed them aside. The Dark Lord approached Atrox who would probably be exauhsted from using so much energy. However Kilont was tired too from protecting himself from the attacks. Kilont attempted to use Force Choke on Atrox while he ignited his blade with the opposite hand.

Force Choke will only choke an individual. To lift and toss you need Force Crush, a different power. Darth Vader had both.

IC:

Darth Atrox continued to stagger backwards until he stopped and stood still. Kilont was in the exact position he wanted him to be and had faked being choked to draw him there. His desire for the death of Atrox blinded him to the fact he was being led across the floor and when the plasma fountain, one of the many traps hidden in the Arena and specifically designed for use against Sith or unlucky Jedi tossed inside the ring went off. A brilliant blast of raw plasma engulfed the area Kilont was standing in much to his demise. Atrox had discovered that trap earlier today when he first arrived before tea.

Atrox watched as a blast of Plasma lit the area, cooking whatever was trapped inside. He almost laughed out loud when the Rager tried to use Force Choke on an opponent encased in metallic armor. The armored environmental suit had prevented his throat from being even touched. He had acted like he was being choked and in fear to draw the Rager where he wanted him to be, standing on top of a trap he had known about.

Kilont sensed the danger. Just before the plasma erupted he released his feigned grip and wrapped himself in a ball of Force energy. Suddenly the plasma twisted around him in a ring and he began useing Force Maelstrom. The plasma wrapped around him like the rings of Geonosis and swirled faster and faster. Then when he had gathered all the plasma he lashed out and the plasma spread in all directions engulfing everything in its path.

Darth Atrox felt a stirring in the force and examined the Hunter’s Bond established with Kilont earlier. He recognized another force ability he had read about but he did not actually possess the Protection Bubble, until now. As Kilont sheathed himself in a ball of Force energy, Atrox studied what he was doing and he recognized the Force Bubble again but combined with Force Lightning and Telekinesis. This was an interesting combination indeed for he had never seen it before. It was a good thing he had his Hunter’s Bond in operation or he would not have had a warning of what was happening.

Atrox drew power from the Hunter’s Bond, feeding off Kilont’s Force Presence and simultaneously accessing power from the Dark Nexus again. He erected a Protection Bubble around Kilont and his Maelstrom as it was being gathered. When he was safely contained, Atrox knelt in concentration to maintain the Protection Sphere preventing even communication to pass through. As the waves of Plasma and miscellaneous objects tossed about by the Maelstrom were driven outward, Atrox used the Force Protection ability given to him by Kilont through the Force Bond. He used the ability at the same strength the victim had but he was also adding his own strengths to the formula. As the force of the plasma struck the barrier withstood the massive barrage. As some slipped through, Atrox reached out through the Hunter’s Bond, and siphoned more into himself to waste his opponent’s power instead of his own. He also used the bond he established with the two Knights Kilont brought along with him further empowering the sphere. Reflecting the damage inside to the sphere Kilont set up. Atrox had plenty of time, there was only so much air inside his bubble and the plasma would quickly make it unusable.

Kilont released the maelstrom. He was tired from using so much energy and he had to end this fight now. "I see we are on equal footing Atrox. Let's take it up a notch."
The Dark Lord then did something he hoped he would never have to do. Thanks to Kath's Vong heritage, Kath had the ability to cut others and himself off from the Force. Kilont had aquired this ability after Kath had some Vong shapers implant yorik coral into Kilont. Kilont smiled and waved his hand. Atrox would be cut off from the Force and there was no known counter.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Darkside was a fickle thing, it was destruction, hate, and anger. It was fear, angst, and above all else betrayal. There was one who knew this lesson well, the founder of the Sith assassins, the creator of the bond between predator and prey, Darth Traya, the Lady of Betrayal.

It was she who mastered this art, the link between predator and prey. It was she, who taught it to her disciples, the ancient sith assassins, and it was this knowledge which would bring about the destruction of the ragers once and for all. It was she who felt it, when she trained the Jedi Exile, eventually subcoming to the effects of the force bond, in one futile attempt to kill the force once and for all. Even the great betrayer was betrayed by the darkside.

Palpitine the greatest of the Sith lords knew this secret well. The Darkside was his ally, and even he at the end of the day laid broken and shattered, upon his multiple deaths. Today would be no different, for Lord Atrox, or his opponents. The greatest sith who ever lived, was betrayed by the darkside, overcome by his own arrogance and false visions of victory.

