The Reasoning
The Chazakain Communist Group, had for years been searching for a suitable target to vent their rage against the capitalistic nations. They found their target in The Kazyenko Independence Center, they knew that a successful attack there would bring world attention to their group. After many months of training, bribery and theft. The group picked out its most able groups. To maximize the chance that at least one bomb would go off they decided on sending 3 teams at once consisting of 4 women and men per team, each would be suited with an explosive vest to be armed with a dead man trigger, that would (hopefully) kill or seriously injure anyone in a 12 meter radius. Each team would also be carrying a small suitcase worth of SVE (something very explosive). Each team had a certain floor where they were to plant their explosives with a 90 second timer then were to proceed to the place with the most people on their floor, after the explosion, they were then to release the switch and blow themselves to kingdom come.

Training and D-hour
As the day approached, the teams drilled and drilled again for this brief chance. Each member knowing that they would have only one chance and that they would not be coming back.

At last the day was here, the SNOWPEC Meeting, it was a cold and rainy day. The Teams went through security as planned and got through due to the explosive devices having already been delivered in a food shipment the week before in a bribed restaurant's shipment. The Teams quickly suited up and went to their respective floors. Teams 1 and 2 successfully avoided the distracted guard patrols and set up their bombs, primed them and each member went to the closest stairway, Teams 3 were delayed by an unannounced party on their floor(102 if it matters) and unfortunately weren't able to set their explosives.

90 seconds later

Team's one bomb went off, causing severe structural damage to the floor and killing and wounding __, team 2 bomb manufactured, after another 30 secs team 2's leader went to check it and after just messing with it, it partly exploded killing him and only slightly damaging the surrounding structure. Hearing the explosions team 1, waited and once a set amount of people were in their respective stairways they detonated. Team 3 was not able to successfully set their bomb, but two of the members getting tired of waiting and hearing the explosion from team 1, decided to detonated, killing their two teammates and _ partygoers.

(enough for you Falkasia?)(quick summary, team 1 bomb went off and so did team 1, team 2 only semi did, killing their leader, the rest of the group is currently panicking, team 3 grew impatient and prematurely exploded without setting their bomb)

It was mid morning when two explosions erupted from the Kazyenko Independence Tower, rocking Ekaterine's city center. Giant fireballs shot outward from the 123rd and 156th floor, raining burnt glass and charred metal shards upon the streets below. Pedestrians ran and crouched for cover, trying to shield themselves from the oncoming projectiles. Cars in the road swerved as passer-bys darted carelessly through traffic, attempting to dodge the rain of hell. Off in the distance, the first responders were already on their way; the tell-tale sound of sirens beckoning their arrival.

The area immediately around the Tower was in complete chaos. The air was thick with white dust and ash. People were screaming and crying, too shocked by what had happened to make any rational decisions. Car alarms were going off, and far above, the roar of the fire echoed throughout the city. Through the ash, through the carnage, through the building's many stories, the fire lept angrily into the air. It rose so far, it could be seen for miles in all directions.

======

Meanwhile, the Tower guards had already sprung into action. They were well trained in how to react to attacks such as these, but it was a whole different matter to deal with them in person. Each level was locked down remotely by the guards, who ushered the survivors to emergency stairwells that would only unlock themselves through a keycard. Once inside the stairs, they would proceed downwards to the emergency exits and would evacuate from there.

On the bombed levels, the surviving guards began to search the ruins. Their guns were drawn at all time, sound any of the terrorists be alive and pose a threat. Right now however, even being alive was considered a "threat" by the guards, and would result in the immediate and ruthless killing of the radicals. Carefully, the guards proceed through the twisted metal and burnt furniture on the 124th floor. Only the outer wall had been blown out by the bomb, causing the wind to rustle the papers. The fires on this level weren't bad yet, but due to the fact that there was an incredible amount of fuel lying about and the sprinkler system wasn't working sealed the story's fate. Time was slowly slipping away in the search for survivors.

It has come to our attention that some radical individuals of The Chazakain Communist Group have left Chazaka.
and now we have received word that your tower has been bombed, we feel that these two are interconnected and as such we are sending several of our top teams to identify any unknown bodies and to help hunt down any remaining terrorists(Vector will be leading 25 men and women), our reports indicted that 20 individuals of the CCG have left our country.

Separate Message to be sent after events have enfolded.
since it is partially our fault that these terrorists were able to successfully able to attack your tower, we are offering our services to help rebuild any damage and to later set up an origination to pay for any injured members in the explosion or any surviving family members.

