Emperor Aaron announced today, the creation of an Aaronian Senate. This will give the people a say in the national government that they never had before. The Senate will be composed of 60 individuals, chosen by the 30 sectors of the Aaronian Empire. They will act as a Legislative body that can make laws, adjust taxes and act as a check on the Prime Judiciary. If a Judiciary member, according to the new amendments to the constitution, is found to be inept or criminal, the Senate can have him/her tried and removed from power. The Judiciary can also find laws created by the Senate to be unconstitutional.

Emperor Aaron, luckily, will not be losing power in this new arrangement as he will be given full veto power over the Senate. He will also, still, be part of the legislature due to his right as Emperor to make laws. The Senate also, cannot discuss amending the constitution unless the Emperor approves of the discussion.

The Parties formed were the:

Aaronian Loyalty Party: Main Idea is to follow the word of Aaron unwaveringly

Capitalist Party: focuses on the right to free trade and little government interaction in the market place

Democracy Party: Party for the removal of the title of Emperor. They would like the emperor to be an elected president

Socialist Party: Based on the idea of equalizing the wealth of the citizens and bringing up the lower class and lowering the wealth of the upper class

Jedi Party: Based on a popular series of movies, these people believe in peace and combat training as well as promoting a focus on helping each other. (also a popular religion in the Aaronian Empire

According to Poling within the Empire the results may beas follows but the election has not happened yet.