Darth Atrox, knew this lesson well. He, the founder of the New Sith Order, the discoverer of the secrets of the ancient Sith, with his partners and friends, Lady Sunshine, and Darth Twilight dove into the secrets of the ancient Sith. Together they discovered the truth, the darkness consumes all, and will leave all empty, broken and betrayed.

The bond between the predator and prey was a sacred one. One the force thrived upon. It was not easily broken, as the two did their eternal dance with one another. As the Rager attacked, with Force Sever, he was right there is no counter. No counter to being cut off from the force, but he did not know the ramifications of his actions. How could he? Only two in the galaxy knew the secrets of the Sith assassins of old. The bond between hunter and prey was not one easily broken, their lives were forever intertwined until one was dead.

It, like force sever.... had no defense. In the symbiotic relationship, what happened to one truly affected the other, or in this case all those forced into a bond with Atrox, the rager lord, and his two lackeys. Atrox was hit by a strange feeling, as he felt the curse of Palpitine leaving him, the vile nature of the force. But the force was not so easily played. As the Rager lord deemed himself above the will of the force by cutting off it’s pawn, it was only a matter of time before the cycle of betrayal would be complete.

As the bond existed, Atrox was suddenly cut off, but it was not the final act. The energy went down the bond instantly, to all connected, the Rager lord and his two knights. As Atrox lost his power, so did they. As it affected Atrox, his knights and the lord himself sealed their own coffins.

The betrayal was complete, and there was no counter. The Rager Lord, and his lackeys, would be as defenseless as any man without the force, as defenseless as the Rager lord made Atrox. The duration of Atrox's sever is the duration of theirs. Their lightsabers would be useless cause a Jedi and a Sith needed the force to feel the blade or risk cutting off their own limbs. Kilont's blasphemy would prove to be his undoing, as the great pretenders soon found themselves as helpless as new born cubs, all by their own hand.

Only the Librarian, and her new apprentice had the force in this contest now.

OOC:

I created the Hunter's Bond between myself and you and you two Knights in my first action after Annhilus said GO. I quoted the post where I established the Bond with the four references Bolded. Also in the last post (#92) where I put the bubble around you, I posted this sentence "He also used the bond he established with the two Knights Kilont brought along with him further empowering the sphere".

At no time have I ever posted any connection with the other two Sith fighing on my side. They have their own system up and running and I would not interfere with it to prevent my distracting them.

Kilont didn't worry about not being able to use the Force. He didn't worry about his apprentices either. They were traine dfor moments like this. Kilont simply came up to the now defensless Atrox. "Let's finish this." Kilont then wiped his tail around and struck at Atrox's face.

Atrox suddenly found he had no access to the Force. While this would have left another being stunned and reeling, especially one whose total existence was spent in worship of the nebulous aura, he was not taking this as nothing further than a training exercise. As a matter of fact, all the students at the New Sith Order were required to undergo extensive training under Force Inhibitors, just like the one Atrox believed was used against himself moments ago. He was not aware of the Force Sever, he truly believed he had been hit by an Inhibitor. Perhaps one that was part of Kilont’s equipment that was triggered by a preprogrammed gesture like that peculiar hand wave he did moments ago. The Force was only one of several tools Atrox possessed in his bag of tricks, and his weakest one at that.

Kilont stepped forward. “Let’s Finish this.” He swung his tail at Atrox’s head.

Atrox laughed at his opponent.

“Your movements are somewhat slower; did you hit yourself with your own Inhibitor? That will make things so much easier.”

Atrox grabbed the tail with one set of hands and triggered part of his suit. Part of the suit grew a barrel and a particle beam unusually dark in color flashed at the tail held in Atrox’s hands.

At the same time, one of the other two hands grew a blue blade of energy. The Mindsword was a Psionic weapon whose touch caused neurological discord, causing the nervous system to be stunned for a few minutes. A hit on a leg would cause it to feel like it went to sleep, a hit in a vital organ like the heart would cause it to stop and a strike in the brain would possibly be fatal. The blade was pure psionics and not physical in any manner so nothing could be parried by it except another Mindsword.

Atrox used another fragment of his minds to generate a telekinetic shield to be used to block any other attacks. Of course, the shield was not visible but when it was used to block an attack it would be known about.

