Looking upon the assorted representatives in Parliament, all setting in the various sections with their respective parties, he then gazed down once more unto the completely empty dais in a attempt to summon the fiery passion burning deep within his very being. Letting out a soft sigh he then banged his hand against the dais and exclaimed,” The time has finally come. The will of the people has been done.
The results of the secret ballot show that we have gained the 6/10 majority we need to officially pass any measure we see fit. The recently passed bill has delegated to me the full power needed to execute the full power of Parliament on behalf of the legislature of the Scandinvan Empire.
My first act, with my new powers, is to declare the end of the Empire. Hence forth I strip all the titles, powers, and privileges of the Imperial family from them and nationalize all of the assets of the Imperial family. I declare it treasonous to speak out against my actions, and any parliament member who opposes me shall be stripped of their position and held in contempt. I declare that the military shall not be fully under my personal command, all dissenters shall be branded as traitors and shoot, if need be.
I do hereby pass into law that no citizen has the right to speak out against my regime, all private industries are nationalized, the media is from henceforth nationalized, and that all persons who resist shall be sent to ‘reeducation’ camps.
I do also give 120 hours for all foreigners to leave the nation or face my righteous fury.

Immediately more then half of the Parliament (those of the Norse First, Imperialist, Veterans, and Conservatives) stood up and began demanding that the man step down, or that they shall personally rid the Empire of his treason. Yet, this was not unplanned and as soon they did so State soldiers stormed into the Parliament after, as part of the secret coup of the man known as Markos ac Niv. They pointed their loaded guns at the members of Parliament who has remained standing after they had entered the room. 383 members of Parliament, out of 1000, were now dead or dying in the chamber of Parliament.

Despite his terrible actions no would speak out of fear that they, and their families, would be punsihed horrifically for their attempt to defend the old Empire, and the rightful rule of the land that they so loved. As the whole immediate family of the Emperor gathered at the hidden Imperial retreat, while the Parliament was holding a secret session, a number of individuals who were part of the retinues were setting up a bomb in the basement of the palace which would cause the whole palace to collapse and tumble the hill into a nearby lake. They slept away from the festivities of the reunion to go to the lower corridors of the palace where they found the controls to the explosives which had been rigged around the foundations of the palace in order to cause a certain collapse of the building.
After waiting a couple of days, to ensure that as many members of the Imperial family were there before the took actions and to also make sure that everything would be in order when they finally destroyed the decadent fools who had for thousands of years ruled the Scandinvan Empire.
Learning of the arrival of the last of the Emperor’s sons (so they thought) they departed from the building and went to a safe distance from the palace. After getting to about eight hundred yards away from the outer walls of the palace they used a remote detonator to trigger all the explosives underneath the palace.
The bombs let loose their fiery wrath and within seconds the palace collapsed in upon itself. In that same moment every single one within the line of succession was dead within moments, and any Imperial loyalists would most certainly lose their most important symbol, the Emperor. Thus, did Emperor Ingolf III die and with him nearly all the successors to the Imperial throne.

I am proud to be the first one to tell you that the old Empire has been dissolved, the nobility stripped of their titles and privileges, the Imperial army turned into the Grand Army of the Scandinvan State, the powers/rights of the Imperial throne are hereby taken, and the name of the Glorious Empire of the Scandinvans change to the Scandinvan State.
In order to secure the existence of our new government I have forwarded a number of new laws that will protect our new order by ensuring none my challenge it, individuals who might seek to undermine our new government. Yet, I assure any resistance to our new government shall fall upon death ears and those responsible shall be punished for their treachery accordingly.
There is one last thing that I am sad to report, the entirety of the northern retreat at which the whole of the immediate Imperial family has collapsed in upon itself, due to a gas explosion, and killed nearly the whole of the Imperial family.
In the stead of the Emperor I shall now rule and I do formally abolish the monarchy of the Empire in favor of establishing a state for the people, without ties to the old traditions of the Empire which have bogged us down. Without the oppression of the ethnic groups of the old Empire.
My hope is that my rule is a transition period for the beginnings of a new nation that the people can truly have a say in.

With the death of nearly half of their Order due to purges carried out by Niv regime the order had lost much of its strength. Yet, their leadership was still intact, due to precautions set in place that their leaders were never all in the same place at the same time, and their anger great the Imperial Hands were preparing to begin organizing a revolt against the new regime. Yet, they had knowledge the not even Niv had, that the second son of the Emperor, an individual whose face was not well known beyond the Imperial court, had not been at the palace and actually been speed away the night before by a Imperial Hand at the behest of the Emperor who had some awareness of Niv’s plot.
Using the second son of the Emperor, Prince Godfrey, as a symbol they had begun planning a revolt against Niv. However, they would have to wait at least four years before they could begin to operate intensively as the Prince was young, only fifteen, and they did not have the support needed to openly challenge Niv yet, as Niv had nearly sixty percent of the senior officers of the Imperial Army in his employ. Despite this though the nobility and common people could be relied upon to support their Emperor after experiencing the sadism of Niv and due to their loyalties to the Emperor, a loyalty that we shared by a super majority of the citizens of the Scandinvan Empire.
