It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce the culmination of my life’s study. I believe I have discovered a cure for Type 1 Diabetes, an illness which until now has claimed the innocent lives of thousands. Caused by a failure of the pancreas, Diabetes is a condition which forces its sufferers to inject insulin into themselves several times a day. I believe that I have discovered a chemical which has properties which will help reconstruct the original vitality of the Endocrine Pancreas.
I have tested my medicine on living tissue and animals all with positive effect, although I am yet to have the opportunity to test it on humans. The dangers of the drug are great, due to the fact that I will be interfering with the hormonal structure of the patient. Side effects may include depression or mental illness, but that is yet to be observed within an experiment.
I am sure you will appreciate the great opportunity this presents to humanity, and will do your best to help me in my quest to rid the world of this awful condition.
Yours Sincerely,
Professor Harold Heisker, PmUP, DDS, BS, PreS