Alarmed by the grabbing of his tail Kilont puched and puched with his clawed hands. He felt pain in his tail and looked to see Atrox holding a burnt piece of skin in his hand. The tail was the only part of his body that was not armored. He grew angrier and the pain increased as his tail was touched by the Mindsword. He grew even more angry to the point where he couldn't contain it. In one quick motion he grabbed one of his lightsabers and thrusted at Atrox.

I have not swung the Mindsword yet, only ignited it and explained what it does. Be careful of bouncing saber blades, you currently have no control of it and with you deprived of the Force you cannot feel it and it is a good reason to say your defenses might have crashed big time. Also, when I tried to sever the tail before, you posted it was protected.

IC:

Atrox was mildly surprised at the apparent combustion of the tail. The particle beam was low powered and not designed for obliteration but rather Infection. The combustibility of his tail and complete obliteration probably meant the toxins reacted with the energy carrier wave the Thur’Tahg particles rode over on and vaporized. The internal pressure of sudden steam pockets must have made the whole end burst like food in a microwave oven. The pain should have an interesting effect.

As expected, the pain reaction made Rager go berserk.

Atrox strengthened his shield which had already prevented the pummeling fists from hitting him and released his Mindsword to hover there by itself in order to use his other hand to call forth a second shield. The two holding the remains of his tail simply discarded it like a piece of road kill and withdrew behind the two shields. The Mindsword floated away to the left and began to work behind the distracted Rager.

Annilus merely watched with cold amusement as the Wookiee slowly began to come for her, managing to control his rage. She raised an eyebrow under her mask; an odd ability, one she had not expected him to have. Ah well, it made this all the more fun. She waited until he was within a certain distance and then Force-Jumped to another balcony. She slashed her saber through a nearby wall, and sent a wave of smoldering rocks and stray weapons flinging at Wkirlt.

Rilven saw the amphistaff blocking his blows and saw in its muscles that it was coiled to strike. He backflipped away, thus missing the bite coming for him, while the blows he had rained down on Kath were blocked but left scorching slashes in his armor. Rilven resumed his stance, awaiting Kath's next move.

Both were surprised as during the battle between Atrox and Kilont, the Rager Lord had made the mistake of cutting Atrox off from the Force. Normally, this would have only cut off Atrox. But due to his Hunter's Bond, it had cut off all three Rager's from the Force. Both Rilven and Annilus felt it, and they smiled.

Annilus chuckled at the Wookiee, drawing power from the Nexus. "Tell me, you waste of fur, how do you intend on defeating me when I hold command of the Force, and you no longer do so?" She raised her hands and smashed Lightning at the Wookiee, laughing all the while.

Rilven, upon sensing the loss of the Force, gathered power into himself and let out a Force Repulse, sending a wave of Force outward from himself, which would knock Kath and anything around him away. After this, he held out a hand began to Force Choke him, seeing fit to finish him off this way.

Yet Annilus and Kath had forgotten that all the Sith had trained under the Vong at some point. All had the yorik coral implants. Wkirlt rolled away avoiding the stream of debries. All the while bringing up his saber to block the lightning.

Kath walked forward unaffected by either the Choke or Repulse. He extinguished his blade and removed the amphistaff from his belt. It hardened into and he waited. Then moving too fast to see even without the Force he threw four razor bugs at Rilven.

Darth Atrox knew things were going as he planned. He adjusted his shields so it felt like the beating was making them give a little. Atrox began to back up after each blow as if he was being driven by the accumulated blows of the enraged Rager.

Blow by blow, Atrox was driven back step by step. The rock hard telekinetic shields began to feel like they were giving a little bit more with each blow, as if Atrox was getting tired. This would probably encourage the Rager to push his attacks more.

Meanwhile, the Mindsword would sweep in a slashing attack, aiming for one of his legs to cause it to “fall asleep” and become non-responsive for a couple minutes until the effects wear off. Since the blade was made of thought, it was completely immaterial and would be unhindered by physical barriers and also would not count as an energy attack. After the first strike, the blade wavered, probably due to the stress of the attacks and faded away.

Atrox continued to be driven back by the punching attacks of the Rager.

Since you never stated you were trying to dodge the attack it would be assumed you didn't meaning it would have hit, logically. You also stated you knew it would attack and were ignoring it to pummel on Atrox's shields.