Terrorists:
Teams 1&3 have completed their mission.

Team 2
The remaining members have been separated, Jack has currently accidentally locked himself into a broom closet.
Deck is in the stairway heading downward, so far no one else is in the stairway.(if Falkasia allows it, i'll say that the upper part has been damaged so no one is coming that direction)
Net is currently trying to set up the bomb in a locked office.

In a time of crisis like this, we cannot help be feel aggrevated towards the lax security and government controls countries like your's practice with internal factions. However, in light of the fact that the Chazakian Government has had no part in performing tihs act of terrorism, we see no reason other than to admit your Counter-Terrorist Team into the country.

Now, onto the topic of rebuilding and survivors. We greatly appreciate your generous offer in this matter, although it has been met with much sceptism by elements of the Falkasian government. A country, virtually devoid of internal policing to the point where terrorist operations could be carried out unchecked, offering help openly seems odd. However, we believe that you are sincere in your wishes, and therefore will accept your gracious offer humbly.

(technically this is the first overly hostile act the CCG have done in over half a century, i blame new leadership;) before now they were a mostly peaceful group that just protested against our national government and didn't really like capitalists, it seems we underestimated how a change in leadership could so radically change the groups outlook.(thinks i need to go make a post in my fact book about terror groups and their histories)

Jack has finally freed himself from the locked broom closet, after seeing the surrounding corridors empty, he starts towards an exist just to find it locked, knowing he can't do any damage to the hated capitalisticss if he is captured he stuffs his explosive vest into the closet he had been trapped in for 10 minutes, he then heads to the hidden cache of weapons on the floor currently 20 above him.
Deck is still continuing down the stairway, he has last track of the amount of stairs he has climbed, after testing another door to find it locked just like the rest, he decides to take off his vest and try to wire it to exploded if touched.
Net is almost done setting up the bomb, current security guards are 2 floors down from him. He connects the final red wire, and after setting the timer for 120 seconds he runs towards the nearest stairway.

Within minutes 2 jets were taking off from Aaron International and were headed toward Falkasia. The larger of the two had firefighting equipment, jaws of life, a small crane, and other various rescue gear as well as 42 members of the rescue squad. The other smaller jet was carrying the investigation team. They were some of the best detectives from the Departments of Law Enforcement, Terrorism, National Defense, Capitalist Defense, Redundant Defense, and Disaster Investigations. These 12 men could get to the bottom of any crime. Within a few hours they were contacting Ekatarine airport tower (ooc: what is the name of the city?) and requesting permission to land.

OOC: Ekaterine. Sorry for the confusion by the way Chazaka.

IC:
On ground level, sirens became louder as the first responders closed on the scene. What awaited them was a sight no training could have prepared them for. It was simply a warzone, covered in a fine white powder like snow on a winter day. This dust was so thick, it hung in the air like fog, limiting vision to only a few feet in all directions. Cars lay abandoned on the side of the road or in the middle of streets, some of which were clearly damaged. Molten shards of metal were still raining down, impacting the ground like rain. Bodies, although very few, lay strewn across the sidewalk and pavements, mangled beyond recognition.

The first responders, mostly fire fighters and medical workers from the nearby Ekaterine International, were unprepared for the sights at hand. They stood next to their trucks, too stunned to do anything. "Falkasia was a great country, and nothing like this could have truly happened. It was all a dream.," they thought in a daze.

An explosion came from above as a gas line ruptured, jolting the workers from their trance. Through the dust and smoke, the fire crews assembled their materials and began to secure the ground. They rummaged through the debris for wounded, putting out any spot fires they came across. Until the situation stabilized and a command structure could be established, the crews wouldn't even be approaching the Tower entrance. Then again however, they likely wouldn't be able to find it.

The single Pumper Truck the fire fighters had arrived in began to deploy hoses, not for use against fires, but to weight the dust down and improve visibilty. The hoses were manned, and water began to jet out of the ends, eating directly into the thick cloud of dust. It would take a while, but visibilty slowly improved to the point where faint outlines of rubble and buildings could be seen. Towering in the middle of all this was the Kazyenko Independence Center, still standing proudly amid it's inner fires.

======

Meanwhile, the remaining guards continued to scour the ruined levels for survivors... or more importantly, terrorists they could ahve the enjoyment of killing. Pride was running thick through their veins, pumping their search foward. The fires on the 124th floor were getting increasingly violent, and soon the whole level would be ingulfed in flames. Of the 20 odd guards stationed on the level, only 4 had been confirmed to have survived the blast. These four were now hunting down the terrorists and looking for the survivors at the same time.

