Three Days earlier, The Government recieved word that a combined group of "Militiamen" have taken a port city and taken up the act to become their own nation. While the Government had more things to worry about like whom was to be the next president, this city was important to trade, which was hampered by its well known fact of communisim. The city was taken and trade ships would be captured or sent away. so a small task force was sent in.

Current Time
Thursday, Augest 31st, 2009 (New Larzanziban Calander, unnacurate with most nations calanders)
Over Western part of New Boli

The Mi-26 only carried 20 soldiers, most of its kind carried at least 90 soldiers but it was at short notice and the Mi-26 is the only transport helicopter that is in production in New Larzanziba. the radio buzzed "Drop zone ETA 2 minutes and counting!". The pilots were uneasy about the operation however as they have yet to see any resistance and a helicopter this large would gather alot of attention. It reeked of ambush but orders were orders, the helicopter landed in the treeless park in a plaza to the district. the soldiers ran out and secured the position as the helicopter left them. The soldiers had exactly a day and two before the news would reach across the globe, which could involve nations which shouldn't be dealt with. The group split into 4 smaller groups of 5. The soldiers were to take out all militia men found and then the full force would be called in.... and hopefully the news would be suppresed so any unwanted attention would not be there. within a few minutes Rebels ran from every direction and fired upon the soldiers.

The rebels were held off for three hours straight but not without casualties. where there was 20 now there was only 13. The rebels seemed to fall back... until the sound of a T-80's treads filled the air. it appeared from the main road and pointed at the New Larzanziban Soldiers' cover. "Oh Bloody ****! They captured Fort Bearing didn't they!" screamed one of the soldiers. It was true, Fort Bearing was only 100 miles from New Boli and contained an aresnal enough for a small army to fight back a huge one. Whilst this was occuring, any citizen in new boli with internet and a digital phone and or recording device uploaded the "news" to many international free journalisim sites

The Group of 13 New Larzanzibian Soldiers had splited up in random directions to try and escape their persuers, which may have been a good idea.

The Three who fled to the western apartments found themselves on the second floor of the complex, and uttler confused. "What the hell are we going to do now? the heads will find out and by then we'd been long dead or captured!" screamed one of soldiers as he dropped to his knees. The one without a NL patch on his left arm walked up to the broken soldier and hit him across the face, "Hey your a soldier, act like one! we've got to get out of New Boli and get to the closest base!" and with that he turned and rearmed his ak.

Things were about to get much, much worse....

Suddenly helicopters could be heard coming rapidly closer, the nationality and allegiance yet to be known, but if anyone had looked at them they would have seen that they were filled with men, ice cold in temperment; all of them clad in black, all of them armed to the teeth, and all of them trained from birth for one thing: to bring death to the enemies of Tel Amur.

I think you need to study up on the Stickies before you start anything)

OOC: I guess we're just that good eh? ;) I'll fix it with this next post, as you don't seem to like surprises.

IC:

Lt. Harris was surprise at how easily they had gotten within eyesight of the coast, never mind being able to faintly see the battle going on below. Just returning from a recent wargame, they had inadvertently intercepted what appeared to be a radio transmission by a radio accidentally left on. Their mission now was clear, command had ordered them to end the firefight and then to question the survivors on what was occurring. As far as the Tel Amur government knew there was no war here and assisting to end this conflict may have deep political benefit to the mother nation. The Amurian air cavalry sped over the apartment complex, not slowing down for the special forces that jumped from them. The men found an entry way to the inside and, entering they yelled: "Tel Amur Investigatory Squad, hold fire!"

Duchy of Rechburg

The rumours had been rife in new Boli that a new uprising, perhaps a new revolution was underway in or near the city. To the ambassador it seemed surreal as the calm city seemed too calm for a uprising to be possible.
Then hours later shots could be heard, whether they were fired in anger or as a gesture of truimph, no one could tell. The greatest indication that something was terribly wrong started when armed gangs of young men wandered down the road outside the High walls of the Embassy coimpound.

The embassy officials had been banned from leaving their compound, so they had taken to watching from the roof top, looking down into the city of New Boli.
One of the Embassy security detail on the roof had reported to sergeant major "Clem" Harrison that he had seen a transport helicopter landing in the park. He added that he thought he saw soldiers piling out of it, but couldnt be sure.

Later the first shots rang out, until they were reaching a level that indicated a major firefight in the streets below.
Now the Sergeant major was watching a tank heading for a large complex just further down the street. Tanks and major firefights indicated that something was terribly wrong, he immediately made his report tpo the defence attache Major Stuart Dawson and the Ambassador Christine Ney, a cousin of the Duke of Rechburg, and daughter to the man she was now sending this report too.

Ambassador Ney radioed out a report to the Rechburg National security council that there was likely a revolution underway in New Laranziba.

Admiral Ney, the Dukes National Security advisor and Chief of the NSC noted the raised alert status on his screen of the world, he typed in the key code and the national information of New Laranziba came up.
He immediately placed a call back to the embassy and his daughter Ambassador Christine Ney.

"Hi Dad" she said once she saw who was calling.