Also, to jump over a two meter height horses need a running start. Lions and other large cats can leap fantastic heights but not horses because their bodies are made for running distances, not jumping heights.

Honestly, I don't mind if you launch a counter attack but if you jump over me you will be facing away and trying to regain your balance before turning around to strike. In that amount of time I can easily turn to face you. You would be making a much larger motion than I would.

If you want the action to stay the way you posted that is fine, just be aware it takes but a moment to face another direction, significantly shorter than a (jump, change direction, attack) motion you posted.

His plan was nearly complete; the only thing left to do was to let him know how dead he was.

Atrox stopped backing up and allowed his shields to return to their normal strength instead if feigning weakness. He stood tall and proud as he began to speak to the unsettled Rager.

“It seems my series of attacks have occurred and worked together to draw you to this point. You are dying and you are not even aware of it yet. Let me explain.”

Atrox formed an illusionary projection to appear between the two of them illustrating what he was revealing. The images were clear and precise and closely resembled a holographic projection. It showed the two of them fighting from minutes ago. While he was talking, he strengthened and expanded the shields in case Kilont tried to do something before he was finished.

“First, I must say it surprised me when my particle beam had such a reaction. It was assumed the energy in the beam would have no effect much like the way your tail was immune to the saber attack earlier. The whole intention of the attack was the particles contained within the beam. Remember the attack on your boarding ship earlier? The same particles were introduced into your tail. Since you have not even bothered to examine it, you have not noticed the blackened areas from the beam have grown and spread.”

“I feigned weakness to edge you on and keep you attacking. This would cause your heart to speed up from the exertion and to quicken your circulatory system. Your own blood supply is carrying the Infection to every part of your body. The goal of the Mindsword attack was to cause a further distraction and numbing the area so you would not notice the changes occurring in your hind quarters. I even made the blade fail after the attack to make you think I could not sustain it because of your pummeling.”

“Oh, to settle your mind, the Infection is not a normal infection. It is a matter attack based upon subatomic interactions so the very atoms are being affected. It is called Infection from the way it appears to spread. All you need to do is to have contact with an agent, in this case the particles in the beam I shot you with.”

“If you had noticed it right away you could have amputated it before you had the Infection enter your blood stream. Once it hit your circulatory system it is too late, as it travels through your body, it is turning everything it touches into Thur’Tahg, the black metal we use in our Kythons and ships. Your heart is delivering it to every cell in your body and once there, it will convert those cells and destroy you from within. There is no cure other than lopping the infected organ off before it is too late.”

As he talked and distracted Kilont, he extended the telekinetic barrier around the Rager but at a slight distance so he would not realize he was being enclosed within a bubble. He also made sure Kilont’s two knights were not going to intervene on their fallen master’s benefit. It was already too late for him but Ragers can act rashly at times.

“Unfortunately for you, I was able to distract you long enough that you never closely examined your tail, you reacted in blind uncontrolled emotion and helped things along by making sure your blood system was primed and ready to deliver the Thur’Tahg when it reached it. I thank you for the opportunity to devour you from the inside out. You are about to experience a very unique end of your existence. Your nerve ganglia will stop receiving impulses from infected areas resulting in multiple different localized experiences. Some will be pain, some will be pleasure, and some will just cease to receive at all meaning it will go away. You should feel disconnected from reality and your mind will begin to float. Your body will stop reacting to your control and probably twitch uncontrollably causing most likely pain. The process should be long and drawn out for that is how I programmed the Infection to proceed.”

Atrox drew a saber he had not yet used but did not ignite it.

“I offer you two fates. You can be allowed to continue fading away in agony or I will offer a quick fate, a fast death that will only last moments.”

Atrox stepped closer and lifted the inactivated saber. It was clearly the saber of a Jedi Master and if he could tell where it came from, it would bear distinctive Coredian markings from a dead Jedi Master who went by the name Sakir.

“Which do you choose, the slow death or the quick release?”

OOC: Well, too late. I'm calling bullshit. One, you didn't say they had Vong implants, that was never stated. Two, I just checked Wookieepedia and saw in the implants section nothing that could lead the Wookiee and the Vong to be able to dodge the attacks I put in there. Aside from the not sensing in Force bit, which seems a little too convenient to have popped up like it did, the other attacks should have it, since no implants could allow someone with no Force abilities to be able to dodge someone who is augmenting their speed and such with the Force and the Nexus.

ooc: whetever then just kill them since Kilont is abut to die anyway.