As the guards advance, their senses are put on alert by the sound of a creaking door. They turn in that direction, time enough to see a dark figure burst out and head for a nearby door leading to the stairs.
"Stop where you are," the guards shout in unison, bringing their AK-113 Carbines to bear on the target and deactivating the safeties. "We will shoot you! Hands above your head now!"

Amid frantic cries from controllers diverting other air traffic to ones who had simply collapsed in their chairs, a messgae was recieved from the Aaronians for permission to land. Although there had been explicit orders to redirect all flights to other airports, a small memo had arrived only moments before allowing the small planes to land. The giant smoke cloud had drifted over the airport as well, making visibility horrible and landings extremely dangerous. Most of the airport employees had left their jobs to go help with the attacks, so there was little in the way of ground clutter. The airport, although concealed by white, was a ghost town.
"Roger that," the controller's monotone voice responded into the transciever. "Cleared to land on whatever runways you can see."

That sounds reasuring thought the pilots sarcastically. They prepared for an IFR landing (Instrument Flight). They landed on runways 27 and 15 surprisingly smoothly and taxied to an appropriate area. The investigators and rescue team proceeded to put on gas masks and unload. They then contacted the tower to find out if there were any trucks available for their equipment.

As soon as the news of the terrorist attack in Falkasia came in, there was panic. President Keupir was at his desk when he got the news. 10 seconds after the news ticker scrolled across the bottom of the screen, his telephone rang. On the other line was Oliver Gernald, the Secretary of State.

"D'you see the news? They fucking bombed the the Kazyenko Center!" Yelled Oliver, panic in his voice.

"Those damn Falkasians had it coming." Replied Joseph.

"This is not a joke Joe. They were in the middle of a SNOWPEC meeting! Some of our best diplomats are there, not to mention CEOs of every major comapany in the industry!"

"What? Shit. Get their embassy on the phone. Ask if they've got any news. I'll call back in a few minutes." Replied Joseph

At that moment a young man, one of the President's top aides entered the office.

"Have you h-"Said the aide

"I know" Interrupted the President "Get a press release ready, and get the Secretary of Security in here." With that, he dismissed the aide.

He picked up the phone again. There was no dial tone, instead, and operator immidietly responded. "Where can I direct your call Mr. President?"

"Secretary of Trade"

"Just a moment Mr. President"

After a short pause, Hanz Heroldel, the Secretary of Trade answered the phone. "Yes Joe?"

"Your people got any word on the Kazyenko Center bombings?"

"Nothing more then what's on the news."

"Thats fine Hanz, I've got Gernald on the phone with the embassy right now. Listen, could you come over here? I'm expecting the Secretary of Security soon and I wan't you to be there."

"Sure Joe." Said Hanz, before hanging up.

After 15 minutes, Oliver Gernald called again.

"I'm back Joe. The Falkasian ambassador said that there wern't any SNOWPEC casualties reported as of yet."

"Good" replied Joseph, as a knock came at the door.

"Listen, the Secretaries of Security and Commerce are here. I'm putting you on speaker."

"Sure"

"Come in," Said Joseph. Through the door came two imposing fugures. Over 6 feet tall, both of them. One the left, with short cropped brown hair, the Secretery of Security stood. On the right, his head framed by long black hair, stoop Josph's old friend, the Secretary of Commerce, Hanz Heroldel.

"Any news?" Asked Joseph, direct the question toward the man on the left.

"Nothing yet Mr. President. We've dispatched and antiterrorism team. They should arrive withing the hour."

"Great. I was just about to ask you about that. Do we have approcal by Falkasia."

"We're working on it sir. The lines are a little tied up right now."

"And nothing from the embassy? I'm sure they have a direct line."

"We havn't tried them yet sir."

"Well get the hell on it!"

"Yes sir" Said the Secretary of Security, leaving as he did so.

When he was safely out of earshot, Joseph said "I swear, sometime that man just makes me want to..."

In it, were 20 of the best minds in counter-terrorism that the nation of New Kereptica had to offer. Each was the top of his field, with more doctorates then ingredients in the average sports drink. OOC: Nice post.

