Console do Anjo

(This is a thread between me an Neo-Ixania, (or one of Ixania's puppets) it's about a simple farm boy from my country who get's accused of raping an Ixanian (or whomever) girl. The boy is going to be tried for a capital crime. As such I'm sure Ixania would be fine with others being involved, media, attorneys witnesses, etc, I'm sure can be welcome. The first half of this RP will detail how he becomes accused and all the circumstances building to his trial for his life. With out further ado enjoy some long IC postings)

From the deep country side of Console do Anjo in the Pakpao province was a tightnit family that was going to be tested like nothing else. Sunan was the eldest son of the family, he was charged to help run the farm with his parents and take care of his siblings. As such when mother nature decided to throw a curve ball by unleashing hell and fury of winds and rains, the family needed money to pay off bills, mortage and taxes, or face life in a Anjo jail.

Foreign lands are usually opportunist for needy workers, as such the family had no intention of leaching off any Government they would visit. They would work hard and leave when they were suppose to. If they didn't make the needed quota they'd fine somewhere else. They had no intention of leaving their home on Console do Anjo even if they were to find better jobs, even if they we're looked on as foreigners in their own nation, because Pakpao was annexed territory.

Sunan, a boy with hardly an education pounded the pavement, determined to work to help support his family. He had two younger sisters, a cousin, and a brother to care after along side his parents. Anjo's teach the family must always support each other, regardless of whatever circumstances there were.

Of course like all young men he was always actively seeking the potential girl who could be his wife, and of course he had to fight the temptation of the deadly sin of lust. As such he kept him self calm and collected and never inappropriately sought after women. As he stood on the street corner a quite pretty modestly dressed girl stood next. "Uhh, beggin' your pardon, Maay-Senhora (ooc: A way of two languages juxtaposition against each other. Portoguese is Anjo's official language but the Pakapo province was ethnically and linguistically Thai) but I'm a little lost. Could you help me?"

"Lost? I could help you with where you need to go but you'll have to tell me exactly where you want to go."

Vespera Krüger had been the daughter of an Ixanian businessman who had married into the German community of the Empire as the second of two children and she looked quite well endowed with pleasant facial features and the clothes often worn by wealthy girls since her father spent every waking moment ensuring the presence of money in his bank accounts and, as a result, Vespera could get plenty of luxuries that many other children were unable to gain. She had been going for a walk around town when she was stopped by Sunan who she immediately guessed must have been a foreigner, most likely a tourist, who simply had gotten himself lost. Who could blame him? It's sometimes hard to deal with the layouts of unknown places.

She smiled at Sunan with her pale white teeth and brushed her auburn hair with one hand while the other was at her side in a dormant position. She wore a lovely green dress that complimented her slender figure which she had always seemed to maintain well. "Where do you want to go? I think I could help you find your way to wherever it is. You must be a tourist. Did you get separated from your parents?"

Vespera spoke in the tone of a refined noblewoman even though she was just one of many wealthy commoners scattered throughout the Ixanian nation. She adjusted the locket around her neck while waiting for him to respond. She guessed he was a tourist since he was not white because all Ixanian citizens were white skinned but Vespera hadn't been the youth who concerned herself with skin colors. "If you cannot find your parents, then we could go to the authorities. I'm sure they'll help you find them."

As they walked down the streets, Vespera thought about how it must have felt to come to the Ixanian Empire to look for work. She was wealthy, yes, but she still had a heart. "I assume your family is poor, then? I wonder if you will be able to get the money you need. What is Console do Anjo like?"

Vespera led Pablao down the street in a seemingly innocent style; she was an adorable child in the eyes of her family who had always tried to be helpful even when she couldn't really do anything at all. She was a talented young woman who had plenty of dreams. As they walked down the street, Vespera spoke. "You sound and look like a foreign worker, from your nation of Pakpao, that I helped just moments ago. For one, you both addressed me as Senhora. I don't mind it though....I'm not really much for trying to understand economic motivations."

Suddenly he began physically and actively getting very friendly, as she tried to resist he simply slapped her back. (Better not go into too much details)

It was all over in a matter of minutes, he assaulted the young thing and left her battered, shocked, and scared. Rain began pouring on her soaking her torn cloths and messed up hair.

Back at the Office, it was not much luck, but Sunan remained optomistic.

"Hey cuz!" His young cousin rain soaked glomped him. "Uhh, Kaeo, what are you doing here?" Kaeo was a more distant cousin, still she had the largest crush on him.

"I wanted to see how you were doing."

"You're soaked."

He removed his jacket to give to her. "I'm okay, just a little rain."

