I have thought of doing it but I this come up so I wish to join the Grand Soviets fight Zinaire you have our full poilitcal, economical, millitary support!

OOC: I disagree. All he's doing is letting him know of Zinaire's membership in a defensive alliance. After all, it would be unfair to allow the Grand Soviets to go to war without this information.

OOC: It seems like it, although I have no idea why someone would randomly want to battle him. This is totally out of the blue, especially given the fact that Zinaire hasn't been online very much lately.

OOC: Hardly any of the "old timers" are online anymore unfortunately. There are only a handful of people still left here that can RP decently. That's one of the reasons why all I do on these forums now is lurk and maybe make the occasional half-hearted show of support or declaration.

It's also rather ironic that the nation of "Grand Soviets" is a Free Market Paradise.

I'd pray for you :P ODECON wouldn't take it well, especially as half my navy would be away on war games and exercises.

I, personally, would demand an ambassador be dispatched for a discussion and negotiations. I think it could make a good RP, personally, bearing in mind my nation is only a 100 million population, with a pretty small armed forces to go with it. Could be something interesting.

All the members are slowly dying away, with NSD more a chat forum than a design board now, and the many alliances turning to dust. Which reminds me...)

The People's Republic of Alfegos, on behalf of the Fegosian Union, would like to remind the aggressor in this conflict that the nation of Zinaire is part of the Union, and as such falls under the guarantee of sovereignty being maintained alongside national integrity by the alliance. Any aggression that is taken as a threat to Zinaire will be dealt with using excessive force, including a statement issued by all Union governments of our extreme distaste to the matter.

The ASoGM finds little to substantiate the claims your nation is making, and thus find little justification for this blatant act of aggression. The ASoGM would advise you to rethink your hostilities, as Zinaire probably has more soldiers in his military than you have population. The ASoGM will not become militarily involved in this, as we do not feel that our military's involvement is necessary. The ASoGM would be willing to host talks between The Grand Soviets and Zinaire though, so both nations would be able to work out their differences in a neutral environment.

(OOC: I am still around... not that I'm really an old timer. Most old timers have RL to worry about, and other ways to spend their free time which are simpler than writing a high quality RP. Many of them are still around, they just post occasionally, and at best once a week.

The nation of Dectubech weeps for the world at large, for the inability of government to learn from past mistakes. We remember a time many years ago in which a long past nation declared war on one many times it's size. This nation fell months later in total disgrace and hated by many. It saddens us to see another new nation with so much potential, as all new nations have, begin down this road once more. We implore you, Grand Soviets, give up this foolish battle. As you can see, you would be swiftly defeated. At the very least, explain your reasons for attacking Zinaire. And let it be known, that if you continue your aggression, Dectubech, regardless of the opinions of others, will gladly stomp you down. We will not let a once trusted ally be attaccked and abused by a young and foolish nation in a war that could end badly for all parties involved. Please, see reason, and stop this now.

Should the time arise, The Rchanian Empire pledges it's allegiance to Zinaire. Although we are not so friendly with Zinaire as most are, we believe this disgrace of a nation need to be taught a lesson. While fully understanding that the Grand Soviets is new to the international stage, my government finds itself with no choice than to condemn in the strongest terms the threats that they have been made against the Republic of Zinaire.

We urge the leadership of the Grand Soviets to withdraw their earlier statements to prevent a dangerous escallation in this matter. While our policy and preference is to use diplomacy and not force against a clearly militarily weaker opponent. If the Grand Soviets insist upon the path to attack the Republic of Zinaire, we will respond as we see fit against them and any parties assisting them, if requested so by the Zinarian government.

"tell the AL-52 dragon to destroy the UG bomber's payload!"

Seconds later, a laser beam shot out of the Dragon, straight into the UG bomber's underbelly. There was a muffled expolosion, and then the B-52 started a slow decent to the ground....