IC:
The Falkasian Embassy in New Kereptica was a buzz with activity. Guards had secured the area and were doing regualr patrols around the perimeter. If the Kazyenko Bombings were only a phase in a larger plan, they would be ready. The Complex's gates had been fortified, as had the building itself. The helicopter on the nearby landing pad was being warmed up, so an evacuation could commence almost instantly.

Inside the building, aides and guards hurried around frantically, trying to get a graps on what had just happened. Papers had been flung everywhere, coffee lay spilt on the white marble tile, briefcases lay unattended on tables, it was chaos. Upstairs was the Ambassador, inside his office trying to make a phone call over the shouts and calls of his advisors. The large doors wooden doors leading to his office were flung open, giving him a view out into the trashed hallway. On the phone was New Kereptica, attempting to get a line through to Falkasia.
"Yes, I know," the Ambassador said, "I'm trying as hard as I can. The lines are just too filled with other calls."
An aide approached the Ambassador, shoving a piece of paper infront of him. Without looking the document over, the Ambassador signed it and gave it back.
"Yes, I'm trying. Hold on."
The Ambassador pressed a button, attempting to redirect the call to Falkasia for at least the 30th time. Again, the line failed.
"Ok, it's not working. I'll keep trying, but no promises.... Yes, yes of course. I don't see why a team of Counter-Terrorism agents couldn't do any harm. I'll call it in to the higher-ups, phone lines be willing. If not, you have my expressed permission to land at Ekaterine International. Now, let me try again."
The Ambassador pressed the smae button again, and this time the call went through.
"Thank god. Ok, you're through. I'll get the Prime on the line."

In progress. Had to go abruptly.

"Permission granted. Please proceed to runway 8, at 9R/25L." Responded Air Traffic Control.

"Roger. 9R/25L"

The plane jerked and bumped as the pilots turned the ramjets off, abruptly bringing the plane back from the doorstep of Mach 4. Circling around the airport, the pilots moved in for the final descent, throttling back the main engines as the went. The landing was smooth and uneventfull.

On the ground, the pilots again radiod Air Traffic Control.

"Taxiing Tower, hangar?"

"Stop at the end of the runway. Transportation from the Kereptecean embassy will meet you there to bring your passengers to ground zero. Hangar to be determined."

"Roger"

The plane slowed again, now relying on only it's forward momentum to carry it to the end of the runway. The pilots could see 2 black SUVs heading down a small maintenance road toward the end of the runway, led by a police car.

"Attention passengers. You will be disembarking soon. Transportation from the Kereptecean Embassy in Falkasia will be there to bring you to the site of the bombings. You will be further briefed in the cars."

At the end of the runway, the plane stopped, the passengers got off, they entered the SUVs, the cars drove off, the plane recieved conformation from the Tower that he was to return to New Kereptica, the plane took off, and all was well.

Except for the smoking building and the city in chaos of course.

At Ground Zero, the smoke had lightened up enough where you could walk around relatively easily. More fire, medical, and police crews had arrived, and were already ascended the flights of stairs into the tower in the search for victims. In a nearby office building on the ground, the lobby had been commandeered by local authorities to act as a Headquarters and Staging Facility for the operations. In charge was Colonel Jan (pronounced Yan) Morozov, commander of the 1st KSK Anti-Terror Group of Falkasia. He was surronded by his team, each carefully reviewing a map and plans of the building in case a dynamic entry was needed. Each was well trained in the field of counter-terrorism, as well as other essential fields required to maintain an active squad.

Agents from every different division of the Falkasian Government, as well as numerous police officers and medical staff scurried across the tile floor of the lobby, carrying out their duties in the helter-skelter environment. Most of the upper floors of the building had been converted into relief centers, makeshift field hospitals, barracks, and operations hubs. Finally, on the roof was a rendezvous point for helicopters, either ferrying crews to the roof of the Kazyenko Tower, ferrying fresh crews in, or just sitting there in reserve. More importantly however, there were three KSK sniper teams positioned across the surface, each with overlaping sightlines of the ground below.

======

The first foreign support onscene was from the Aaronians, who arrived very nonchalantly at the Field HQ. They approached the Colonel, requesting some work to do.
"Well, I need more staff down here," Jan said to the Aaronians. "I desperately need more operators up with communciations. Our systems have been overwhelmed with calls."

======

The SUVs drove from the airport through the smoke-filled downtown Ekaterine, occasionally stopping at a traffic light or checkpoint. No expense had not been taken in securing the area in an attempt to prevent any other attacks, which resulted in a major headache for whoever was going through. Heavily armed police and military check points dotted the road every mile or so, each performing more careful and scrutinous checks that the one prior. However, due to the vehicle being of international origin and cleared by the government, it was able to pass through these with little delay.

