"With the recent decision to jail those who spoke out against the government and coupled with invasion of privacy by the Communist Government of Abal, protesters took to the streets on August 10th, 2008. Armed with Hunting Rifles and Molotov Cocktails, the angry mobs that formed in Abals capital city of Providence lashed out against law enforcement officials and military personnel alike, leaving hundreds dead and many more wounded in the now empty streets. Sources claim that the mobs were being led by one Al Jahari, a thirty two year old immigrant who arrived before the Communist Dictatorship took power back in 2007. Al Jahari has most recently been placed on Abals most wanted list and has a bounty of 50,000 Alteru's for his capture. Inside the Capital Building in Providence, Abals Dictator Lemun Russkovrey stared out across to his Military Advisers. "So, where do we stand?" He asked the Generals sitting around the table. General Mai Kin Pao, a Tornisian born who excelled at Strategic Maneuvering, shuffled a few pages on his section of the table before saying "We had 23 casualties on the part of our military, most of which were killed when the mob first started. As for law enforcement, we lost Chief of Police Dennis Hawborn when he was hit in the head with a grenade. Along with that, thirteen younger officers and two Captains."
He lifted another paper and continued. "there were one-hundred and thirty civilians killed or wounded during the attack, although figures are still coming in. As for the survivors who gave up, we executed them on the spot for their involvement. The others who were wounded are going to be hung on a separate date. With the measures were taking, we can be sure that we wont have another mass uprising for some time..."
Lemun rubbed his forehead and asked. "What about their leader. This...Al character. Whats happened to him?"
This time, Major General Tim Florcok answered with a swallow. "We...don't know where he is." He said. Lemun sighed with frustration, but Florcok continued. "His body wasn't among the dead, nor do we have him in custody. Currently, all we have is his image, which we have placed a 50,000 reward for his capture."
Lemun leaned back in his seat and twiddled his thumbs for a moment. Then, he said "Do you think we should call for aid from our neighbors?"
Silence hung like a tapestry over the table for a moment before a sign of life was heard. It came from the youngest General on the staff, although undoubtedly the most talented. His name was Gaidon Howitz, and he placed his elbows on the table. "Sir, with all due respect, if word got out that we couldn't control our own people, then our entire government would loose credibility as a secure nation within the international community. If we are to inform others, then let us proceed with caution. Lets keep the aid inside our continent, and at that only with Nations that we trust."
Lemun nodded and went to grab a piece of paper to write this down on.
"If I might make a suggestion." piped in Admiral Loring Rhodes. "Should we not ask aid from our sponsors first? Surely those who have endorsed us would be willing to keep this situation a secret now wouldn't they?"
Lemun thought for a second before saying "I guess, that makes sense to me."
He crumpled up the piece of paper and said "How long until you can contact those nations?"
Loring smiled and said "I can have them all ready to arrive within 20 hours..."
