Heirosoloa

[Official Broadcast of HNN]
Today, the citizens of the island of Emathite learned what the word fear truly means, because of a surprise visit from rebel bombers. It was revealed today that the government's efforts to stop a growing insurgency on the large island of Northern Oliss were futile, show by the rebels' ability to secure these bombers and fly into protected airspace to terrorize our citizens. However, the Naval forces quickly mobilized, and managed to shoot down one bomber with an anti-aircraft missile, as well as damage another badly. Hopefully this will discourage any more attacks. In a recent press conference, the Prime Minister discussed these rebels and what they managed to accomplish, as well as reassuring us that their efforts will- I'm sorry, but we have just received a breaking news update. It appears as if enemy guerillas have just secured Southern Oliss, and the true size of this insurgency has been revealed.
This will most likely be another long campaign, and we advise you to stock up on canned foods and other supplies you might need. We wish you good luck from our headquarters here at our fair capital, Path. We will continue to keep you updated; keep watching the ticker at the bottom to see if you need to be evacuated.
Prime Minister Chance walks toward his podium, safely behind thick bullet proof glass. He waves to a few reporters, somehow knowing where they are. As he clears his throat, a silence falls over the press.
"Hello. As you all know, a tragedy has befallen our citizens on the island of Emathite. Shortly afterwards, the rebel leader, who we cannot identify at these time, sent me a personal broadcast, boasting of his achievement, and informing me of exactly what he intends to do and what he wants to accomplish. This man, intends on taking the islands surrounding Northern Oliss, and then becoming the leader of another sovereign country, dividing Heirosoloa in half. Under normal circumstances this would be dealt with politically, but the manner in which he intends to accomplish this goal proves that he cannot be trusted, and that he does not deserve life. This may sound harsh, but the law is never soft and cuddly. This rebel also dared to ask for my compliance, believing that I would surrender many of my fair citizens on the islands surrounding Northern Oliss just to avoid a fight. Let it be known that I will not. But I will not sacrifice their lives either. Our armed forces will defend them. And more importantly, I wish to be there. I intend on being there as we defend our nation, because if my citizens do indeed die, then I have no reason to live. Thank you, that will be all."
[OoC; Alright. So in short, these rebel insurgents, which will also be under my control, are attempting to separate themselves, as well as gaining a few more islands for the resources, power, and simply land that it will provide them with. This war is mainly because I am incredibly bored, and losing interest in II. What the rebels have (supplies, vehicles, manpower, etc.) is unknown as of right now. I intend to reveal it at a later time once nations begin to pick sides. But they do indeed have some supplies.]
