To Whom it May Concern,

Tatton Park is a small place, technically a separate country since it declared itself independent of its former rulers many years ago. With a population of only around 500 people we are unable to function as a nation on the international stage, and we need protection from a larger country.

We are a completely self sufficient state; our herds of deer and abundances of wild animals are hunted and tended to by my gamekeepers, and in the gardens that surround the mansion house we grow enough vegetables to feed our citizens. As such we will need no financial help from other countries. We do, however need protection from elsewhere.

We need the reassurance and guardianship of a large nation, who will promise to protect us and at the same time allow us to keep our sovereignty. In return, we will pay taxes to our new colleagues and provide anything else required. Conditions are negotiable, and any suggestions or offers are welcome.

Please come and live in our fantastic country. we are very well off economically, and have a fantastic electronics sector, for all the latest toys. Aditionally, we are currently revamping our military, so you will be extremely well protected!

There are no strings attached, simply give whatever you feel is necessary back, or possibly create an honor guard unit, for our capitol, and we will protect you.

The Ixanian Empire is fully willing to become the guardian of Tatton Park in accordance with the wishes and desires of the said nation as expressed by Lord George Egerton. Should Tatton Park become an Ixanian protectorate, its independence shall not suffer from any infringement on our part and all its citizens will be given special status within our own nation. Your citizens' children will be open to attend our schools as foreign exchange students and your nation's people may visit our nation under standards lesser than those placed upon the citizens of nations not connected to us in the manner of this sort of international relationship. There is no catch to becoming an Ixanian protectorate and we hope, through it, that our nations can become friends.