Kilont raised his neck to the Dark Lord. Unnoticed however he slowly was reaching for his light saber. When Atrox struck he would plunge the saber deep into his heart.
"You fool. We will be stronger in death then you will ever be. Do it."

"No, you did not fight with Honor so you do not deserve an Honorable Death. Suffer your own transgressions trapped within the tomb of your changing body."

Atrox turned away from his fallen foe leaving him trapped within the telekinetic bubble he extended around him while he was being distracted by the illusionary depiction of his fate. Atrox strengthened his bubble expecting the Rager to attempt one last attack while his back was turned before his body fell apart as it painfully turned to black metallic liquid.

Atrox used his armor to levitate off the floor, hauling the telekinetic bubble into the air behind him. Once he was level from the second balcony he halted, out of the way from the rest of the battle and waited for Kilont to expire line the animal he was.

OOC:

Um, how did you do that? It was pointed out to me that in SW, only Force Users can pull their spirits out of their bodies when they die and become Force Ghosts. You deprived yourself of the Force with your attack.

I understand you are trying to make a final attack but without your Force Power, you cannot do that. You have not stated any other ability you possessed to do that so I can only assume it was the Force that you were using.

OOC:

Actually, I will leave it up to the Original Poster (OP) He has the say what goes on in his Thread. The reason I question the ability to become a Force Ghost is you need to become “One With The Force” before your Death for you to be able to change upon your Death. At this time, neither one of us has access to The Force because of your Force Sever. After your Death is when it would return. Also, as your cells are converted, the midichlorians are being destroyed as they are being converted into Thur’Tahg. This means they cannot grant any Force energy to use abilities.

Now, I really don’t mind your “Spirit” trying to make a last ditch attack (something I would do too) but you will have to come to terms to what Atrox really is. It will not be pretty, especially since you would not have access to Force abilities since you would not be able to transform into a Force Ghost (If he rules it is not possible).

I await the OP’s decision in this matter.

Just before Kilont expired from the poison the Force returned to them all. Kilont smiled as he died. As his body exploded in a rage of dark side energy Kilont's disembodied spirt rose above them all and plunged into Atrox's body.

Darth Atrox felt his connection be restored as Kilont's body was ravaged by Infection, being destroyed cell by cell. Atrox reached out again to the their Force Presences that felt so familiar from before. He latched onto essences metaphysically as he felt Kilont begin fading away. It was a surprise when he felt the Rager's strength flare as he transfered the remaining handful of cells remaining unpolluted or unchanged into the body of a Force Ghost.

This was most unexpected, Kilont used yet another ability Atrox did not possess. This was going to be a most productive day indeed. All he had to do is make sure they died, how difficult would it be to kill a phantom? It's not like Atrox had not slain hundreds over his lifetime. Hopefully his Hosts would not mind a metaphysical battle for one was about to begin.

This was about the time Kilont did the third thing that Atrox did not expect. The fool jumped through the telekinetic barrier which Atrox knew would not hold him and into the armor encased form of Atrox himself. The semi-transparent form of Kilont leapt across the distance separating the two before Atrox could take any action to prevent him. Kilont found himself inside the body of Atrox.

He was not alone, not by a long shot.

Residing with the black armor was the six limbed insect body of Atrox. Within that, was a Ta'Nar.

What was a Ta'Nar?

Kilont suddenly felt an immense presence that was overpowering. Dwelling within the empty and blank clone body of Atrox was Advisor Ba'El. His psionic presence was absolutely suffocating to Kilont. It was as if the being was composed completely of the stuff, it was impossible to determine where his power stopped and his being began, it seemed as if they were one and in the same.

The reality of the situation was much worse than it seemed. Kilont had ran to the one being who was compelled to devour his soul and who not only could but unknown to any others had done so in the past many times.

The presence had of course noticed the flea than had jumped ship and clamped down. Kilont's possible attempt to use Atrox's body to escape had became a living nightmare which could end in only one way.

Kilont felt Ba'El smile and a thought was projected into his awareness with a volume which would leave Kilont stunned in awe. Now he had an idea why his blows were not penetrating those pionic generated telekinetic shields and why Atrox laughed when Kilont suggested they were on equal footing. The fight was so mismatched it was not even funny, even to the most perverse sense of humor.

