Mercenaries For Hire

OOC: I've decided to take the idea of mercs a little more in depth. Rather than you purchasing them to be used and controlled by yourself, I would like instead for them to be used in a small type of conflict involving no more than four nations. In other wards you shouldn't purchase mercs from me for use in an ongoing conflict, you should create an RP based around my mercs deployment.

My Name is General Patrick Dutch, commander in chief of the Soldier For Hire Mercenary Group. We are both a company and a military formation designed to provide nations, corporations, groups or individuals with world class military expertise and protection. Our ranks contain roughly 40 former Fordykian Special Forces soldiers, 80 former Fordykian Regulars, most specializing in a certain area. In addition to this we almost have about 30 foreign soldiers, all with training that rivals that of the Fordykians. We also have 40 former civilians who have been trained by our soldiers in an intense training program. These soldiers are grouped into units which can specialize in different tasks and provided varying levels of protection.

We will take operations on a case by case basis and reserve the right to charge whatever we deem acceptable. Each soldier/unit will have a basic price, however depending on the mission additional costs may be added. Each soldier will come equipped with their own weapons, equipment and food, enough to last them a week. Should the mission be longer, you will be required to provide additional food, equipment and ammunition. Discounts may be given in exchange for being provided with arms or equipment or being given discounts to purchase them from you.

Order of Battle

Level 4
Level 4 Units are the top of the pack comprised of only former Fordykian Special Forces soldiers who have experienced combat. They are also the best equipped with specialized equipment sometimes better than that of actual militaries.
$8000 Per Soldier Per Day
$30,000 Per Section Per Day (4 men)
$100,000 Per Platoon Per Day (12 men)
$350,000 Per Company Per Day (36 men)

Level 3
Level 3 Units are not as well suited to specialized missions but can perform effectively in regular combat and in addition are lead by former Fordykian Special Forces soldiers. Level 3 Units are typically equipped with a more regular load but can be outfitted with more specialized equipment if required. Over 90% of soldiers have seen combat.
$6000 Per Soldier Per Day
$22,000 Per Section Per Day (4 men)
$68,000 Per Platoon Per Day (12 men)
$222,000 Per Company Per Day (36 men)

Level 2
Level 2 Units are comprised of mostly foreign soldiers, some of which are former special forces from their respective nations. They are nearly as good as Level 3 Units however they are slightly held back by having each been trained differently before receiving SFHMG training. These soldiers are typically equipped with slightly less technological equipment and weapons. Roughly 75% of these soldiers have seen battle.
$5000 Per Soldier Per Day
$18,000 Per Section Per Day (4 men)
$52,000 Per Platoon Per Day (12 men)
$158,000 Per Company Per Day (36 men)

Level 1
Level 1 Units are comprised of former civilians with SFHMG training and lead by former Fordykian soldiers. These troops can be used in regular combat and are capable however they are best suited to act as a distraction force or to provide reinforcements to a capable unit. Though none of these soldiers have ever seen combat, officers were surprised at their defensive fighting capabilities during training. These soldiers are typically slightly less equipped than Level 2 Soldiers.
$3000 Per Soldier Per Day
$10,000 Per Section Per Day (4 men)
$20,000 Per Platoon Per Day (12 men)
$30,000 Per Company Per Day (36 men)

Additional Discount

Hi, I run the Mercenary camp of Avoya, and was wondering if you wanted to join my conglomerate. Every citizen of Avoya is combat ready, so we have a standing military of 10 million, with 30 million on mercenary missions. There is a 80 million man ready Reserve force, and everyone else is a reserve. With such power, we can quickly supply all nations whatever they need, so it is a highly effective force.

In addition, our store is run slightly differently, with the new vehicles/units incorportated into our army, tested in live fire, and then the entire unit is sold to the buyer.

There for our offer to you, is:

Would you like to become a subsidy of Avoya, and have access to all our advance wargear, clients and supplies? as a small mercenary group, supplies will cost a lot, but if you are in a nation, they are much cheaper.

