After a wonderful meeting and hospitable stay on AHSCA the Carnelians decided to return the favor. Myaarisa Li and her Partner wanted to invite Lady Shino and her family to visit the Peaceful tropical elven islands. With out a doubt it would be a pleasant visit, hopefully things would remain calm, the last thing they needed was a cyclone or something of that nature.

Dear Lady Villa,

As a repayment of your gracious hospitality on AHSCA, we would like to invite you back to Carnelian Island. Please do not bother gearing up a ship of your own, we have sent our own to take you and your family to our island. Our sailors are some of the finest and you won't have to worry. It's our way of allowing you to have a pleasant experience with you.

When the letter for Shino arrived she was pleasently suprised. The Carnelian people were friendly enough, she never expected them to send out a ship of their own to take her own family. She told her husband and her daughter of the trip. "They'll be sending their own envoy to take us there too. They were so pleased by how we treated them they want to do the same."

George was more then happy to hear about the trip coming up to Carnelian Island.

"A trip to the Carnelian Island, I can't wait to see what they are like."

IC: In short order the designated ship from Carnelian Island arrived in AHSCA's island port. "Lady and Sir Villa, we are the special envoy sent by the Carnelian Leaders for you. We hope you will enjoy your trip as well as visit."

Shino and George approached guarded by their Milita soliders. Shino had young Marcella in her arms "You will have to stay."

"Yes ma'am."

The boat was a long one but it wasn't very closed quarters type with the under cabin, it has a single cover for the family to sit under.

"It's our finest ship, outside our own schooner. We do apologize for not sending our own that the leaders sent, it was damaged in a storm. But it is our instant that you ride with us."

Shino was a tad uneased by the boat, she hopped for the solid deck structured boat. One storm and the water would be rushing over, no doubt if it were to storm Shino would have to hold tight to Marcella. But it would be terribly rude to reject the offer of the Carnelians. (A storm could be an intresting scenario for us to do enroute to Carnelian Island) to reject. She smiled "It will be fine."

"Very well, allow us to help you aboard." The elven women reached and pulled up Marcella. They let down a rope latter for them to climb up. "It'll be a two-day trip back to Carnelian. We will do our best to make sure you have a pleasent journey."

"Thank you." Shino said as she climbed up. She looked at the small boat deck and the rather tall mast, and the small quarets which they were given. She was used to it but not on long trips.

"It's perfect, thank you." It wasn't much smaller than their hut space so it was very cozy for Shino. "I want you to stay close to me and Papa Marcella. And don't run around bothering the crew."

"Get settled in, we'll be departing soon. We want to stay ahead of any weather as best as possible." It didn't help however they were leaving in the afternoon, at a time when storms develop.

Mokan Naval Station, AHSCA

The Mokan Naval station was tracking the ship with Shino and George on board heading out into the ocean. Normally VIP ships like this would be kept under naval guard as it head out, and Commander Juan Herrera determined this to be no exception. The Mokan Naval station was tracking the ship with Shino and George on board heading out into the ocean. Normally VIP ships like this would be kept under naval guard as it head out, and Commander Juan Herrera determined this to be no exception. He deployed one of the new Hatchet-class modular frigates to follow at a distance the ship with the nation's Head of states on it. In case anything were to happen.

The sails unfoiled and the ship departed back to Carnelia. The ships crew did the usual things to keep the ship moving on course and through the small bumps on the water. Also they had to keep their eyes to the sky, they were carrying a leader of a nation and her family, one slip up, it was over for them as sailors and Carnelian Guardsmen and Women.

"Can I go watch mama?"

"Okay, but be very careful."

Marcella exited the small little compartment to watch them sail. Marcella hadn't been at sea before in her short life it was very exciting.

With day dissolving into night the Captain brought the family food. No one knew in a few hours a big storm would hit, thus everyone was pretty relaxed.

As the food came out George took a little, hoping that his stomach would settle.

When George was up at the bow Shino and Marcella remained in the small confined of their housing area at the forward aft end. Shino was giving Marcella a bath, but it was colder sea water than the usual warm water back home.

"Do I half-ta -have a bath?" Marcella protested.

"Yes sweetheart, it's important because it keeps you healthy." She poured the water on to Marcella. The water wasn't terribly cold which was nice, it was warm tropical water but still cooler than the usual hot water.

"Captain, look to your South East, it looks like there's a heavy gathering of clouds."

"They are storm clouds all right. The sea is also turning now. You best get to your wife and child, we'll see us through."

George went back to his family, normally his face could easily say nothing was wrong, but his wife knew him better then that. She could no doubt tell he was worried, and he knew that.

"We should be ok Shino."

He sat next to his wife, held her close and hoped that the crew was as good as they seemed. Boats were not his thing, and being in a small wooden craft during a major storm didn't seem like the place he wanted his family...

"A storm?" Shino asked when he returned. No less after that did the first claps of thunder ring out as she quickly embraced Marcella. Shino of course trusted George when he said they would be fine.

