Making my somewhat glorious return to the RP section of this place I have an idea for something epic. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Ages.

Every person who sins up will be a character, the beginnings of a family line and it is your aim to keep your family line going the ages so obviously this would mean having kids with other RPers either to entwine family lines. As your family line goes on it will be up to you to raise your families status within the community on the acts you do.

The first Age will be the Stone Age. Everyone starts on an equal footing and each person shall try to do what they can to help their family line survive. Do you have what it takes to last generation after generation or will you become a relic of history?

We are all part of the same community so I am expecting family alliances and rivalries to crop up eventually. I'm not even against to Familils contact each other via TG to bring others down. It's a cutthroat world this.

Welcome to all who have signed up so far. A list families shalls be placed in the OP to keep track of things. There are a couple of rules to the RP mainly regarding children and marriages.

1. Wives do not have to take the name of the man they marry.
2. To make things more fair and simpler, it would be best for each couple to have at least two children so each couple member may control a member of their joint family through to the next generation. Names will stick for the time being but can be changed later depending on circumtances.

There shall be a 24 hours notice for sign ups so around 5pm tomorrow GMT the RP thread shall be up and running. Each Age will have its own thread and a new one will begin at the closure or end of the age before it.

I'm just going to throw up the setting out there now:

The characters you play are the new generation. The generation before has died due to a combination of disease and war. This generation is trained in the trades of farming, making tools , building and hunting so survival will be very possible though now and again I shall throw in something that is theatening to either all characters or certain characters.

Get planning on how your going to play this RP. Even the first move could prove to be fatal.