You will only have to participate in our parliment (simply send your leader as a representitive) and give us 5% of your profits. In return we will give you supplies, transport and lodging, and discounts on all technology that we own. you will be put on a budget, as a extraneous part of our military. I hope you appreciate this offer's worth, and accept it--Avoya

A little advice from the Kingdom of Bardar;

Advertising your mercenary activities so open might lead to serious consequences. These kind of activities are what the Black Market exist for. And how are your mercenaries better than those trained by Secret Associations or Private Companies? Many nations already has deals with such organizations for their military needs.

To Avoya:
I appreciate your offer and believe me I have thought long and hard about it. The opportunity to have access to world class equipment and transportation is certainly something that should not be overlooked as well as the ability to fight alongside millions of soldiers. Still despite your offer I would like to remain independent. I am interested in discussing possible agreements and deals that could be made that would leave us independent and allow us both to benefit. Would you be interested in meeting with me?

To: Kingdom of Bardar
Our reason for advertising so blatantly is this; we do not believe that hiring mercenaries is any sort of crime or illegal action. We will not participate in missions which are deemed immoral or illegal as decided both by us and by the international community. We also carry out missions such as bodyguard work or convoy defense, purely defensive missions which are legal in most nations.

What sets us apart from other militaries or mercenary groups is our training. Our mercenaries have received some of the best training in the world from their respective nations and in addition also receive training from us. Not only that, our more advanced units are almost all battle hardened and many of the soldiers had formal specialty training such as explosives and demolitions, unarmed combat, urban warfare, jungle warfare, survival and close protection o name a few. If you are still not convinced we would be more than happy to participate in exercises with these organizations you deal with in order to prove our skill, at a price though.

To Fordyk, would you like to relocate to Avoya, where we can form a mutual agreement?

Once again I thank you for your kind offer but at this time I cannot accept nor decline. I would prefer to meet with you or a representative to discuss any possible deals in person. Due to the secretive and hidden nature of our organization we would need to meet either in your nation or in international waters.

I've had a lot better success with individual mercs, or small groups of two to three guys than an actual large organization. Finding work is so difficult.

Ah well, while I'm here I might as well extend an offer of assistance, my mercs to yours...

What does this offer of assistance entail?

Greetings I am Dictator Vampre of the country Bloodatropia. I have a "ahem" job for you. I need a company of level 4 mercs to take this package 3000 miles east of the west coast to a city called "Shavak" and ask no questions. Give the package to Jerry, The Man with the bloodatropia flag on his shirt with black hair and glasses. makes sure you are not intercepted by any outside forces or suffer the consuquences of defeat. DO NOT OPEN THE PACKAGE!!!! Doing so will result in instant assasination. Remember the eyes of Bloodatropia are everywhere. This must be done within 48 hours or the plan is ruined. If you fail me you will beg for the death that has so long hounded you! Now go and do not fail me.

OOC: This is to be done in an RP in a separate thread?

OOC: Bloodatropia, even Fordyk, who is a noob on the forums, is stronger than you. You could not hurt him if you tried!

I never said I wanted to fight Fordyk. I simply said I wanted the "package" delivered with out interference from the terrorists and spies. That is all. So Fordyk you up to it? (yes I plan it to be in a seperate forum.) The reason opening the package will result in assasination is because opening it without the proper access codes will result in an explosion that will make Japan't bombing look like a kids firecracker.

Cracks Knuckles. " I say that Fordyk, should prove him self to me, a mercenary and pacifier for the past 30 years. That is if he has any honor. Which I am sad to say most modern "mercenaries" have none off."

OOC: As long as this is too be roleplayed, it sounds good too me. Actually, one more question, how much of a fantasy element is involved?.

If you wish to put forth a challenge to Fordyk, contact them, here you are speaking only to the SFGMG. If it was to us that you wish to put forth a challenge, please specify what you ask of us.

The fantasy element itself will be extremely slim. It will be very modern, a few futeristic technological advances may be added but I want it to be as real as possible.