George sat and waited for the storm to get closer, the night was not playing fair with his eyes, black on black, the only way to tell was by noticing the missing stars. More and more stars began to get blotted out by the clouds...

"Captian, I do not like the look of this."

"I'm scared." Marcella clung to her mother like nothing before. It really was her first time at sea. Thunder crashed and rain began falling and waves began piling on the boat and flooding their small stay area. Shino held Marcella tightly in her arms.

"Sir the storm is heading right on top of them!"

"Mi Dios, can we get there in time to save them, how far out are we?"

"20 knots"

"Not enough time, can the halo get there?"

"It would be risky sir."

The Captain turned and began racing towards the back of the ship to find the Seahawk's pilots. It would up to them to decide if this weather was doable or not.

"Captain on deck!"

"As you were, Pilot, can this Sea Hawk make to the ship in this weather?"

"We can make it, but pulling a rescue op that close to a storm this bad would be to risky. I may be good, but not that good. I would not bet on us Captain."

"Very well."

He picked up the microphone off a wall and called the bridge.

"Get us on an interception course, prepare spot lights and radar, I don't want to lose them!"

George sat and waited for the storm to get closer, the night was not playing fair with his eyes, black on black, the only way to tell was by noticing the missing stars. More and more stars began to get blotted out by the clouds...

"Captian, I do not like the look of this."

"It's going to be a big one. Go back to your wife and child." The Carnelians weren't strangers to storms at sea they had to keep their passangers or cargo and crew safe. They had to navigate through some harsh seas. "Hold steady gals!"

George went back to his wife and Marcella, at this point he was not sure of the situation, but hoped this crew was as good as it said.

"It could get bad amor, keep Marcella close."

Shino pulled Marcella even tighter and nestled her as thunder crashed and the waves crashed over them. The boat was all over the place in the wind and rain and high-seas.

The tiny boat was struggling against the high seas and strong head winds. No doubt the poor family was scared.

As water rushed in Shino wondered where George was, he was probably helping the ships crew for the time being, in the meantime she held Marcella as they sat through the storm. Their cloths were washed over leaving them with nothing more than their bare skin. Fortunately it wasn't the lovely dress George gave to Shino, that remained safely in the nursery back home. Shino didn't even notice what was being washed away she was keeping herself and Marcella from washing away

"Good god! I hope this storm doesn't get any worse!"

George had tried to help the crew, but seeing as they were doing well, or at least appeared so, he feared he would only get in the way, as much as he hated to admit, his families saftey was out of his hands.

Returning to the back of the ship, he fell over as a wave struck the side. Crawling to his wife he managed to get into the small shelter of the back, gasping but still aware of everything.

"Not much I can do, just pray."

He smiled, mainly because there was not much else he could do.

"Good god! I hope this storm doesn't get any worse!"

George had tried to help the crew, but seeing as they were doing well, or at least appeared so, he feared he would only get in the way, as much as he hated to admit, his families saftey was out of his hands.

Waves continued to pour on the small family huddled in the corner frightened for their very lives, not as though they hadn't seen a fair share of storms at sea but non like this, especially in such a small craft with little shelter.

The Captain was holding her own against the strong and high waves deafening wind and thunder and lighting. She threw the wheel left and right trying to stay in the wind but it was doing little good. The loud sound of cracking could be heard on the ship, the mast was almost ready to give way under the strain on the ropes. "Cut the ropes, protect the mast!"

"Yes Captain!"

"Sir we have warnings from the naval station. All forces are to be at readiness level 5 sir."

The Captain stood up out of his chair upon hearing that, the only time that level was hit was when war was about to break out.

"What is the reasoning?"

"They are sending us our orders encrypted sir, highest level our vessel can receive."

"Fine then, get me the cipher pad software."

After a few minutes of downloading the message and finding with Cipher it went with it was only a minute before it was quickly decrypted completely.

"Well holy shit," the captain rarely if ever had cursed, this was the first time his crew had heard him. This location was suppose to be easy sailing, so to speak. The most he had ever dealt with was lost ships and escorting. However this current change in situation meant that all hell could break loose, as long as his ship wasn't noticed by the enemy, they should be safe.

The Captain thought for a moment, then quietly spoke up...

"Get us to them now, I want the helicopter prepped and rescue boats ready. We are taking them aboard. Tell the pilot how serious the situation is and make sure he can handle it."

A large wave pushed against Shino causing her grip to come lose on Marcella, George quickly grabbed Marcella again trying his best to keep her safely wedged between him and Shino.

At the embassy Isle Monitor Station they were keeping a close eye on the growing war-time situation and the weather that they knew their Duchess and Duke were likely in. The militia on hand were relaying messages back and forth to the Mokan naval station as well as all the offices in the center.

(just so I'm clear, you are going to evac us all? If not I will have the storm subside soon)

The Hachet class was within visual range by now, it shined its heavy lights in the direction of the ship, both to show them that help was on the way, and to try and spot them since all tracking systems were losing them.

The small Seahawk helicopter fought heavily against the winds and storm. However it continued to fly in the last known direction of the vessel, hoping they would notice it and send up a flare or something....

