In an expanding world, it is important for nations to be active in world affairs. It is this reason that the President of the Republic of New England, Landon Blackmore wishes to officially end New England’s policy of isolationism to the world. We are a modern, democratic, first world, nation with much to offer to the world. We have a bustling economy, wonderful universities, and a thriving culture that wants to meet the world.

New England believes in the free market, so we will not set up designated places where nations can place their embassy. However, in order to be recognized for extraterritoriality, the embassy must be located within the capital of the Republic, Boston.

There is a basic form that needs to be filled out, for information needs.

Please use this thread for contacting various members of the New English government. Currently, Landon Blackmore is very hard to reach and as a result, most meetings will take place with myself, Secretary of State of New England, Samantha Kennedy. Any meetings with President Blackmore will have to be approved by his Chief of Staff, David Emmanuel. That said, New England is very interested in learning about the ways of life and politics of other nations.

Please know that the de facto official language of New England is English, however there are large French and Spanish-speaking minorities. Cars drive on the left hand side of the road, Logan International Airport is the major airport in the capital, and there is an extensive public transportation system operated by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA).

Ambassador's Background: Mr Henry W. H. Bot is Grandson to the First Emperor and Founding Father of the Shazbotdom Empire, Mr. Shaz Bot. The Empire was named partly after Mr. Shaz Bot. Mr. Henry W. H. Bot grauated Magna Cum Laude from Shazbotdom University in Business Administration and Web Design. After spending 25 years in Web Design he retired and became the 2nd Member of the Bot family to go into Politics. Graduating from the Ambassador's Training Program, he has been key diplomat for that brought an end to several small skirmishes. This is his first major post outside of the Shazbotdom Empire.

We notice that the list of Embassies which the renowned Republic of New England now recognises includes a state called the Confederate States of Urgench. We were interested to know if this is because another state with the name of our winter capital included in its own was now recognised or if your secretariat have misnamed the Embassy of the Confederated Sublime Khanate of Urgench ?