As the vehicles approached Ground Zero, the smoking Kazyenko Tower loomed awesomely over the signifcantly smaller Ekaterine skyline, dwarfing even the sparse highrises in the area. Over the city hung a cloud of smoke from the blast, settling into the populace's heads and bodies. Everything was gloomy and in chaos. After dodging a few burnt out car hulks and some sucidical civilians, the SUVs arrived in front of the Field HQ, recently and hastily converted from an office lobby. Outside was a small army of Falkasian Guardsmen and light armored vehicles, as well as crudely constructed sandbag fortifactions. The soldiers were trying to make the area look safe in an attempt to bring back a small sense of security to the shaken civilians.

The SUVs stopped in the middle of the ash covered road. On both sides were rubble and charred metal, burnt cars and damaged equipment. Higher up, shouts and calls could be heard, as could the ever increasing sound of jackhammers and construction vehicles. The drivers got out and opened the doors for the New Kerepticeans, who got out and walked to the door. They were not stopped, although some of the Guardsmen gave them weary glances. As the approached, the glass lobby doors were opened by a police officer, revealing the chaotic scene inside.

Bomb:
The remaining bomb continues to countdown, 15 is now flashing on the bomb's screen, the first batch of chemicals that must be combined to create the explosion in 15 (minutes), have just been released inside the casing, when the second batch is released in 5 (minutes) the explosion can not be stopped(note all the bombs had different yields, and make ups, this was done to make it harder to figure out who did the attacks and to dearm any bombs found)(and yes Net screwed up while set up us the bomb.)

Vector Team:
Vector headed towards the office lobby, that seemed to be the main command center of the area, dodging a man who had just bend down to tie his shoe. The rest of his team has found the nearest guard station is helping figure out if any bodies found so far are the terrorist suspects from Chazaka.

Terrorists:
Jack is currently on the floor with the cache of weapons and is two offices down from its hidden compartment.
Deck has found that the stairway next to floor 14 has been blocked off by debris from the explosion, and is currently trying to get out of the stairway.
Net has just finished tieing his shoe, and thanking his stars that Vector did not recognized him.

Lucas Hanks motioned for a couple of workers to remove a large case from the back of his SUV. They unloaded it and Hanks said to the colonel, "This might help, it's a special radio system just built by Wolftech. Its basically a radio control system that divides a signal among ten different radio signals. Each one picked up by 5 of the 50 handhelds. This may help you screen those calls. Also, these guys are targeting structural points on the building and based on the pattern, there is probably a bomb on the 21st floor based on the outside appearance and the blueprints I looked over on the plane (ooc: which floor is it on?)

The rescue team put their gear on and headed into the building to look for any injured and any terrorists if they found them. They split into groups of two andstarted heading up toward the upper floors of the building.

A civilian, completely tattered and covered in soot from the blast stumbled blindly towards a stairwell. In front of this stairwell was a suitcase, completely upright and out of place. Not thinking straight, the civilian stumbled towards it in hopes of finding something to drink or communicate with. He knelt down and opened it, revealing an intricate mess of wires and chemical vials. Some of the vials were already empty, others were still half-full. Again, not thinknig at all, he lunged towards a vial containing a watery-like substance and ripped it away from the wires and backing, dropping it by accident onto the concrete floor. The glass container shattered, spraying the liquid all over the ground. It was only now the citizen noticed an ominious neon ticker inside the box. It was stuck at 13, not moving at all.

It then began to set in. This was one of the bombs that was used to blow the building, and he had just disarmed one.

Major Gregori Dominov walked ahead of the small group from New Kereptica. Through the chaos of the lobby, he aproached the man who seemed to be in charge.

"You are the one in charge here I presume? I'm Major Dominov, Kereptecean Counter-Terrorism. Listen, we need some place to set up."

The man, who Gregori could now see was on the phone, gestured toward an unnocupied corner. In it sat a few folding tables and chairs.

He gestured to the group behind him. They followed him to the corner, setting down the large cases that they carried.

"They do know who we are, right?" Asked one member of the group.

"Doesn't matter. We will do our job no matter the conditions."