"AHSCA Militia this is Mokan Naval Station Alpha, we have a Frigate on route to rescue the Duchess and the Duke. Should have a report in 30 minutes."

The helicopter began circling the ocean looking for the vessel, but they could not see any wooden craft, they hoped the vessel might hear it and respond some how.

Then over the waves the pilot thought he saw a ship, and flew over towards it.

"Sea Serpent, this is Big Bird, I think we found them."

The helicopter flew over and turned around, trying to signal to the boat.

"I hope they are here to help!"

The helicopter began circling the ocean looking for the vessel, but they could not see any wooden craft, they hoped the vessel might hear it and respond some how.

"Sea Serpent, this is Big Bird, I think we found them."

Soon the basket crashed on the deck and the rescuer looked for something to attach it to, not finding anything he shouted:

Shino stumbled out onto the deck, a tad embarrassed to be completely nude before these Mokan soldiers but that was the least of her worries now. "If it's only one at a time, than Marcella must go first!" She shouted over the wind.

"We can carry four in the basket, but that is pushing it!"

He yelled over the winds and rain.

"Top priority is the royal family Shino, Marcella and George. We will come back for the rest once they are safe!"

This was hard for the Captain, having to abandon ship. Carnelians were proud sailors and people of the water. In addition Lady Shino was naked, no doubt it would be a tad embarrassing for her. In any situation Carnelians literally offer the cloths of their back, but there cloths are soaked so it wouldn't do them much good.

"Why are we leaving the crew?" George yelled to the Helicopters crew, "They are just as important as we are!"

"Not so Duke Villa," the rescuer responded, being the only crew member not trying to steer the chopper through the mess of the storm. "ASCHA and therefore Mokastana could be at war in a matter of hours, we need Heads of State safely secured The navy is currently occupying the waters around the islands. We will get you more details once you get to the Sea Serpent, it will have to be a basket drop because the pilots only want to land in this weather once."

"But we can't just leave them!" Shino protested. "They are the crew that promised to deliver me to Carnelian Island!" She kept Marcella nice and close to her. "Surely we can fit them."

The helicopter flew back towards the Sea Serpent and the helicopter hovered over the deck of the ship. The winds tore against the helicopter and made staying still much more difficult. The only solution was to lower the Royal family back down to the boat by the same basket.

On the ship crew members fought hard against the storm as George, Shino and Marcella were lowered onto the deck. As soon as they hit the deck the crew was on top of them and trying to get them inside the ship before the storm got any worse.

As soon as the Royal family was on the Sea Serpent the helicopter was heading back to the other ship to make sure they were doing well, and rescue them if they would agree to it.

Back on the Sea Serpent, Shino Marcella and George were quickly given blankets and dry clothes to change into. Marcella was given small navy outfit, which was still to bug for her, but if anything it was entertaining to see her playing in the outfit.

Marcella found her self tripping often with the two-sizes two big naval outfit, but she still looked absolutley adorable in it. Pulled from the raging see, Shino held her grateful more than anything Marcella was still alive and her husband. Still she had worries about the Carnelian Sailors struggling against the storm.

"Oh no! Guess we'll have to last through the storm on our own. Men down in the water!"

Several long ropes were thrown to the ones closest to them.

"MAYDAY! MAYDAY! Cobra One is down!"

The Seahawk rolled onto its side as it hit the water, what crew could abandon the helicopter tried to get the emergency life raft out and opened. The rescuer, Jason Zephyr, was now halfway out of the sinking helicopter with the raft in one hand and gripping and crawling his way out with the other. His helmet had been busted by the crash and thankfully it was not his head that had the huge crack down the middle.

The rest of the crew, pilot, co-pilot and commander, were either unconscious or far to hurt to climb out.

Jason managed to climb out of the rocking wreck and sided out of the wreck and pulled the cord making the boat self inflate and suddenly he found himself under the floating safety...

Soon the sky had cleared and the harsh storm was over. The damage was done to the boat but everyone was well alive.

Unfortunately Shino's instincts were right as another storm soon came over them. The small boat being tossed violently on the sea.

"Go check, on her Grace."

Through the pounding waves she ran to the rear where Shino was huddled holding for dear life.

As the storm crept over earlier Shion did her best to comfort Marcella.

"Are you scared mama?"

"Yeah."

"Me too, mama." She held Marcella tightly as the storm intesified.

Hehe wasn't sure you were going to show up, you seemingly disappeared! Glad to se you back though! We just decided to change the scenario that we continue sailing to Carnelian

Well that's certianly okay with me, you are still apart of this! Welcome back ^^

George stayed with his family as the storm began to rumble and toss the small vessel about. He would offer his help to the crew, but at the moment they seems to be moving in almost fluid and uniform motions about the ship. As if even the waves and foam were orchestrated and following the script to ensure the safety of the vessel, and anything he could do might mess up that harmony with the dangers of nature. So he stood back, waiting to see if they needed him, but not getting in their way

The two women sailors continued the ongoing struggle against nature. Part of the sea faring life was dealing with big storms like these.

It soon passed again with no further incident.
