The reason I created this thread was I wanted to foster co-operation. Particularily with the people talking investigative roles. I'll try and do it so that everyone picks up different parts of the puzzle. i.e. Co-operation is a must if you actually want to get anywhere.

As for 'clients', you can easily turn your role from that too investigation if you want but, I would like also a few more people 'in the vault' as it were. So we get more of a balance... Hope fully if all goes well the worlds will collide marvelously and the truth will be made public for all the NSWorld to see.

My character will probably go talk with the police at some point, because murder (never mind cannibalism) is a different kind of crime than all the other types. So in whose country is she?

AR, how did you manage to bug her real house while there still is no way for you to know where she lives? Or did I misunderstand?

The information you have about 'Julia' is two cell phone numbers, both linked to a false identity, an email address linked to that same false identity, an address outside town and the false data about her in some databases.

There is one link to her real identity: the cottage has been sold from one false identity to another, to another, to another, and so on, one of those identities in that string could have been seen through by someone.

I was under the impression that the number used to contact Julia/Maria from the phone in the second house would be known to those that dialed, hence it could be used to track down a location for that number.

I assumed that was her real house, if not well, the bug would be placed as long as the address was valid.

Two cell phones, planting her real phone number out there would be pretty stupid.

They might not be born in the vault but they, but they would be raised in the vault and have no knowledge of the outside world (though in cases where they were born outside it is possible for dreams of this time.)

MT TFP is a worldwide underground organization, not a nation. I don't know how much freedom journalists have in FUS, if she's already used more than that I guess she is in another country after all... I don't mind either way. We might also say the other agencies got involved because they somehow figured out Maria is with TFP, but that might distract from the original idea too much. Also it might be more fun not to let the rest of TFP get involved until Maria gets killed (IF she does get killed).

I was thinking of having someone in the vault who had gotten there by getting kidnapped and a Federal agent trying to track her down as well as maybe having a side investigation of state police investigating a religious cult that is eating some of the products (to put it loosely) being made in the Vault

journalists generally have tons of freedoms within the Commonwealth (note, if you make her a 'native' she'll refer to the country as "the Commonwealth" and her ethnicity will be "Mitgarian" if she is not of a different ethnic background). the thing is that i have a lot of intelligence agencies; SVR, GRU, KGB, FSB, FSO, etc. i don't mind either way if she's a citizen, and maybe it would even be more convenient.

Hmmm... I don't know, there's really only so much investigating/trying to be killed that can be done in this thread. I'm certainly not having 4 investigators, though I may have a third. Which I'm still considering and would love input from our current contributors regarding this.

well, i was going to add a person from my country into the vault that my chars would learn of, but if that shifted to NCs character being in the vault and we learn about it...i'd be for it. if that's ok w/ NC, that is.

As for the escape well, let's just see how it goes...

We've got a bit of a time issue where Maria (previously known as Julia) is currently in 2 places at once as per posts below.

Please read these quotes before going on,

"Don't worry," the agent said as he led them through the hallways, "By now your computers have already been downloaded by SOUD and FAPSI agents."

They were led to a room where a man in olive-drab garb was talking to another in a suit.

"Agent Alavus, these are the two you wanted to speak to," the agent said, leaving them alone.

"Hello there, call me Marko," he said, revealing his badge, "It says KGB, but I'm really not such a bad guy."

ooc: how young is she, btw?

"Of course, have your privacy," Marko said, "We took pictures while you were unconcious anyway..." he chuckled, "Sorry, bad KGB joke..."

Marko left to call Asenya, who was already getting data from Harm's computer, as well as one hard-drive recovered from the datahouse.

"Not sure how much we can salvage from that one...it might have nothing of value anyway," she informed him.

"Do what you can," he answered, "I know you can do it."

After ending the call, Marko led Daniel to be reunited with Jackie. He stood back and smiled at their little reunion. He waited a bit before stepping forward and clearing his throat.

"Hello Jackie," he said in a calm and sweet voice, "I'm Marko. I'm one of the agents working the case with your brother. We have a lot of work to do now, but we've already set up a place for you and your brother here. Another agent will take you to your quarters, your things have been brought from your house...I'll try not to keep your brother away too long, okay?"


Later, as Marko kept asking questions, getting as many details of the safehouse and the other operatives, there was a knock on the door. An agent came in with that reporter and her friend.

Maria shook his hand. "Maria Dinova. And this guy calls himself Harm, but he's not a bad guy either."
Harm nodded.

"I guess you already know what these people sell" Maria gave him the envelope, she looked sick just thinking of what was inside. Apart from that we have images of the faces of two of them, a woman and a man who called himself Leon Grande... But there seem to be many men with that name, you know what I mean? Finally, right now they trust me but as far as I can tell the only thing I can do is order from them."

Harm had found himself a seat, Maria sat down too.

"So that's our situation, let's see if we can help each other."

Basically we can either ignore them, skip Maria ahead to with Daniel... or...

FUS can use Fluid Time! (YAY!) to deal with this as before he dealt with the Daniel issue. Basically say something like "There's someone I want you to meet." fob her off to another character who will show her in to where Marko and Daniel are.

I would rather prefer the 2nd option as disconnects rather irk me, though I'll leave it up to FUS and TFP to decide.

Seems to me that not Maria but Marko is in two places at once, and I just assumed Marko would not really be in both places, but that the described events happen at different times (either he talks to Danijel and Jackie first, and then to Maria and Harm, or the other way around).

eh, no he was always w/ daniel. it was other agents who met harm and maria (?). they brought the two to meet marko, so now it's all five of them together.

btw, what is the reporters name? i'm getting confused.

Her real name is Maria Dinova, and her fake name is Julia Novas. I think :P (too much simultaneous RPing).
