There is no matching date for the current time in Kalaurth, nor is there any historical record of any place with this name ever existing anywhere in space or time. What there is, in this world, is belief. The greatest joys and fears of all blooded (and many unblooded) creatures realised, a palce where you could be saved from death from the hands of a Corpsewalker by a Thunder God, only to have him inflict worse upon you. A place where the imagination is key- or at least, once was. The age old secrets of the manipulation of the Irregularis, as the Mage's refer to it, in the Mundus were lost, destroyed by iron, and fire, and steel, and malice. The tyrannical Old Human Empire lies in tatters, it's banners still fluttering listlessly from the broken, still watchful parapets.
Now, the world is a far harsher place. The race's war between each other and themselves, and the very Earth rebels against it's former masters. However, out of the darkness and the fog, a light must come. One great soul, to unite all of the Realm to it's former glory- or to bring it down in flaming ruin to it's final, bitter end. Only time will tell, but of course, time is a contruct of the Mundus.
OOC: This is your fairly run of the mill High Fantasy, Past Tech World roleplay. You just fill out the template below, tell me where you want to be on the map, and then decide the fate of your new nation. I've also got a useful link under here to a brilliant site for getting names.
Oh, and a final note. The help of a map maker is requested, nay, sorely needed. I mean, look at my craptastic effort.

History of Nation: The history of the Desert Empire of the Naurimor is one filled with blood and hardship. Starting as settlers of the Old Human Empire, they were seen as little more than slaves. After 100 years of opression, they had finally gathered the strength and will to fight back, to rebel againt their overlords.
They failed.
They were exiled from their homes, cast out into the deserts of the Suhtland Expanse. They set up tribes there, mostly along the banks of the River Rozal, and did the best they could to scrape by. They occasionally banded together, forming alliances by nothing but word of mouth and a handshake, to attack Old Empire outposts or other tribes. Eventually, through shrewd negotations and even shrewder backstabbing, the Nourimor tribe came to be the strongest, allying themselves with the Desert Elven-Kin. Over the centuries, the two race's cultures merged, their two races binding together in one. The small hamlet that had been the tribes main village had grown into Haketh-al Kah, City of Ravenrock in their native language. From there, repelling the endless horrors of the Southlands had been relatively easy, but the warrior culture it has burned into them lingers today.
