Fifteen Year Olds to be Executed
Execution Will be Broadcasted Publicly

Two months ago, five teenagers - all fifteen year olds - brutally beat a local icon into unconsciousness as he played his tuba near the sporting district of the city and died days later.

The man, who for over forty years, played his tuba for hours before and after every sports event, as well as throughout the city when sports were not playing that day, is a local icon and adds color to the city; a unique bit of life to his surroundings.

Now, the five teenagers have all been sentenced to execution by electrocution. The twist? These five fifteen year olds will get the rare 'public displace' clause in order to make a statement.

Their execution is to be broadcasted publicly throughout ViZion and - if non-ViZionarian broadcasting companies play it - it could go global. This is the first time in over a decade that an execution has been shown publicly. The last time an execution took place in public view was when President Delain's son was publicly flogged to death (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9765923&postcount=3) after he murdered two teenagers.

"Tonight, we have a very special program for you. As you know, five teenagers are set to receive their execution. Tommy Hensky, Bobby Larkins, Henry and Richard Fredrickson, as well as Pat Richards are all fifteen year olds who have been charged with the beating death of Jake, the Tube Man as he's known in Vitalita.

This is the first time in over ten years that someone has been given the 'public display' clause, which means it will be broadcasted tonight here in KING 15 as our affiliates everywhere. And now we will be going to the Electrocution Room.

The screens flip into a dim room. The judge who handed down the sentencing, a priest and two guards stood around a chair as a blond-haired teenager struggle to get free as he's being strapped into a large metal chair by an Executioner whom wears all black clothing. "No!!! Get me the fuck out of here!! Mom!!!" yelled Tommy "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" he yelled after the Executioner finished strapping him in.

"Do you have any final words?" asks the priest as he steps up to the teenager. "Please... please... I didn't mean to. Please, let me go, please..." he begged as tears began streaming from his eyes, crying. "Please... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." he said, each time quieter than the other.

The priest stepped back. You could see he was tearing up, trying to keep from crying. The screen flashed to the room where forty people were in, including the parents of all five teens. The mother of Tommy, Mary, was at the one-way window, crying and pounding on it, screaming.

Flashing back into the Electrocution Room, no sound made its way into the room from the pounding or screams as it was several slabs deep. The sound went one-way - from the Electrocution Room to the seating room.

The Executioner stepped back and put his hand on the large switch, Henry still crying. "Please... no... please... I'm sorry... please..." he muttered. And with the flip of the switch, a loud buzzing sound could be heard, following by some clicking noises as the electricity made its way slowly to the metal chairs. Then the screams as an initial zap of 20,000 volts shot through his body, quickly lowering to 5,000 volts for about thirty seconds.

As he screamed and the electricity filled his body, his body arched and began to shack.

After thirty seconds, Henry lay limp as the electricity was lowered to a comparatively low 1800 volts for another twenty seconds.

The process repeated two more times before the electricity was cut off. His vitals were checked, and he was declared dead.

(Fastforward, Henry's twin Richard Fredrickson as well as friends Tommy Hensky, Bobby Larkins, and Pat Richards all went through the process. Bobby was the only one that did not please for his life as he shown no remorse, in fact even having a sickening grinning just before the electricity slammed into him.)

The screen went black before returning to KING 15's studio where the anchor sat speechless for several seconds trying to compose himself. With teary eyes and a shaky voice, he spoke.

"Well, folks. That is what happens when you beat someone to death. Five teenagers have lost their life. Let us take a moment to pray for all the families involved in this. Here is to the hope we never have to put another teenager down. And with that, I bid you good night.

In Soviet India, the reaction to the state-sanctioned killings in ViZion largely takes the form of 'small media' derision, that is, disgust voiced via intranet blogs and local community-run press, with the state mouthpiece, Gadar! treating it brisky as Other News... and adopting the same, 'how did these hicks figure-out electricity, anyway?' tone.

The lately in vogue rantings of self-establish Indian Red Army spokesperson Comrade Abu Patel don't scrimp on the criticism, either, Patel's Indonet blog being updated specifically to cite the executions as further evidence of the need for the initiation of the cataclysmic Final Conflict of long-standing Igovian-Soviet propaganda.

"Where murder is legalised and regulated" writes Patel, "the Revolutionist has free rein. How can I find a more clear demonstration of the urgency facing us in the cause of the World Revolution? This ViZion is an ogre of laziness that it would rather kill than cure, even in the case of its own children. To have the mother of a child watch her own off-spring's slaughter is spittle in the eye of decency." He signs off in typical style; "Death to the ViZion state! All Power to the Soviets!"

Portmeirion, meanwhile, takes no direct action, as official condemnation could be backed up by nothing -short of total war- in relation to a non-Igovian state with which no trade is done.

Googlewooper news networks, having no other interest in the news of ViZion base their stories on the incident on those from Soviet Indian sources (without infringing copyright of course ;)) with additional comments of a ‘critical’ nature being made by important Googlewoopers. The words ‘uncivilised’ and ‘Texan’ are a common theme though this second reference to a state which doesn’t appear to actually exist (or at the very least be taken seriously by the rest of the world) is confusing most analysts.

Calls of “put ‘em all in the chair!” have largely been lost on the Government with President Jon Hay today replying with “ViZion? Who?” He did however immediately double this and next year’s quota of permanent immigrants to Googlewoop to cater for those wishing to flee from the travesty.

OOC: lol occasionally we like making a point clear. It just to happens we've made a couple important points very clearly lately... beyond that, we're still a good country. Otherwise we wouldn't be so good to our citizens, offering insane levels of liberties on the civil and economic side of things, and have multiple humanitarian missions going...

ViZion Executes Five
Accused murderers of street musician electrocuted

Today ViZionarian authorities executed Tommy Hensky, Bobby Larkins, Henry and Richard Fredrickson, and Pat Richards, all aged 15.

The five have been accused of beating to death a street musician known as “Jake the Tube Man” two months ago in the city’s sporting district.

The executions of the five were broadcast live over national TV, and rebroadcast to ViZionarian affiliates worldwide.

Of the five, only Bobby Larkins refused to show any remorse at the end.

“We acknowledge that this is the result of the internal judicial processes of ViZion,” said Sir Artemis neGuarda, Secretary of State for International Judicial Affairs.

Speaking to press at the Ministry of External Affairs in the Red Bailey, Sir Artemis stated that “His Serene Majesty’s Government must nevertheless express our horror and disgust at the execution of children, especially in such a public manner”.

Other senior officials have criticised the ViZionarians for making “a perversion of Justice into a circus”.

Ambassador Caoláin, Covenant representative to ViZion, did not register an official protest “as Covenant interests and citizens were not involved”. The Ambassador did label the judicial response as “disproportionate, especially given the level of remorse from four of the five”.

Dame Candinda Alaad, UIK Secretary of State for the Media, blocked the ViZionarian affiliates from rebroadcasting the executions in the Covenant. The Secretary has since ordered an investigation of ViZionarian media outlets operating in the Covenant to determine if any violations of the embargo took place.