The group began setting up their equipment. Out of those few cases came some of the most advanced electronics in the world. There were laptops that could outperform a $50,000 custom civillian desktop, and survive a nuclear blast. There were radio scanners that could record and catelogue 10,000 channels in real time. There were scanners that could decect preciesly what kind of explosive was used by analyzing the air around the blast site a week after it happened. There was everything that the most zelous watcher of 24 could imagine, and quite a few things that he couldn't.

"Tim, get over to whereever they are coordinating the evac," Said Dominov "See if any of the SNOWPEC reps are out yet. Hanz, if they are, I want you to take them to the embassy. Georg, start monitering the radios. I want to know immidietly if anything comes up. Sarah, go and see how they are checking the building, and get me some blueprints while you're at it."

The people jumped to their jobs, used to Dominov's commanding tone. They had all worked under him before.

OOC: Chazaka, you don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but...why are you writing in the present tense? It really doesn't make any sense from a literary perspective, as most (if not all) stories are told in the past tense. The way you're writing right now makes it seem like your characters are in a video game rather than a book (as is the norm on Nationstates).

I'll put up an IC response soon, Falk.

OOC: That's not how the English language works, unfortunately. If you're writing a story (or an article, for that matter), you're supposed to do it in the past tense.

HOWEVER, seeing as you're essentially spelling everything right, and using proper grammar (and you're not godmodding/wanking/etc), don't let me dissuade you from writing in whatever manner you please.

IC:
The Falkasian KSK began to rapidly ascend into the building, occasionally stumbling past pieces of wreakage, or side tracking to locate victims among the rubble. Higher above, emergency helicopters ahd already begun arriving and dumping water atop the burning building. Any suspicious figures the KSK saw, they were ordered to detain. One of the terrorists had already massacured a group of civilians below, resulting in his own death by fire hose and pistol rounds.

The building shook as each helicopter approached and went into a hover, dropping the water buckets on visible hotspots. The soldiers were almost oblivious to the evident instability, as they had faith in the building's construction. Something else drove them upwards however, the search for those who were responsible. After roughly 10 minutes of quick climbing, the KSK were side tracked by the evident sound of banging. As they isolated the noise and went to help the victim that was causing it, they were caught off guard by the fact that it was coming from a closet door and not a trapped civilan. Upon closer inspection, they realized the room contained... or had contained... substanital amounts of firearms. It was now when the facts began to dawn on the men. This wasn't a lone attack, but an inside job. Someone with interior know-how had helped, and whoever it was would pay.

Again, the KSK was interrupted by the sound of footsteps descending from upper levels. Quickly, the soldiers lined up for a breach manuevur on the door they had just entered through. The door was kicked in, sending it flying into the adjacent wall of the stair well. Moments later, the KSK quickly flew throguh the door, leveling their rifles at two armed men walked down the stairs. It was the terrorists, and payback was long overdue.

IC: As the soldiers raised their weapons towards the terrorists, they quickly came to the realization that these people were infact not combatants, but armed civilians scared for their lives. Quickly, the KSK disarmed the citizens and escorted them to ground level, passing by the body of a supposed terrorist being rushed to the morgue on a stretcher.

Back inside the makeshift Headquarters building, the KSK leader was just recieving word of a very preliminary casualty analysis. The estimated casualties were in the low hundreds, with an estimated minimum of a few dozen. This report was soon followed by another list, this one detailing the names of those who had been pulled from the rubble, confirmed dead, or both. Much to his relief, none of the SNOWPEC representives were on the list. He knew deep down though, that as time progressed, SNOWPEC names were more than likely going to be added.

Three hours before the bombing, a commercial plane had come into the nearest airport. John Baker had gotten off the plane and proceeded to make his way to his hotel room. He was tall, had dark hair, and in general looked like an average person, perfect for his line of work. Baker was with the Democratic Republic of Aglorea and had been sent into the country to take over the post for another Aglorean agent that had left a short while earlier. Had he still been there, maybe some word of the bombing would have been picked up.

Immediately after the bombing, Baker had been given direct orders to proceed to Ground Zero, get what information he could, and help as needed. Baker put on a clean grey suit with a navy blue tie, and set out to the bomb site. Flashing a few cards got him past most of the security personelle, and he had soon made his way towards someone that looked like they were in charge.

---------
In the Democratic Republic of Aglorea, President Chris Rescudo watched the news screens with interest. He had his Secretary of Security send a call to Falkasia to mention the presence of an Aglorean agent. Hopefully everything would work out in the end.

"Yes sir. Three. They're in the hospital now. No major injuries but they're pretty shaken up."

"Get them over here."
