General Information

You will be able to choose either a prebuilt embassy, with enough room to house over 100 personel, or a 200 acre plot of land, in the capitol, in which to build your own embassy. Regardless, we will provide free guards, and guarantee, that you will not be assaulted in any way. We here in New Petersburg believe strongly in Morale, and Honorable ethics.

Rules
We realize that many nations are naturally wary of any Mercenaries, so we allow the embassies to put whatever defences they would like in their land, within reason. additionally, all ambassadors may have five bodyguards armed with assault weapons with him, wherever he goes. You may choose where to stay in New Petersburg, from the:
Diplomatic Sector, where the WA building, and most embassies, as well as the courts are. There are few residential buildings in this area.
The Old Town: quaint, beautiful, and excellent markets, but sadly limited space
The Business Sector: we can only offer you a Sky scraper, but still, right in the center of things.
The 9th regiment's base: for those who are incredibly paranoid
outside of town: huge estates, and a complementary helicopter

The People's Republic Of Hurtful Thoughts chooses to recognize the Mercenary Camp of Avoya [henceforth abbreviated in official documents as MCA] as an independent corporation which provides quick, decisive military solutions to practical problems faced by commoners worldwide.

As such, we shall NOT recognize MCA as a nation, nor shall we set up diplomat relations. That said, we have great interest in forming a corprate liason, whilst MCA may maintain its independence from the Hurtian government and associated tax/law-exemptions.

House number 4:
A rustic wooden barracks formerly used by the Hurtian Marines, refurbished after slight fire damage, the building is located on-base and is considered quite safe.

Unlike the others, this building is not located on the mainland, but instead on New Roanoke Island.

It should be noted, however, that the previous occupants went quite insane, as we pulled one of them out skinny-dipping, ten kilometers out at sea, in winter. When questioned, he claimed he was "trying to get home". He had also confessed to burning down the barracks after killing everyone inside, including two marines.

We counted 62 mutilated bodies surrounding those barracks, only three of them were armed...
We cleaned up the mess as best we could. As a precaution, all injuries and ailments should be reported to the base infermary, no matter how minor.

as we are a recognized nation, according to the WA, and already have several embassies, it would be foolish of you to think of us as a mere corporation. Admitadly, we have worked under several other nations, including Anemos Major, Grand World Order, and Usavara, but we also pride are selves in being an independant nation that simply leases its troops out.

In the mean time, the highest ranked politcal person in your embassy, will be considered the embassador until further notice.

As we do not have that much spare room in the regiments base, you have not been alocated as big an embassy as other nations. however, if you want, we can change that.

However, since you brought up space as an issue, I am prepared to let-off two-thirds of the diplomatic personel and half the military gaurds. I am also prepared to share utilities from the regimental base, such as the airport and motor-pool; rather than have new facilities built.

And as agreed by my superiors, we shall be willing to furbish any diplomat that you send with a new embassy on-base. Although we strongly suggest you not to attempt any contact with the refugee camps in the north.

An additional base would be acceptable. We can send a total of fifty soldiers, all of whom are trained in both recognising and teaching psionics. Please note, however, that our psionics were developed over a span of sixty years. We can also send a team of scientists to assist yours with your research. We have developed a mind-machine interface that we are willing to share.

An alliance seems beneficial between our nations. I would propose that it includes the sharing of technology as well.

Dear Sir Marc O'Flaherty,

We shall agree that your people have their right to their own soveriegnty. Whether its size qualifies it as a nation or a private corporatiopn has yet to be seen. Although I will put up a good word for you when I get the chance.

The current arrangement should be sufficient for the foreseeable future, and this stance is unlikely to change except on paper. Therefore, the commitee sees no reason to revise the application.

Currently, there is an existing shelter nearby our most prestigious military bases; but as you have said, we would be quite understanding if you wished to make a new structure considering its age and size (pre-colonial cottage).

Our Naval-base is located in the southern tip of New Roanoke Island, which is relatively remote.

Inside/on-base, infrastructure and safety is adaquately civilized, but outside those walls is untamed wilderness. The court system also goes away outside those walls, usually replaced with the barrel of a smoking gun.

But since an armed society is a polite one, there shouldn't be many worries.

The second, was in the form of an envoy named Steve Barnes, briefcase in hand, running in flat-soled dress shoes through the marble-linoloum floor to the recently remastered ASGARD briefing room, only to discover it empty. He sat down in a neatly upholstered leather chair and cradled his head in his hands in dispair. This room was built to hold over twenty diplomats around a large oak table purely for the discussion of military matters in need of immediate attention, and he was the only one present...

Pedro W. Mendez, after recieving a high-priority message form CHIA's director, decided to pre-emptively recall the entire resserve militia roster for iimmediate refresher training, he then passed messages on to two of his subordinates.

Todd McRanderson, an envoy representing Hurtful Outcomes Incorporated, had recently arrived in the Mercenary Camp of Avoya (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=572186), had recieved a fax, informing him to immediately procure as many mercenaries as he could in order to raid the Pudite and Confederate interiors.

Meanwhile, Leader Milo was still desprately trying to find the words he wished to use in the Hurtian declaration of open hostilities against the Pudite menace in the event the crossed the Chitzi border. In the end, he decided to pirate all radio frequencies and make a live broadcast in the event war broke out. He then went to work replying to the Alleaneans.

Firstly, it's "bump" not "bumb"

Secondly:
I'm just going to say this before a mod does.

I strongly suggest you cut down on bumps.

Placing a link to the embassy and/or storefront in your sig followed by getting out there should be sufficient for most occassions, except when chumming/trolling the forums for newer players that don't look at profiles.

However, such newer players generally will start their own thread with something like "looking for weapons/allies etc" in the heading. Dropping links in those is generally far more effective.

Third, a long string of bumps is counter-productive, as it raises a red-flag that the thread died, is dying, or something is seriusly wrong with it.

To remedy that, I suggest the edit button, and news/product-postings inserted in the spammed void that is a bump.