Welcome to my parlor said the spider to the fly.

Kilont raged in the Force. His soul drew on the power of all the other Sith present and it was so overpowering that it would blow apart Atrox's armor from the inside out. The Force Ghost lashed out with all his power attempting to eradicate the presence that was fighting him or at least destroy the body in the process. His energy was overwhelming and his Ghost began to brighten with energy. The Ghost screamed in anger a piercing scream that shattered windows and ruptured eardums. The ground shook and the durasteel plating shattered. Armor was no match for the scream as it traveled throughout the Library and all its surrounding buildings. The other combatants had no chance to even speak before the scream hit them splitting open skin and shattering bones. Then it all but stopped and the Force Ghost disappeared from sight but not from universe.

Kath seemed unaffected by Rilven's attacks, which was strange considering that he had no Force powers in effect at all. No matter, Rilven would finish this and see this fake Sith die at his feet. He had played with this fool long enough; it was time to move on to more important ventures. Settling himself into an attack stance, he held his blade with one hand, down at his right side, and prepared to strike. Surprisingly, Kath struck first, throwing three of those razor bugs he seemed to love. Gathering the power of the Nexus into him, Rilven flipped over the bugs, letting them fly behind him, and landed. He did not stop, however, as he raced forward and clashed with Kath. Saber met amphistaff as the sound of sizzling flesh filled the air. The red glow of the saber made Rilven's face seem all the more sinister as he drove Kath back more and more. The Sith struggled to counteract Rilven's assault, but Rilven's strength had been swordplay, one of the best the Librarian had seen in years, and there was no stopping his Force-enhanced assault.

Finally, he swept his foot under the Vong's legs, causing him to fall, and slice upwards. His saber met his armor and then was pushed through the crab armor. It met stiff resistance, but Rilven gripped the handle firmly and continued on. The Vong was a disciplined one, for he kept his cries of agony to loud grunts. They soon died off as Rilven finished slicing through his chest. Two halves of his body fell to the ground, smoking, alongside his amphistaff. Rilven gazed at the body for a moment, and then deactivated his saber. He turned around and waved a hand at an unseen panel. The floor under the body opened, dropping it into the sizzling lava underneath that incinerated him and the staff. A fitting end for a Rager.

Annilus, meanwhile, had returned back to her game of letting the Wookiee come after her. After all, she didn't need to waste energy dealing with him. The Wookiee had chased her off the balcony and she had entertained herself dodging his blows, occasionally blocking so as to give him a taste of battle. She reveled in his frustration, his rising anger at her tactics. She would have him tired out soon. He roared and raised his saber, preparing to charge. His roar cut short as four loud thudding noises could be heard. The Wookiee staggered for a moment, his saber falling from his hands. He turned and she could see the razor bugs Rilven had dodged stuck in his body. She laughed, a rich and chilling sound. She lifted the Wookiee up and then crushed his body, shattering every bone in his body with Force Crush. She waved a hand and the floor opened below him, and she let her control flow away. The body fell down to meet the same fate as Kath. Smirking, she turned to see Atrox finishing off Kilont, whom was about to see the final fate of his kind when they came into contact with superior Sith as they.

She could feel the Force flow back through both of them and saw Kilont become a Force Ghost. Suddenly, she felt him trying to get a connection to her and Rilven, with the Force being focused into his form. Her eyes widened; she didn't know how he was doing this but she had to stop him. She focused and let the Nexus flow into her, its rich power burning in her body and mind, threatening to consume her. She focused it and unleashed it just as Kilont let loose a scream. His blast shot outwards but was contained by a shield of pure Force, which held back the shattering scream which threatened to wipe out her troops. She held firm, but her control was not as complete as she would have liked it. A tear appeared and some of the scream hit several of her soldiers, instantly killing them as blood leaked from their uniforms. Anger filled her and the shield condensed into a pure cage of Force. When the scream was over, she let the shield go, and collapsed to her knees, exhaustion filling her. Anger gave her enough strength to look up at Atrox.

"Finish him. I don't care how you do it, but ensure he pays for this final act of Dishonor. He had killed others not involved in the duel." Rilven walked up, his arms crossed, an icy rage filling him as he gazed at the spot where the ghost had been.

