OOC: First, I did not create the picture I put with the T-100 Tiger 2 and only slightly adjusted it. Secondly, I am not selling these tanks yet. I will welcome any advice or criticism given.

At its current weight, this Tiger II would have a pretty limited muzzle velocity that would be feasible without risking the structure of the tank for a gun of such caliber.

Also, I haven't seen many tanks using a 135mm caliber main gun combined with a 30mm autocannon. Good to see that at least what I've done is serving as inspiration for some designs. I said inspiration, because it seems individual on its own and I'm not someone who goes off throwing accusations of plagiarism without any evidence. It's now the time to rough the edges and make some trade-offs over this design, if you are seeking to make it unique.

I actually haven't looked at your stuff and intended to have an autocannon with my first tank. I just couldn't find a picture of a tank with an autocannon.

ooc so you downgrade it from a 140mm electro-thermal gun to 133mm

ooc: well the gun caliber for a tank really only benefits HEAT,HE-Frag and HESH/HEP rounds.

I need to consult Nianacio about the exact specifications, but the heavier the caliber, the heavier the tank will be needed to stand the recoil of the round without structural risks, unless the same APFSDS projectile is shot at an inferior muzzle velocity to that of a lower caliber one, which isn't really useful for penetrating armor. It's also why I have chosen a 135mm caliber over a 140mm one, for it doesn't matter if the 140mm caliber will allow a slightly bigger APFSDS penetrator, for I would have an inferior muzzle velocity, and also an inferior stowage capacity. Besides, I could just buy a Sumer tank if I was looking for that specific caliber.

OOC: Henrland, I haven't sorted out a price yet so you will have to wait. If anyone can offer any recommendations on what the tanks prices should be, that would be helpfull.

an interesting design. I would make a varient only for tank/bunker busting. I know of a friend who has incredibly well defended, tanks, called bolos, and none of my current tanks can hurt them.... I would buy several of the Anti-tank variety!

I have added costs. The Tiger 2 is $9 Million USD and the T-91 Fox is $3.2 Million USD.

any news on the Anti-Tank variety?

From what I can tell, you are asking for a tank destroyer varient of the Tiger. That will take a while, but I will try to meet your request.

OOC: LMAO!
Larger bore = larger (Length and diameter) penetrator + more gas expansion/better efficiency = more kinetic energy = more tank rape. Increasing bore size can cause some serious improvements in LRP-type penetrators (APFSDS for example). Remember, kinetic energy is dependent entirely on how heavy the penetrator is, and how fast it's moving. If you can make it go the same speed or faster, but be heavier, you get more energy. And more energy generally means more penetration.

Couple of questions:

1) Why does a 56 tonne tank cost 3 billion USD? Might want to lower that to something in the single-digit millions.

2) Why do you have two tanks with the same call sign? I'm sure your generals love their vulpines, but one Fox per army is probably enough.

First, I didn't notice the cost. I thought I had put 3 Million. I'll change that and the name.
