Behold. A Future Tech Zombies thread. How does it work? Well, basically, essentially, you fill out a generic RP form:

Biography (Life story not needed, considering there's a better-than-average chance they die in the end):

Enthusiasm (basically, how willing is your character to fight on a scale of 1 to 10? Ones will cower in a corner, maybe finally lashing out as they are eaten alive, whereas tens seek out every bloody zombie and snap their heads off.):


...and then your character, in some way, shape, or form, finds him or herself trapped in a futuristic city full of ravenous zombies. In joining, you agree that the events are completely non-canon; you don't have to explain how there was news about a zombie outbreak somewhere. The planet we are on remains totally unnamed and ambiguous. The ending? Actually, there are multiple.

1.) Obliterate every single zombie you can find!

2.) Escape!

3.) Die!

Choose your own. Mix and match (Escape on the wave of a nuclear bomb! Die as you kill zombies to save your friends! The possibilities go on!)

Enthusiasm: Prefers to avoid fighting, but will if she has to. I suppose she's a 5-6.

Biography (Life story not needed, considering there's a better-than-average chance they die in the end): At an early age, Shinaus, was found to be a formidible hunter, and was quickly inducted into the Federation special forces, were he worked as a support member for the Federation's Immortals (Who are a genetic combination of the three races in the Federation), Although Shinaus is not an immortal himself, but a pure blooded Oblivionate, he fit in rather well with the Immortals.

Biography: Like many Tanaarans Tora is a Gene modded human, and currently her profession is that of a registered and licensed bounty hunter.
The genetic modifications have given her skeletal structure greater than normal bone density <precipitates of titanium rather than calcium> and strength. Her muscles are also denser than those of an unmodified human she is roughly four times as a 'normal' human of her size and build- Tora can do a 'fireman's carry' of a much heavier being companion for several miles with no difficulty. Lungs, due to modifications and nanites are far more efficient than a humans., as is her cardio vascular system. She is capable of going without breathing/ holding her breath for close ten minutes, and breathing comfortably in oxygen deprived, or smoke /dust/ toxic atmospheres that humans can not. Her reflexes are far superior to human best, almost untrackable by the human eye. The nanites that impregnate every cell in her body render her immune to many poisons and toxins as well as accelerating her healing. While she needs to intake nearly triple the nourishment that normal humans require, she digests more thoroughly and can utilize a wider range of food sources. Her core temperature is higher - 102.1 she has also had the latest available Prolong treatment. Given that this treatment stretches out the life span is also stretches out the time the appearance of early adulthood. Tora looks at most maybe late twenties, despite being over seventy years old.

Abilities: This is one nasty dog with some sharp teeth that tend to be very lethal, for due to a strange twist of fate, he always seem to hit vital organs or limbs first. Thus he has a perchant for inflicting serious, limb cutting attacks with his bite, and coupled with his lack of fear and with his tastes, all makes of him a very deadly dog. Of course, he cannot carry anything, or wear anything, for he is a dog.

Appearance: A black, hungry and ferocious dog that seems more of a savage beast than of a pet.

Biography: Dogmeat was born in a harsh world, devastated by a Third World War where major powers nearly annihilated the planet with nuclear fire. He is a survivor, who had the luck of being born with a random mutation which ensured him the necessary resistance to radiation in this new world. Dogmeat has no race, being the fruit of random, cross-breeding of many of his kin, and whereas "pure breeds" like bloodhounds are now long gone, animals like dogmeat have managed to survive. Once, in his nomadic travels across the world in search of food his path crossed the path of a man dressed in a jumpsuit, a survivor exploring the wastelands, who perhaps, out of compassion with the hungry dog, offered him an iguana-on-a-stick, unaware that the chopped meat was not of an iguana, but human flesh. Dogmeat has loved the taste of flesh, and since then, whenever he smells an human being, and whenever the human he takes as his pack leader orders, he will attack fiercely and with no fear. Equally, as a survivalist, dogmeat has no issues in eating slightly rotted flesh.

Dogmeat always would die in the "endgame" of Fallout 1, for he has no fear at all, and in this RP he would charge even a Nemesis-grade zombie with a minigun. And yes, I really want to RP with a dog.

Hell, this RP is about the most people possible having a good time killing zombies with no explanation why they are killing said zombies in the first place. Kinda like the third RE movie, but better.

There are also the Bug Wars and the Cavern of Doom which I am currently in.

The most active one is the Cavern of Doom, its about an evil supernatural queen and the monsters she unleashes on the world. Those maimed by her broods rise up again and join the monsters in their quest for flesh.

Biography: For 15 years his family lived in rural Sylvonia before moving to the city. Now four years later, his sister is all he has left.

Abilities/Equipment: Medical training, shotgun, and light body armor

Appearance: 6' 1" and long blond hair, much fuller features, and an athletic build. Green eyes and a tan that is quickly fading.

Biography: She lived even longer in the country than Nate, but went to college before they moved. She lost her left arm in a car accident when a semi hit her vehicle going home for Christmas her sophomore year of college and now has a prosthetic almost indistinguishable from the real thing.

Abilities/Equipment: Penelope placed first or one national championship in every form of women's sports offered at her alma mater of Whatsamatta U, so she's a very accomplished athlete and very well disposed towards running away, very fast. She also graduated with a degree in mechanical enigeering and has a thurough ability to adapt and improvise solutions when she can't run.

Other than some basic survival gear extricated from the crashed wreck of her racing pinnance, the Compact Pussycat, and the contents of her purse, she has no real useful equipment.

Biography : Penelope has always been an upbeat creature no matter the hardships that have befallen her. Her quite, well more than quite, wealthy parents died when she was very young. She was raised by a loving guardian who only wished the best for her. He guarded her trust fund with all the stewardship as if Penelope was his own daughter. She had the best school possible and was eventually sent one of the most prestigious universities on her homeworld, Whatsamatta U. She graduated with honors with a degree in engineering.

Sadly her loving guardian died suddenly after her graduation and her legal maturity at the age of twenty-five. Don't feel compelled to limit yourself. Once again, this is strictly a "holy shit, where are we, why are we here, and why are there zombies here?" thread. It doesn't interfere with anything, it doesn't even have to relate your nation. Just make a character up and go with it.

First: Remember that Rob's is a different government.

Secondly: I'm a Conservative, and I support the war and all, but I've seen the reports about soldiers forced to shoot civilians. Granted, they were 'suspected' of being terrorists, but point remains.
