Brining in guests to AHSCA was usually a big chore for those involved. Those who fly lad at Embassy Isle and hop on a small boat to the main island. Those who come in by boat (And they seldom do) still do the same. But with the ever need for good relations the Militia bucked up and did as they were instructed.

Shino prepared her self, putting on the dress her husband gave to hear during the last hurricane. She liked having something much nicer than her usual white unitard to wear. Marcella was also dressed up nicely too. Fortunately the monsoon storms were holding off, and hopefully they would be long enough to allow a smooth meeting. New Congress Majority Keanea was also excited to meet the new reps.

James Bloodsworth was a novice at the art of meeting foreign representatives but he had posessed a confidence that refused to let his mind get all concerned about the possibility of success. Dressed in appropriate clothing that allowed him to retain his professional look, James Bloodsworth stepped off the boat that he took from Embassy Isle and looked around at what he deemed to be a lovely land. All he had to do, now, was wait to be welcomed.

James smiled. "I never expected that I'd be meeting the Duchess' family but I would be honored if I could be graced with their presence. I am looking very forward to our talks and I'm hopeful all goes well."

"The Free Land of Spensonia was founded by a group of English radicals who had desired to create a nation based on the ideas of Thomas Spence and they were later joined by refugees from the Irish Famine of the 1800s. Both groups worked together to create Spensonia and, indeed, my ancestors were among them. We are a multicultural nation but our multiculturalism is Eurocentric because only Europeans live in Spensonia and hence we'll label it as Eurocentric. We are newcomers to the international stage so we have not done much yet but we hope to gain the respect of the world soon enough."

As if cued Congress Leader Keanea entered. She had on a simple pair of overalls, she looked like a farmer almost. "Good to meet you, I'm Keanea, I'm the new Congressional Leader, from the National Lesbian Party. Oh I've got a bit of bad news Milady, it looks like it's going to storm soon." With little time thunder crashed echoing through the chamber. Marcella clung to her mother. "Guess sooner than later."
