The Weavers seldom got out of Kurona. There was always some business to be done but after a long while of polotics, family and matters of state they were well on their way. The HMS raven departed from it's port in Kurona (I assume you have a sea port, if not well you can I was flown in from a neighbor) It was a long and rough journey over rough seas and through big storms. Himeko was enjoying the ship listing, while Tomiko clung to her mother in fright. Tomoyo comforted and sang to her in a pleasent and sweet tone. The Prince and her Husband, Robert stumbled in. "Robert, how's it looking?"

"Rougher, but the Captain will keep it under control."

"My crew is strong and hardy. I've made it through hurricanes with them."

And the seas calmed eventually and they arrived soon with no further trouble.

Richard Savage didn't expect to hear that the Princess of Kurona who was going to be meeting his foreign minister would be accompanied by her husband and children but he didn't seem to mind as he studied the works of Thomas Spence which he often read in the hopes of learning about the man whose ideas shaped the nation. It was the will of the Founding Fathers (http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/PRspenceran.jpg) that Spence's ideas concerning the centralization of government in the hands of the civil parishes were to be implemented and Richard had always hoped that he could conserve the parish-centered government as his predecessors had successfully accomplished. As he read a copy of Spence's The Real Rights of Man, Mikhail Fyodorov had been freshening himself up at his mansion while his pregnant wife, Nadezhda, watched him in the company of her two children whose names were Vladimir and Elena. Mikhail thought that his family could get Tomoyo's family away from her so that he could have his meeting with her without the families around. Once all was said and done, they drove to the site of the meeting while the Kuronan airplane landed in New Manchester which was the capital of Spensonia in homage to the city where, in England, the Peterloo Massacre had occured. New Manchester was a massive city filled with skyscrapers owned by companies which were led by the descendants of Confederate Americans and the massive Ironwood Palace which had been set aside by the Founding Fathers as the headquarters of the House of Commons and the Senate which had been created along the lines of the American Senate.

When the Kuronan airplane had landed at the airport, the welcoming party which had been composed simply of a bunch of suited officials rushed to the scene and showered the visitors with welcomes and smiles before leading them to a motorcade and, once they were all in the motorcade's armored confines, they were told about the meeting at hand. "Mr. Fyodorov requests that his meeting with Princess Tomoyo be private so he has arranged for her family to spend time with his own during the duration of the said meeting."

"He just want's to see me?" Tomoyo asked.

"Go on dear, I'll take care of the girls."

"We aren't going to be with mama?" Tomiko asked

"Don't worry sweetheart, she'll be back."

"You'll be okay Chalres?"

"You know I'll be fine. I've been with the girls before. You go on."

"Okay, you be good for your papa, and I'll bring you something very nice."

"Yes mama." Her girls complied. Tomoyo kissed them both.

The official smiled. "Mr. Fyodorov only feels that it would be more easier if the children were not present during the meeting and, as well, that they may be bored with its proceedings but he says that his own children will gladly play with them and keep them occupied. We will be at the meeting site in about several minutes so, until then, shall we discuss what Kurona wishes from Spensonia? To be honest, the idea of a monarchy and so forth was considered repugnant by our founders but we never forbid ourselves to turn a foreign monarchy into a friend."

"You're right, I am making my children into digafied young Princesses but kids are kids.

We have allys who aren't monarchs. We don't impose the Monarch rule on other nations, just we ask for friendship. Though I usually hold off on discussing any maters of business until I am in the presence of the officals. Unless you desire me to do otherwise, than I can."

The motorcade soon arrived in Islington Street with all its massive government owned buildings in which the various ministries managed their respective tasks with passionate efficiency coupled with patriotic devotion. It did not take long for them all to find the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry where Mr. Fyodorov had been awaiting the arrival of the Kuronan visitors and, indeed, the visitors were brought inside where they were greeted by a pregnant woman, a fourteen year old boy, and a girl two years younger than him. Tomoyo was taken away from her family while Mr. Fyodorov's family greeted them enthusiastically as if they were at a family reunion.

Tomoyo was taken to the office of Mr. Fyodorov which was easy to find due to the golden letters that were engraved on the front door of it and, entering it, one could find all sorts of pictures and books of various kinds and styles along with the man himself: Mikhail Fyodorov.

"Your Highness, it's a pleasure to meet you." Mikhail said calmly with a smile.

"I believe that we should discuss the embassy question first. After all, isn't the exchanging of embassies the basic foundation of all diplomatic relations between nations?"

"Of course, the embassy usually comes with me. Our ambassador is getting set to arrive in your nation. She's likely departing from Port now. Speaking of which, could I trouble you for some tea if possible? It was a very stormy trip here and my stomach is a tad upset."

Mikhail nodded before he had someone go off to prepare some authentic English tea before replying to what Tomoyo had said. "That is good to hear on my end and, indeed, our nation has already sent its ambassador straight to Kurona and I'm sure he'll get established quite quickly."

The tea soon came and Mikhail smiled. "This is authentic English tea, Your Highness, and I hope it's good enough for you. My nation was founded originally by English radicals and later on by refugees of the Irish Famine. As for my own group, the Russians, we came much later but made ourselves proud citizens of this Eurocentric nation of ours. My secretary, Celeste, is of French blood. She isn't here today since she's quite busy with personal matters."

"Interesting, my nation too was founded by European and Japanese refugees. So we have some Euro influence as well as Japanese influence. My ship for example, very European design but my home and capital city, very Japanese. Same is through the country. You visit Kurona you will be very surprised of our life style. One foot in the Past one in the Present. My family and I sailed here for example, and like I said, it was a very stormy ride."

We don't have any non whites in our nation, as I recall, save for tourists and ambassadors. Perhaps, in the future, you may get a tour of my nation."

"Wow, pretty limited. Well that's how it goes I guess. I would love to have a tour of your country. So would my little girls. It's important for them to learn as they will be taking my place someday." Tomoyo loved bragging about her children. The typical mother as she pulled out pictures. "This is Himeko, she's my first born, my immediate heir apparent. She's so cute and loving. This is my Tomiko, my second child, she's more timid than her big sister. I love her all the same. I had another baby but sadly I lost her to stillbirth."

"A tour could be arranged for you and your daughters after this meeting if that would be acceptable to you. The pictures of your children are lovely and remind me of the ones I keep in my wallet of my own children and my wife who is pregnant with our next child as we speak. I have always been thankful for my wife and children being in my life, for them being in good health, and for me having all that I could have ever wanted. My condolences, to you, for the loss of your third baby; I have never known, first hand, about that pain but, indeed, I have seen the pain in others."

OOC: I'm changing the history of Spensonia just so you know; so Fyodorov's prior information concerning his nation's history is invalid as of this moment. Don't worry, I'll send you a telegram about it in due time or mention it here.

Fyodorov solemnly nodded. "We can only hope, Your Highness. Is there anything else you wish to discuss?"

(okay)

"Have we discussed trading yet? Kurona is very much a richly agriculture state, thus we have a variety of crops to send to you. We have other resources like coal, gold, silver, and some oil. We can also offer great culture products, books, art, other media."

"Well on the technology front, we're pretty much in the past. We rather keep it that way, it's just our way of life. Kurona however makes up in our art and culture. We have many kinds of books on all types of subjects. Books about the farming culture, books about our history, fantasy novels, I even have a book I wrote my self about my political experiences dealing with two allies who were once enemies. I should have brought a copy, shoot. It's called Tugawar!."