"Goddamn it Christine, use proper protocol when answering the phone, Im not your father when Im on this phone, I am the Godamn national Security Advisor".

"OK Dad" she replied.

Admiral Ney gave out a deep breath of frustration,
"I see you have raised the alert status, whats happening"?

"Well I, .... we think there is a revolution underway here in New Laranziba, we have seen gangs on the streets and army helicopters with soldiers landing in the city park. there seems to be an awful gun fight going on further out in the city.

The Admiral was bringing up the relevant info on his screen, info that indicated that civil unrest was likely in such a volitile nation.

"OK Christine here is what you do"
He paused, for a moment realising that this was his only child he was talking too.
"You need to make contact with the Government, and I would suggest you speak with the rebels, I want a complete picture of whats happening so I can brief the Duke".

"Ok father... err Sir, I will get that underway immediately"

"And Christine" Admiral Ney spouted out,
Yes Father" she replied".

"Keep your lovely head down my dear, your mother would never forgive you if you managed to get it shot off."

With that the phone went dead as her father quietly placed his end down.
The Ambassador next made the call to the Government...

"Well I guess we could IF WE WERE NOT GETTING SHOT BY EXTREMISTS!" spoke of the New Larzanziban soldiers as they fired back on the streets. Meanwhile, 3 Mil Mi-25s swooped into the park's airspace and began firing upon the Militiamen. "This is Echo-23, I heard you might need some air support!" spoke one of the pilots over the NL Soldiers radio. The soldiers began to run for the next city block and request that they be extracted, but when they decided this plan... the man with a radio on his back was sniped by Miltia snipers

The Amurian forces immediately sprung into action, their snipers searching out the militia snipers from cover within the room, the riflemen working to ensure that the building was secure, and Harris taking cover nearby who seemed to be the leader of this group.
"So do you mind telling me what's going on, so that my men know who it is they are shooting at?"

General Lubov was sitting in his office, peacefully smoking a cigar and drinking from his bottle of rum when an aid came into the room. He saluted the General first, Sir Look at this. he said turning the laptop he carried with him so that it would face the General and he pressed the enter key. Immedietly a video began to play showing a group of armed men, obviously not military, rushing toward a park which a large helicopter just lifted from. The video then skipped to showing a tank rolling down the street toward the same park and then it ended. This video was just uploaded from somewhere in New Larzanziba. said the aid.

The General dismissed the aid after giving him his thanks. Soon he called up the Minister of Foriegn Affairs and asked him to get ahold of the leadership of New Larzanziba to see what the situation was and if they neded support.

"Looks like you're in a nice pickle there... Care for any help?"

The barmaid turned around and replied to the obviously drunken Hurtian mercenary, apparently he was new to the establishment...

"No thanks, I've done this sort of thing before..."

She then returned to clearing a mess caused by an earlier riot in the tavern. Meanwhile the mercenary turned his attention to the television...

"Huh, we don't useually get this station back home... bloody hell... those fellas are good as dogmeat..."

Shortly after the "news" had ended, an "officer" stepped in, chewed out the mercnary, and ordered him to grab his gear and be ready to move out.

The mercenary was about to protest, as he had recently been called back to his hometown in Chitzeland to help repel expected Pudite aggression, but was promptly silenced by a rifle butt to his unprotected off-duty skull.

He woke up onboard a C-17 Globemaster, he had been shanghied... He would expect double-hazard pay for this... and besides, there was rumur his hometown would be nuked in the next 48 hours, so he may actually have a better chance at surviving this way...

Meanwhile, a very old, weary, and legless man was stuck clearing a bunch of red tape awfully fast. Chitzi's really don't like it when you steal their manpower while being told by the same people that they face a nuclear invasion, enslavement, and subsequent genocide by the inhuman Pudite army...

To whom it concerns in the former colony of Razorl:

We at Hurtful Outcomes Incorporated deeply appreciate the severity of your situation, though we surely do not comprehend at this moment the circumstances surrounding these public displays of violence within your borders.

As such, we are choosing to play it safe. I have therefore sent a platoon of military advisors to asses the situation, and provide assistance if they consider it absolutely necessary in order to keep a steady trade route open. This service is free of charge.

Consider it a return favor due to your heritage. (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13606628&postcount=31)

Major Ozor Wagner looked at the coast-line of New Larzanziba as he and his spotter, Private Uros Meyer, approached in a Zodiac raft. They had deployed from a Virginia class submarine well out of New Larzanziba waters. Currently they were on their way with a Barret .50 sniper rifle and an M21. They were going to infiltrate the country with a plan to take out any major trouble for the government. This included tanks, thanks to the Bunkerfaust they were bringing in. Unfortunately though, Ozor and Uros were both Ursavian Black Guard. If they were captured or killed, as far as the government was concerned: they never existed.

"Major, aren't you scared?" Uros asked from the back of the Zodiac.

"Yeah, I am kid; but you get used to it." Ozor replied, still watching the coast.

Then the Zodiac came up on to the shore-line where it was promptly deflated. From there, Major Ozor Wagner and Private Uros Meyer became non-existant as they headed out in order to find out where the nearest government forces might be.