Atrox was concentrating upon the intruder who had foolishly tried to invade his body. While he pondered a fitting fate for the loathsome thing, he felt the Hunter’s Bond with his two lackeys close as they died. Their powers rushed into him, giving him access to them as if he had possessed them for years. They were now his to command, part of his personal abilities.

That was about the moment Kilont tried to use his power to obliterate his body. The fool did not realize Atrox was so deeply in his head he could feel the powers the Rager was using before he tried to use them. To do so from within his very sanctuary was ridiculous.

Atrox took the strength of Kilont’s ability through the Hunter’s Bond and added it to his. Tapping into the Nexus he added even more power.

Using this power, he displaced the foci outside the body and armor of Atrox. He sensed the shield created by Annilus and counted upon her expertise with the Nexus to contain the Rager’s attack while he controlled and diminished it to prevent damage. Unfortunately a bit of it managed to leak out of a crack.

"Finish him. I don't care how you do it, but ensure he pays for this final act of Dishonor. He had killed others not involved in the duel." Rilven walked up, his arms crossed, an icy rage filling him as he gazed at the spot where the ghost had been.

Atrox nodded in their direction and began the Incantation.

Reaching deep within himself, Ba’El felt the Conduit possessed by all Ta’Nar that naturally connected them with the metaphysical side of reality. He gathered power and channeled it into a specific form. He began chanting in Elder tongue, a language that was old when this planet was just a dust cloud and forced the energy into a specific shape by the force of his willpower alone. This was Eldritch Magic, the first magic to come into being after the Multiverse was created.

As he spoke in Tongues, the very stones rattled and were repelled from the utterance. The arena shook with each of his inflections and living fire appeared. Glyphs of this sentient fire formed around himself in a sphere causing any eye that happened to look upon them to pain and blur, making them unreadable. Energy arced from the glyphs scoring the stones of the walls as a shriek could be hear from Kilont’s spirit. The Spiritwrack was causing the immortal spirit a multitude of pain as it forced the dead soul from Atrox’s body and into a sphere of glowing energy surrounded by those unseeable glyphs. Looking around, Atrox spied a fallen sword dropped from one of the slain onlookers. He reached his hand toward the forgotten weapon and it flew to him.

"Spirit of Kilont, I command you in the name of Baatizuue and the Hoary Hosts to be still. I bind you to this weapon for all eternity or until I allow you to escape. Your senses are bound to the metal of this blade. Your spirit is bound to this Container. Your life essence is bound to this weapon. In the name of Baatizuue, I command you to enter the prepared container."

"Zperet of Kehomt, E qonnamj you em tli mani of Baatesuui amj tli Loary Loztz to bi ztehh. E bemj you to tlez wiapom for ahh itirmety or umteh E ahhow you to izqapi. Your zimziz ari boumj to tli nitah of tlez bhaji. Your zperet ez boumj to tlez Qomtaemir. Your hefi izzimqi ez boumj to tlez wiapom. Em tli mani of Baatesuui, E qonnamj you to imtir tli priparij qomtaemir."

As he repeated the Command in Elder Tongue causing the arena to shake once again. With each word, Kilont would scream as if he was being torn to pieces as he was forced to enter the offered weapon. Any resistance would only offer an increase in pain only a soul could feel. Eventually, the spirit would succumb to the Incantation and enter the blade. Atrox/Ba’El then sealed the weapon with a final rite and sighed.

Lowering himself to the ground, he turned to the telekinetic bubble and caused it to also descend. Reaching into it, he extracted the weapons of his fallen foe and commanded the Thur’Tagh to form into its Kython form. The creature skittered behind Atrox taking the required position.

Turning to Darth Annilus he spoke.

“I have contained him within this. If it is destroyed, he will be released. You may keep it for as long as you wish. Remember, whenever it is used, he will feel the strikes the weapon suffers. If it kills, he will feel the death as if it were his own. I give this to you so you may make him pay for your men’s deaths. Do with it as you wish.”

Atrox paused before continuing.

“Shall we finish our tea or do you want to take command of your new fleet first?”

Once his spirit was contained inside the weapon his laughs reverberated throughout the waves of time. All was falling into place as was forseen. "The fouls." he thought to himself. "I am stronger in death then in life!" However if he was to ever be realesed and he returned to a body he would serve the Sith that had beaten him. After all so is the custom of the Charzakian people.
