The word is horror. The theme is macabre. The battlefield - a city that switches between realms after a catastrophic occurrence.

What's real becomes imaginary, and what's imaginary becomes hellishly real. It's going to revolve around a group of people stuck in a city that, after an unexplained incident, frequently jumps between our realm and another realm, like universes.

There will be slight military action, but the majority of it will be civilians and how the oppressive environment will break them down. Of course, being II, this can be anyone - diplomats visiting the city and caught in the wake, government officials, mercenaries or however. BUT, I don't want guns blazing zombie smashing supernatural style horror. I want RPers who appreciate the surreal, the macabre and the dark, gritty and open ended style of horror that leaves one to interpret on how the events will and have unfolded.

I will divulge a bit more, but I need anyone who's planning on joining some sort of msn, or telegram. This has to be planned out very carefully.

No problem, man. Like I said (or haven't), consider this thoroughly, because I will expecting some level of activity in this one. It's not a war, it's not a civil dispute, and barely has anything to do with politics. It's just a good ol' fashioned horror thread.

It's probably because without alot of coordination it's difficult to maintain them. All RPers need to know for sure how it will develop, how to RP without revealing things to the readers and how to interact without godmoding.

I'm doing one of these in "Aiming for Heaving Though Serving in Hell", but it's for now more of a multi-author story than of a RP, thus I have a natural interest in a more participative sort of thread to sharpen my skills of making an excellent collaborative story.

The only problem is as always, my irregular posting rate and occasional writer's blocks, which are the reasons why I tend to do better writing stories than participating of fast-paced RPs.

It's not necessary, and in this situation, might be helpful. But if you're unsure, just send me a telegram.

This is a horror rp that focuses largely on character development rather than plot development. Because it is rightly so, I am giving you the liberty to include whatever information you would consider important. Just telegram me with information that you think would be pertinent to the whole scenario, but what I definitely want is a motive this person would carry for going there / staying there.

Yeah, a motivation is needed to stay in there. A horror becomes less frightening when it loses levels of credibility on behalf of the characters.

It's coming up soon, in fact. The first little bit will be how people get to the city. You can roleplay your characters getting there first for whatever reason. Then the characters either meeting or going solo will happen after everyone's established.

The thread has been started. It's at the stage where you might just want to roleplay your motivations for going to that city and end up in that realm.