Vespera could not believe that this deceptively mild mannered young man would have been attempting to attack her and she tried so valiantly to resist and to get away from him but he restrained her enough to consummate the dreadful act and, when the powerful knowledge had taken hold, he simply vanished. With torn clothes and ruffled hair, Vespera walked down the streets towards the closest police station. It was heartbreaking to know that your first experience with carnal matters had been forcefully placed upon you but she tried not to think about that as she walked into the police station where a policeman looked at her with a concerned look. She spoke to him in a safe room where she explained what had happened. The policeman than alerted his comrades and an alert was put out to the community about the incident later on in the news. Vespera gave a complete and detailed description of what had happened and, indeed, who had committed the act. All that was needed now was to find the man responsible for it. DNA samples were taken and the girl was sent home to her outraged father and her horrified mother and, as well, her emotionless older brother who wanted justice. On the next day, Sunan could see that newspapers and televisions were covering the attack.

OOC: The police will come later on. I was hoping to have Sunan worry a bit since he was, after all, with Vespera. My idea is to have a backstory on how the police begin to suspect him.

"The girl described her attacker as a non white foreign worker who had come from place called Pakpao....."

A group of policeman sat in a meeting room to discuss the details of the case involving the poor Vespera Kruger which they solemnly approached as being a repugnant crime worthy of a ruthless pursuit of justice but, then again, all policemen were to be ruthless regardless of the crime at hand. One of them, who looked like a Victorian gentleman, spoke about the potential support for racialist groups that this case could attain for them. "Think about it. These racialists hate non whites who, they say, pollute the all white Ixanian people with things like this. I think we ought to make sure we don't have foreign workers, from Pakpao, being murdered in cold blood in order to avenge the poor girl's stolen virtue."

Another policeman nodded. "There are those who will do that even if they did not subscribe to racialist tenets but our stance on the whole issue should not be changed because of that point. I believe that we ought to question the whole lot of foreign workers and, perhaps, we will find the piece of shit among them. It's a good thing he did not kill Vespera. That is a crime punishable by death but I'm not privy to information concerning how that applies to foreign citizens but we need not discuss it since, after all, the girl who suffered is alive."

The others nodded soberly before one of them spoke: "I think that we'll send about five people to the employment offices of Her Majesty's Government to handle the interrogations while the rest of you will focus on making sure everything is in order with this case. Vespera has already been sent back to her parents and I fear, just a little, about the father....he may be inclined to vigilantism."

The congregation of policemen dissipated with the five people being sent to the employment offices getting into their police vehicles while talking about their opinions concerning the unfortunate tragedy that befell Vespera. When the cars finally arrived at the said offices, they announced their intentions and one of the officers looked at Sunan. "Are you willing to co-operate in our investigation? All we would like is for you to answer some questions."

"Are you fearful of people? You could just be trying to hide the identities of certain individuals from me and I do hope you won't do that. One of them could be the culprit. I think that you could just be lying to me, trying to cover up your role in things, making yourself seem like the innocent farmer who feels my beloved nation, my beloved Ixania, will simply open its arms to people like you. Did you know that, most likely, you and your family will be thrown out if you raped the girl? Well, you'd be possibly thrown out and your family wouldn't want to stay.....they'd leave out of their own free will. So....I do hope this isn't all a charade."

"Sir, with all due respect, I am innocent. I understand you must hear that a lot, but I am. If you kicked my family out of the country we would return to a CDA Prison, those are places you don't want to go to. That or we could be shot dead the moment we stepped into port. I could never do such a thing to a woman, I respect women, I only talk to socialize and coo a woman (coo in CDA means to impress or flirt with the interest of Courting) but certianly never to violate her and prey upon her Pure Chasity."

The policeman smiled. "Did you think of trying to "coo" the victim in the future or during the time that you were with her before the rape occured? I'm not accusing you of anything but I'm leaving it open to it being a possibility that you committed the crime. The DNA tests will soon return and we'll see what happens from there. If those fail, we could simply rely upon her own testimony....you're going to, I believe, be part of a lineup."

"Of course I will stand if it will help you find out who it is. And well with respect I thought she was a pretty girl so I did infact probably tried to coo. But as such she left when we reached my place so I went about my business, assuming I'd probably not see her again."

"It's pretty much like asking her out then or simply saying she looks pretty? Tell me, if you know, what does a person from Pakpao think of a woman? I think you can go after this but we will be keeping in touch. Remember....everything you have said has been recorded."

"Ah yes, telling she is pretty, nicely dressed, or yes asking her out.
Well since adopting the religion of the Holy Dictatorship we have been doubly instructed to remain virtuous with women, we must not lust to them, for it's adultery, and we must not attack them, for it's a sin. We hold them to a high regard. But I guess there are those who have fallen to the Serpent's lure and will do such sins against women."

"You ought to leave us with some information about your religion. Before you go, did you ever say she was pretty or anything like that?"

OOC: Last post for the night. I'll get more into things tomorrow or whenever I have the required time; to be honest, I'm a bit stuck on how to get him framed in a way that is easy to believe. You can TG me with your ideas.
